in the Junko au Byakuya comes around to the idea that Junko actually is becoming a better person but before that he probably isn't on board with the idea of letting her around the public or him for that matter so he's always gotta give his two cent and a dollar about what he thinks about Junko
Thats why kyoko's here to stand up for her cause she believes if somebody wants to change they get another chance + shes giving her the benefit of the doubt for Makoto

Recovering
After (Probably) a year, I once again write something for the IF timeline of the Ghost AU, after spending almost a month struggling with procrastination to get it done.
He wasn't sure of how much time had passed by since Mukuro left the nurse office to destroy Monokumas left, right and center, having spent all of it watching the still unconscious Makoto.
And being unable to stop thinking about her every time he looked at his pale face.
He still couldn't understand how something as inconsequential as that fake escape switch ended up breaking this entire killing game, and sending it into such disarray, to the point that Junko had to lie to the rest of her classmates to get them against Mukuro and the still injured Makoto.
Maybe all of this was just the boy's "luck"s doing, but then, why he fell victim of the trap that was meant for the soldier?
Why he ended up in the same position he left Akane in after he let himself die?
He barely heard Mukuro opening the room's door and going back inside it, but, once he finally felt her presence back in the nurse office, he first noticed her frazzled expression, before he realized what she was doing.
She was trying to hide the still unconscious Makoto under the bed.
Probably to make sure the rest of class 78, who had been manipulated by Junko to start a manhunt against them, couldn't find him, and hurt him.
Once she hid Makoto, leaving him with a saline solution being injected into his arm to substitute the blood he had lost thanks to that damned spear, she immediately dove under another bed, clinging onto its frame until her body was completely hidden to the naked eye, just in time to hide herself from a small group of undesirable guests.
A group formed by half of the rest of class 78.
It was clear that they came here to find Mukuro and Makoto, thanks to the injury the latter received earlier, but, thanks to the soldier's hiding both herself and Makoto, no one in the group saw anyone, and everyone got ready to leave the room.
Well, almost everyone.
Kyoko Kirigiri was able to convince the rest of the group to leave her and Chihiro Fujisaki alone in the room, under the excuse of using the broken-down Monokuma to get any information about the outside world, but he felt that that wasn't the reason behind the detective's want to stay behind in this room.
A suspicion that was immediately confirmed by her actions once everyone else left the nurse office.
She apologized to Chihiro, and asked her to record everything that would be said in the room, before she switched her attention towards the bed Mukuro was under, demanding the soldier to reveal, and explain, herself, having already noticed her, and Makoto's, presence in the room.
Once again, the detective proved in his eyes that her deductive prowess wasn't nothing to laugh at.
Finally having been caught, and without any possibility to escape without being seen again, Mukuro finally revealed herself to her two classmates, and started answering Kyoko's questions.
He spent almost all their conversation completely focused on the still unconscious Makoto, but he still was able to hear some interesting things from their mouths.
Like the fact that Junko didn't just erased Kyoko's memories of her time in the academy, but all of her memories, to the point that the only things remaining in her head were her name, and her desire to enter Hope's Peak.
It was clear that Junko didn't wanted her to solve any of the mysteries behind the killing game before she could even implement them, so she took every little thing related to her talent out of her brain before she left her with the rest of their class to start the deadly game.
He could understand her worries.
After all, if that was the deductive prowess of an amnesiac Kyoko Kirigiri, the gods will know what she would be able to do with all of her memories restored.
Once explanations were finished, and promises were made, Mukuro left the room to keep her rebellion against her sister, leaving Makoto behind, under the care of Kyoko and Chihiro.
And his too, even if neither of them would ever know it.
With Mukuro away, and the other two girls still on the room talking to each other, his attention went back towards the unconscious luckster, barely paying attention to what Kyoko and Chihiro were talking about, the latter having apparently discovered something about the Monokumas' programming.
But, whatever that discovery was, it ended up not mattering that much for him.
Because that was the moment Makoto finally opened his eyes.
---
Well, it looked like Makoto had recovered his memories somehow.
Because how he would have been able to know so much about his classmates otherwise?
Once they realized that the luckster had woken up, the rest of the class was called to go to the nurse office, while Kyoko explained to him what had happened while he was unconscious.
His classmates were still too blinded by Junko's lies to believe his words about him and Mukuro not being the masterminds behind the killing game, and the truth behind their imprisonment, even with Kyoko and Chihiro confirming to the others that his words were true, so, with a sigh and a pained grimace from having to sit up with a gaping wound in his stomach, he revealed his trump card.
His knowledge of the deepest secrets his classmates had.
Secrets that they once confided to him, and each other, during those two years when they were friends, those two years they spent together before the end of the world started.
This knowledge completely shook them to their core, planting small seeds of doubt against Junko's words in their hearts, and finally giving them a reason to trust Makoto once again.
But he still couldn't call it a victory for class 78.
Because they were still trapped inside the building, and without any escape plan in mind.
With Mukuro distracting Junko, and destroying her means of controlling what the classroom were doing, they started to formulate a plan, something about breaking in inside somewhere, but he didn't payed them that much attention.
Because the only thing that kept his attention was Makoto, who was still injured, but still trying to help his classmates no matter how much agony he was in thanks to his injuries.
Once again, his actions became just another reminder of her, her ghost still haunting him even though he was the one who died.
It hurt. It hurt so much.
And he didn't knew how to make it stop.
"Utsuro? Are you... ok?"
Makoto's voice, despite how weak it had become, still dragged him back into reality, finding himself being watched by those hazel eyes he has been stuck with since his death, a glow of kindness and compassion still shining through them despite the pain he could see marring his features.
"I'm ok, Makoto Naegi" He wasn't going to tell him anything. Because, why he should tell this to a complete stranger? "And why are you worried about me? You're the one who is injuried, not me"
"Because you're my friend" He wasn't able to stop a shiver go through his body at hearing his words, praying for him to not having noticed it. Who the hell he thought he was, telling him something like that? "Just like Ikusaba..."
Silence followed Makoto's bold proclamation, only being broken by the voices of the other members of the class, who had noticed their conversation, and were now asking the luckster about it, thanks to their inability to see him.
It wasn't until a bit later, once everyone else was once again distracted with the plan, and weren't paying attention to him, that Makoto focused back his sights on him.
And told him something that he wasn't expecting:
"I... I remember seeing you... or someone who looked like you... back when- before... all this... started"
He blinked a few times in confused shock, trying to process what Makoto had just said, before letting out a weak "What?" out of his mouth.
Unfortunately, it looked like the luckster didn't heard him, because he continued rambling about it "Yeah, I'm sure it was you... part of class... 79" His expression immediately changed once he said that number, eyes narrowed and lost in thought, before he continued, his voice betraying sadness through its tone "You... died... Reserve Course attacked the building, and... everyone died"
"Not quite..." Those words were supposed to be only known to himself, not realizing that he had spoken them louder than expected until he noticed the confused gaze the luckster was directing towards him.
"What...? What are you... talking about?"
He couldn't help but to grit his teeth in frustration, his thoughts cursing the entire chain of events that had drove him right into this situation.
But, at the same time, he couldn't find in himself hate towards the boy in front of him, who only wanted answers about the meaning behind all those memories he was just recovering in a whirlwind of pain and exhaustion.
"I... I will tell you later, once you and your friends get out of here. Now, you need to rest, you're still injured" He didn't had any intention of keeping that promise. With Junko still around, he knew that it wouldn't be any chance to keep that promise.
Makoto tried to protest against his words, but exhaustion finally took over him, sapping whatever strength he still had, and forcing him back into the bed.
Now that the luckster was once again asleep, he took a look back to the rest of the class, who looked like they had finally thought of a escape plan, before sighing.
This wasn't going to be over just yet, even if they somehow find a way to leave this building in one piece.
Because Junko would be still alive.
Alive, and ready to send her forces to kill the the moment they step outside.
But, at the same time, there was a small part of him who wanted to see them succeed, see them break the game and escape from Junko's clutches.
He wasn't sure from where these feelings were coming from.
Did the memories of "Yuki Maeda" were affecting him more strongly than he thought?
Or it was something else?
Either way, he just couldn't make this feeling go away, no matter how much he tried to repress it, or ignore it.
It just didn't wanted to leave him alone.
Watching as how a small group of the students of class 78 left the nurse office to places unknown, he decided it would be better to just keep his new role as an observant.
To see which team will become the winner in this ruined killing game.
And to see which team would become the most interesting one in his eyes.

If the 78th class takes the role of the 77th class, will they also be put in the neo world programme? And will chiaki create instead of makoto?
Yes, our remnants here will be put in the neo world program! It will probably be slightly different for the 78th class though.
For the 77th class, the purpose of the neo world program was to restore their old personalities before they met junko and got brainwashed (basically erase the brainwashing).
Since in my au the 78th class wasn't brainwashed, restoring their old personalities will be a lot more complicated. The program would have to try not to erase the parts of their despair but to help them overcome it, to move away from despair and accept hope.
As for who created the neo world program will be a little secret! All I will say is that it was multiple people who created it with chiaki being one of them!

In a faraway kingdom in a world where magitek is abundant, one of the robots created as a butler to the royal Saihara family, whomst was christened as "Kiibo", had gained sentience after his creator's many failed attempts. In celebration of this miracle, a huge party was held at the castle, and the High Faeries of the world were all invited. Unfortunately, one of them was forgotten- the High Faerie of Invention, Iruma, the one who bestowed the miracle upon Kiibo in the first place! Feeling inconceivably betrayed by this(not knowing it was unintentional on the rulers' part), she makes a deal with the intentionally-uninvited High Faerie of Chaos, Enoshima, to help her get even.
A curse of curiosity is placed on Kiibo so that, in three years' time from his creation, he will venture out to Enoshima's realm, where he will touch the thorns of a cursed rose and not only lose his miracle, but be deactivated permanently! Well, permanently I say, but there is one way to reverse it, and that is a kiss of true love, which will restore his miracle and wake him again. Iruma plans to be the one to deliver this kiss, mostly to have his love(which was her intention from the beginning), but also, she knows curses like this have caused huge amounts of hubbub among kingdoms since before windmills were a thing. Thus, she'd be seen as a savior, with none of her involvement in the setup ever known!
However, it's not that simple. See, the heir to the throne and the one Kiibo actually loves, Shuichi, is aware of this whole thing(unlike the rest of his family who only knew about Enoshima's part), and isn't going to let Iruma have her way. He needs to get Iruma to quit her plan, whatever that takes, and save Kiibo. He needs to be quick about this, because if the cursed rose's petals all fall, Kiibo won't be able to be saved.
So basically, fairytale-ish Saiibo AU.
love the sleeping beauty elements here haha
Shuichi knew it was an accident that Miu wasn’t invited; her invitation was genuinely lost in the mail or something of the sort. The three years had already passed, so he needed to act fast to get to Miu and Kiibo both.
The kiss of true love was something that wouldn’t come easily, of course. True love was a bit of an old-fashioned way to break a curse, but it would work. And Shuichi knew he was the one Kiibo loved.
It wasn’t that he thought Miu was evil- just misguided in her efforts. She shouldn’t have gotten involved with Junko, who really was evil in thinking of the curse to begin with.
Miu didn’t make it easy for him to get to Kiibo, though, since she left plenty of her other inventions in Shuichi’s way to stall him. But he had to reason with her, or even show her that his kiss of true love would work, while hers wouldn’t.
Soon it was just the two of them with Kiibo, who was still deactivated. Shuichi would be able to save the one Miu put so much effort into creating- an argument that ultimately allowed him to save Kiibo from permanent deactivation.

I know the algebraic expression of L-O-V-E [Kamunami/Hinanami & Yandere!Chiaki] - Chapter 1
Disclaimer: This is an AU in which the Chiaki AI got at least partially infected by the Junko Virus. This is what makes her become a Yandere and a bit out of character. This AU also entails Hajime and Izuru becoming more of a DID-System, instead of fusing into one person. The main difference, compared to the real illness, is that they can switch out consciousness at will. Also, major spoilers and canon divergence ahead. You have been warned.

Chapter 1
“Hello. Can you hear me?”
The green eyes of the spiky haired boy lit up in ecstasy, hearing her voice again. As his fingers touched the screen lightly, on which the image of a sleepy looking girl had appeared.
“Yes! Yes, I can hear you. Chiaki. Can you hear me?!”
“Chiaki? Is that… my name?” The girl on the monitor asked with a soft voice.
“Yes. Well technically, kinda.” The young adult tried to explain. “You know what. Scratch that. Yeah, you’re Chiaki. Nanami Chiaki to be precise.” Nervously scratching his neck as he chuckled.
It does seem like that Izuru had restored her personality into a new AI, however without any previous memories of anything which had happened. After all, he told Hajime how dangerous that would be, so a start from zero was the only way, he’d even help with the situation.
“And I am Hajime Hinata! Pleased to meet you!” Flashing a big grin over his face. On one hand he felt so glad finally being able to see her again. But even that was a little soured by what had transcended between them previously.
“Hajime Hinata.” Chiaki repeated, tilting her head ever so slightly. “Named saved.” It took quite a while before she spoke up again. “Are you, my creator?”
For a moment Hajime was flabbergasted by that sudden question. Did Izuru restore more of her, then he’d have hoped for? His hand twitched over the glass nervously. “Ah. Yes and no. Well not quite me. Izuru did it. Izuru Kamukura.”
“Izuru Kamukura. Name saved. Creator. Occupation saved.” The static voice behind the screen stated. “Please tell me more about Izuru Kamukura.” Obviously, she was a bit confused on who that might be.
“Well, it’s a little complicated, really.” Nervously gushing over the situation, as his gesture turned into scratching his cheek now instead. “Well let me start from the beginning.” Hajime sat down in front of the computer, eagerly looking up, speaking to the recovered AI, filling her in with almost the entire story.
“Got it. Changes saved.” As the program stored everything Hajime had told her within her memory databank. However, a few things Hajime deliberately left out, where all the things which went down between the tragedy and their awakening at the real Jabberwok island.
“But you know… there’s one thing, I should tell you as well. What happened to the real you.”
“The real me? Oh yeah, you mentioned a girl with the same name as me. What has happened to her?” The AI got curious about that.
“Let’s say… she… uhm.” It was difficult to come up with a way to phrase that properly and as lighthearted as possible. “She vanished one day. No one really knows what happened to her.” Which wasn’t outright a lie, but not the truth either. “And… since I haven’t seen her… I mean you, since…”
Hajime got up from his seat, to give the Chiaki inside the computer a warm smile of reassurance. “I asked Izuru to rebuild you. So that I can see you again. Interact with you again.”
“Hajime Hinata. Love interest of Chiaki Nanami. Relationship-Status saved.” It was still difficult to interact with her, when she was acting so mechanically, but it was fine for the time being.
As they spend some more time together until the sun had long set and it was deep in the night, Hajime let out a yawn. “Are you getting tired, Hajime?” Chiaki asked him. “Hmm, yes. It’s getting late and well humans need to sleep after all, right?” Giving her a cocky side-grin.
“Of course. Good night and sleep well. I’ll be waiting here in the morning when you come back.” She said with a soft smile and her hand over her chest. Despite that, she sounded so automated, as if that was rather a programmed response than really a genuine heartfelt ‘good-bye’.
Shortly after the PC went into sleep-mode, conserving its energy, as Hajime left the dark control room.
“Are you happy?” Izuru asked him inside his mind.
“Well, I’m happy I could see her again. About her personality, I’m not sure yet. She doesn’t feel quite like the Chiaki we knew and loved; you know?”
A short hum of agreement.
“I know, you did this to protect her and me. It’s a safety measurement, to not reactivate the virus and let it do any more harm than it already did.”
“Good. You remembered. I don’t like repeating myself.”
Yet, it felt a bit empty, both Hajime and Izuru knew that. But for the night they quietly went to sleep.

An overview of the “Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp” AU
There are some interesting divergences from the other timelines within the reality of Danganronpa S — and I don’t just mean the obvious main plot in which the characters are about to graduate when they attend a VR summer camp. Some of this stuff is backstory that is only explained via specific character scenes you can get on Friendship squares. Some of it is just some throwaway dialogue casually referenced between unrelated characters. Some of it is blatantly stated during story cut scenes. And some of it is changes to the characters which... I can’t help but wonder if it’s caused by this writing team not “getting” the characters right, or if these are intentional deviations.
So - without any significant spoilers - I’m going to run down 10 most noteworthy aspects of this new Danganronpa universe as revealed through “Development” mode and the progressively unlocked story chapters.
1) The casts of DR1, DR2, and DRV3 are graduating from Hope’s Peak concurrently in this reality. Ultimate Talent Development Plan portrayed them as classes 78, 77-B, and 79 respectively, but in DRS, they are all the same age and are simply in separate classrooms within the same year. (Which number class of Hope’s Peak are they in this reality? That’s... not specified as far as I’ve seen.)
2) Monokuma is a robot created by Junko, of course. He is not controlled directly by her as he was in DR1, however; he operates independently here, just as he did in UTDP and V3. And we learn that Hope’s Peak has let the little bastard run amok on campus for three straight years because they consider his presence/influence to be part of how Junko is developing her talents. *facepalm*
3) Usami is a robot (implied to have been created by Gekkogahara, althought she’s never named) to serve Hope’s Peak’s students... who the Monokuma robot forcibly converted into “Monomi” immediately on her first goddamn day of service. Because of COURSE he did.
Tumblr media
Not even Kazuichi and Miu’s combined power can restore her Usami-ness.
4) Maki Harukawa is legitimately dual-talented here! Her “cover story” talent from the main V3 canon and from UTDP is now a legit, confirmed talent she has in addition to her secret one. She doesn’t fully understand why she has it or necessarily want to have it, but she still demonstrates that talent whether she intends to or not.
5) Some of the playthroughs you have to do on the “Development” board game are absolutely non-canon, even within this AU. Specfiically: Izuru Kamakura, Usami, and Junko Enoshima. Do you have to complete playthroughs with them in order to reach the end of the canon story? Yes. Does anything you see in their cut scenes or Friendship Square scenes actually count as canon within that story? Absolutely not. These characters are definitively established in the main storyline to NOT be present within the Neo World Program. Funnily enough, however, some of these characters do share events with each other that can be encountered in either characters’ playthroughs... so I guess they share a bubble sub-universe?
Tumblr media
*WAVES HANDS FRANTICALLY* THIS IS NOT REALLY HAPPENING. IGNOOOOOOORE THIIIIIIIIIIIS!
6)  As was the case with Ultimate Talent Development Plan, there are some story threads that run across multiple character playthroughs in the “Development” board game, so you can gradually build a more complete picture of what goes down during everybody’s time in the Neo World PRogram. I always liked that aspect of UTDP, and it’s cool to see it here once more. You can gradually piece together the story of various characters putting on a play, the mystery of the photos Mahiru doesn’t remember, These include the the characters putting on a play of “Momotaro,” the mystery of the photos that Mahiru doesn’t remember taking, the odd rivalry between Masaru and Gundham, and more.
7) Much weirder, there are some cut scenes/dialogue that are DIRECT FOLLOW-UPS to scenes from Ultimate Talent Development Plan! Even though this clearly isn’t the same AU as UTDP! For example: Hagakure has a scene where he’s talking about “Atua” and recommending that a character go to Angie to sacrifice some blood for Atua. Given that he shares no scenes with Angie in the entire game, this makes no sense unless you take into account the scenes from UTDP where Angie convinced him to believe in Atua. Furthermore, Tenko actually references this dialogue exchange from UTDP at one point. And Kaede seems to be doing her best to befriend Izuru Kamukura in a way that harkens back to their interactions in UTDP. As I said, it’s all kind of weird.
Tumblr media
Tsumiki has sacrificed enough already, but thanks.
8) If you’re wondering “Does character x still have that one part of their backstory/personality that some fans didn’t like/wanted them to get over in the DRS universe?” Sorry, but the answer is almost universally YES. All the kids from Ultra Despair Girls still have the same experiences, they all still despise adults, and they remain determined to never grow up, and they remain completely worshipful of Monaca. The culprit of V3′s third chapter is exactly the same as they ever were, so if you didn’t like the reveals about that person’s nature? Sorry; it’s exactly the same here.
There is ONE exception to this: The mastermind to DRV3, who has a secret side that is kept merely ambiguous throughout any given run on the “Development” board. This might be a world where they aren’t psychotic.
9) If you’re wondering “Is there a Despair plot in this universe?” the answer is “Yes.” The Despair plot isn’t unveiled until the final chapter that you can only unlock after completing Development mode with all 62 characters, though, so I’m not going to really get into it here. Suffice to say that it’s not the same one seen in UTDP, further cementing that this is a separate universe in spite of the references I mentioned under point #7 above. (And as I already stated elsewhere: Don’t start the last chapter without building up a strong team of characters in the Despair Tower. You’ll regret it if you don’t.)
10) Sadly, some characters seem to be more squarely fixated on one specific aspect of their character than ever before. A big example here is Toko Fukawa/Genocide(r).  Toko and her alter ego are more obsessed with Togami than ever before (which is really saying something). The characters are very near to graduation in this game, and yet Toko is still silently following Togami around like it’s Chapter 2 of DR1, constantly stalking him from the sidelines. The fixation is even more noticeable in Genocide Jack’s scenes, though, because almost ALL of them are centered around her non-stop obsession with her “White Knight.” She had a much broader range of behaviors within DR1, UDG, or UTDP, but the DRS universe pretty much narrows her down to being a Togami simp and little else.
(...................... And this is just my two cents, but I legitimately suspect this is the current writing team desperately trying to insist that Toko and Jack/Syo are absolutely, completely straight. :-/)
Tumblr media
She’s only got one thing on her mind now, and it’s not even murder.
Questions Without Answers:
- It is completely unclear what the Monokubs’ role within Hope’s Peak is. Who constructed them? Why? It is often referenced that they are supposedly “Monokuma’s children” (...so did Monokuma build them?), and for that reason, many of the students inherently distrust them. But they also are directly working in the interest of Hope’s Peak to serve the intention of this incarnation of the Neo World Program  (...did Hope’s Peak staff build them?), so for that reason, many students have befriended them. Ultimately, the latter group is correct; they are genuinely trying to be helpful through most of the story But we still never learn where they came from or why they behave how they do.
- Shirokuma and Kurokuma are here because...... why, exactly? Who built them (...Junko, I presume? Unless it was Monaca doing it for “Big Sis”?)  and for what purpose? I mean, Monokuma is already here. And Junkuro, too. Is there anything that Shirokuma and Kurokuma need to contribute?

IIRC You mentioned something about Chiaki with her eight partners. I'm curious to know who you ship her with, and how their relationships would work.
Hi there! I did say that somewhere, didn’t I? And by that, I just mean that I really like to ship Chiaki with lots of different people. XD Too many to be honest. So let’s get into them.
With Hajime Hinata and Nagito Komaeda - Honesty this is what my entire blog is based around. And you know it well. KomaHinaNami. I adore them. The Trial Point Getters. They have such chemistry with each other. Not just Hajime and Chiaki or Nagito and Hajime, but Nagito and Chiaki have a way around each other as well, with a mutual love and respect. I think there is a lot of requited and unrequited feelings on all the sides of this ship and I really adore making different AUs for these three and putting them in different situations and worlds just to see what new lines of romance I can give them. I should probably say that I really don’t like pitting Nagito and Chiaki against each other for Hajime… it just doesn’t feel right to me since Nagito and Chiaki never really show any hostility towards one another. So that kind of conflict of fighting over Hajime just doesn’t interest me.
Now people will point out that canon has left Chiaki dead, but honestly I feel things are up to interpretation at this point. Hajime has combined with Izuru and can probably restore Chiaki, Kazuichi can build her a body, etc. And if not, there’s a lot of romance in the idea that the anime left us with Chiaki saying goodbye to Hajime and encouraging him to look into the future of being with Nagito. And all of that is just like… the height of romance and love between the three for me. It’s so so so good.
With Izuru Kamukura - Well, as you guys could tell from my Remnant Chiaki comics, I have a big fondness for this ship. Like KomaHinaNami, I love this on the level of KamuKoma and KamuKomaNami as well. I really like to write dark erotic horror based stuff around these two. The dread of Hajime being erased and Chiaki having to deal with that while cutting through to Izuru simply because he’s intrigued by her Hope and defiance. It’s just *chef’s kiss*. Not to mention, it is canonly implied that Chiaki is the only one Izuru truly cared for, even seemingly leaving him to despise Junko for killing her (and tricking him???). That being said, I adore KamuKoma on the same end. That indifference and obsession… hottttt. I want both. As usual!
With Junko - Okay, who’s ready to kill me? I know it’s bad and toxic and wrong, but I like to indulge the darker side of things. I mean, we already know that if Junko likes or care for you in some way, she kills you herself. And she built a whole labrynth for Chiaki! It’s the ship I go to in order to indulge dark ideas like “What if Chiaki gave up on Hope? What if she was forced to assist Junko?” That and don’t we all believe in the inherent eroticism of smearing your own blood across someone’s image on a tv screen in defiance? The juxtaposition of the Despair in a class full of Hope vs the Hope on a class full of Despair?!
With Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu - This is a recent new favorite of mine, but oh my God, I never how Fuyuhiko kinda has a school boy crush on Chiaki. With her human side, he works hard to fix up the party for Chisa when he sees her working so hard and blushes when Kazuichi points it out. And in the UTDP, he demands for Hajime to invite Chiaki to the party after she constantly invites him to things. He just… clearly treasures Chiaki. Not to mention the way he immediately softens in the second game when Chiaki tells him she is guarding the party from Monokuma instead of joining in!!! Like… he legit smiles and says “Heh… wow thats very diligent of you…” all shyly. It’s so so so cute. I would like to draw them soon…
With Sonia Nevermind - Did you guys even see the way Sonia just befriends and loves on Chiaki? How she tries to defend her and tear at Hajime for daring to point out that Chiaki is the traitor in Chapter Five of the game? Sonia was not ready to let her go. They’re so cute. Just imagine them talking about games and Sonia eagerly pulling Chiaki along, getting her to join an occult club… beautiful.
With Mikan - Okay it’s more of a brotp, but isn’t is the cutest how Chiaki sort of connected to Mikan by teaching her how to play games?! Just awww. The art of the two is always so darn pretty too. 🥰
With Kazuichi - Again, more of a brotp. I like it when Chiaki busts his balls in the game because I’m a Souda fan and it amuses me when he gets bullied. Besides Kazuichi canonly does find her attractive. I just think these two should go on silly adventures with one another. <3 That’s all. Also they’re really hot together aesthetically.

(Byakuya Togami x Reader? That's how this idea started.) - Danganronpa 1 Ghost AU - "They Failed."
Oh it's as funky as it sounds. Just trust me on this one. Also, big fat Trigger Warning for assault, s3xual assault, murder, and angst.
Hope's Peak Academy is reportedly the most haunted high school in Japan. After the Most Tragic Incident the world had ever seen, the class of 78 was forced into a recorded killing game run by their fellow classmates Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba and failed to survive. The Future Foundation, after eventually beating Despair and restoring peace to the world, established the high school as a National Monument to the pain and suffering of the students and turned it into a museum recording the history.
There are too many stories of the passed students to count, some from construction workers and some from ghost hunters. These are their sightings.
============================================
Yasuhiro Hagakure is reportedly the most active ghost, which makes sense as the Ultimate Clairvoyant.
He tends to greet visitors at the entrance.
If you drop your hat or gloves and don't notice, you'll find them by the coat rack later for you to find.
Children tend to see him the most, or they hear a whispered joke in their ear if they're particularly upset at any of the Despair history.
He doesn't tend to interact with adults a lot, but he's known to follow the descendants of all their relatives or friends to make sure they're okay.
10/10 ghost, very friendly and a chill dude. Makes sure kids are okay.
Toko Fukawa is rarely seen or heard, but if she's there you know.
She hangs out in the bathrooms with the most common sightings being in the mirrors.
She's often found playing with her braids or grimacing at guests if there are a lot of people.
The friendliest sighting was when a child got lost and found their way to the women's bathroom.
When the panicked mother finally found them, their child was calm and content while playing with a stuffed toy they know they didn't bring.
When the child was guided to leave, they turned and waved goodbye to the mirror.
8/10, antisocial but harmless.
Genocider Syo is extremely active.
She likes pulling pranks on tall, skinny men, like throwing their wallets across the room and pinching their elbows.
If said men are blonde with blue eyes, they will tend to feel watched whenever the enter the building and will continue to think so until they leave.
Children tend to be scared of her, but if she sees a scared child she'll tend to leave the room so they're more comfortable.
She likes knocking over stuff, books and coffee mugs in particular.
However, if the staff scold her she'll knock it off.
She never knocks over artifacts, but people have seen her scissors rattle in their case.
8/10, harmless prankster.
Leon Kuwata can be found in the First-Floor Dorms.
People report hearing guitar strings playing in the boys bathrooms.
If someone mentions baseball around his dorm, mirrors and glass will crack or straight up shatter.
Paranormal investigators once spent the night in his old room, but they "forgot" to take off their shoes and slept above the covers.
They woke up with a blanket that hadn't been in the room covering them and their shoes neatly placed by the side of the door.
That same investigator used a Spirit Box to try and talk to him about what happened in the school.
Of course their older generations saw what happened live, but they never spoke of it.
"Do you have anything you need to say?"
"I'm so sorry."
6/10, ow.
Hifumi Yamada can be found in the kiln room in the Art Studio.
People hear camera clicks, as if he's still taking pictures.
Pencils will roll when the floor is completely flat.
He likes messing with the kiln and knocking off the hammers.
He loves playing the flashlight game.
If anyone mentions Celestia Ludenburg, people swear the room falls into a heavy and tense silence.
When everyone leaves the kiln, they feel his conflicting pain.
Anger? Sadness? They don't know. He's still grieving.
6/10, more ow.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru is silent unless he needs to talk.
He only talks if you do something wrong.
He doesn't play any of the games.
If you run in the museum, people swear they hear a loud voice telling them to stop.
If the staff breaks the rules at all, they straight up get smacked in the shoulder.
Groups of friends, particularly men, feel very welcome in his dorm room.
They all leave after a friendly, invisible squeeze is given to them on the arm.
6/10, he'll never change.
Mondo Owada has one reported sighting.
When construction to restore the building was going on, there was an incident between a worker and a girl on the street one afternoon.
He took her behind the building and attempted to hurt her.
A man in a Crazy Diamond gang jacket, which it should be noted that it doesn't exist anyore, pulled him off and hit him with a pick axe.
After the assaulter was unconscious, her savior didn't say a word; he looked at the girl up and down, presumably checking her for injuries, and passed her a card with a phone number before nodding to her and walking off.
It was the local s3xual assault line, which had been established only two years prior.
After she called the number, she was never able to find the card again.
She didn't even put two and two together until she visited the finished museum and saw Mondo's picture.
No one has ever seen him since.
10/10, badass.
Sayaka Maizono is in one of the boy's bathrooms in the dorms.
Visitors report feeling unnerved or even scared when they enter the bathroom.
She will not interact with you.
She doesn't like playing any of the games. Do not turn on the spirit box in her bathroom, the shower glass will crack.
One investigator decided to spend the night in the bedroom and turned on the shower in the morning.
When they got out, there was a message written in the fog on the mirror.
"LEON."
1/10, no fucking thank you.
Aoi Asahina hangs around the pool room.
She's reportedly like Hiro.
She's been seen walking the halls everywhere.
Children love visiting the pool room. They tend to feel excited and safe.
At night you can hear the pool splashing when no one is inside.
She has one recorded incident.
A child brought a small bag of donut holes to snack on.
Said child began to complain that "the air" kept pulling the donut holes out of his hands.
So they ran an experiment.
They dropped one on purpose and watched it roll away towards the pool room. After that, they didn't feel anymore pulls.
Now it's a tradition to leave a donut for her on Obon by the pool room or her dorm room.
Staff report donuts pulling themselves apart to share. If staff take a half that is offered, the treats are always gone by the next morning.
9/10, a whole mood.
Chihiro Fujisaki is relatively quiet.
They can be found in the boy's locker rooms by the pool.
People will smell a slight perfume over the chlorine.
Muscular men in particular will feel an odd sense of guilt when entering.
There was a guest, who was a muscular man, who took out their phone to record the room and listened back to it to find bits and pieces of the audio were gone.
They took it to a friend who deciphered it into a message in Morse code.
"I forgive you."
9/10, holy ow.
Celestia Ludenburg is only active in the kitchen.
Investigators have put on a full pot of tea water with no heat on the stove.
If they leave and come back, they'll find the pot whistling with the heat still off. The water is always the perfect temperature.
She is never active at night.
She'll only use the spirit box on Obon, but you have to make her a cup of milk tea first.
She's very picky about it.
There was one who got it right on the first try.
"Well finally," the box picked up. "Have some."
She will share details only she would know.
"I don't want to be rude, but do you have any regrets?"
A moment of silence. The cup on the table left for her shakes for just a moment.
"I have too many."
6/10, talkative but be careful.
Kyoko Kirigiri has never talked, but you'll hear her.
Staff will hear her heels clicking in the halls at night.
She likes writing in people's notebooks.
Random strangers will enter with an empty pocketbook and leave with a full one.
She loves to write.
She tells her side of the story.
If the mirrors ever fog up, she's there scratching out letters and numbers.
She also turns on the coffee pot in the kitchen.
Intuitive teenagers tend to know when she's there because they feel safer in rooms that people normally aren't comfortable in.
She writes clues to all the murders that she was never able to solve.
She's not done yet. She's made it very clear that she is not at peace.
9/10, talkative and informative.
Sakura Ogami is said to be hanging around in the recreational room where she committed suicide.
Children feel safe in there, but they never play with the old equipment.
There is an unspoken rule among them that they all know and have never discussed as soon as they walk in.
Some thrill-seekers sit in her chair.
They report feeling their head throbbing and intense nausea, some even passing out from the pain.
They also report intense guilt.
One child sat in the seat without thinking about it and they reported being fine but feeling a little sad.
She plays the flashlight game with investigators, but only if they're nice.
One turned on a spirit box and gave her a cup of tea on Obon.
"Thank you."
8/10, don't sit in her fucking chair you dumbass.
Mukuro Ikusaba is heard rarely.
Like Mondo, she has one reported calling.
In the gym, late at night, you can hear a quiet sobbing.
Children will hear a crying girl in their head:
"I didn't want this."
3/10, how is this even more ow.
Junko Enoshima is heard in the execution room.
Staff used to think there were multiple ghosts in there, but it turns out it's just her.
She laughs, cries, and shrieks.
The story is that she killed herself with her own executions after succeeding in the killing game.
At night investigators play the flashlight game with her.
Every visitor is always unnerved by her.
There is an unspoken bitterness towards her.
She doesn't deserve her success.
0/10, scary bitch.
Makoto Naegi is seen everywhere.
The Ultimate Lucky Student loves telling his story.
He's seen in windows and mirrors with his hoodie and a warm smile.
He's always kind and welcoming.
People leave him popular snacks at his dorm room on Obon.
He never speaks, he just likes watching everyone learn about them.
If children ever get lost he leads them back to their parents.
They'll always tell their family about the "nice boy with brown hair" who takes their hand gently and leads them to safety.
He feels a duty to protect the staff. They never feel alone at night. He's always there to keep them safe.
The descendant of Komaru Naegi, who happened to be a paranormal investigator, once spent the night in his old dorm room.
She reported hearing quiet crying and sniffling that morning before she opened her eyes and was flooded with a sense of relief.
Oh thank god, she was okay.
10/10, heart of gold.
Byakuya Togami is seen in one room and one room only.
He is the only one that people regularly see in the flesh as a full figure.
He's sitting in the library, reading a murder mystery novel.
He has never acknowledged any of the guests, except for one.
A small child, a descendant of Togami's old butler, gently knocked on the table to get his attention and waved politely. They thought he was a staff member.
He looked up at them, gave a little wave back, and went back to his book.
When they turned away and looked back, he was gone.
Staff will see him walking back to his room when the museum is closing up.
He's snobby, sure, but he has his manners. He won't purposefully get in the way of the staff.
9/10, super chill.
???
There is an unknown ghost that has one known/recorded interaction.
One night a paranormal investigator spent the night exploring the building.
They walked in the library to see Togami with a book and a lamp on that was previously off.
They nodded at him politely and went to the bookshelves to "find a book". They turned on a spirit box and stayed quiet.
The library door opened and closed.
They hear a passing conversation.
"Hello love."
A kiss, presumably on the knuckles.
"How was today?"
"Tiring", says a voice. "Lot of cleaning. Did you get any visitors?"
A chuckle. "Too many. I think they can see me."
"Probably."
A pause.
"Togami?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think they'll ever figure out what really happened here?"
Hesitance. "For their sake, I hope not."

Feedback would be lovely. Thank you for your time!

i think my ask got yeeted into the tumblr abyss last time, feel free to ignore this if not, but MM! Hajime au where Junko restored Kamukura’s memories but excluded the happy 77th class ones. He goes into a sort of rage and decides to destroy all traces of HPA, including the 77th/Remnants of Despair and the 78th.
Doing a double agent sort of act, he coordinates with Future Foundation to capture all the Remnants. Using Junko’s tech, he hijacks the NWP and sets it up so that once the big timer in the park reaches 0, the avatar of Hinata will gain Kamukura’s current memories. Junko’s AI is still uploaded, and with Hinata’s lack of positive involvement in the final trial, I imagine everything would fall to pieces.
It probably wasnt eaten i have like...70+ asks rn and once it gets buried my adhd does not See It anymore JSKXKDKDK
I like the idea of the timer counting down to Kamukura's arrival, especially since sdr2 set Kamukura up to be this MASSIVE THERAT but after he seems like he just ...watches and doesnt actually cause much harm Jdkdkdkdk
I agree that this wouldnt end well and Enoshima would likely win in spreading her consciousness UNLESS Hinata's memories also still existed. Then the two can work together after Hinata finally manages to get through to him. It certainly isn't easy because of Kamukura's taught bias against normal people, but they both despise Enoshima and want her to fail. A common enemy is a strong bonding exercise.

KH3 x Danganronpa
Warnings: The Danganronpa AU if finally here!
Rating: SFW
Tumblr media
*Aggressively searches through the Remind Me Again novel*
(A/N: HOW THE FUCK DO YOU WRITE JUNKO SPRITES?!)
For the thoughts here’s the order:
Italics = Xehanort
Purple = Xigbar
Blue = Saïx
In the Keyblade Graveyard, Xehanort closed his eyes and smiled. The wind danced around him like it did the first time he was here.
“What’s so funny, old man? Mind sharing it with us?” That question came from Xigbar, who stood with Saïx and Junko Enoshima (who’s obsessed with the old man. Like REALLY obsessed).
“I stand here today because of a fated encounter very many years ago, when I was still a young lad,” Xehanort said.
“Ooh! You talking about my dad?” Junko asked. (yes, I’m making the MoM her dad. Shhh!)
“Yes. But I see now the truth he spoke of.” Xehanort’s reminiscence earned a snort from Xigbar.
“We don’t have time for bedtime stories,” he said.
“I do!” Junko said.
“Whatever. Without the kid, we’re still down a thirteenth vessel, and as for the others, only four of us are here right now. Are you absolutely sure the others made their way back to their respective times?” At Xigbar’s tirade, Saïx turned his attention to the thirteen stone columns behind the four of them. They teleported themselves to the top of each of the columns. Saïx lifted a hand, then three of the other columns were filled by phantom images of the other members of the Real Organization XIII.
All of this reminded Xehanort of something else. These pillars had been here even back then. All thirteen of them.
Could I have known the significance of that number even back before I met Junko and the Remnants?
“Marluxia and Larxene are both here in this time, attempting to locate the New Seven Hearts. Two of the Remnant of Despair’s are with them in their search,” Saïx said.
“Glad that they’re with them. I can never keep track of them. Especially that Mikan,” Junko said.
“Anyways, Luxord is somewhere about in this age, but after our last meeting, he went in search of something, per your order. Isn’t that so?”
“Oh, that! Right...” Xigbar shrugged, trying to brush off the prying question. “Well, let’s just say that what he’s doing will benefit us in the long run.”
“Aw, now I really wanna know!” Junko pouted.
“Playing your cards close as usual,” Saïx commented, then looked over at Xehanort. Apparently, he didn’t have anything to say about Xigbar’s behavior.
“All right. The hearts of Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, Riku Replica, and Young Xehanort returned to where they came from and reassembled once more. Mukuro is accompanying Ansem and Xemnas and they are all seeking for a guardian of light.”
“Ugh, remind me again why we’re bringing the boring, smelly one on board?” Junko asked.
“Because she is the ultimate soldier. She will be helpful in our mission,” Xehanort said.
“Fine! As long as you keep her and that Mikan away from me, we shouldn’t have any problems.” Xigbar looked at the phantom images, then turned to the ones on the stone columns.
“So the ones who turned human, and then back to Nobodies are me, you, Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene--that's five. The ones from the past transferred into replicas are Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, Riku Replica, and the old man's younger self. Then we add the old man in, the total comes up to eleven. Then we have the Remnants of Despair but they don’t really count. I think we're still missing two,” he said. Xehanort smiled (gross).
“Now we must discuss why we have assembled here today. My incarnations from past times, vessels into which I transferred my heart, my essence were destroyed. Thus, I was restored to what you see now. For one to completely disappear, their heart and body must be restored to their original form. That is one reason why I distributed my heart into several vessels. Ansem and Xemnas originated from Terra, or rather his young form--and it too was restored. However, my heart has returned to me, while his is yet lost. I decided to fill this hollow vessel with my heart--indeed, the very same heart that previously resided within young Terra,” he said.
“You can’t forget about me, Xeha! We helped each other to get to where we are right now!” Junko said.
Jeez, this woman is a menace!
What the fuck is wrong with her?
She's worse than Demyx
"Of course, my darling Junko. We have done so much together," Xehanort said.
It was mostly me. She mainly focused on getting her Remnants of Despair together.
"So with Terranort, that makes twelve. Then who do we get to replace the kid?" Xigbar said.
"Twenty replicas were created by Vexen. The first twelve were nothing more than puppets, barely human," Saïx said as he motioned to the adjacent pillar where images of Vexen, Riku Replica, and a hooded girl appeared. "The prototype model was the Riku Replica, and then No. i was made. That leaves us with six. Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, Riku Replica, and Young Xehanort's hearts--five vessels, one left. Vexen and Demyx are candidates, but backups at best. The plan for the last replica is to give it a heart that is connected to Sora's."
"Connected to Sora's you say? Anyone in mind?" Junko asked.
"The second prototype that was created, No. i. Though erased from memory, it remained in Vexen's records. Its existence is greatly linked to Sora's memories, and thus should prove to be more than adequate for our needs."
"No. i... An imaginary number, how fitting," Xigbar said.
"While Young Xehanort is occupied with transferring hearts, I must go fulfill my duty. I will go and retrieve Vexen," Saïx said.
"Reliable as always. It sounds to me like you've got everything dependably under control. Well, I'm off to do my part." Xigbar vanished and Master Xehanort looks toward Saïx and Junko.
"The plan, as we agreed upon," Saïx said. He bowed his head and vanished, the images atop the pillars following.
Great, now I'm stuck with her. Just stay calm Xehanort. Remember, she's just a vessel. Nothing more.
"May your heart be your guiding key," Xehanort said.
"God, I love it when you say that!" Junko blushed.
Why am I here with her?!

id love to hear more about them 👀
I'm so sorry for answering this late, a lot has been happening in my life {most of it being very stressful}!!
I can't say much about Akira {because I'm still working on him}, but I will say that he's basically my permanently exhausted pigeon son!!
Hoshi on the other hand is a part of the DR Universe in an AU that I have. She was the Ultimate Skateboarder and was a member of the 76th Class {alongside: Ruruka Ando, Sonosuke Izayoi & Seiko Kimura}. After the Tragedy, Hoshi became a member of the Future Foundation and is the head of the 13th Branch {we don't know who the head of the 13th Branch is in canon so it's free real estate}.
Hoshi helps Makoto, Kyoko, Byakuya & Gekkogahara with the Hope Restoration Program. She was close with a few members of the 77th Class/Remnants of Despair {specifically: Mikan, Hiyoko, Ibuki & Mahiru} and was even romantically involved with Mahiru. She wanted to help her friends, the girl she loved & their classmates heal from the damage that Junko Enoshima caused. She primarily acts as an observer and stays with Gekkogahara when Makoto, Kyoko & Byakuya enter the Neo World Program. She also is a participant of the Final Killing Game, with the other members of Future Foundation.
That's all that I have for now, but I'm definitely down to answering any questions about Hoshi or Akira!!

Omg! Your au so so cool! Is Ayumi gonna stop Junko from destroying the world?! Did Seiko, Mayui Shige and Yui get revived!? Did the events off Corpse Part and Danganronpa start over again!? So many questions!!!!!
!!!!! Aaaaaa tysm!!!! I can answer a few of those things real quick by just going thru a quick timeline! It stays p true to the games aside from a few things!
So!
The first CoPa happens, but the first time through they try using Kibiki’s way out and thus instigate the timeloop with only Satoshi really recognizing it. The game plays out with all the bad endings (including Book of Shadows) until they finally get it right and get out which leads into the Blood Driving bonus chapter of BoS.
The survivors of the initial HH dive are Satoshi, Yoshiki, Naomi, Seiko, Ayumi, and Yuka (and Shig but we’re still working out the exact stuff for him, but he’s not with the main group or known to be alive). So from there the timeline continues, a few months go by and everyone’s feeling the impact of HH in different ways (more mental than physical). Satoshi is a lot more on edge and temperamental than he was, Yoshiki’s got an overprotective streak, Naomi becomes very clingy and jumpy, Seiko has trust issues, Yuka feels like someone is always following her, and Ayumi is obsessed with that school and fixing it/bringing their friends back.
Blood Drive happens next and is pretty similar, the main change however is with the ending. This time, with Seiko alive, she and Satoshi are able to stop him from running back to get Ayumi and they all escape. This time though Ayumi actually does perish at the end—a trade of her life for the memories of everyone who died to be restored. Ayumi is still remembered afterwards, and ik her not being alive conflicts the whole consuming the Nirvana thing but BDBDHHDHD we can’t win all of them so basically it’s just up and destroyed.
So now we’re down to Yoshiki, Satoshi, Yuka, Naomi, and Seiko. They finish off their school year begrudgingly and with such a public event happening in BD, ultimately their story gets out to the press and they gain notoriety as the Kisaragi Five. Satoshi however is struggling a lot with the memory of all the deaths and timeloops so ultimately he ends up deciding to part ways for a while in a type of witness protection—new name, new school, the works, in hopes of healing from the trauma he’s faced. That new persona, of course, is Hajime Hinata!
Meanwhile, using the tragedy that struck the country following BD as a spring board, Hope’s Peak pushes themselves further into the limelight as a school that makes SaviorsTM and can do no wrong. They exploit the situation and end up having a lot of people set their eyes on it for hope in troublesome times—Satoshi/Hajime included. From there, the story of CoPa shifts into that of Danganronpa without any alterations.
Around this time, Ayumi’s spirit actually comes to from her death coma, much to her own confusion. Sachiko tags along with her to help her learn the ins and outs of being a ghost and also clear some things up. She’s not a very strong ghost since most of her spiritual energy went to destroying the Nirvana (so cant be seen or interact with things easily) however she can save up strength to act accordingly. Basically, her final act was one hoping to protect her friends from danger, and now that they’re in danger again, she’s awake. What the danger is? Neither are quite sure.
During the Tragedy, Yoshiki, Naomi, and Seiko end up joining different divisions of the Future Foundation as a means to both help and keep their families safe in their protection. Aiko and Magari end up joining the squad as well. They stopped hearing from Satoshi a year or so prior to the Tragedy, so while they hold out hope, they assume he was also killed. However a bit after the DR3 anime takes place, they are ultimately (and extremely awkwardly) reunited!
Sorry if the formatting is wonky! Tumblr mobile is NOT cooperating. But that’s the basic gist of it!!! There are some other changes (like changing Kuon because why was she Like That good god) but these are the big ones! I hope that clears some things up??? This all started just cuz my friends and I joked that Hajime and Satoshi were similar when we first started DR2 BDHDHHDHDHD

Mikan or miaya (couldn't decide)
Mikan & Izuru friendship headcanons
(Some of these will be related to my own AU.)
(Mikan, after a past full of bullying and then several horrible days spent brainwashed by Junko, is not a confident person.  Izuru, by contrast, doesn't know what confidence isn't.  Mikan is alternately jealous and intrigued...)
Now, examining Izuru, there's a nice thought.  All meek and helpless like an ideal patient.  It's a shame he would never let her.  All those procedures!  So much medical interest!  But at least he'll sometimes share details in her presence.  It actually sounds quite... horrible.  An affront to her core values, which are to heal people, not hack around with their brains for fun -- oh.  She rushes to the bathroom and splashes her face until the tears stop.  She takes her own pulse, counts her breaths.  See.  Order is restored.  The body recovers.  The mind...?
A tap on her door almost sets her off again, but she's been expecting it, she tells herself, reaching down into her lungs and forcing them back into their steady rhythm.  Anyway she's already ready; she slips on her jacket.
Peko is outside, right on time.  "Ready for group?" she asks shyly.
"I... no, I mean, I'm sorry.  Yes."  She scrunches her sleeve.
"No need to be nervous.  Komaeda isn't driving this time."  Peko points a thumb back over her shoulder to where Izuru, thank goodness, is behind the wheel.  He once dropped some hints about his eyesight, which sounded... well, no more thinking about that.  It’s rude to ask, but maybe it'll come up in group...
Peko looks left and right, then extends a hand.  Mikan, after a second, hands over her purse.  No?  Her expression.  Not right?
"I meant, I was offering to, um, hold... never mind."  Peko strains for a slight smile and hands the purse back.  "It's okay.  Let's get going, yes?"
"Let's get therapy," Mikan agrees, with a watery smile of her own.
It's better with friends.  Especially when all those friends are quiet, smart, and in their own ways as damaged as her.  Mikan isn't used to being the patient, but... she's getting better at it.  She's getting better in general.
It's nice to think that even Izuru is hurting.  No, that's not what she means.  It's nice to know that everyone has weaknesses.  She, who used to be all weakness, and Izuru, who seemed all strength.  And Nagito... she's coming to see that there's more even to that guy.  Although it's strange how he's changed lately, she reflects, sliding into the back seat and noticing how much better his colour looks.  More energy, doesn't get as winded, even gaining a little weight... she'd never dared pry and still doesn't, but... she can't help suspecting that has something to do with Izuru too.
As long as he's getting help from somewhere, that's good.  Mikan would rather have been the one to give it, to have a lovely biddable patient all to herself, but... she's working on that too.
If she's not helpless, she thinks, securing her seatbelt with a satisfying snick, maybe she doesn't need others to be, either.
That's a nice thought.

I know the algebraic expression of L-O-V-E [Kamunami/Hinanami & Yandere!Chiaki] - Chapter 2

Chapter 2
The sun rose over the horizon and first things first, Hajime stormed out of his cottage, skipping breakfast, and immediately greeting the awakened Chiaki AI in the control room. Pressing the power button, her face flashed back on screen. “Good morning!” He spouted excited, to which Chiaki replied: “Good morning, Hajime. Did you sleep well?”
Again, that feeling of automation, when she spoke. More like a service robot than a real human being. For now, Hajime decided to not let it bother him, just gulping down that bitter aftertaste. “Ah yes, I did. What about you? Do programs sleep as well? I mean I know a computer can enter sleep mode but… does a program need to sleep?”
Processing that question for a second. “I can if you want me to. I usually enter power-save mode, to conserve my energy and process all the new information I’ve gotten. You could call it: ‘Sleep-Like’.”
Another day almost passed away with these two just chatting with each other, until Hajime got reminded that his human functions do still call for him. “Ah, my stomach is growling. Guess I forgot to eat all day.” He admitted. “That’s bad. You should have at least three meals a day, Hajime.” The program lectured him.
Being reminded of the real Chiaki, she usually slept through the day, forgetting to eat or even breath sometimes. This was really a different entity than the Chiaki he knew. “Thank you for reminding me. I better get going and grab something to eat. Just in case.” Leaving the room with a short wave of his hand, as the machine returned to its sleeping-mode.
During a late lunch, Hajime decided to ping Izuru inside his brain again.
“Hey, got a second?”
“It’s not like I could go anywhere, you should know that.”
“Yeah yeah. About the Chiaki AI you programmed…”
“You aren’t happy with her. I know that. She’s too robotic for you. Too static. Too much of a machine and not enough human.”
That was exactly it. Hajime didn’t even need to confirm that.
“Can’t you make her more human? Give her emotions? Some memories at least, from our days at school?”
“You know the risk of that already, or do I need to remind you? Even the smallest bit of despair could reawaken the virus and manifest in her.”
“I know… what about… just the positive memories and emotions then? Please, something at least, one speck of how she used to be.”
Silence, even Izuru had to think things through sometimes.
“Very well. I could give her some humanity back, but don’t expect me to fix things for you, when they turn bad.”
“You would? Really? Thank you so much!” Hajime was thrilled even at the smallest possibility of getting back the Chiaki he lost not only once but twice.
“Don’t worry, I won’t bother you any further with that. It’s just…”
“I know.” Izuru cut the conversation short, before Hajime finished his lunch in a better mood than he had started it with.
Not wasting any time, Hajime hurried back over to where Chiaki was supposed to be. “Hey, Chiaki! I’m back with good news!” Shouting, all juiced up. “We gonna update you a little bit. We restore some of our memories together and give you actual genuine feelings.” He was really hyped up about that opportunity.
“Oh? Thank you. But with ‘we’ you mean, my creator, Izuru Kamukura will do so, right?” Hitting the mark. “Well… yeah. He does the work; I can’t really do much. Sorry.” Confessing to his shortcomings in the field of programming.
In a mere second, Hajime closed and reopened his eyes, as they had turned crimson red in the split second between – Izuru was now fronting. “I need to shut you down first before I could make any sort of adjustments to your program.” Turning off the machine and getting back to the mechanical clicking of keys being pressed down with insane speed.
“Here. She now has her memories from Hope’s Peak back, as well as emotional parameters installed. This should be more than enough. I will not enhance her software any further, it could cause complications.”
And with that, he switched out again, his eyes returning to the emerald green from before. “Ah- Thank you, Izuru.” The computer booting up again while he was readjusting himself to the dark room. He always felt a bit dizzy after being forced into consciousness so suddenly.
Impatiently tapping his fingers on the console, as it sprang back to life. “Hey, Chiaki! Remember me better now?”
“Hajime Hinata, Hope’s Peak Reserve Course Student.” Were the first words he had to hear from the freshly improved AI. That stung, even worse than before. “Hey, are you sure you gave her feelings?” He asked Izuru again, just to be sure.
“Give her a second to read the code.”
Doing so, it took mere seconds, before a familiar sounding: “Hajime!” could be heard from the speakers. “Hey Chiaki. Welcome back.” Giving her a warm welcome. “Hajime, I could never tell you that until now, but from the very day you vanished, I missed you.” Chiaki feeling much more human now.
“Yeah… sorry about that. You know what happened afterwards. I probably should have told you.”
“It’s alright. What happened, happened.” Letting him know she was forgiving him for his stupidity back then.
“It’s important that I can see you again now, even if it’s just through a screen.” Finally, seemingly returning the feelings Hajime has poured into her so far. “I’m glad too.”
Once more this day was spend chatting forth and back without any inconveniences interrupting their peaceful conversation.
“Well, it’s getting late again. I at least shouldn’t miss out on sleep, right?” Getting ready to get going, but Chiaki was stopping him. “Wait. You’re already leaving? But what about me?” That was new, Hajime returned to the screen, coming close.
“Well, I told you already, humans do need sleep. Don’t be sad, I’ll be back again tomorrow.” Promising her so, the girl pounded. “No, I wanna play games with you all night. Can’t you stay with me at least a little longer?”
“I guess a little longer couldn’t hurt, but only an hour or two, alright?” Making sure to not neglect his health too much. However, these one or two hours quickly turned into half the night, as Hajime was getting more and more tired as time passed.
Letting out a long yawn, he almost fell asleep on the spot. “Hey, Chiaki. I know it’s fun to play games and all, but I should really hit the hay now.” Getting ready to leave for good this time around. “Good night, Hajime. Please come back here tomorrow at your earliest convenience, okay?” Making sure he’d promise before letting him go and swapping into energy saving mode herself.
This Chiaki felt much more human now, almost like talking to the real thing. He really had to thank Izuru for that. Despite being tired, Hajime couldn’t fall asleep right away, as he was staring at his cottage ceiling, smiling like a dork.
“She’s back. She’s finally back and this time, I won’t let her slip through my fingers again. I’ll protect you, Chiaki.”
Izuru didn’t say anything to that, but he could already read the signs, that this wouldn’t end well.
