The difference between Inkheart and Inkdeath are literally insane.

The bad guy in Inkheart is like… a local mafia boss and his handful of cronies. Oh no, he put us in the animal stables and people talk about that he enjoys killing but we don’t ever see it and the worst thing he does is giving Mo a cut on the face and putting people in cages I guess.

The bad guys in Inkdeath, however, are the ruler of the land but also Death herself and we desperately fight against destiny. Every other chapter there’s a fight and people get brutally killed. We are about to scatter Mos fucking kneecaps. Mind torture while experiencing actual torture in the underwater dungeon. Everything is out to kill you but with everything going on death is kinda the least of our worries??

La gente non si sconvolge più dello schifo, piuttosto sgrana gli occhi davanti all'onestà, alla bellezza, all'educazione.

Perché la società dà per scontato il primo e per inesistenti le seconde.

Questo accade con secoli di ripetizioni mentali in cui elabori la realtà secondo un solo costrutto:

"Tanto è così, non cambia niente, bisogna adattarsi".

Ormai ci siamo il 2024 è alle porte. Dopo un periodo già complicato vivremo ancor più faticosamente questi ultimi giorni, giorni che salutano l’anno ormai passato. Come da un cilindro sono risbucati fuori in questi giorni, tutte le incongruenze, le paure, gli irrisolti, le fragilità, i conflitti e tutto ti ha di nuovo travolto, apparentemente infragilito, spiazzato. Il 2024 sarà l’anno del giro di boa, quello in cui si paleserà per tutti la necessità di un risveglio interiore, di un lavoro spirituale. La cruna dell’ago assottiglia ancor di più il suo passaggio, rendendo ancor più stretto il suo varco, costringendo tutti al cambiamento. Hai sentito di nuovo il fiato corto in questi giorni, la paura dell’oblio, il terrore degli abissi, il raschiarti la pelle e il cuore dagli irrisolti. Ti sei di nuovo sentito fagocitato, vulnerabile, in balia, stanco, arreso.

I cicli si stanno chiudendo per mano a quelle parti di te che credevi appartenenti al passato. Gli ultimi giorni sono stati la chiosa di un periodo che segna un passaggio fondamentale tra ciò che era e ciò che sarà. Il freddo che ti ha gelato e il caldo che ti faceva bruciare, erano adattamento ed evoluzione. I primi mesi dell’anno saranno fondamentali, potranno essere portale e base di lancio, definisci bene gli obiettivi e le prospettive, non arretrare di un passo dal lavoro interiore che hai cominciato, incanala bene ogni respiro affinché sia direzione, energia e luminosa luce, affinché tu possa sorprenderti finalmente e veder dipanare le fitte tenebre che ti hanno lungamente avvolto. Parole d’ordine da non scordare: morbidezza, inarrestabilità, profondità e fiducia.
