Emergency Donation

Hey everyone, I'm making this my pinned post. My roommate just gave me an ultimatum in regards to paying off the back payments of what I owe for rent. I'm looking for $1,263.21 USD by March 31.

I messed up.

I miscalculated by a lot and my bank account is suddenly negative, even after my paycheck.

I somehow need to find 700$ for rent, plus i need to get some groceries and my meds. And I need something for ubers when I get out of work too late for the bus.

I'm waiting on approval for food stamps, I'm doing the best I can given my circumstances. I'm picking up as many extra hours as I can.

The update on things is that the housemate is financially flat-lined. If 'thoughts and prayers' were actual currency then I'd be covered for a decade's worth of rent by this point.

For those who don't know: the housemate has become mobility disabled due to a life-altering injury, and then there's the other medical conditions that took the opportunity to go "hiiii, we're heeeere!" They're in a care facility at this point--they've been there since the beginning of December 2023.

I cannot cover the rent on my own, in its entirety, because I do not pull in enough income to do so. I've depleted my tiny buffer and have no other resources. Family is unable to help any more than they already do. Being Autistic, and trying to handle all my Things while dealing with this on my own is making it very difficult to maintain what little 'cool-headedness' I've had in my day to day. I am drowning under the pressure and therapy and meds can only get me so far.

Please, please help.

hey y’all, i’ve never properly introduced myself on here but i’m a 23yo trans woman living in the most rapidly gentrifying, most expensive city in the south, and i’m currently in a really tight financial situation that could get me evicted. i recently sustained a work injury that put me out for a few days, upon which i immediately came down with the flu, which brought my time spent away from work to a week. this came back to bite me today when my paycheck came in and it was $225 short of what i need to pay the rent, which is due on the 1st. on top of this, my housemate is moving out and the only person i’ve been able to find to replace them can’t move in until may, meaning the $700 april payment for their room is hanging over my head on top of my own payment. normally i would doordash for the extra money but that’s been getting me nothing lately bc nobody can afford that shit rn. overall i need $925 to help me not get evicted, money that i can’t come up with on a line cook paycheck. i don’t really have a following so please share this as far as you can, i’m really scared and anything would be appreciated, thank you.

I try not to put this shit on here but I am drowning so I’m asking for help. I've been homeless since the end of March, and FINALLY found a place to live!

The security deposit is quite a lot at once and im still $2000 short. If I can't come up with that by July 20th I lose the place and the 1k I already put down to reserve it.

Plus my catalytic converter fell off my car and its currently in my trunk. But priorities.

I can't lose this place. Its perfect. Its the only one I've found near work. Im out of options.

I really don’t like asking for help, but in this situation, it seems like my only option. I’ve been off work for awhile due to some serious health issues and declining mental health issues accompanying that as well. As well as missing days after returning to work making my paychecks come out to barely anything. My family has helped out as much as they can, but times are rough for everyone right now and it’s been hard. I’ve had most things covered over the last month by helpful friends and family members, but as the month comes to an end, I’m desperately needing help with my car insurance, phone bill, and rent for the beginning of September. My car insurance policy has already lapsed and I need the money to get it reinstated as well as money to pay rent and to keep my phone from being disconnected. If anyone could help me survive the end of this month, I would be eternally grateful. Next month will be better, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, I just have to make it there.
