To be fair, the relatable everyman character isn't always a Perfectly Generic White Dude. Sometimes the relatable everyman character is an Extremely Specific White Dude and the narrative just acts like these are universal experiences he's having in spite of the fact that he's functionally some kind of space alien.

As a creator it's important to remember that people viciously attacking media because they personally didn't find it relatable is almost exclusively the province of professional critics and ultra-niche weirdos on the Internet. They can seem omnipresent because they're so vocal, but in practice, when confronted with a piece of media so intensely personal that it vanishes up its own arse with self-referentiality, 90% of people will just shrug and assume the reason they don't get it is because it's too deep for them.

Neutral Soft: aesthetic - tea - mood boards - leather bound fancy journals - good handwriting
Chaotic Soft: posts mood boards to procrastinate writing - doesn't follow their own advice - reads your work but forgets to tell you -likes to write coffee shop au's or other fluffy romances
Lawful Disaster: gives good writing advice but says some variant of f*** 50 times to explain it - smart 'texts you at 4am to ramble about world building -probably writes fan fic
Neutral Disaster: never texts with proper grammar - most likely a college student - writes at 4am and is unable to write at any other time - coffee with too much sugar
Chaotic Disaster: word count = 0 - they look like they're about to collapse at any moment - hoodies - energy drinks and death
