no but the way death was almost an indulgence for bill and frank like. and i don't just mean that their chosen weapon was a bottle of wine or that they got to spend their last few moments in their bed in their home in each other's arms knowing how loved they are, but i just mean the indulgence of a death of old age on their own terms in a world that's basically all death. it may have been tragic to watch but it was their happy ending.

#arya stark #one of those /wtf Ned/ moments #then people act like she invented misogyny cause she was like /uuuhhhhh no thanks that's not me/#/Arya is masculine/ and she's literally just a child who has interests outside of her patriarchy-assigned role #the way people read this and then demonize Arya for not silently conforming like people expect her to...#that's the ingrained misogyny from being socialized in a patriarchal society speaking babes 😭#cannot stress enough how Arya is just an average little girl and what makes her behavior stand out is their society's strict gender norms #her life + learning almost entirely revolves around the fact that she is being raised to be a wife and people resent her for wanting more :#she is NINE in AGoT and her parents are discussing her refinement because /In a few years she will be of an age to marry/#the way misogyny is explored in Arya's story is actually so brilliant and well-written (+ underappreciated) though #we feel the full weight of how restrictive their society is through her POV and get the experiences of lower-class women too #which is why it's so significant that George wrote her based on feminists who realized they wanted more than becoming wives/housewives #she's one of his key characters who will /change the world/ but people think he's sticking her on a boat bc she isn't feminine enough 😭#thank god he's writing the books and not any of these reductive hacks who thinks misogyny is subversive 🙏🏾#sidenote: would've loved to see this from her POV to get her feelings when he said this cause I'm sure it doesn't match Ned's perception #considering he views her main issues as being stubborn/difficult while we know about the self-esteem issues she has

the #1 rule of posting art on the internet is that there will always be a 14 year old with 50k followers creating things that you can only dream of, and while it's fine to privately feel discouraged or like you're behind, if you make this their problem or take it out on them you need to go outside and identify 4 species of birds before you sit back down at your computer

#mine #i am somebody who used to get really really really hard on myself when comparing mine to other's art #it is the hardest thing in the world to stop and i really. really genuinely do understand the frustration that comes with not #being able to create art at a level you feel you should be creating it at. and how seeing others do it can compound that feeling #but you cannot take it out on other people especially people younger than you who you feel are more advanced #you have all the time in the world to refine your skill and it isnt a competition (even if social media makes it feel that way)

I challenged myself to draw the NEO TWEWY cast during the time of the original game starting with Nagi 💜

First and foremost I wanted a design that could stand alongside the OG cast and capture the fashion of the time period.#2. It took me a couple of iterations to really differentiate her silhouette from any of the Hachiko Gang.#3. I kept her mid-length sleeves from her canon outfit. The laces on her shoes are also a reference to her hair ribbons.#4. I love the cat beanie both because it’s very 2000s and it reflects the game’s cat motif.#That being said I am still refining this design. I want it to look a bit less sporty and more geeky to fit Nagi.#I’m also figuring out what to do with her hair cause it is a bit busy around her collar area.#But short hair makes her look too similar to RG Shiki so I’m still brainstorming. Feel free to leave suggestions if you have them!

funny enough, yes! I've shown my first-ever versions of Franny, but I never got to show you her beta version! DROPS HER ON YOU!!

She was just a normal villager lady by then, but it didn't fit my vision of her :3 It didn't take long for me to capture the vibes I wanted for her, I just refined her shapes through time.
