Kirishima Eijirou’s daily shenanigans!
Summary: You work in a little coffee shop (secretly owned by your uncle Crimson Riot), which resides next to Red Riot and Dynamight’s agency. Needless to say, the Crimson Riot signature on the wall lures in the red haired hero on the first day after opening.
Long story short, this a really cute story about a barista and his favorite customer falling in love and becoming a couple. (The only problem is that Red Riot is a himbo and he does not realize you two are actually dating. But that’s a problem for another day.)
Genre: Comedy, strangers to lovers, fluff, hurt/comfort, slice of life
Estimated chapters: Around 10?
Warnings: Swear Words, one or two chapters with smut but they will be skippable, mentions of injuries, depression, blood, fight scenes, one or two chapters of angst around the end but it’s mostly just fluff and shits and giggles. New warnings on every chapter!
About The Reader: SHE/HER, related to Crimson Riot, has red hair but it’s dyed, not natural. She has a really cool quirk and went to hero school when she was young, but she doesn’t work as a hero.
This story is a spin-off to Bakugou Katsuki’s Daily Shenanigans but you don’t need to read that story to understand this one.
Also, English isn’t my first language so please be kind, I’m trying my best!

Chapter 1 - A wild Red Riot appears!
“Welcome!”
A lovely jingle announces Kirishima’s grand entrance to the brand new coffee shop he decided to visit on this lovely afternoon.
It’s manly to try new things, you know; the old coffee shop he used go to might be nice and cosy but how is Kirishima supposed to know if it’s the best coffee shop or not if he doesn’t try the other places in the area? Right?
… Right?
Okay, Kirishima has a confession to make.
He doesn’t care how the coffee tastes like at this place. He really doesn’t. The only thing he cares about is Crimson Riot’s signature framed on the wall.
That’s why he’s here, the traitor.
“Ahh, hello!” Kirishima scratches the back of his head shyly; he doesn’t even look at the poor barista, he’s too busy looking around, searching for the sacred signature. He feels blessed to be able to step into this beautiful, crimson colored coffee shop which conveniently opened almost next to from his agency. Well, his and Katsuki’s agency, but that doesn’t matter.
“It’s on the left side, darling. Do not touch the glass, I just cleaned it.” The barista giggles and… oh hello, that giggle was absolutely adorable?! But first of all, what does she mean he can’t touch the glass?! He wants to touch the glass!
Kirishima makes a pouty face, clearly heartbroken by the sudden plot twist; he’s so close to Crimson Riot right now, yet so far away…
“Okay, you can touch the glass. Go on. You have five seconds. One… two…” The barista counts and Kirishima sprints to the little framed signature and does what he does the best; act like a fifteen years old fanboy seeing naked boobs for the first time. Man, boobs are nothing compared to the thrill he feels right now; Crimson Riot is a legend, no one has seen the man for decades, he’s manly and mysterious and Kirishima really likes that about him; sometimes he wonders if Crimson Riot is real at all; that man is so perfect, kind and chivalrous, he’s everything Kirishima wants to be when grows up… well, technically, he is 25 and he doesn’t have too much “growing up” going on anymore but he still feels like he’s twelve. He also acts like he’s twelve. So yeah, he wants to be like Crimson Riot when he grows up. He’s not there yet.
“Would you like to have a coffee or salivating over a framed signature is enough to start your day off with a kick?” The barista suddenly appears behind him and Kirishima jumps.
Well, that’s awkward.
“Yeah, I’m just about to… oh hi.”
To all the Gods and deities up in Heaven, thank you. - Kirishima mumbles as he takes in the beautiful sight in front of him. No, he is not talking about the beautiful signature on the wall this time; that one was demoted to the second most beautiful sight in the world.
“Good morning, sir.” The barista giggles again, and Kirishima swears an angel descended from above in front him.
Kirishima is known to be a ladies man; he loves ladies, he adores them, he cherishes them, he wants to tell every single one of them how beautiful they are; but this one is on another level. This lady here is the most perfect human being Kirishima has ever seen. This lady is the type of lady Kirishima would never have the balls to actually woo. Not like he ever had the balls to woo anyone, to be honest, he’s more like the funny uncle who flirts with everyone but no one takes him seriously and will probably end up alone with 6 dogs 8 cats, 3 bearded dragons because they are really manly and a house worth of Crimson Riot merch. He already has the latter and he’s working on the rest.
“Is the red hair a part of the work uniform or do you just happen to have a good taste?”
Why did he say that?! Why?!
“If that was supposed to be your way of flirting, you have a long way to go, Mr. Red Riot.” She grins and oh my god, Kirishima is in pieces. Literally. He’s quite sure he accidentally hardened his arms under his super tight-fit turtleneck and the fabric just shred to pieces.
At least it’s not something else that hardened…
Eijirou, no.
Do not go there. Do. Not.
“Ahh, you know me.”
“Our staff room window looks at the private parking lot of your agency. There is a massive poster with your faces by the VIP entrance. I need to say, you look much nicer with your hair down though.”
Why is this angel standing so close to him?! What did he do to deserve this beautiful sight?!
“If that was your way of flirting… it completely worked.” Kirishima admits with a crimson face.
You get it? Cuz he’s in Crimson Coffee? Next to Crimson Riot’s signature?
… Nevermind.
“I don’t mean to break your heart so soon, but I wasn’t flirting with you.”
“Y/N, are you bullying our precious customers again? I already told you… oh hello there, young man!” The random lady went from a loud yell to the most pleasant customer service voice he’s ever heard in five seconds. Well that’s a talent. “That’s Red Riot honey, give him a friend and family card, will ya?”
“I guess that’s alright.” The barista, Y/N, rolls her eyes playfully and gives him the little card. “Now order, I’m getting bored.”
And Kirishima does.
Kirishima orders 13 coffees even though he only needs one just to keep this beautiful angel entertained. He gets 2 massive coffee holders with 6 coffees in each and gives the spare one to Y/N with a shy smile on his face, because he’s a gentleman.
“You know I can drink our coffee for free, right?” Y/N raises her brow with a mischievous smile on her beautiful face and he might not have a shot with her after he embarrassed himself in every way possible, but it was completely worth it for that smile.
Kirishima made a great decision today by trying out new things.
Being blasted out of the window by Katsuki after he arrived late, juggling 12 cups of coffee while spilling half of them in Katsuki’s office was absolutely worth it.
(He also landed in the parking lot and was able to see Y/N in the staff room laughing at him. Best day ever.”

“Does he come here often or was that a special occasion? Come on, tell me! Please!”
You have all the respect for heroes but this Red Riot guy… is an absolute himbo. In the best way.
First of all, he has no idea how handsome he is. He takes your hand in a begging way, trying to get information out of you and you really need to concentrate to not show any kind of emotion on your face; thankfully, your family is blessed with amazing poker faces. The biggest master of them is your uncle who’s -surprise!- is actually the person Red Riot is asking about right now with perfect puppy eyes. He was able to keep up his mysterious persona for decades even though he’s also an absolute himbo in real life.
Second of all, Red Riot embarrassed himself at least ten times this week but somehow he always leaves with a proud smile like this is what he wanted to do in the first place.
Personally, you really want to smack this man in the head and tell him to be ashamed of himself because by the look of it, his self-esteem is so low he thinks this is just him being himself. Which isn’t true. Red Riot might be a himbo, but he’s also a well respected himbo… you mean hero, and he should definitely act a bit more… confident.
“So what do I get if I tell you this information, sir?” You ask cheekily; you can’t help it, okay? Red Riot is a handsome guy. And he’s also really sweet and gentle. Who would NOT flirt with him?
“I would like to say my number on a napkin but I feel like you would use it as a filter for the coffee.” Red sighs dramatically.
“That’s highly unlikely.” You retort; he looks up at you with eyes full of hope and you already hate yourself for doing this to him, but… “The napkin would melt into the coffee and it would be absolutely disgusting. I can’t serve that.”
“You are such a heartbreaker, miss Y/N! I would like to speak to your manager!” He yells, fake-offended, and you can’t help but laugh.
“Just order your bloody coffee and leave, Red. Seeing you being blasted through the window because you were late is really fun but I kinda hate listening to the drilling noise when your window gets fixed. It ruins my chi.”
“You’re a chi.”
“Well that’s just rude, sir. I might need to ask you to leave.” You giggle, and you can’t help but realize how the air just changed around you two; there is definitely something there, a tension you can’t describe but it’s not uncomfortable. It’s kinda nice to banter with him like this.
“You already did. But you also told me to order first.” Red retorts with a massive smirk on his face and you kinda want to put him into your pocket and keep him in there.
Finally, Red orders and he’s just about to leave when you decide to give him the tiny present you got him.
Yes, you got him a present. Shut up.
“Hey, Red!”
“Yeah?” He looks back with a massive grin on his face.
“I got something for the most handsome customer in this shop.” Red’s face contorts into a frown at that. Would it be rude to kiss your customer’s cheeks to give him some confidence? It’s just a kiss on the cheek, no biggie. Just one kiss. Come on.
“Lucky gal.” He mumbles, trying to fake a smile, but failing miserably.
“I’m talking about you, you himbo.” You laugh and run to the back; it’s a signed Crimson Riot poster. Your uncle was more than happy to throw one at you when you told him about Red Riot being your loyal customer; he’s kinda obsessed with the guy since his first appearance in the sports festival. Long story. He loves to be loved.
Kirishima pales as he rolls the poster out, his eyes misty by the time he rolls it out completely.
“This is a limited edition poster from 30 years ago. One of the first posters… what the hell, man…”
“Look closer.” You wink and Red starts to cry like a baby. He’s so fucking adorable, it’s ridiculous.
“Watching you grow up made me realize why I was a hero for so long. I’m proud of you. Stay manly! Crimson Riot.” Red mutters under his snotty nose. “Y/N, can I marry you?”
This man will be the death of you.
“No.”
“Okay. Thank you. Bye.” Red mumbles with red rimmed eyes. Working in your uncle’s secret coffee shop was the best decision of your life.
“See you tomorrow, himbo.” You giggle and the redhead disappears; one day, you’ll tell him that all the flirting you do is actually serious but that day is not today. You really want to see him gain some self-respect by himself before you shower him with praises every day. You can only hope you don’t ruin your chances by playing with him for too long but that’s a problem for later; for now, you are just happy to be around this mysterious, funny man.
… Next Chapter!

“You probably think I’m a weakling. I promise I’ll be fine soon. I’m so sorry.” I let out in between sobs. Today’s work-study mission has been particularly debilitating. It wasn’t the broken ribs or the bruises covering my body, it wasn’t even the busted lip, those were all things recovery girl had fixed quite easily. The one thing a forehead kiss from the old woman couldn’t fix was my mind. Thankfully Mirko and I had been able to rescue everyone, however, the victims had been women and children, something about seeing children hurt like that had taken a toll on me. I knew I’d be fine, I just needed to let it out. The rabbit hero had noticed my distraught state after the mission as well, only saying I needed to toughen up if I ever expected to make it as a hero. An observation that had only rubbed salt on the metaphorical wound.
“I wasn’t thinking anything of the sort. All I was thinking was that pretty girls should never cry.” His words sounded sincere, and I was sure that if I were to look up I’d be met with his warm gaze. “Maybe she was right, I’m not cut out for this.” was all I could answer with, my mentor’s words still running through my mind. “HEY!” the redhead’s angry voice boomed through the open space. I couldn’t hold myself back and instinctively looked up to see what had caused the sudden shift in his energy. Sure enough, his soft gaze met my teary face.
“Cry as much as you want, in fact, I encourage it, you’re only human after all, but please never talk down on yourself like that again. (name)… you’re amazing. You’re everything.” His voice was breaking, a complete one-eighty compared to his previous brawny voice. I felt the need to defend my own self-loathing, to explain how I was right to believe I was a failure as a hero. “Kirishima I-“ “You’re the best of us. If someone as kind-hearted as you isn’t cut out to be a hero then who the hell is? So cry. Do what you feel you need to do to deal with your feelings but don’t look down on yourself. You’ll be an amazing hero someday, you’ll see. I believe in you.” His voice was still shaky, but his message was clear. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for making you worry.” I cried out, my eyes filling with tears once more. The glossy look in his eyes made my chest ache. Why do I always make everyone worry? Kirishima is upset because of me…
The boy in front of me instantly became a nervous mess, he searched for something to help wipe my tears with only to find nothing. So he did the only thing he could think of at the moment and took his shirt off and handed it to me. “Here. I just put it on after dinner so it’s clean I promise!” His sweet attempt at comfort made me smile against my will. “I’ll get it dirty… Kiri, I couldn’t.” I explained only for the redhead to shake his head. “Bakubro taught the other guys and me how to do laundry properly so I can wash it. Don’t worry, you need it so use it.” He spoke and flashed a toothy grin my way.
“You really are the sun huh?” I absentmindedly let out. Kirishima always lit up my days, He was always there to pick me up when I felt defeated, and was always there to share moments of joy with me, how could I not see him as the sun? A bright and powerful light. Maybe Killua was on to something when he said Gon shines so bright that sometimes he had to look away, I understand what he meant perfectly now. “I’ll be whatever you need me to be (name), for as long as you need me to be.” he let out as he took a seat next to me on the large rock I was sitting on. Perhaps I hit my head too hard during today’s fight with the villains, but that sounded like a confession of sorts.
When I skipped dinner and snuck out of the dorms to have some alone time to cry out my feelings I never expected Kirishima to come find me, but then again I should’ve known better. Kirishima was always there to rescue me from myself, like a true hero, my hero. “Did you eat?” I questioned the boy, who seemed surprisingly fine despite his lack of a shirt. “Why? You’re offering to take me out?” He joked causing me to laugh. “Sure Red. But let’s go Saturday, our curfew is soon so we should get back to the dorms so you can eat something.” I reasoned. Yet the way he looked at me with those wide bright eyes could’ve convinced me to stay out with him all night, basking in the moonlight. “Saturday! It’s a date then!” He confirmed with a nervous smile as he stood up and offered me his hand to help me stand up.
“Fatgum is going to be so mad at you when you show up sniffling to your work-study tomorrow.” I giggled as we walked back to the dorms. “Nah, he adores me! Also, I’m crazy strong I won’t catch a cold you’ll see!” The redhead joked back. “Kiri… you literally have goosebumps on your arms, you dork.” I instinctively ran my hand over one of his arms, hoping the friction from my skin would help warm him a bit. The unexpected action caused him to blush, I figured it was due to the proximity and how out of the blue it was for me to touch him like this. “I’ll be fine. Getting sick isn’t manly.” He defended with a smile. “Sure it isn’t Red.” I whispered back. The whole point of caressing his arm with my hand was so that my body would warm him up, yet why was it my body that felt as if it was on fire?
Minutes went by and we were finally out of the clearing and closer to the dorms. “Those assholes who hurt you better hope they never get out of prison or they’ll have to deal with me.” Kirishima suddenly spoke, his gruff tone distracting me from my thoughts. “Honestly don’t worry about it, it wasn’t that bad, you should see how some of the other heroes and their interns ended up.” I couldn’t help but chuckle at his concern, he was always so sweet. “(name).” He earnestly spoke as he made a sudden stop and turned to look my way. “I’ll always worry about you. I know you’re amazing and can handle yourself, I just hate seeing you hurt. And I hate that someone would lay a hand on you.” his voice was soft and his gaze was piercing as if he could see right through me.
“It’s part of the job Kiri. I’m going to get hurt sometimes, and so are you, we all will.” I reminded him only for him to shake his head. “Then I’ll work hard as a hero. I’ll work so hard so that villains like those you fought disappear and you never have to get hurt again.” That was all he said, his voice was determined, not a single doubt behind his intentions so all I did was nod. Everyone knew that when Eijiro Kirishima set his mind to something there was no stopping him. I had to get my emotions under control because why the hell was my heart racing because of the way he looked at me?
Sure enough the following day the redhead was sniffling, although not fully sick it was obvious that it could develop into a cold if he didn’t take care of himself properly. “Wow, you’re really going all out here. Do you think you’ll finish and still make it in time to your work-study?” Jiro asked as she watched me toss some corn in a pot, the last touch for the chicken soup I was making for Kirishima. “Yeah, I’ll be fine Mirko’s agency is nearby anyway.” I spoke as I transferred the tea I had made for him into a thermo. “Wow (name)… what’s all this?” Sero asked as he walked into the kitchen. “Kirishima walked her back to the dorms last night and now she feels guilty that he’s sick so she’s trying to take care of him.” Jiro explained, she was still annoyed at the boy for having broken my heart earlier that year, not that he was aware of my old crush anyway. Thankfully I was over it now and could act normal around him and Mina, I was glad they never found out, their friendship meant the world to me.
Sero gulped, surprised by my attentiveness toward the redhead. Of course, I didn’t know it at the time, I wasn’t aware that he was shocked I could care so much for someone other than him, in the same capacity that I once worried for him. Unbeknownst to me he had recently begun wondering if maybe he and Mina were better off as friends, his mind kept circling back to me and the way I would look at him as if he hung the stars, a look he realized was no longer reserved for him. He was well aware of how toxic it was to want someone else while being in a relationship, especially when the girl he was pinning for was a good friend of his girlfriend. Yet he was selfish, all he needed was a push, a confirmation of my feelings, to fully pursue the relationship his heart suddenly longed for.
“Are you sure Kirishima will be into that?” The ravenette questioned, no real concern in his tone but jealousy filled his heart with every passing minute. “Why wouldn’t he?” Jiro scoffed in defense. “Yeah, why wouldn’t he? He loves food.” I spoke as I turned back to face my two friends. “Well.. you know what he’s like, maybe he’ll think it isn’t manly to be taken care of by a girl. I don’t know.” Sero defended awkwardly causing Jiro to roll her eyes. “Damn. You really know how to hit where it hurts huh Sero.” I replied as I began to second guess my actions and turn the stove off as the soup was now ready. All I wanted was to keep him healthy. “Anyone would love to have (name) take care of them, she’s the loveliest!” Jiro defended, a scowl taking over her usual indifferent demeanor. “Hey no that’s not what I mean I was just… you know bringing up how Kirishima might not be into that!” The sable-eyed boy argued as he placed his hands up in defense.
“Be into what?” The redhead asked as he walked into the kitchen area, his blonde best friend standing next to him. “(name) made you tea and soup so that you won’t get sicker. Sero here thinks you won’t think it’s manly to be taken care of by a girl.” Jiro explained as she gave the ravenette a death glare. “That’s ridiculous. Shitty hair loves food, and (name) is the one who sucks the least at cooking out of all you extras!” Bakugo defended causing me to smile. “Katsuki you like my cooking?” I asked out loud, excited at the compliment from the grumpy boy. “SHUT UP!” the blonde yelled back, but I could see the blush on his cheeks. “(name), thank you. You didn’t have to but I appreciate it, I’ll make sure to finish everything!” the beaming redhead assured, only to correct himself when the blonde next to him cleared his throat. “We’ll finish everything I promise!” With his toothy smile in full display, Kirishima sure was lovely these days, or maybe he always was.
“Why would you worry her, that’s not cool.” Jiro asked Sero, truly appalled by his weird behavior, usually he was the most laid back and understanding out of their friend group. He and I had always been the best of friends who constantly encouraged one another so she couldn’t understand why he was being so negative with this situation, and honestly neither could I. “I was just looking out for (name)’s feelings, but I’m glad it all worked out.” He clarified, only to be met with a sadistic chuckle from Bakugo and a scoff from Jiro. “You don’t have to worry about (name)’s feelings. That’s what you’ve got Mina for. I’ll take care of (name) and whatever she’s feeling.” Kirishima spoke as he gave Sero a stern look, the tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife. “It smells amazing! Is (name) cooking?” Denki asked as he too entered the kitchen. “Not for you dunce face!” Bakugo growled causing me to laugh.
An hour later I was dashing out of the dorms in my hero costume, eager to get to Mirko’s agency, only to be stopped by someone grabbing my wrist and turning me to face them. I was instantly met with none other than the loveliest ruby eyes. “Let me walk you?” Kirishima pleaded. However, I couldn’t help but be distracted by the knitted sweater and scarf he was wearing on top of his hero costume. “You covered up?” I wondered as I took in the complete difference in appearance. “Yeah, our date is tomorrow so I didn’t want to risk getting sick and having to miss it. I’ll have to take off the sweater for patrol but I wanted to try and be in my best health for you.” He admitted. I couldn’t fight the smile back that was caused by his confession. I wasn’t sure what we were yet but I was certain of one thing. Kirishima… he likes me… and I like him.
“I- umm” I shook my head, unsure of how to respond, my body felt as if it were on fire, but it was a surprisingly comforting feeling. “Fatgum’s agency is on the complete opposite side of Mirko’s.” I stated, my eyes never leaving his. I noticed his smile drop a bit, and realized he must’ve thought I was rejecting him. “But… we should walk together as much as we can, and maybe once our patrols end we could… I don’t know text each other and meet up to walk back to the dorms… together?” My suggestion seemed to do the trick as his eyes went wide again as he nodded in agreement and interlocked our fingers. Once again my body was on fire, a feeling I was beginning to enjoy. It was warm, just like the moments we shared.
unbeknownst to me someone else had overheard our conversation and was left wondering how things could have shifted so much and when this development began. Sero had been convinced I held feelings for him so he couldn’t for the life of him understand why I now looked at Kirishima, not like he hung the stars but as if he were the center of the universe, my own personal sun. He felt betrayed by his jealousy, we were his friends so he should be happy for us right? and yet he couldn’t stop thinking about what would’ve happened had he realized his feelings earlier.
When Saturday finally rolled around the onyx-eyed boy watched in jealousy as Kirishima and I left for our date, he couldn’t help but grow even more spiteful as all our friends complimented us for finally getting together, he couldn’t help but wonder how different everything would be if that was him holding my hand instead of the redhead. Sero hated himself, for being a shitty friend, for being a shitty boyfriend, for being jealous instead of happy for us, and most of all for being too late in figuring out his feelings. He had concluded that the way I looked at him was just because he was my one of best friends not because I held any romantic feelings for him. He felt like an idiot for assuming I ever liked him, especially after seeing the way I looked at Kirishima, it truly did not compare to any of the ways I ever looked at him, that’s what finally made it click for him. He was filling his mind with nothing but fantasies.
“What the hell is your problem? You can’t at least act like you’re happy for our friends?” Jiro questioned the ravenette moments after Kirishima and I left and everyone else had dispersed. “Kirishima has been in love with her for so long, and she looks so happy. Sero you’re normally so cheery what’s going on?” Momo asked as she tried to diffuse the tension, it was obvious to her that Jiro was close to snapping. She and Momo had been the only two I made aware of my crush on Sero earlier that year, however, Kirishima and Bakugo had figured it out on their own as well at some point. Jiro had held a grudge towards Sero ever since he started dating Mina, she wanted to be happy for her friend but she saw that the boy’s feelings were purely superficial and that he was confusing a friendship connection with a romantic one. She also hated the way he had made me cry, even if he wasn’t aware that he had broken my heart.
“You’ll hate me if I tell you.” was all the boy managed to say as he walked out the front door. Clearly, the answer wasn’t good enough for Jiro as she chased after him. “ I promise you nothing could make me hate you more than I do right now.” She said as she grabbed him by the shoulder, effectively stopping him from walking away. “I like her okay! I tried to fight it off. I did. But it’s impossible not to fall in love with (name)… she’s amazing.” he finally admitted. Jiro was well aware of his feelings as she had always been great at reading people, she just wanted to hear him finally admit it to himself out loud. “and what about Mina?” she questioned, still concerned for her other friend’s feelings. “I love her, she’s gorgeous and she makes me laugh and she makes me so happy. I just… I think I love her like a friend after all. There was always something that (name) possessed that lured me in but I ignored whatever it was because I didn’t want to ruin our friendship, and Mina she was just like me and insanely beautiful so I thought maybe I liked her and was just confused by (name) because I’d never been such good friends with a girl before her. Ever since Mina and I started dating I’ve realized it was the other way around. Now I’m more confused than when this whole thing started. I just… I don’t want to hurt either of them but I can’t help being selfish.” He finally admitted through teary eyes.
Jiro couldn’t help but sigh, she knew this was coming. “Don’t expect me to feel sorry for you.  Mina and (name) are both too good for you, you’re an idiot for playing with their feelings like that. But you’re still my friend so I’ll give you some friendly advice. (name) used to like you, yet she still helped you with Mina because she valued your feelings and friendship above her own, she was never selfish with you so you need to be a good friend and be happy for her. She finally found someone who loves her for who she is, she deserves to have one of her best friends in the entire world be supportive, that’s you, idiot. Stop being selfish and tell Mina what you’re feeling too, maybe you can work on it as a couple or just break up and find people better suited for you two. Either way, stop treating other people’s feelings like toys.” Her revelation had caused Sero’s eyes to widen. He’d finally realized that all along what he wanted was within reach yet he pushed that possibility away all on his own. “I’ll be a good friend from now on.” Was all he said as his mind began to race about all the wasted possibilities of a future with me, a future where he could’ve been the one to go on dates with me, the one to hold my hand, and the one I looked at with absolute adoration.
“I invited you out, I should’ve paid.” I argued as we walked back to the dorms. We had been out since noon and now it was nearing our curfew. Time seemed to fly by when I was with Kirishima, life felt lighter and brighter when I found myself in the company of the beaming boy. “nonsense, a lady should never pay on a date. My moms would kill me if I let you spend a single cent on me.” The boy answered with a chuckle. “Smart ladies.” I quipped back. “Yeah, they’re the best!” The smile never left his face, he truly was the sweetest boy ever. His thumb caressed my knuckles as we held hands once again. The sign of affection had quickly become something we did instinctually as if our bodies longed to be together.
“Are you free tomorrow?” He wondered out loud. “mmm… I’m going shopping with the girls early in the morning but I should be back a little after two. Why?” I answered as I turned to face him. Even in the moonlight, he shines so brightly.  “I thought maybe we could take a walk by the zen gardens. The plum blossoms are in full bloom so I wanted to take some pictures of you with them. I know it sounds kinda cheesy bu-“ “It’s a date!” I eagerly interrupted him, just glad he wasn’t sick of me yet. He looked at me once more with ecstatic wide eyes and raised brows, the excitement evident on his face. There was a certain comfort and warmth in knowing someone you liked also liked you.
As we entered campus my heart couldn’t help but ache at the thought of having to say goodnight, Kirishima’s presence was addicting, I wished to bask in it forever. “I don’t want today to end. It feels like a dream.” The boy suddenly said, almost as if he could read my mind. My (color) eyes once again found themselves meeting his ruby ones. The intensity caused me to take a deep breath, he was perfect. His shimmering gaze was suffocating in the best possible way. He was simply captivating. “Eijiro Kirishima. You’re the fantasy I dreamed of for so long. Be my boyfriend.” I absentmindedly let out. I think he also realized I didn’t mean to say that out loud due to the shock on my face when I realized what I had just asked and the way he had let go of my hand and stopped walking altogether.
“Of course. I’ve always been yours (name), you’ve been my starlight for so long. No one else even exists to me.” The sincerity behind his eyes couldn’t be feigned, the way his voice carried so much weight I knew there was no doubt in his mind that this is what he wanted, that I was what he wanted. “I’m sorry for asking you out I’m sure it wasn’t very manly to be asked out by a girl.” I couldn’t help but let my insecurities get in the way I handled the situation shine through, it was a flaw I was working on. However, Ejiro just shook his head. “Nah. What’s unmanly is waiting around and taking forever to ask you out simply because I was too nervous that you might say no. What you did was very manly. I’m happy, next time I’ll be the one to take action so that you won’t have to I promise!” The boy beamed once again before wrapping his arm around my waist and kissing my forehead. He had a way of making the smallest bits of affection feel as if they were part of a fairytale.
As we made it back to the dorms we still couldn’t find ourselves parting so he decided to walk me to my room despite his being on a different floor. Neither of us wanted our time together to end. It was like in Cinderella as if once the clock struck midnight everything would disappear. I knew better though, and so did he but we’d been apart for so long that now that everything was out on the table we couldn’t help but want to be together as much as possible. However, we both powered through it and he walked me to my room and kissed my hand before hugging me goodnight.
About half an hour had gone by when I heard a knock on my door. I figured it was one of the other girls needing to borrow a product they might’ve run out of, only to be met with none other than  Kirishima on the other side of the door. “Kiri? Did you forget something in my purse?” I asked the redhead as I looked back inside my dorm to see if I could spot the purse I had used earlier that day. “uh no I just…” He nervously started, his hand reaching for my face, caressing my cheek causing me to meet his ruby eyes once more. “I love you (name). I don’t think I could sleep well tonight if I didn’t tell you.” he explained. His confession had been sudden but still filled me with joy, love was a powerful word but I knew that he meant it and all the weight it held from the way he looked at me.
“Kirishima…” I started, only to be interrupted by him. “You don’t have to say it back. I know it’s soon so you might not still feel that way about me but I needed to tell you. I want to be honest with you about where I stand.” He explained, although I could tell he did want something. “I acknowledge your feelings. I’m not sure If I’m there just yet, but I think I could be in the future.” I thought perhaps my honesty would defeat him but instead, he flashed his bright smile my way. “Whenever you’re ready, I’ll wait as long as it takes. No pressure really!” He explained once more.
“Kiri, that’s not it right? What else is it you needed?” I wondered as I could sense something else was making him nervous. “You know me too well. I was wondering if maybe… May I kiss you?” pink began to dust his cheeks, as if he also wasn’t expecting to ask me such a daunting questing. However, I didn’t have to give it a second thought so I just nodded in consent. Almost instantly I felt the hand that had been caressing my cheek travel towards my hair and his free hand pull me by the waist as his lips crashed against mine. Strangely enough, the kiss made me feel protected as if nothing could ever hurt me. His lips were surprisingly soft and the kiss was sweet, reminiscent of the taste of vanilla. Time seemed to freeze. Yet I knew if our kiss went on any longer it would border on a make-out session. Although his intensity had me tempted. “Goodnight starlight.” He whispered as soon as he pulled away, giving me a final kiss on the forehead before walking away. My heart was beating out of my chest knowing no one would ever compare to Eijiro Kirishima, not a single fairytale could have prepared me for him.

Kissing Kirishima ?
ejirou kirishima seems almost hesitant in the way he kisses you— as though he’s afraid that he’s doing something he’s not supposed to, something wrong.
he’s shy, so cutely, abashlessly shy, with his splothy cheeks blown red and his eyes ticking nervously around the room, seeming to land everywhere but your face. you’re somewhat surprised by the unexpected hesitation that engulfs him, by the way he seems almost standoffish, holding onto just the tips of your fingers like you’re a butterfly he’s caught but afraid to crush.
you had been so sure that he’d wanted to kiss you, that he liked you, never missing the brassy way his eyes flickered over your lips every time you two spoke, the way his adam’s apple would dribble nervously in this throat as he stood before you.
so when you had closed the distance between your prone bodies and rooted your lips against his, you had expected that he kiss you back, that he return the affection that had unfurled between you since the very first day of your UA entrance exams. but instead you had been met with a quick turn of his head, a furious blush, and a biting stutter that had your stomach churning tumultuously.
but just as you had moved away, tried to flee, his hand had caught yours, palms clasped tight and flush, and as you hesitantly rose to meet his eyes, you had been confronted with a look written over his face was nothing you had ever seen before. it had struck you then, as obvious as the sun was above your head and the earth was beneath your feet, the realization that kirishima had never kissed anyone before, and, like in so many other things, he wanted to be good, wanted to be good for you.
“ejirou…” you whisper, breaking forward to press your cheek against the naked planes of his broad chest, feeling the way his heart hammers an uncertain staccato against the shell of your ear.
his breath catches, cheeks so red and hot you feared you might be burned as you lean close to press your lips against his fervent skin. “I…” he began, releasing the fists he had long ago clenched at his sides. the hesitancy that had grown between you seems to evaporate within the space of an exhaled breath, and before you know it a kiss is punctuating every word he utters under his breath: “l’ve dreamt of doing that for a long time.”

Snapshot 2: In Sickness and In Health (Kirishima)
a/n: whenever i was sick, my mom told me to drink coke.  i’m sick right now but i’ve evolved to keep chugging coffee no matter what my organs tell me.
summary: snapshot series.  a snapshot of kirishima taking care of you when you’re sick.  kirishima x gn!reader.
cw: no pronouns used, food, cuddling, fluff, descriptions of being sick and the symptoms associated with it (coughing, mucus, congestion, runny nose, fatigue, body aches), slightly suggestive at the end (slightly slightlllyyyy, it’s just the reader teasing kirishima).
word count: 1,529.
“Babe.”
Kirishima’s soft words and gentle voice break through the haze of sleep, but you can’t find the energy to open your eyes or answer appropriately.  There’s an exhaustion behind your throat, but you chalk it up to having slept late last night and not the fact that you had been coughing out the mucus in your throat all day yesterday.
“Babe, wake up,” Kirishima says.  “You’re gonna be late for work.”
He touches your bare shoulder; then, he touches your face, less of a caress and more of a check.  Finally, he presses the palm of his hand against your searing forehead and you hear him tsk.
“[Name], you’re burning up,” he says.  “Baby, I told you to take medicine last night.”
“It’s fine,” you mumble, pushing his hand off of your face.  “Just five more minutes and then I’ll get up.”
Despite the certainty in your voice, it had taken an enormous amount of effort to even say that much.  You don’t tell him that you are now fully aware that the exhaustion behind your voice is actually one that is spread throughout your entire body, that there is an ache and a weight on all your limbs.  You slowly grab the blanket that has fallen near your waist and pull it up to your chin, but there’s another feeling in the back of your mind that tells you to kick it off.  No air goes through your nose, either, so you’re forced to breathe heavily through your mouth.
Maybe it’s a little bit more than sleeping late, you think vaguely.
Kirishima, on the other hand, is positive it’s more than sleeping late.
“I’m calling your work,” he announces, snatching your phone off your bedside table and unlocking it with his fingerprint.
“No,” you groan.  “I can make it.  They need me.”  You get up and push the blankets off to show that you’re mentally and physically capable—only, you don’t actually do it.  It’s all in your head.  When the image fades, you realize that you’re still in bed, curled underneath the sheets.
Kirishima doesn’t respond.  He calls your boss, his voice fading as he steps out of the room—“Hi, Mr. Takahara?  It’s Red Riot, [Name]’s boyfriend.  Yes, sir, so [Name]’s…”
You smile against the pillow.  He hates using his status to get his way.  You snicker, feeling warm not because of the blankets but because of how much he loves you.
Moments later, you’re shaken from your sleep.  Kirishima makes you sit up, drink water, and take medicine; his voice is stern when you try to talk your way out of the medication, voice slurred with sick and sleep.  Once done, he tucks you back into the bed and surrounds you with pillows from his side.  Your eyes flutter open briefly when you hear objects being placed on your nightstand: he sets down for you a cup of water, a cup of coke, and a box of tissues.
You ask him what your boss said, but he doesn’t answer; you think that you might’ve imagined yourself asking him, but before you can figure it out, the door closes softly and you sink into the comfortable hold of fabric and fall asleep.
&&
The next time you wake up, you’re congested, you’re consistently clearing your throat, your back and shoulders ache, but you feel better overall.  Better and overall are used very loosely.  You can at least open your eyes with ease and sit up without major issues.  You grab a tissue from the side, feeling your nose running even though you still can’t breathe through your nostrils, and then drink the rest of the water.
You’re glad that Kirishima called in for you.  Going into the office like this would’ve been hellish, deadlines be damned.  They’d survive without you for a day.
You glance around for the TV remote and see that Kirishima had placed it beside your water.  You turn on the TV, put on a random YouTube video, and then start scrolling through the available restaurants in the DoorDash app, thinking that you should probably order soup even though you’re craving something more filling.  You think you should also shoot Kirishima a text message, just to let him know you’re awake and okay since he’s at work.
But then the door opens, and Kirishima peeks his head into the bedroom.  His hair is tied in a low ponytail, and he’s wearing your gray headband to keep stray hairs from his face.
“Hey, baby,” he greets.  “You feeling better?”
“Eijirou,” you say, surprised, “you didn’t go in today?”
He frowns, opening the door further to lean against the frame.  You see that he’s wearing an apron, and now that the is wide open, you can smell the scents of food simmering on the kitchen stove.
“‘Course not,’” he says.  “You’re sick.  I asked Bakugou to cover for me so I could make sure you’re okay.”
“You didn’t have to do that,” you say, feeling bad that he has to miss work for you.  It’s just a mild flu, you think; it’s nothing that you can’t handle, but you see him shake his head.
“I have to,” he insists.  “I want to.”
Your cheeks warm, and you know it’s not the sickness.
“Hungry yet?”
You nod.
“Okay, I’m almost done.  I’ll bring it in.”
“No, I can come out,” you say.  You swing your legs over the bed and stand up.  Kirishima steps inside and watches you intently, waiting to catch you in case you stumble, but you reassure him that it’s mild and roll your eyes, though your stomach flips in contentment at the close attention as though you’ve only been dating for a couple days and not several years.  You grab the big pillow off the bed and follow behind him out of the room.
You lay down on the couch.  Instead of checking on the stove, Kirishima follows you and grabs the blanket from the other couch, tucking you back in; he grabs the remote, turns on the TV, and places it in your hands.  When he leans forward to kiss your forehead, you turn your face, whining in embarrassment—“I’m sick and sweaty, stop”—but he kisses you anyways and says, “Worth it.”
While you put on Princess Mononoke, you settle down into the cushions, listening to Kirishima whistle and hum alongside the movie’s soundtrack.  You scroll through the random apps on your phone, reading tweets and threads until the music and warmth make your eyes flutter closed.  Soon, you dip back into the Sandman’s realm.
&&
It feels like seconds later that you feel Kirishima’s large hand pressing against your forehead.
“Good, fever’s down,” he says.  “Come on, baby, food’s ready.”
He helps you sit up despite your groaning complaints, but when you’re finally on the floor with the blanket in your lap and the feast on the coffee table, your stomach grumbles.  Kirishima has set out several plates of white rice, glazed chicken, sunny-side up eggs, and vegetables (you’re surprised to see kimchi on the table because that means he went out of his way to go to the only market—forty minutes away—in Musutafu that sells it).  There’s also a bowl of peeled oranges on your side of the table.  To your right is a cup of water, a cup of coke, and your medication.
You reach out to squeeze his knee lovingly; if you weren’t sick, you would kiss him. “Thanks, Eijirou,” you whisper.
“Of course.”  He fills your bowl up first and gives it to you, making sure that you enjoy your meal with several bites before filling his own bowl.  “Eat, then take your medicine, and then you can sleep again, okay?”
“Okay,” you say in between chewing.
The two of you eat in quiet, watching the protagonists get closer together on the screen.  Whenever Kirishima notices you finishing your vegetables, he adds more into your bowl.  Eventually, you make your way back under the covers and against the couch cushions, and Kirishima feeds you the orange slices.
“You love me so much,” you tease after the third slice fed to you.
He’s not embarrassed, though.  He smiles, a smile that’s big and wide and sincere.  “I love you so much,” he repeats.
Even though you were the one teasing him, his unabashed declaration as he reaches for another slice makes you feel embarrassed for some reason.  In retaliation—because you can’t be the only one red-faced—you suck playfully on his fingers with the next orange wedge.  Kirishima jerks his hand back; his ears turn darker than his hair, and he snaps at you, “[Name], that’s not fair; you’re sick!”
Later, as you’re falling asleep, suspended between twilight and the full darkness of the Sandman’s world, you hear the clanking of dishes as Kirishima puts the food away and washes the plates.  Then, you feel him scoop you into his strong arms and take you to the bedroom where he tucks you underneath the covers right beside him.  You sigh, losing yourself fully into the hazy fog and his body heat, and he intertwines his fingers with yours in the dim light.

Slice of Life Drabble : Eijiro Kirishima
Tumblr media
You jolt, groaning as your forehead snaps into the hard planes of Kirishima’s chest. You feel more than hear his answering chuckle.
“Alright baby?”
“I hate public transport,” you grumble in response, burying further into Eijirou’s hold.
The hand on your hip moves up to stroke over your back as he coos down at you, “I know baby.”
The air in the train is swollen with August heat, the kind that lingers despite the sun wilting on the horizon and the spluttering aircon  above your heads. You find reprieve from the acrid stench of sweat that lingers on your fellow passengers by breathing in the salt-sweet smell of your boyfriend’s skin.
Eijiro smells like the ocean. Like salt and sand and lazy summer days. The good kind, not the sweaty-sticky summer smell of  the train, rather the kind of summer you remember from childhood holidays on the jetty. Bare feet burning against the hot wood, salt sticking to your lashes, and–
The train jolts again and Eijiro winces as your nails carve half moons into the taut flesh of his waist.
“Careful,” he hisses softly, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head. “We’re almost there.”
He’s tall enough to see over the crowd around you and towards the blinking sign above the cabin doors that announces the next stop. Your stop, thankfully.
“I could’ve driven us,” you mutter into the collar of his shirt, letting yourself go lax and loose as you melt into his figure.
The press of hard muscles against the softness of your chest and stomach  leaves you feeling a little lightheaded.
You dig your teeth into his bicep, gently, with just enough force to make him squeak. When you peer up at him through your lashes his face is flushed nearly the same shade as his hair.
“Babe.”
“Kiri,” you match his tone easily, smiling into the flushed curve of his neck as his grip turns bruising on your hip.
You give him another gentle bite  and are rewarded with a full body shudder.
“You’re so in for it when we get home.”
A/N: Another mini fic! This is super fun guys. Like, there’s none of the pressure that comes with full-length one shots, I’m just straight up vibing.

All I Could Ever Want pt. 1
➥ summary: this story foretells Kirishima journey into the hero world, how he found love and how his life changed.
➥ a/n: I’ll make a part 2 to this one shot
➥ pt. 2 “All I Could Ever Have”
Tumblr media
Kirishima Eijiro, known as the aspiring hero Red Riot, sat in his dorm room at U.A. High School. With a determined look in his eyes, he reflected on the journey that had brought him to this point, a journey that had shaped him into the hero he aspired to be.
•••
Growing up, Kirishima had always admired heroes. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering determination inspired him. He yearned to become someone who could protect others, to be a symbol of hope in a world filled with uncertainty.
However, it wasn't until he joined U.A. High School, alongside his classmates, that he truly began to understand what it meant to be a hero. He was surrounded by talented individuals, each with their unique quirks and aspirations. It was in this vibrant community that Kirishima found the courage to embrace his own journey.
His quirk, Hardening, allowed him to transform his body into an incredibly durable and rock-like substance. It was a defensive ability that he initially struggled to see the value in. He believed that to be a hero, one needed an offensive quirk. But with time, he came to understand that true heroism came in many forms.
During his time at U.A., Kirishima had numerous encounters with villainous threats and challenges that pushed him to his limits. It was in these moments of adversity that he discovered the true strength of his quirk. With his hardened body, he could withstand devastating attacks, shielding both himself and his friends from harm.
But it wasn't just his physical strength that defined Kirishima. It was his unwavering spirit and unyielding resolve. He was determined to stand tall, to protect those he cared about, and to face challenges head-on.
It was during his first year at U.A. that Kirishima's path intersected with that of (Y/n). (Y/n)'s quirk, Earth Manipulation, allowed her to control the elements of the earth, shaping the very ground beneath her feet. Her connection to the earth fascinated Kirishima, and he found himself drawn to her quiet strength and gentle nature.
They started off as classmates, gradually becoming friends as they trained together, shared meals, and supported each other during their heroic pursuits. Kirishima admired (Y/n)'s determination and saw in her a reflection of the qualities he aspired to embody.
Over time, their friendship blossomed into something deeper. Kirishima found himself falling in love with (Y/n)'s kind heart and unwavering support. She saw past his tough exterior, appreciating the vulnerability and warmth that lay beneath.
Together, they faced challenges, both in training and in their personal lives. Kirishima found solace in (Y/n)'s presence, her calming influence grounding him in moments of doubt. She believed in him when he struggled to believe in himself, reminding him of the hero he aspired to be.
As Kirishima reminisced on their journey, he couldn't help but smile. (Y/n) had become his pillar of support, the person he could lean on when the weight of the world threatened to crush him. She embodied the very essence of the earth, grounding him and providing stability in a world filled with chaos.
With a renewed sense of purpose, Kirishima stood up, a flame of determination burning within him. He was ready to embrace his destiny as a hero, to face whatever challenges came his way. And with (Y/n) by his side, he knew he could weather any storm.
As he walked out of his dorm room, he caught a glimpse of (Y/n) waiting for him in the hallway. Her smile lit up his world, reminding him of the love and support that awaited him outside those doors.
Together, Kirishima and (Y/n) ventured into the world, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. Their love, their friendship, and their unwavering commitment to each other would be the driving force that propelled them forward, forging a path of heroism and unwavering determination.
•••
(Y/n) had been a constant presence in Kirishima's life, a source of inspiration and support. Her unwavering belief in him had bolstered his own confidence, pushing him to become the hero he aspired to be. But lately, his feelings had transcended friendship, and he yearned for something more.
As he gazed at the city below, the lights twinkling in the distance, Kirishima couldn't help but reminisce about their time together. They had faced numerous challenges side by side, their bond growing stronger with each obstacle they overcame. It was in those moments that he realized how deeply he cared for (Y/n).
Taking a deep breath, Kirishima turned his attention to the rooftop entrance. He could hear the sound of footsteps approaching, and his heart skipped a beat as he saw (Y/n) emerge, her presence casting a warm glow in the cool evening air.
(Y/n) looked at Kirishima, a smile gracing her lips. "Hey, Kirishima. Mind if I join you?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine warmth.
Kirishima nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. "Of course, (Y/n). I'm glad you're here."
As (Y/n) settled down next to him, a comfortable silence enveloped them. Kirishima's mind raced, searching for the right words to express his feelings. The moment felt both daunting and exhilarating, but he knew he couldn't hold back any longer.
"(Y/n), there's something I need to tell you," Kirishima began, his voice filled with determination. "You've been an incredible friend, a source of strength and inspiration in my life. But lately, my feelings have grown deeper, and I can't keep it to myself any longer."
(Y/n) turned to face him, her eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of anticipation. "What is it, Kirishima? You can tell me anything."
Kirishima took a deep breath, his gaze steady. "I... I've fallen in love with you, (Y/n). Your kindness, your strength, and your unwavering belief in me... it's captured my heart. I can't imagine my life without you."
A moment of silence hung in the air as (Y/n) absorbed his words. Her eyes searched his face, her expression a mix of surprise and contemplation. Kirishima's heart raced, his palms slightly sweaty, but he knew he had to be honest and let his emotions pour out.
Finally, (Y/n) spoke, her voice soft yet filled with sincerity. "Kirishima, I... I didn't expect this, but I'm grateful for your honesty. Your friendship means the world to me, and I've always felt a special connection between us."
Kirishima's heart skipped a beat as hope flickered in his eyes. "Does... does that mean you feel the same way?"
(Y/n) smiled, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Yes, Kirishima. I've fallen for you too. Your unwavering spirit, your determination, and the way you always protect those around you... it's captured my heart as well."
Relief washed over Kirishima, and a wide grin spread across his face. In that moment, the weight he had been carrying lifted, replaced by a newfound sense of happiness and possibility. He couldn't believe that the person he had admired and cared for reciprocated his feelings.
With a surge of courage, Kirishima reached out and gently took (Y/n)'s hand, their fingers interlocking. "I'm glad we can take this step together, (Y/n). Our bond as friends has been amazing, and I can't wait to see what our relationship will bring."
(Y/n) squeezed his hand, her voice filled with affection. "Me too, Kirishima. Let's navigate this new chapter together, supporting and loving each other every step of the way."
In that moment, surrounded by the city's lights and the warmth of their shared affection, Kirishima and (Y/n) sealed their commitment to each other. Their confession of love marked the beginning of a beautiful journey, filled with shared experiences, laughter, and unwavering support.
As they sat on the rooftop, their hands still intertwined, Kirishima couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude. He was grateful for the courage to confess his feelings, grateful for (Y/n)'s reciprocation, and grateful for the love that would guide them through whatever challenges lay ahead.
•••
The air was thick with excitement as students of U.A. High School prepared for their graduation ceremony. It was a momentous occasion, marking the end of their time at the prestigious school and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. For Kirishima Eijiro and his beloved (Y/n), it held an even deeper significance.
Kirishima, known as the aspiring hero Red Riot, stood with his classmates, a mixture of nerves and anticipation coursing through his veins. He couldn't help but steal glances at (Y/n), his heart swelling with love and pride. As they exchanged smiles, he knew this was the perfect moment to make a grand gesture of his commitment.
As the ceremony began, the air filled with a sense of achievement and accomplishment. One by one, students were called up to the stage, receiving their diplomas and celebrating their accomplishments. Kirishima watched, his heart pounding in his chest, knowing that his own moment would soon arrive.
Finally, it was his turn. Kirishima walked across the stage, accepting his diploma with a mixture of excitement and nostalgia. As he descended the steps, he glanced towards (Y/n), their eyes locking for a brief moment, their unspoken connection carrying a world of emotions.
Taking a deep breath, Kirishima made his way towards the podium, the eyes of his classmates and teachers fixed upon him. His palms were slightly sweaty, but the determination in his eyes shone through.
"Classmates, teachers, and esteemed guests," Kirishima began, his voice projecting with confidence and warmth. "Today, as we gather here to celebrate our achievements, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for all of you who have supported us throughout this journey."
His words resonated with the audience, their applause filling the auditorium. Kirishima continued, his gaze never wavering from (Y/n).
"But there is one person in particular I want to recognize today, someone who has been my rock, my inspiration, and my love throughout my time at U.A. High School. (Y/n), you have stood by my side through thick and thin, supporting me and believing in me even when I doubted myself."
(Y/n)'s eyes widened, a mix of surprise and anticipation evident on her face. The audience leaned forward, captivated by Kirishima's heartfelt words.
"I have come to realize that life's greatest joys are not achieved alone. They are shared with the people we love and cherish. And so, in front of this esteemed gathering, I want to ask you a question."
Kirishima took a step forward, the anticipation in the room palpable. He reached into his pocket, his fingers wrapping around the small velvet box that held his most precious possession.
"(Y/n), will you do me the honor of becoming my partner for life? Will you marry me?"
Time seemed to stand still as the words hung in the air, the room filled with a collective gasp of surprise and excitement. All eyes turned to (Y/n), awaiting her response.
(Y/n)'s eyes welled up with tears, her lips trembling with emotion. She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper, but filled with love. "Yes, Kirishima, a thousand times yes."
A roar of applause erupted throughout the auditorium, students and teachers alike celebrating the love and commitment that filled the room. Kirishima's classmates cheered, their joy for the couple genuine and heartfelt.
With a beaming smile, Kirishima approached (Y/n), the box with the engagement ring open in his hand. He took her hand in his, sliding the ring onto her finger, sealing their commitment in a symbol of love and devotion.
The room erupted in cheers and applause once again, the collective happiness and excitement creating an electric atmosphere. Kirishima and (Y/n) stood together, their eyes locked, their hearts overflowing with love and gratitude.
As they walked off the stage, hand in hand, Kirishima couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment. They had achieved so much together, and now, they were embarking on a new adventure as they prepared to face the challenges of the hero world and their life together.
Their love story had reached a beautiful milestone, and as they joined their classmates in celebration, Kirishima knew that this proposal would forever be etched in their memories as a testament to their love and the unwavering support they had found in each other.

Don't be too surprised the day Kirishima gets you and him matching shark onesies. It will eventually happen and Kirishima won't be able to stop smiling. He was out with the Bakusquad when he found the shark onesies and thought it would be adorable if he got you and him matching onesies. This idea was only encouraged by certain people who will not be named in the Bakusquad and Kirishima quickly buys the onesies. As soon as the two of you put your shark onesies on, Kirishima pulls out his phone and takes a bunch of goofy photos of you and him. His lock screen on his phone frequently changes with the different pictures taken on that night. Also, whenever you come over to his room, Kirishima almost always asks you to bring over your shark onesie and when you get there, he's already wearing his.

Chapter 3 - A wild Mama Dynamight appears!
Summary: Y/N gets the shove-talk.
Warnings: Bakugou drinks an alcoholic beverage, swear words, the chapter ends with a teeny-tiny cliffhanger (sorry)
First chapter Master List
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
It’s an hour after opening and Red Riot is nowhere in sight. You lay on the freshly cleaned counter with a sigh.
You got a little bit too used to have that ray of sunshine in your shop every morning. His pure existence makes your day better. Sometimes, you come in all grumpy, your mood heavily influenced by the lack of sleep, but one glance at the hero’s smile and the world is full of rainbows and unicorns.
Fuck, you miss him already. It’s really fucking concerning how quickly you developed feelings for this random guy. Okay, calling him a random a guy is quite rude as you literally grew up watching him in the TV, but he’s just a human, a human you’ve met only a month ago yet here you are, pining like a stupid school girl because the guy finally managed to get a day off.
“Waiting for someone?” Your boss mutters with a knowing smile which you answer with a big, loud and needy whine. She only snickers at that and then the door opens; you look up with hopeful eyes, searching for a blotch of red but you only find a blond dude in a cap and a face mask, looking sus as fuck.
Is he about to rob this place? - you wonder for a second; haha, he can fucking try, no one except your closest family members know this, but you went to Shiketsu High School and managed to get a hero license as well, so you are absolutely more than capable to annihilate a single fucker even with the lack of training in the last few years.
“Good fucking morning to you too.” The guy looks straight into your eyes with nothing but pure murderous intent.
You shudder under his intense gaze and your face pales in a matter of seconds. You have no idea what you have done personally to deserve such a stare but the guy doesn’t budge. He does look familiar to you though…
Uhm… haha… you definitely can’t annihilate this guy, because this guy is the Number Two pro hero, Dynamight. Oopsie daisy.
Knowing how much you’ve bullied Red Riot in the last few weeks, you have a feeling you are about to get “the shove-talk”.
“Good fucking morning to you too indeed, sir Dynamight!” You mumble under your nose, still a little bit shaken up by being almost murdered by his eyes. The guy keeps an eye contact as he puts his elbow on the counter; his whole posture screams “don’t fuck with me” so you… you don’t fuck with him.
Why?
Because this guy is Red Riot’s best friend. Otherwise he would be out of the door for acting inappropriately.
It’s quite amusing to you how much you care about his opinion; it’s not like you are dating his best friend or anything, you are literally just a barista who likes to banter with his favorite customer. Or at least that’s what you try to tell yourself when you feel the urge to ask a guy out and that’s like… every five seconds, really.
“Give me your best coffee.” Dynamight speaks up and it sounds like a challenge; and maybe it is, maybe this is the only way you can earn the guys approval.
Okay, you need to think.
This is Dynamight. He likes his stuff with a kick. A chili hot chocolate would definitely be something he would enjoy but he specifically said “coffee”, so that not an option.
A coffee with a kick… ahh!
“You doin’ hero work today, sir?” You ask nonchalantly while you poor some cold brew into a cup - Dynamight doesn’t look like a person who drinks his coffee sweet, but he also looks like someone who likes to be extra just because he fucking can.
“It’s our inventory and paperwork day, so we are the last agency on the call list so probably no.” He answers with a confused face but doesn’t ask any further questions about your silly question.
It’s time for you to make your favorite beverage… baileys coffee.
Yep, you heard it right. It’s alcohol time.
You give the drink a really light stir, just enough for the two colors to swirl together, then you top it up with some whip cream and finish the masterpiece with a hand-drawn explosion on the top (you don’t want to boast or anything but you can do a lot of stuff with chocolate syrup.)
You hand out the beverage with a massive smirk on your face and Dynamight takes it with a doubtful glare. He takes one sip and by the look of it, the drink kicks him right in the face; he stares at you with an incredulous look.
“It’s 8 in the morning, you absolute madman!” Dynamight fucking laughs, and that’s how you know you won this round. “Are you even allowed to sell alcohol in this place?”
“I’m not selling alcohol. I’m sharing my own secret stash with a friend of a friend. Don’t sue us, please.”
“Only if you make me another one for my fiancé, she will loose her mind from this shit.”
Dynamight gets excited for a second but then he schools his face into his usual scowl.
You can’t believe how cute he is in real life; the fact that his first thought was to share the drink with his loved one makes your heart melt. Now it makes sense why those two are besties. “So… Eijirou likes you.” The blond mutters like he’s talking about the weather. You have a sudden urge to drink some of that Bailey’s yourself, straight out of the bottle. “Red, shitty hair, sunshine reincarnation, rainbows coming out if his ass…” Katsuki tries to help like the only reason you are rendered speechless is the fact that you have no idea what the guy’s first name is.
“Red likes everyone.” You retort, faking nonchalance.
“I’ve been his best fucking friend for 10 years and trust me when I say, he doesn’t. Not like this, at least. I don’t know what kind of sorcery did you do to him, but…”
“I did nothing!” You retort loudly. “He’s my favorite customer, I like to banter with him and tease him. I try my best to make sure he leaves with a smile on his face. That’s all.”
“So you can see through his facade already. Impressive.”
“Facade?”
“Eijirou isn’t a ray of sunshine all the time. Not a lot of people can see through all the positivity he fakes daily to be liked. He’s sensitive and depressed. He’s my best fucking friend and if you break his fucking heart I swear to god I’ll chop you up and hide your body parts all over the country so no one can ever find you.”
“What if he breaks my heart?” You mumble with pout, absolutely not affected by the meaningless threats.
“Hm. You ain’t scared of me.” He mutters under his nose with a small smile on his face.
“Should I be? You might act like an asshole but it feels like it comes from a good place. Dunno, I might be weird. I’m glad Red has such a supportive friend by his side. He’s such a himbo sometimes, I’m a little bit worried for him.” You admit with a slight blush on your face.
There are a few seconds of silence between you two before the blond speaks up again:
“If he ever breaks your heart I’ll chop his dick off for letting such a good woman down.”
Needless to say your blush comes back with a full force at his words.
“Deal.” You mumble just as the door open up with full force.
“Katsuki, let her live! … oh. Uhm. I thought he’s… Nevermind. Hi!” Red Riot pants, out of breath. He also forgot to put on a shirt before he ran here. Oh damn, what a day to be alive.
“Did you just run straight here from your apartment, you idiot?!”
“Uhm, I felt like running today?” Red Riot pants with a massive grin on his face. You really want to know how does it feel like to kiss a guy with shark teeth… Y/N, calm the fuck down. Stop staring at his teeth. And his chest… those sweat-slicked abs… oh damn, call the popo, there’s something illegal going on in this coffee shop.
“Eijirou, you live 15 kilometers away and you aren’t even supposed to be in today!” Dynamight yells, and you can’t stop yourself from teasing the guy.
“Yeah, EIJIROU, give yourself a break!”
Kirishima… chokes on his saliva in the most unattractive way, but he looks so fucking adorable while doing it, and you kinda want to kiss him.
Wait? What?! You did not just think that, did you?!
“What if I wanted to see my favorite barista on my break? Am I not allowed to be in the area?” Kirishima gets a little bit cocky, probably trying to look badass and miserably failing at it.
“Look into my eyes and tell me that you didn’t get a message from my woman about me coming to check out the coffee shop.” Dynamight speaks up with a blank face, eyes staring holes into Kirishima’s skull. Damn. You see? That’s badass. The calmness, the way you can see Dynamight knows Red Riot is lying right now but he gives him a last chance to save himself. Kirishima cowers under his gaze, his body goes numb as his facade crumbles and he sighs, clearly giving up on fighting his best friend.
“The menace* messaged me…” Red Riot sits down on the nearest chair, completely defeated.
Honestly, if you thought Kirishima himself is a better entertainment than a sitcom, there two together are downright unbeatable when it comes to comedy.
* The Menace is the hero name of Katsuki’s fiancé. She started as a secretary at Katsuki’s agency after she got into an accident and couldn’t work as a hero for a long time but after she got better she joined Katsuki’s agency as a hero. The Menace was Katsuki’s nickname for her when they “hated” each other. If you want to read their story, read Bakugou Katsuki’s daily shenanigans!
“While I certainly enjoy your shenanigans and you two made my day, can you please leave now? Dynamight, your woman’s coffee will get cold. Red, no one will come to my coffee shop if there is a half naked guy sitting in the window, even though I must admit, it is a beautiful sight.”
“I’m… not even getting… a coffee?” Kirishima gives you the biggest puppy eyes the world has even seen while Dynamight snickers in the background like a cheeky child.
“Come here.” You motion towards the redhead with your fingers. “Come on, I ain’t got all day!” You reprimand and Kirishima moves closer, clearly terrified. You can barely conceal your smile as he finally makes it to the counter, ready to get smacked in the head, his eyes closed, ready for the impact. Instead of smacking him you jump on top of the counter and rake your fingers through his soft, gel-free strands as you leave a tiny kiss on the top of his forehead, an act full of affection and love. “Now get the fuck out of my coffee shop, you smelly himbo.” Everyone who hears your lovesick giggle is able to tell how much you adore this man… except the man himself. It’s kinda funny how oblivious the guy is.
“Yes, sir.” Is all you get as an answer; Red Riot is out of of the door before you can say bye; you stare at the door for a few second, already the missing the warmth Kirishima has brought with him.
“Wow, you’ve got it bad. I was worried for no reason.” Katsuki grins at you, sipping on his girlfriend drink, using the cute reusable pink straw you put in it for another brownie point.
“You look like a slut, Dynamight, get out and get laid.” You giggle while you roll your eyes, absolutely gobsmacked by the fact that Bakugou is… well… a completely different person than the loud and aggressive pro hero Dynamight you see in the news almost every day.
“Behave yourself.” Katsuki grins and after a lazy wave, he leaves; Suddenly, it’s way too lonely in the empty coffee shop.
“They are an interesting bunch.” Your boss snickers, her head poking out of the staff room door.
“Shut up.” You whine, only just realizing that she’s heard the whole conversation. “And don’t tell my uncle. Don’t want him to die an early death.”
“Yes, sir.” Your boss parrots; you really want to to go home and yell into a pillow out of embarrassment.
~•🪨•~
A few days later:
Kirishima is a happy child; he just got his favorite coffee from his favorite barista and if that’s not enough, he even got another kiss on his cheek. His heart has a hard time with the whole situation, it beats out of his chest every time Y/N comes close to him and he certainly needs to work on that bit to preserve this blooming friendship without ruining it with his stupid, unrequited romantic feelings but that’s a problem for another day; today, Kirishima is the one in charge at the agency, he’s the big boss, the one with all the responsibility and not even Y/N’s cheeky kisses can ruin his concentration as he stares at the CCTV, looking for troublesome individuals. It’s not like he doesn’t have specific people in the room to do this for him but Kirishima is a nosy little bitch and absolute likes the random funny interactions that sometimes happen on the screen; there is a guy who always dances on his way home from work, another one likes to pet the neighbors dog as he walks past, even if he gets bitten every time then there is that girl with two heads that likes to have a fight with herself in the middle of the street then walk into a lamp post by accident.
Today, he’s not looking at the random bystanders though; he’s looking at the camera right by this street, he’s looking at a smiling Y/N, staring out of the massive window, clearly daydreaming; Kirishima wonders what she’s thinking about and if he’s able to make those dreams come true.
Kirishima is aware that he is… uhm… a little bit creepy for doing this so he usually only does it for a few minutes then moves to the next frame.
They got a special security camera set up for that coffee shop after it opened; villains aren’t stupid to try and rob a shop right next to the big Dynamight-Red Riot Agency but even if Katsuki denies it, they both care about their neighbors and they want them to feel safe, hence why every single shop in the area has a special camera set up so they can help out in a case of emergency; fire, water damage, robbery, hell, they even send their interns to help out with rude, aggressive customers from time to time, just to keep the young, inexperienced hero students entertained on a boring day.
Kirishima is just about to look somewhere else, mesmerized by the sight of his… well, let’s be honest, crush; when he feels his heart drop down into his belly; three, masked individuals enter the shop, clearly up to no good and Kirishima doesn’t wait a single second before he jumps out of his office window and lands right in front of the (hopefully) unlocked coffee shop back door.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.” He mutters to himself as he sneaks into the backroom, his whole body charged with the urge to protect the sunshine of his life.
… next chapter!

𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 always has his tits out
his hero costume hides exactly nothing and even when he’s just hanging out at home you’ll have to try hard to convince him to wear a top to cover up
it’s not even about showing off his impressive muscles, 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 just likes being shirtless
which wouldn’t be a big deal if 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 didn’t like to put those pearly shark teeth to use and mark you up with love bites and hickeys and deep purple bruises that scream ‘MINE’
it’s a little unfair that you can never leave love bites on him unless you pick the placement very carefully
otherwise the whole entire world would know just what the two of you have been up to and although Red Riot wasn’t at the top of the hero ranking he was still in the public eye so him showing up with his chest littered in love marks wouldn’t be ideal
𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 loves making out with you but he also loves having you on his cock, not just during sex or after but also just randomly throughout the day
he can’t keep your mouth busy all the time, sometimes it just slips his mind, too focused on how you feel around him and keeping the right rhythm and you're too fucked out to care so he ends up with a big prominent hickey at the side of his neck and you have to try to cover it with makeup and his hair
when he has you on his dick for some time 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 makes sure that your back is to his chest so that you can't leave any marks but it also gives him more chances to just chew on your shoulder
cockwarming with 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 is sweet and more about spending time together and enjoying each others presence than just sex but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun
when you lean against his strong chest you can hear his heartbeat and feel how it changes when you decide to tease him and clench around him while he tries to act like that small action doesn’t affect him at all
if you plan it out beforehand you can leave some marks on 𝐄𝐈𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 too, on the soft part of his massive thighs or the meaty part of his biceps, somewhere hidden where nobody knows it’s there except the two of you

The majority of dinner was spent with you attempting to not look your brother in the eye, downing martini after champagne glass, hoping it would lessen the one-sided tension you were feeling. It didn’t.
Bakugou could feel something was wrong. He was expecting you to be smug about your promotion, bragging left and right, soaking in the compliments from your parents. But, nonetheless, you were… quiet. Very out of character for any of the Bakugou’s, but especially the youngest.
You smiled every time your parents complimented your work ethic, and your ability to work up to such a high position at such a young age. He doesn’t blame them, becoming a creative director of a fashion brand as major as your mother’s was rare, if not impossible. You were only 25 after all. But he could see you were stuck in your head.
He brushed off your odd behaviour. Assuming you broke up with your boy toy of the month. He knew you didn’t spend the night at home. He called your best friend, Mai, who he knew you were with the night before as nobody was able to get a hold of you in the morning. She told him you probably weren’t home as you cut the outing short when you left with a guy. He didn’t know who this month's victim was, nor did he care. All he cared about was that you didn’t get with any of his friends, or close-ish coworkers. He said the rule to you, too, he wasn’t keen on you messing with anyone who he had to maintain a relationship with.
It was understandable, sure. Which is exactly why you agreed to it. You were kinda sad about it as you had a massive crush on his classmate, Shoto Todoroki when you were 13 and Katsuki just entered high school. But, oh well, you would live with it.
As you downed your fourth, no, fifth glass of champagne, you finally started feeling the effects of the alcohol. You also started gaining the confidence to actually acknowledge your brother's presence at the table, pretending like you didn’t get your back blown out by his best friend just 12 hours ago.
As the alcohol hit your head, so did the flashback.
“Oh, fuck. Katsuki’s gonna murder me” Kirishima groaned, his crimson eyes wide, not believing the sight in front of him.
“Oh, fuck me.” he groaned, once again, his big hands brushing through his long red hair.
“Uh, I think we kinda covered that part, don’t ya think?” you attempted to chuckle at your joke, though just a whine came out, the shock still not leaving your body.
“Do you remember anything? I don’t. Maybe we didn’t-” he brought his head up to take a good look at you for the first time.
You were beautiful, he couldn’t deny that. He could see the outline of your body, the white sheet not doing much to cover your figure. Your mascara was smudged. Probably from clubbing, or sleeping. Or most likely the amazing sex you had the night before. Though, he still let the possibility you two didn’t do anything linger in his brain. But, looking at you, he doubted he would be able to contain himself and just spend the night with you, without absolutely destroying you in every way possible. Especially under the influence.
He spotted the purple and blue marks on your neck and collarbone. He assumed there were marks on other parts of your body.
No, maybe all you did was in fact kiss. Yeah, that’s totally possible. It also wouldn’t count as a betrayal of his best friend, wouldn’t it? I mean kissing and sex are two things that are very different and surely Katsuki would understand  -
But no, he remembered now. All hope was lost when he remembered your screams and whines. You entangled in his arms, begging for more, begging for him to give you more. How could he forget? He thinks he’ll probably never be able to forget your mewls. He’ll most likely die wishing he could hear them once more.
“No, we definitely- uhm - yeah.” you stumbled over your words. You didn’t do that often. Actually, you never stuttered, you were also never nervous. It simply didn't run in your family.
But, standing practically naked, in front of the equally naked number 8th pro hero of the country, was a little intimidating. Especially since the pro hero has known you since you were an awkward thirteen year old. Back when you had braces, no social skills and no other interests besides the latest kpop group.
You melted under his gaze, which was not a common occurrence for you. You were usually the one doing the metaphorical melting. You could feel him analysing your body. You returned the favour, noticing how huge he got in the past decade. Sure, you two saw each other here and there, granted you didn’t really run in the same circles of friends. Especially since there was also the fact you avoided your brother as much as possible during social gatherings.
You knew of his and his friends’ reputation, everybody in Japan did. You didn’t want to risk witnessing your brother taking one of his many conquests home, it was gross. Especially if he decided he would pursue one of your friends, which would be even worse to witness.
That’s exactly why you had formed the little pack of not sleeping with each other's friends. It was simple enough to follow, wasn’t it?
If so, why did you find yourself in your current situation?
Well, you always thought Eijirou was attractive. Katsuki always picked his friends well, that's for sure. He never really gave you any attention when you were younger. He always visited your home while him and your brother were in hero training. He also told you multiple times he sees you as a younger sister. Granted, you were probably always looked at as a kid, but that didn’t stop you from feeling a little sad when he brought his first girlfriend to the Bakugou household.
But, things are different now. You look very different now, and so does he. You’re not children anymore. And he definitely looks even better now that he has matured.
You decided daydreaming wouldn’t do you any good in this situation
“I should probably go.”
You started looking around the room for your clothes.
“Uh, here” Kirishima scratched the back of his head while he held out a piece of black lace in his hand. “It was on the floor.”
Oh, grear. The sturdy hero Red Riot was holding your lacy bra in his hand.
“Thanks. You think I could borrow a shirt?”
“Yeah” he opened a drawer, handing you a simple black t-shirt that was way too big for you, oh well, it would use. “Here you go.” He threw the shirt at you.
You looked at him with your eyebrows raised, expecting him to give you a little bit of privacy so you could wiggle out of the white sheet that was probably doing nothing to actually cover you.
“Uh right, sorry.”
He got up, not without grabbing a pillow to cover his lower body. You couldn’t help but giggle at the sight. This huge mountain of a man, scrambling to find a pair of underwear, while on his tippy toes mind you, as quickly as possible. Eijirou retreated to the bathroom once he found one.
Once you heard the door of the bathroom lock, you finally let go of the white sheet, your knuckles white from how hard you were gripping it. You put the shirt on, taking note of the hickeys on your breasts. Just as you got dressed in the shirt that went down to half your thigh, you ran into the next problem.
Where the fuck was your underwear?
Just as Kirishima exited the bathroom, he saw you bent over, your ass up high, on full display. You were bent over the ottoman, looking for something. He smirked at the sight. What’s the harm in enjoying a view for a little bit? It’s not like he would get a second chance to look at it, right? Wrong.
You quickly stood up straight as you felt a pair of eyes on you.
“Could you stop staring and help me find my underwear?” you said, visibly annoyed.
Eijirou smirked, “I’m sorry, princess, I couldn’t help it. You wouldn’t believe the view”
You tried to hide the blush that crept up at the compliment. Biting your lip and looking in the other direction in an attempt to hide your smile.
“And here’s your underwear” Kirishima grabbed the lacy fabric that was visibly ripped off the bed. “But it probably won’t be much use to you now.”
“Oh” you blushed “That’s fine. Thanks anyway, I guess.”
“I can get you a pair of mine if you want.” he offered.
“No, that’s okay. I’ll be fine.” Great, now you have to get home without underwear.
“I don’t really cook, but I’m gonna order some breakfast, if you want to stay,” Kirishima suggested, secretly hoping you would say yes.
“Uh, I would love to. But, I-I have this thing. At work. Yeah, a work thing. So I should probably get to the office.” You lied, but who could blame you? 20 more minutes at his place and you would have to talk about the elephant in the room. Your brother.
Oh fuck, Katsuki. You had to have dinner with him tonight. You were hoping you could take a week to process and gather yourself before you had to face him.
Maybe if you called for a rain check? Faked sick? No, that would obviously indicate there was something wrong. Bakugous never got sick.
“Oh, sure. I get it. We lead busy lives.” Eijirou answered with a dreamy smile plastered on his face.
“I’ll see you around, yeah?” You said as you made your way to the front door, dressed in an oversized t-shirt, without underwear, your bra stuffed in your Balenciaga bag and wearing strappy black heels. You sure were a sight for sore eyes.
“I sure hope you do.” Kirishima thought to himself as he watched you leave his room, then head out the front door.
You were brought back to reality by the clinking of glasses.
“To our talented daughter. I always knew you would get far” your father smiled, looking over to your mother who bared an identical expression.
“To you, sister” Katsuki grumbled, though you knew he was being sincere.
The rest of the dinner went smoothly. You were just tipsy enough to hide your guilt without making a complete fool out of yourself. Your parted ways with your family and decided to have an early night at home. As you were falling asleep all you could think about was the night you spent with the red-haired hero, secretly hoping you would get to do it again.

Cherry Blossom Secrets p.1
Part 2
Pairing: Eijiro Kirishima x Reader
Word Count: 1341
Summary: Eijiro knew the one thing to never say to Y/n, the one thing that could only hurt coming from him, and he uses it as a weapon against them. Now he’s realizing just how much his life had begun to orbit around Y/n’s.
Inspired by She Used To Be Mine by Chloe Adams
Warnings: general angst. Bakugo’s normal name calling. The spilling of secrets.
A/N: It’s sad boi hours. I’ve been in the worst writing slump and I’m hoping writing and posting this will help me out of it.
Tumblr media
Eijiro pulled the top half of his hair into a bun, tying it with a scrunchie Y/n had left in his dorm months ago. He examined the inch of black grow out near his scalp, much longer than he was comfortable with. He hadn’t bleach and dyed his hair without help in almost a year and suddenly felt nervous while looking at the mixed bleach infront of him. He held the brush and bowl in his hand for a moment more before giving it one last mix and getting to work on his roots. Eijiro had forgotten how much effort went into hold your arms in all those weird positions to get the bleach everywhere. He called it a night, convincing himself he’ll dye it red in the morning before breakfast.
Laying in bed, Eijiro stared at the ceiling, taking a deep breath before turning onto his side and pulling the heavy blanket over his shoulders. A breeze from the window wafted the scent of cherry blossoms into the room and filling his senses. They hadn’t spoken to hime since then. Everything around him reminded him of them, from the way they would move his head around to make sure they hadn’t missed a single strand of hair without dye to how he’d found cherry blossom petals in his pocket after they had told him something they hadn’t told anyone else.
Eijiro Kirishima had never considered himself a coward since coming to UA, but that was changed with just one sentence that came out before he could think of what he was saying. His mouth went dry thinking about what had happened during training nearly a month ago. He shifted onto his back, looking up at the ceiling that was decorated in the glow in the dark stars Y/n had gifted him.
He knew better than to say what he did, but he was offended for Bakugo. The worst part was that they hadn’t been wrong. Bakugo wasn’t a team player whenever the two of them were partnered together, they wouldn’t be allowed a word of opinion when they were. But what he said was definitely lie, one that was meant to sting. It had even surprised Bakugo when he said it. But it was too late, he had already said it out loud: “maybe you’re just jealous cause Mineta’s quirk is more powerful then yours will ever be and you know it.” Had he said it to Kaminari or Mina, it would have been laughed off as a joke between friends, but Y/n wasn’t just one of the boys.
Y/n was the only other person other than Mina to know about his natural hair color, they knew he still sometimes slept with his old Crimson Riot plushy when he missed home, they knew Eijiro saw the sun and the stars when he looked into their eyes. And Eijiro knew the one thing to never say to Y/n was that they would never be as strong as the rest of class 3-A. Eijiro twisted and turned for hours until sleep finally over took him.
Eijiro woke up the next morning to his blaring alarm, reminding him he had to dye his hair before classes. He had barely made it to his seat when the bell rang and Mr Aizawa walking into the classroom.
“Since it is Monday, I will once again go over this weeks training,” Aizawa began to drone the same training schedule as the last few weeks to the class.
Eijiro took the time to look around the classroom and that’s when he notice’s Y/n desk was empty. He looks back forward, lost in thought of where they could be. They had never missed class, except when they had the stomach flu and Aizawa forced them to go back to the dorms to rest. A small blast on his desk pulled his attention from his thoughts. Bakugo spoke brash but Eijiro hadn’t heard the words he said.
“I’m sorry, what did you say?” Eijiro asks, shaking his head to gather his thoughts.
“I said, let’s go, Shitty Hair. It’s time to get changed for training. You good, Bro?” Bakugo repeated himself, his eyebrows knit together in confusion at the red head.
That’s when Eijiro realizes he dissociated for the entirety of first period.
“Where’s Y/n?” Eijiro asks before he can stop himself, a bad habit he has seemed to pick up recently.
“Y/n? Did you not hear what Aizawa said? Something about having a meeting with Principle Nezu or something. I assumed you were payin’ attention.” Bakugo said casually, walking towards the classroom door.
Eijiro’s blood ran cold at the mention of Principle Nezu. You didn’t get a private meeting with him unless it was something really serious. He continued to fester in his own thoughts throughout the rest of his classes. The school day was over before it started and Eijiro now sat on one of the common room couches, listening to Denki and Mina fight over who the better Smash player was. He felt someone walk behind him before stopping, as he went to turn around, a small chunk of his hair is pulled up towards the ceiling, causing his face to turn towards the carpet.
Y/n’s voice rang out for everyone to hear, little emotion attached to it, “looks like you missed a chunk of black while you were dying your hair.”
Eijiro quickly swipes the piece of hair down, turning to look at Y/n in disbelief.
“Oh, did I say something I shouldn’t have? Something you didn’t want everyone else knowing?” Y/n’s eyes were cold as they spoke.
Eijiro opened his mouth to speak, but Y/n turned and started walking away before he could say a word. He was shocked they would do something like that so casually, something that was such a big secret, and as Eijiro watched Y/n wait for the elevator, it made perfect sense why they did it. An eye for an eye, they had told him once, taking a black pawn that had just taken one of theirs. They had always been smarter than him when it came to strategy. They had also always been better at comebacks when insults were being thrown between them and Bakugo.
Mina and Y/n now sat in Mina’s dorm catching Y/n on the notes they had missed that day.
“So, why’d you have to miss all day of classes just to talk to the Big Mouse?” Mina’s cheery voice warms the room.
“I talked to more than just Principle Nezu,” Y/n sighed, continuing to copy Mina’s notes.
“Are you really going to leave the hero program?” Mina’s voice was now filled with concerned.
Y/n stopped writing, looking up to her best friend. “Who said I was leaving the hero course?”
“It’s all Kirishima has been muttering about since you got back to the dorms. He’s convinced he’s the reason you’re leaving the program. I tried to tell him if you were, it wouldn’t be because of something he had said on accident, but he wouldn’t listen. He made me promise I wouldn’t mention it to you. Finally, he stormed out and towards the running track. But I just have to ask, because this class would be so boring without you bossing Bakugo and Kirishima around.” Mina spoke quickly, the way she does when she knew she was spilling secret that she shouldn’t.
“N- no, I’m not leaving the hero course. He really thinks him being an asshole to me would make me drop the hero course? I’ve heard worse things from my own mother. It’s honestly very bold of him to think it’d be because something he said.” Y/n finished with a scoff, going back to copying Mina’s notes.
“So, you’re set on cutting him from your life then?” Mina’s voice was somewhere between irritated and sad.
“That is yet to be decided,” Y/n response, pretending to be more focused on their notes than the conversation.

Kirishima treats your cat the way someone would treat their S/O's parents
Eijiro is aware of how he, himself is the newcomer in the scenario. and refuses to pretend otherwise.
At their first encounter, kirishima was fully serious when he asked for your cats acceptance as your partner. Even slowly extending a hand to sniff. To say he was elated when your cat nudged his furry head against his palm would be an understatement.
Eijiro addresses the precious feline as "sir" and treats him with the upmost respect. Always spoken to with an attached "please" and/or "thank you"

Slice of Life Drabble : Eijiro Kirishima
Tumblr media
“No, no, no,” you mutter – just loud enough for the suited man at your left to eye you worriedly.
There’s coffee spilling between your fingers. Sticky, sugary, more-caramel-milk-than-actual-caffeine coffee.
You hiss as it slips under the cuff of your shirt, a thin trail trickling around the curve of your wrist.
The light flashes green and you soldier on, cheeks blazing at the trail of caramel macchiato you leave behind. Another man in a suit, talking obnoxiously loud into his brand new phone, knocks into your shoulder and sends a wave of blistering liquid down your front. He doesn’t notice, merely readjusts his grip on the briefcase at his side and continues shoving his way through the morning crowd.
Hot tears sting your eyes and you’re this close to throwing the cup on the ground and stomping back home. But even that doesn’t sound very appealing right now – just the thought of  a forty minute train ride with a sugary stain on your hand and shirt makes some of the tears spill over.
Your phone buzzes from its place at your hip, and you sniffle noisily as you raise it up, praying to any god that’ll listen that it’s not your boss.
“Um, hi?” Your voice is thick and wet and snotty.
You drop the half-full coffee cup into a bin.
It’s Eijiro.
“Baby! I’ve got to tell you about– Hold on, are you alright? You sound sick. Do you need me to bring you soup?” He sounds so sweet and so concerned and so warm that something in you just bursts and suddenly you’re sobbing in the middle of rush hour, surrounded by hundreds of salary men and women.
“Kiri,” you sniffle out.
“Baby what’s wrong?” You stare blankly down at your wrist, eyes misted over. “Nothing. Everything. Just a bad morning.”
“Baby,” he coos, just as worried.
You’re silent, squeezing your eyes shut as you shuffle into the shade of a building and out of the way of the bustling crowd. The Mustufu streets are a sea of grey and black blazers that all blend into one convoluted mass in your bleary eyes.
“Where are you?”
You glance up, swiping at your cheek as you take in the jaunty yellow exterior of the building. “Outside the Honeybee Tea shop. I’m late for work.”
Your phone buzzes against your cheek. It’s a text from your boss.
ARE YOU SICK? DID THE TRAIN CRASH? IS THERE A VILLAIN CRISIS I HAVEN’T HEARD OF YET?
You stifle a sob in the palm of your hand and slump back against the wall. Flecks of peeling amber paint cling to the back of your coat and embed themselves beneath your clawing nails.
“Don’t move.”
“Okay,” you whisper as the line clicks off.
Your arm drops limply to your side and you stare down at the scuffed tips of your shoes. They’re too tight around the heels and you can already feel a hot blister forming from your run to the train (which you still missed, of course). The ache of it isn’t that bad, you suppose, but it just adds to how unbearably uncomfortable you are right now.
You sag further into the wall.
There’s a shriek, one that has you clutching your phone to your chest, but it’s followed by shouts of glee and laughter.
“Red Riot! Red Riot! Can you sign my…um…shit I don’t have anything on me, can you sign my arm?”
Your gaze latches onto the scarlet spikes of hair easily. Eijiro towers over everyone around him, a hulk of rippling, well-trained muscle and a splash of colour against the monotonous grey of suits. As soon as your eyes meet he’s pushing through the crowd with practised grace, caging you in against the wall and blocking out the rest of the world with ease.
He’s always been handsome in his hero costume, and it’s made all the more apparent by your lack of recent contact.
A series of ill-timed patrols and late nights for you at the office had thrown a spanner into your usual routine. Maybe that’s why everything has felt so off recently. Maybe that’s why today feels so much worse than usual.
You’ve missed him.
Terribly.
Judging by the bone-crushing grip he has on your hips you’d say he’s felt the same.
“Oh baby. What happened here?”
Your bottom lip wobbles, lashes growing heavy as tears bead in your eyes once more.
You’re quickly pulled into his chest, nose smushed against hard pecs, no doubt leaving sticky smears of snot in your wake. You don’t have it in you to feel embarrassed.
“I have a spare shirt at the agency you can borrow, and there’s a coffee shop on the way – can you ask to work remotely today? You have your laptop on you right?”
You sniffle, rubbing a tear off on his sternum. “Yeah. I guess.”
“Let’s get you comfortable baby.”
