Massive Flower hill - Kochia (summer cypress) Japanese Flower Park famous autumn bush blue sky
If you enjoy the Video please leave it a like :) I upload Japan content a lot! Amaranthaceae Family (formerly chenopodiaceae) kochia genus Kochia (summer cypress) is an annual plant native to dry lands in the Eurasian Continent. As kochia grow, their colour changes from vibrant green in the summer to a greenish-red and finally to a bright scarlet in October.
Kochia bushes are known for their unique round shape and fluffy texture. Kochia were first planted in Hitachi Seaside Park so that visitors could enjoy the vibrant Autumn colours as most trees in the park are evergreen pines.
Area size around 1.9 hectares Total
number of plants 32,000
When to visit
Green kochia: mid-July – late September
Green-red gradient: early October
Scarlet red: mid-October
Golden: late October
Location Miharashi no Oka Hill
Cosmos flowers are one of the highlights of Japan's autumn months, and they often get the name of "autumn's cherry blossoms" owing to their color and beauty. There are numerous places to appreciate these colorful blooms across the country

Kochia Festival
Late September — Mid-October
From late September to mid-October thousands of kochia (summer cypress) turn Mirahashi Hill in Hitachi Seaside Park a crimson red. The deep red against a blue sky is truly a sight to see.

szeptucha
Tumblr media
Szeptucha (pronounced: sheptookha) - a witch specialized in healing, finding curses and taking rid of them, but also her own rituals. Her most powerful abilities require years of practice, usage of herbs and mountain crystals, and a lot of will. They are capable of summoning basic and small demons and spirits.
You could easily recognize her by the red tattoos depicting wind-like lines around her forearm. Usually you could meet her in the Kingdom of Pomorze, or Kingdom of Kochia. They are very secretive and reserved, live on the edge of the village or in the woods. Their houses are surrounded by herbs and little demons protecting her property.
Meet szeptuchas in my upcoming novel, Stories from "Under the Golden Cauldron", follow me for updates. Stay and slay, JMB.

Kochia is a plant of the subfamily Chenopodiaceae, which is part of the Amaranthaceae family. It is also called broom grass because it can be used as a tabletop broom by bundling its branches. They also swell the seeds to make a food called 'tonburi', also known as 'field caviar'.

"Beautiful kochia at Hitachi Seaside Park. When these kochia turns red, it gets crowed. But when they are green, there are not so many people. Btw, I still have the big brush. Where can I use it next?" Text and photography by kyoko1903
