Chapter 1
By: MuOn
Sheldon Cooper was sitting on the edge of his bed with his legs crossed, flipping through his dictionary. It was summer, one month since he had graduated from University of East Texas. As the days dragged on, he ran more and more out of things to read. He’d read every comic book he could get his hands on, even ones he didn’t care about. He’d even resorted to reading the cookbooks in his mother’s kitchen, and now knew how to make 32 different types of jello pie.
On this particular day, he couldn’t handle being inside any longer and regretfully dragged himself and his mother’s cookbook out onto the front porch to read. He’d only been sitting for 2 minutes when the neighbor kids noticed him. They quickly started making their way to the chair he was sitting on, until he could no longer pretend he didn’t see them.
He put the book down on his lap and looked up and then, unamused. “Can I help you?” He said.
“Learning how to be a housewife, Shelly?”
Sheldon closed his book to reveal the title. It read, “Everyday Texas Housewife’s Guide to Cooking to Please”. He sighed and opened the book to the page he’d left it at.
“No, I’ve just run out of other things to read,” He said, not making eye contact.
The oldest boy nudged his brother. “No, I think Sheldon’s decided to become a housewife!”
They both keeled over with laughter.
“I have not!”
“Oh, so then you’re learning how to please then?”
This comment confused him and he wasn’t sure how to respond. “I don’t understand,” he said.
“Of course you don’t, you brainiac freak,” The oldest boy said under his breath.
“Boys!” They all heard from a distance. “Come back where I can see you ‘fore I kick your asses!”
The boys turned their heads back at Sheldon and stared for a moment, then the older boy began to walk away.
The youngest boy leaned in and whispered, “See ‘ya later, faggot,” before running off and following his brother.
Sheldon sat still for a moment, watching them make their way back down the block, slightly baffled, and he usually wasn’t baffled. He had heard his fair share of mean words. Freak, brainiac, dickwad, shithead, and others. But that word was new. He needed to know what it meant. This led him back inside, on his bed, carefully looking through his dictionary, searching for the word.
“Ah ha,” he muttered as he pinpointed it and began to read. The book read, “a contemptuous term used to refer to a gay person, especially a gay man.”
Dumbfounded, he silently closed the book and put it back on its shelf. Now, Sheldon was 14 years old and had a college degree. He knew what a gay person was. He’d read more than one research project about gay animals recorded in the wild, which was a common topic of discussion in the neuroscience department, as it indicated that human homosexuality was nothing but another part of animal nature. But he couldn’t understand what he’d done to make the boys think that he was a homosexual. It wasn’t as if he was making any suggestive or lewd comments or committing an act of indecent exposure or reading anything suggestive or partaking in coitus with another boy. What on Earth could lead them to believe he was a homosexual? He decided the only way to find out would be to conduct an experiment.

Helpful Life Hacks: PERSONAL HYGIENE HACKS
Tumblr media
Maintaining good personal hygiene is an essential part of daily life. By taking care of your hygiene, you not only prevent the spread of germs and bacteria but also feel more confident and refreshed. Here are some personal hygiene hacks that can help both men and women stay clean and healthy without breaking the bank.
Use Coconut Oil as a Moisturizer
Tumblr media
Coconut oil is a natural and cost-effective moisturizer that is perfect for both men and women. It can help to nourish and hydrate your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. Simply apply a small amount of coconut oil to your skin after showering or shaving, and you're good to go.
Replace Your Towels Often
Tumblr media
Towels can be a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, which can cause skin irritation and infections. It's essential to replace your towels every few days to prevent the buildup of germs. To save time and money, consider buying a set of microfiber towels that are more absorbent and dry faster than regular towels.
Practice Proper Oral Hygiene
Tumblr media
A healthy mouth is an important part of personal hygiene. Brush your teeth twice a day for at least two minutes using a fluoride toothpaste to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Floss daily to remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth and use a mouthwash to freshen your breath.
Keep Your Feet Clean and Dry
Tumblr media
Our feet can be a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, which can cause foot odor, athlete's foot, and other infections. To prevent these issues, it's essential to keep your feet clean and dry. Wash your feet daily with soap and water, and dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes. Wear clean socks every day and change them if they become wet or sweaty.
Choose the Right Underwear
Tumblr media
Wearing the right underwear can make a big difference in your personal hygiene. Cotton underwear is breathable and absorbent, helping to prevent sweat and odor buildup. It's also essential to choose the right size and style to ensure that your underwear is comfortable and provides enough support.
Use a Bidet
Tumblr media
A bidet is a great alternative to toilet paper that can help to improve personal hygiene while reducing waste. It sprays water to clean the area after using the toilet, leaving you feeling clean and refreshed. Bidets are becoming more common in many countries, and there are many affordable options available online.
Keep Your Hair Clean and Healthy
Tumblr media
Your hair can be a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, which can cause dandruff, scalp infections, and hair loss. It's essential to keep your hair clean and healthy by washing it regularly with a shampoo that is appropriate for your hair type. Avoid using too much hair styling products, as they can clog your hair follicles and cause breakouts on your scalp.
Tumblr media
Maintaining good personal hygiene doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming. By following these hygiene hacks, you can stay clean and healthy without breaking the bank. Remember, good hygiene habits can also help to boost your confidence and make you feel more comfortable in your own skin.

Helpful Life Hacks: KITCHEN CLEANING HACKS
Tumblr media
The kitchen is the heart of every home, and it's also where a lot of messes and spills happen. Keeping your kitchen clean and organized can be a challenge, but with these kitchen cleaning hacks, you can make your kitchen a more efficient and enjoyable place to cook and eat.
Try Vinegar and Baking Soda to Clean Your Oven
Tumblr media
Cleaning your oven can be a daunting task, but using vinegar and baking soda can make it easier and more cost-effective. First, remove the oven racks and soak them in warm soapy water. Then, make a paste using baking soda and water and apply it to the inside of your oven. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight, and then wipe it down with a damp cloth. Finally, use a spray bottle with vinegar and water to clean any remaining residue and leave your oven smelling fresh.
Use a Lemon to Clean Your Cutting Board
Tumblr media
Cutting boards can harbor bacteria and odors, especially if they are made of wood. To clean your cutting board naturally, cut a lemon in half and rub it over the surface of your board. The citric acid in the lemon will help to kill bacteria and remove odors. Rinse the board with warm water, and let it dry completely before using it again.
Coffee Filters Can Clean Your Microwave
Tumblr media
Cleaning your microwave can be a hassle, especially if there are a lot of splatters and spills. But using a coffee filter can make it easier and more effective. Simply wet a coffee filter with water, and use it to wipe down the inside of your microwave. The coffee filter will trap any food particles and leave your microwave looking clean and shiny.
Dishwasher Can Clean Non-Dishware Items
Tumblr media
Dishwashers aren't just for dishes! You can use your dishwasher to clean a variety of items, such as plastic toys, baseball caps, and even gardening tools. Just make sure to put the items in a mesh bag or on the top rack to prevent damage during the wash cycle.
Use a Magnet to Store Your Knives
Tumblr media
Storing your knives in a drawer can be dangerous and dull them quickly. Instead, use a magnetic knife holder to store your knives safely and conveniently. Simply attach the magnetic strip to your kitchen wall or backsplash, and place your knives on it. This will not only keep your knives within reach but also prolong their sharpness.
A Lazy Susan is Great to Organize Your Spices
Tumblr media
Keeping your spices organized can be a challenge, but using a lazy Susan can make it easier to access and use them. Simply place your spice jars on the lazy Susan, and rotate it to find the spice you need. This will save you time and prevent you from buying duplicate spices.
Try Using a Paper Towel to Keep Your Greens Fresh
Tumblr media
Keeping your greens fresh can be a challenge, especially if you buy them in bulk. But using a paper towel can help to absorb moisture and prevent your greens from wilting. Simply place a paper towel in your vegetable crisper, and replace it every few days to keep your greens fresh and crisp.
Tumblr media
These kitchen hacks can help you save time and money while keeping your kitchen clean and organized. By using natural and cost-effective cleaning solutions, you can avoid harsh chemicals and keep your family safe and healthy. Remember, a clean and organized kitchen is not only more efficient but also more enjoyable to cook and eat in.

Apparently much-needed reminder that reposting artists' art (by saving the images or screenshotting them and reuploading them yourself) on other platforms without the artists' expressed permission and without credit is theft and an insult to their passion and craft. You are profiting (in views, in attention, in feedback) from someone else's work and ideas, who do not get that feedback for sharing their creation.
If you are an art reposter, you are a thief and I have no respect for you.
