I'm gonna ask a weird question but:
Is there anything you guys (aka y'all following me lol) want to see more of from me, in terms of a potential item(s)/service(s) to purchase?
Better explanation of what the fuck I'm waxing on abt below the cut. TW for talk of money/work/the overall state of things economically for me and my plans/goals/potential options to keep making things better.
I need to bring in more money. I'm getting more stable, trying to save on top of the generous donations I've been given while using them as needed for things we absolutely need (food, basic supplies/necessities.) But we're still so tight, and I know nearly everyone is dealing with some form of this right now bc Everything Sucks Economically on like. a level of how it felt in 2008 (extra terrifying feeling now) but. It's killing me. I can't take feeling like a burden like this. I have to do more.
I have been applying elsewhere, for FT, PT, and contract jobs that pay better, though I am hoping more for the FT positions of course. Thus far, I have not had any bites back that amounted to anything, but intend to continue my efforts regardless (because what else can I do there anyway?)
I've been trying to figure out other options, w/things I know I can do somewhat well to very well. All would be cheap, but hopefully would add up over time until I can get a FT job again and while I grind away at the current PT job (which I am hoping to add more hours to for the next semester, when they have us make our scheduling choices again and allow us to potentially add at least one more shift to our schedule.)
So, a poll. To gauge interest, and see if y'all have any opinions/would even potentially purchase anything like the below things from me. I'll try and detail each option below, but first, the options:
1. Photo Prints: I've done photography since high school, though I only have my current Pixel phone available for it right now. That said, they would be as cheap as I can get away with, and my Pixel actually doesn't do too badly, plus I would be editing these to make them as good looking as possible. Ideally, I'd have a Pay What You Want option instead, so ppl can just give whatever they think the print is worth since these will be smaller, amateur prints, but I'm not sure if all the platforms that usually handle photo print sales for smaller creators allow that. So, in that case, a range of probably $1-$5 at most for each print. They would be of things out here; I have access to and experience already with taking city and nature themed pictures (it was literally all I did in hs and since then bc of where I've lived.) So general city life/scenery, plus local wildlife like the birds, squirrels, and nature surrounding us in all seasons, plus any extra pictures I can take elsewhere whenever Housemate and I are out and about (aka probably lots of mountain and ocean shots.) My speciality when I had my other camera was micro/detailed photography, and I'd like to explore this with my current setup and see how they turn out and potentially offer those as well.
If it would help to see some current pictures that I am considering as the first set I would put up for sale, please reply on this post letting me know and I can post a couple as examples 🙌
2. Poetry Commissions: I have done these on and off since middle school, usually for friends/family. Nothing wild, but usually shorter, some rhyming, some free verse, poems on varying topics. I've done them for birthdays, holidays like Mother's Day and Father's Day, as well as with obits or for weddings, and even a baby shower, to go on the invites. I haven't posted much of what I've written in recent years, but as with the pictures, I would be happy to post some of the ones I've written before as examples. Poetry is where I have no fear and will work myself to the bone to provide the best work possible; if you can get me just the bare basic details (ex. You want a poem for your brother's bday. Give me his name, a couple of hobbies/likes of his, and two of your favourite memories with him and I'll write you something beautiful, to celebrate him and his place in your life and take the piss out of him too, depending on your relationship with your brother lol), I can get you a poem in a 2-4 day turnaround time for as low as 5¢/word. Electronic only, but you would get a PDF of the poem that you can do whatever you want with afterwards (I would require my name remain credited on any other posting/usage elsewhere, but you wouldn't have to pay me again if you want to reuse it for another brother, to harken back to our example.)
3. Data Entry/Transcription Assistance: This one is a pretty wide range of what I can offer. I have experience working with medical documents (neurology, ophthalmology, and optometry for specific specialities both in data entry and transcription) via two of my last jobs, technical documents from two prior jobs (public library and medical staff training specifically), and historical documents including both handwritten (including print and cursive) and typed documents and charts via my volunteer work with Zooniverse. This is my bread and butter in terms of general job skills, and one I genuinely enjoy. That means that I come into each job, regardless of field or exact task, with excitement and an open mind, ready to prioritise and organise everything to the requested system and/or standard, with the goal to go above and beyond that however possible. Usually I achieve this by completing projects as ahead of deadline as possible, as well as by taking on any additional related tasks as needed (example: you hired me on to type up all of Grandma's lifelong journal entries for archiving and easy reading at an upcoming family reunion, but now you've found that Grandpa has one too. For minimal to no additional cost, I will happily take that on and endeavour to have both sets of data typed up in an easy to send/print word doc and/or PDF well before the reunion deadline.) I am more than willing to take on contract/NDA required work for this option as well, and have done so in the past with a prior job (aka why I'm not allowed to share any of the clinic training docs I made.) Cost might depend some on project size and deadline, but a general estimate would be, to stick with our above example: $5 per 250/pg journal, with a small additional charge of $5 if a rush is requested (aka say the reunion gets moved up to three days from now vs three months or weeks.) I would endeavour to charge no higher than $25 with $5 rush fee if rush requested for bigger projects.
4. Research Assistance: More or less what it says on the tin. Can be for work, home related things, whatever (though if requested for school/in regards to homework, I only go as far as providing resource links because unfortunately, usually doing the research yourself is a part of the learning process. However, if you're struggling to find primary or secondary sources, I am happy to help find those for you so that you can peruse them to see if they'll have the information you're looking for. If they do, great! If they don't, then I would keep looking for more.) While research hasn't been my main task at any of my prior jobs, it has always been a feature in much of the day to day work regardless, and is a skill I have kept up in my volunteer work with Zooniverse on projects which requested it. Looking for sources for anything, from work projects to recipes can be a slog. Let me do it for you. Pricing on this I'm putting at $5. That's it. Pay me $5, and I'll find as much as I can in regards to whatever you have that needs researching. Turnaround might depend on project, but I'm leaning 1-4 days at the very most.

Does i7 actually have music? I know they're idols but I've never seen you mention any songs or units. (Sorry if this comes across as rude/mean, I'm just not sure how else to phrase this).
If they do, what's your favorite unit, music wise?
No no dont worry. Yeah im a guy who's usually more interested in stories than music, but they do very much have songs, and it's all on spotify if you want to listen. Some of the screenshots from yesterday are actually from official lyric videos (the hand holding, ioriku dancing, and the sherlock clock tower photos). My favorite songs are from my favorite group character and story wise too, so, Re:vale. Taiyo no Esperanza (seeing it in the anime after it having been my favorite i7 song for so long was a cultural reset. Especially because of what they did with the performance...no spoilers tho no spoilers), Silver Sky, Dis One, TO MY DEAREST!!!! Pretty much the entire Re:al Axis album. I havent listened to every i7 song tho i admit, i tend to focus on Re:vale the most. Look how beautiful the lyrics videos are though!. Idolish7 Trigger Zool and Re:vale (my fav video. How surprising, i know)
Other groups' songs i also like are Wonder Light, Imperial Chain, Never lose, my rule. Ah im so bad at remembering songs sorry. TENN'S COVER OF DIS ONE...that one's really good.

but also I'm kinda worried abt him... we've seen Bobby go through SO MUCH SHIT and he's NEVER gotten stressed enough to drop his human form. I think losing Dean & Jack again last month is rly weighing on him. he always did have a tendency to blame himself & take too much responsibility for "failing" to protect ppl. Especially re: all the shit set to go down august-october, this is a really, REALLY bad time for him to have his guard down.
I've seen some threads leading to President Robert Singer dying before this Harvest Moon*. I assumed he'd accomplish whatever he meant to with the whole "Running For President" thing, then fake his death and bail like always.

most of lily’s tenth anniversary activities are over now as the year comes to an end, but they still have quite a lot on their plates to prepare for the next chapter of their activities.
in early october, the members have yet another campaign shoot [2] in their role as ambassadors for casio baby g. on december 3, they will attend a new store opening for casio in itaewon and on december 4, they will hold a fan sign there.
around the same time in early october, the lily members will be called to a meeting to go over the details of their next comeback, which they’ll already be making in january with a new mini-album. album recordings, choreography practice, album visual shooting, fittings, and music video filming will all take place in the fourth quarter. most of the preparation will need to be completed by early december so that the music video for the title track can be filmed in the second week of december.
on november 5, lily will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
lily will also hold a concert ahead of their new era and to usher in the new year on december 31 and january first. the set list will consist of the first stages of their next title song, plus these songs as well as “i feel you”, “candle”, “rewind”, “catch me if you can”, and “mr. mr.”. each member will also perform a solo stage. they may choose a cover or they may perform an original song they’ve released (such as a single or an ost). the day after they finish stereotype promotions, candy is gathered for a meeting. bc staff has been monitoring fan communities and although their crowned original song so bad didn’t perform well on the charts, it was received with enthusiasm among fans. as such, bc has arranged for candy to release a special, limited release physical single album of so bad and a new b-side, like this, in november. it won’t be an official comeback, but candy will appear on music shows for a week from november 11 to november 17 to perform both songs.
in early october, candy will shoot pictorials for elle korea and cosmopolitan korea’s november issues.
on their fourth anniversary on october 23, candy will hold their annual anniversary fanmeeting. their fourth year anniversary also means that members are allowed to begin to move out of their group dorm.
when they release their special limited single album for so bad in november, they will film a 1thek suit dance video for so bad as well to further get fans used to a maturing image of candy. an it’s live performance of stereotype, an unplugged version of so bad, like this, and i’ll be there, and a waiting room live video of so bad will serve to counter lipsycning criticism. the marketing plan is quite successful and candy earns several trending moments on social media and in fan communities during this short period.
on november 12, candy will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
in late november and december, candy will give performances at the melon music awards, asia artist awards, kbs gayo daechukje, and sbs drama awards.

on october 15 and 16, polaris will hold their map of the soul tour encore concerts in seoul. these will serve as the official end to the tour and the members will get a short time time off from the constant performances until end of the year shows kick them into full gear again.
their hot 100 #1 has put them in the news more than ever and this means staff is talking a lot, too. there’s meetings and discussions about going even bigger for their next world tour and what their next comeback should be and even hopes for a grammy nomination for dynamite, but it’s a lot of meetings over anything else for the polaris members, as most of the organization for these things is out of their hands.
in early october, polaris will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings.
on october 29, polaris will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
polaris will appear on the november 30 episode of the late late show to perform dynamite, but they will film the performance in seoul on sets and at an airport, so no travel is necessary for this appearance.

quantumphase’s win on immortal songs last quarter has earned them quite a bit of newfound attention. it’s gained attention both from idol fan communities and some first generation idol fans who were impressed by their cover. they haven’t gone fully viral, but they’re going through a phase of being a hot topic online.
in the downtime between their last comeback and their slated next release next year, dimensions hopes to keep the buzz going by releasing a lot of content showing the members’ personalities onto youtube. throughout the fourth quarter, the members will be encouraged to film vlogs and a cover for upload onto youtube.
in early october, quantumphase will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings.
on november 9, quantumphase will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
in late november, they’ll film a new reality show that will be released beginning early next year called fever road. they’ll travel by bus to a mansion outside of seoul. they’ll have to complete missions during their stay in the mansion to escape and solve the mystery.
after they return from their short trip to film the reality show, the members of quantumphase will meet for the final details on their next mini-album. in december, studio recording for the songs will take place.
quantumphase will perform at the fact music awards, mama awards, and sbs gayo daejeon.

october will primarily be a break for the members of arcadia. they’re encouraged to use this time to relax, if need, or pursue individual activities if they prefer, though they will have to shoot for their seasons greetings during the month. by the end of october, they’ll be back to rehearsing for their base culture complex the opening mini-concert on november 5.
after that, most of the end of the year continues to be rehearsals. they’ll be holding a concert in february, as they’re informed at the beginning of october. the set list will consist of many of the group songs they’ve released so far, but will not include any of their pre-debut solo songs. they’ll also prepare a new song for the concert, which is likely to be a b-side on their next comeback (which they are told won’t be until the second quarter of next year).
as the end of the year approaches, arcadia has been invited to perform at mama awards, asia artist awards, and kbs gayo daechukje.

selene’s japanese single album décalcomanie -japanese ver.- will release on october 5. they’ll hold a special pre-release showcase at tower records in tokyo on october 4. they’ll hold two mini-concerts in tokyo on october 5 and two in osaka on october 6 to promote the release.
on october 9, the selene members are pulled into a meeting with the rest of the gold star media artists and are told there may be articles about gold star media being under special tax investigation soon. they are told not to worry about any news that comes out and not to speak about it at all, directly or indirectly.
early in october, in a meeting called for the group, they’re also let in on the big project their team has been working on, which will be a project called ‘four seasons, four colors" where they will release a mini-album, each representing a color and one of the members, for each season over the course of a year. in a meeting in early november, they’re given more details on the first mini-album, which will represent the color yellow, the season of spring, and the maknae of the group. they’ll begin to record the mini-album shortly after and the music video for the mini-album’s pre-release paint me will be filmed in early december.
on november 5, selene will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
on december 12, selene will film an appearance on immortal songs to air on december 17. they win the episode, making for their third win as a group on the show, the most by any idol group.
selene will perform at kbs gayo daechukje, mbc drama awards, and mbc gayo daejejeon in december.

on the day of their first comeback stage, november 29, the members will hold a mini-fanmeeting outside of the sbs studio. during this time, they’ll answer pre-approved fan submitted questions on post-it notes off of a board provided by staff.
on december 10, they’ll perform at an adidas event in seoul along with fellow adidas ambassadors cloud and ultraviolet. they’ll perform “a lie”, as well as “sentimental” and and “immature” off of their mini-album release earlier in the year.
platinum are slated to embark on another tour next year with stops in seoul, the u.s., and japan, so they will begin to rehearse songs for that this quarter as well. the setlist is not yet set in stone, but they will mainly be rehearsing their title tracks from over the years and recent b-sides.
they will perform at the mbc drama awards and mbc gayo daejejeon in december.

with both queendom promotions and crowned festivities over, the final quarter of the year is relaxed for equinox. gold star has ultimately decided it more beneficial to ensure equinox avoids overexposure and ride the attention from winning crowned for as long as they can instead of immediately banking on it by accepting all of the love calls equinox has received in the wake of their win.
two of their prizes for winning crowned were a special fanmeeting for crowned voters and a special exhibition at the base culture complex. equinox will hold their fanmeeting on october 30 with a halloween theme. all of the members will wear a costume to the fanmeeting and fans are encouraged to as well. they’ll answer questions, especially about crowned, play games, and give performances of “dazzle dazzle” and “queendom”.
once the base culture complex opens at the beginning of the month, their special exhibition will already be on display in the museum portion of the complex. this special exhibit will recount their journey from predebut to winning crowned and will include some of their most memorable stage outfits throughout the years, recreated music video sets, and never-before-seen behind the scenes footage, dance practices, and predebut footage. on october 14, the members will attend the exhibition after the complex (before its grand opening to the public) and film their visit. they’ll be expected to reminisce about memories the exhibition brings up. the video will be uploaded online as promotion for the special exhibition.
on october 9, the equinox members are pulled into a meeting with the rest of the gold star media artists and are told there may be articles about gold star media being under special tax investigation soon. they are told not to worry about any news that comes out and not to speak about it at all, directly or indirectly.
in the middle of october, they will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings. they will also record two new tracks for a re-release of their love pop wow!! japanese album in november.
on november 16, equinox will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.

catalyst finishes their beautiful world tour with one final concert on october 7 in monterrey, mexico. the members were originally promised two days off after the conclusion of their concert to vacation in mexico, but their flights are changed and they fly back to seoul the morning after their final concert. on october 9, they are pulled into a meeting with the rest of the gold star media artists and are told there may be articles about gold star media being under special tax investigation soon. they are told not to worry about any news that comes out and not to speak about it at all, directly or indirectly.
through the rest of october, the members will finish studio recordings for their next comeback mini-album. in october, they will also work on choreography, attending fitting sessions, and shooting album visuals. at the end of the month, they will film the music video for dramarama.
in the first half of october, catalyst will shoot their 2023 season’s greetings [2].
on november 12, catalyst will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
on october 26, catalyst will perform at a special kt concert as one of their ambassadors. they’ll perform “shine forever” ,”beautiful”, “kick it”, “cherry bomb”, and “do better”.
when catalyst makes their comeback on november 8, the platinum members will serve as their showcase mcs for a show of company solidarity. promotions for dramarama will follow the typical pattern with music show promotions, fansigns, and additional promotional content, such as a dingo van live video. behind the scenes, they’ll be busy at work preparing future projects, including lonely christmas (a special holiday single), mixtape: gone days (another special single to be released at the end of the year which will also get a muply special video), and upcoming japanese release spotlight. they’ll perform a special stage of lonely christmas on the december 24 episode of show! music core.
in november and december, they will perform at the mama awards, asia artists awards, and mbc gayo daejejeon.

in early october, ultraviolet will film a new commercial for adidas [2]. a new pictorial campaign will be shot at this time as well.
on october 9, they’ll attend a special hangul day event to promote a limited hangul edition of adidas ultraboost with a big name foreign athlete. ultraviolet will show up late to the event due to a last-minute internal meeting with the rest of the gold star media artists where they are told there may be articles about gold star media being under special tax investigation soon. they are told not to worry about any news that comes out and not to speak about it at all, directly or indirectly. their late arrival earns them negative press and gold star media does not issue any statements to explain their tardiness.
on october 15, they’ll hold a fansign outside of lotte world in their capacity as olens ambassadors.
-kill this love -jp ver.- is slated for release on october 12, but a few days before its release, it will be delayed two weeks to the end of the month, october 26, without any further explanation. in the days following the album’s release, the ultraviolet members will be in japan to film appearances on tv asahi’s music station and fuji tv’s love music. they’ll return to korea on october 30.
on november 5, ultraviolet will perform at a private event at paradise city hotel & resort in incheon for the hotel’s vip guestlist.
on november 12, ultraviolet will perform a mini-concert at the base culture complex for its opening concert series.
ultraviolet won’t make many public appearances as a group in november as they prepare to return to tour after several months on december 7 with a concert at tokyo dome. for this concert, they’ll switch out several of the korean songs on their setlist for the japanese versions and prepare new cover stages.
on december 10, they’ll perform at an adidas event in seoul along with fellow adidas ambassadors platinum and cloud. they’ll perform “adios”, as well as “kill this love” and and “don’t know what to do” off of their mini-album release earlier in the year.
the only year-end show they’ll be attending is kbs gayo daechukje.
