Second half – Ravenholm, zombie, river, water
I continue to play second Half Life. And game still surprise about how much variation it has. So, I, already, imagine Half Life a certain way. It is everything orange, industrial buildings, small town. Water, river. So, it looks, everything is going this way. And here is the news. So, there are more episodes with transport.
With water boat, buggy. So, this means, you need to ride at free open space also a long time. And next - full change in location – up to the zombie shooter. It is Ravenholm. We don’t go to Ravenholm… -it is called like this, this level. And everything – it is still second Half Life. It has a very big variation of gameplay.
At first, a water boat. And it has some gun on it. And we travel on a boat. And it is a battle with helicopter. Water is made here with a big beautiful. So, also, some task about how to move forward by river. There are sideroads, going to the dead-end. But, anyway, you are exploring this river. And everything around river. It is very interesting process. You have a feel of a big world. And you are already understanding something about this world. And you have lots of interactions.
There is some dam here. You leave the boat, and go to explore what is it in the dam. Something to push a button. And, think what to do next. I think for a long time what to do next here. So, you need to go to the boat and jump. And go by river forward.
Later, it is about riding with a buggy on a road and territory. By the road there is some distance. And, well, mainly, straight through the territory by sand and earth. And all the time, from the ground, they are rising - these creatures – ant lions. They are like circles, like crab creatures. They are not dangerous while you are riding. But, because of them, you are in all the time riding. Forward. Territory here is big. And it is pretty open space for riding.
And one special place - it is Ravenholm. It is place where it is night and zombies in a city. So, it is a description of this location. But, by the way, it is goes very good with main Half Life line. Style is change for a horror movie about zombies. There are lots of them. And game is made with a talent. It is like a zombie movie. So, jump over rooftops. Explore buildings. We are inside small town, full of zombies. Well, they are not zombies. And, these people, with crabs on the head. And other mutants. Big feeling.
And, I don’t know why, but I thought that it will be in some episodes. And, heard, something about zombie location in game. Some guys speak to each other about it. When game was released. I remember that. And now I can see everything by myself.
So, I am inside a horror movie. And next is going a mines zone. So, it is also a special place. You are falling into it. And it is dark there, and there are lots of head crabs there. It is unreal a lot of them. With so big amount of them – they are very dangerous.
