“Here I COME!” Mitsuri sprinted at him out of nowhere- leaving Giyu with two choices; run for his life or fight back.
Unfortunately for him, his thought process was too slow, leaving him to be tackled into one of the Love Hashira’s ultimate bear hugs. At least he had the sense to brace this time for it.
“Tomioka! How are you? You didn’t really talk much today, so I came to check on you!” Mitsuri smiled up at him like the sun, her expression so warm and inviting it was hard not to smile back.
Giyu unfortunately was one of those people who found shade to it. “Hey, Kanroji. I’m er- fine. Can you let me go?”
“What? Fine?” Mitsuri glared- her expression more a pout than anything. “I don’t believe you! How can you be fine when all day you looked ready to cry?”
“When did I-” He began, but she cut him off.
“Nope! You’ve lied to me, Tomioka! And you know what liars get…” She adjusted her grip so her fingers were poised over his ribs. “They get..tickles!”
“Kanroj-MMPH!” Giyu all but jerked in her arms as she attacked his ribs, fingers dancing into all the sensitive spots. “Kanroji, wa-hait!”
“Hm? Was that..No way!” She was smiling from ear to ear, eyes dancing. “I didn’t know you were ticklish! And here I thought you were immune!”
Giyu would have asked why she still tried tickling him if she thought he was, but he was far too busy fighting the urge to giggle like a child. “K-Kanrohohoji, hahahahng ohoohohn! Aheahhaahha, eahhahahahahaha wahahhahhait!”
“Tomioka, you’re laughing! How cute!” Mitsuri squealed in glee, both hands tickling with reckless abandon as she lifted the water Hashira off the ground. “Tickle tickle tickle, Tomioka~”
Giyu learned after that day to make sure and talk to Mitsuri at least once a day. She still tickled him from time to time though.
He’d be lying if he said he hated it.

You know what? Max and Vanessa would have gotten along quite well and I’m sad that we’ll never see that friendship (or romance, I’m down for that).
Apparently a lot of Max was cut off (and I’m not talking about her bottom half). Like, her brother was more than just a dick, someone that she felt glad being away from (as she said in a cut dialogue), and I feel that money wise she wasn’t much better than Mike.
And she had a dog named Bones. WE COULD HAVE SEEN BONES.
I feel that Vanessa is one to just- bring home animals of all kind and nurse them back to health (‘if not friend, why friend shaped?’ And the friend in question is a hawk that hit her window). So they would definitely bound over Bones.
And, you know, the fact that they both deal with family of questionable morality and don’t really have anyone to turn to.
I hope that in the novelisation we get to see more of her, and finger crossed, maybe they even meet.

“Boo.” Tengen poked Sanemi’s sides from behind, intending to scare.
“Aahha!” The jerk of surprise was expected. The startled laugh wasn’t.
Frozen, Sanemi slowly looked over his shoulder, cheeks hot as he leaned away from Tengen’s growing grin.
A beat of silence- the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife.
“This is the part where you run.”
Sanemi all but sprinted, putting all his years training as a Hashira into his feet as he dashed for safety. Behind, Tengen cackled, a delightful sound that sent shivers of anticipation across the shorter man’s skin. “Here I come, Sanemi~”
With a choked swear, Sanemi raced into the nearest courtyard, scrambling for the nearest bush. Seconds later, Tengen arrived, looking around.
“Sanemi~ I know you’re here~” He called, making his voice high and sing-song. “You can’t hide from me, Sanemi dear; I can always hear you laughing!”
Damn! Sanemi pressed a hand over his mouth, fighting the giggles down as he watched Tengen spin in place, hands to his ears and standing on his toes. The sight never failed to get him snickering.
Tengen paused suddenly, eyes brightening. “Gotcha.”
“Wha-” He didn’t have a chance. Within a matter of seconds, Tengen had his ankle, pulling him clean out of the bush and into his arms. “Shit!”
“Found you!” Tengen laughed, one hand keeping Sanemi close as the other latched onto his side, squeezing and pressing into his ribs as he tickled his boyfriend senseless. “Think you could hide from me, windchime?”
“Shihiihih-ehhahahahhhaa, Thehehehehehengehehehehehehn! Yoohoohohu ahahahhahahss!” Sanemi cried, flailing like a cat in the bigger man’s arms. His cheeks were getting redder by the second- the pet name not helping one bit. “Lehehehet mehehehe goohoohoho!”
“No way! I wanna hold you close and never let you go!” Spinning them around like a lovesick school girl, Tengen kept up his tickle attack along the smaller man’s sides and stomach, filling the air with his giggly swears and squeaks. “Besides, you’re not fighting back- clearly you love this!”
“Shuhuhuhuhut uhuuhuhhp! Ahehahahaha, gohohohohod Tehheheehhen! Ihihihi’m gehheehhetting siihihihihck!” The twirling stopped, as did the tickles. Tengen kept him in his arms though as he gasped for air, running a hand through his messy hair. “Yohohohour’e tohoohho much.”
“You love it.” Tengen grinned, puckering his lips at him and making loud kissy noises. Sanemi rolled his eyes before reaching up, pulling his chin down towards him.
“I love you- you big oaf. Don’t forget it.” He kissed Tengen’s grinning mouth before he could respond, melting when the other kissed him back without a second of hesitation.

You know there’s one fic, I often go back to read because I just like and honestly it was the most interesting ship: Asundered, it’s a Sunder x Swerve Fic, where Sunder gets proper therapy aboard the lost light after the shizz that happens and he kinda starts bonding and vibing with Swerve while pretty much no else like him for obvious reasons (Whirl tries to kill’em) the fic wasn’t finish but I like reading it regardless
