I've come to the conclusion that I will not be posting a review of the episode that contains "Poison" because it is storyboarded by a rape fetishist and has not been taken seriously by either Vivziepop or the storyboard artist in question. Taking into the fact that Vivziepop has joked about the visual and the visual of the song contains Angel being SA'd is incredibly vile that it pisses me off every time I see it.

There are far better ways to show an audience how a character experiences SA. This is not one of those ways. And it's the fact that the storyboard artist in question posted this to his Instagram, trying to twist the narrative that he has a "CNC" kink and Vivziepop is trending because of it when it is simply not true.

CNC, also known as Consentual-Non-Consent, requires something called Consent. What Angel and Valentino have isn't consensual in the slightest, and they know it. I have not been sexually assaulted in my life. However, I do know friends who have and my mother has as well when she was younger.

This show does not address SA in a mature way. It moreso comes off as if it's a fetish to both Vivziepop and Raphielle, and I just can not watch an episode that is literally the definition of this image.

I do plan on watching the other episodes of Hazbin and likely dropping it after the first season, but the "Poison" episode in particular? Not in a million fucking years.
