Let's tune out the noise and focus on some langlangding / JunZhe candies, shall we?

June 6-7, 2021 - Origin of the "Drink plenty of water" lld saying

Gong Jun released a small video saying he caught a cold a few days ago~

And Zhang Zhehan's weibo posted saying: "Drink plenty of water, drink plenty of water, drink plenty of water."

It's implied that he posted this in response to JunJun's post, since it was unusual for him to post something so random. The pictures attached are also just him drinking Perrier Sparkling Water, which he never endorsed :>. Source Below:

210609 - Gong Jun asks the livestream host to speak Zhang Zhehan's name!

The livestream host read out the winners of a giveaway. Some names were CP fans, and one of them was "fan of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan." But she wouldn't say his name. This is per etiquette bc they should have broken CP already, it was past the WOH/SHL airing period and after the concert. HOWEVER, Gong Jun insisted that she say his name because "it's not nice" to skip it!

June 10, 2021 - ZZH posts on weibo saying: "My mustache/beard has its own thoughts."

It's implied that his beard/mustache may be JunJun, and he can say whatever tf he wants >:).

Also the kadian is 21:46= the same seat number that ZZH was photographed next to during his mini concert~

June 16, 2021 - ZZH sings Unbreakable Love with changed lyrics, LLD handsign, GJ possible background vocals

ZZH sang Unbreakable Love on a show and changed some of the lyrics around.

The song ends normally with

"I walked past the rooftop where I watched the meteor shower with you." - he sang this during the rehearsal as well (3 different times, 3 x the same original lyrics)

During the 4th rehearsal he changed it to:

"where I survived the long rooftop with you"

During the LIVE performance, he changed it to:

"I walked past the rooftop where I survived the long distance and the wait."

He sang the song with tears in his eyes, and after he finished, he wiped his tears off (cries and screams)!!

There's also a point in the song where he purposely points at his ear piece, waits for the BG vocals to start, and then sings. There's a noticeable difference in BG vocals vs the rehearsal, which also is available on YT. We think that GJ may have provided his vocals for this surprise part of the performance~ Source

June 27, 2021 - GJ and ZZH reply to each other on Weibo with videos

GJ posted on Weibo saying, "This summer, go meet the person you want to meet."

ZZH's studio, on the same day, posted on Weibo with him singing a line from his new song (now unreleased) named, Run To Meet You.

They're definitely talking about each other, and I'm NOT surprised that ZH wrote a whole song about running to meet Gong Jun, considering they were extremely busy during that time and had very few chances to see each other. At least nowadays, I'm sure they can spend lots of quality time together <3 <3

These two really never slowed down hahaha, I miss them!

Any headcanons for Jon-El?

Jon-El my beloved,, I got a lot for him but I'll make it quick ❤🖤

-Actually hates the name "Jon-El" because one, he thinks it's stupid that his superhero name is his real name while his dad gets to be Superman and two, he already had a superhero name picked for his super identity: "Phoenix" to match his fire powers but his dad refused to let him be called anything but "Jon-El" just so the family looked better.

- Since he's the opposite of Jon, Jon-El got into dance instead of sports. And not like TikTok dancing, professional dance and it shows in his fighting style. It's more grateful and smooth compared to his dad's.

- This is implied in canon but since it never was confirmed, I'm calling it a headcanon.

He hated fame, hated being in the spotlight, he never asked for it but his parents pretty much forced it onto him and never asked how he felt about it. He'd cry during limo rides to whatever model photo shoot or talk show appearance his parents shipped him off and then his stylist (who met him there) would get mad at him for ruining his makeup.

And if he looked too bad to fix, they'd make him wear sunglasses and warm him to not take them off.

- Had an emotional breakdown in a dressing room and got a "stop being over dramatic" from the adults around him, no one helped. His mom was worried when she found out but his dad just shrugged it off as "he'll learn to handle stress better and not make a scene."

Wow that's enough angst, here's some lighter hcs that take place in an better world where Jon-El lives with the Kents (because what even was his character "ending" in canon?? actually awful)

- Favorite holiday is Halloween because it reminds him of his home World.

- Changes his name to Jones since Jon already took the name Jonathan Kent in this Kent Family, but Jon and Jordan call him Biz (short for Bizarro of course). And call him their Jones Brother.

- After all the shit he was put through by people, he's no longer wants to be around anyone besides the Kents and is very much an animal person because of it. He misses the family cat Krypto.

- Despite hating his celebrity image, he liked having his makeup done and doesn't feel right without it so ends up asking Lois for help since his stylist/makeup artist used to do it for him and he doesn't know how. Those are their mother-bizarro son moments.

- Talks backwards at random since he's went 15 years talking like: "Uoy era woh, yeh?" and it's not easy to stop doing. Also has a backwards heartbeat (that might be canon though? I don't remember) and writes words backwards, that he doesn't know how to correct for the "forwards" earth.

Really sorry if you’ve answered or talked about this already but would it be possible for you to go into detail about public reaction to when WoH aired? I’m so curious to know how it went from “they will have no chemistry” to one of the most popular shows in 2021 so far.

We did what we could to promote it since it dropped out of nowhere without prior notice, but most of the credit really goes to the random passerbyes that gave it a chance and shared clips on weibo and douyin. The most famous one was a GIF of Wen Kexing sitting on the wall fanning himself in episode 2. It went viral and made so many people look into the show.

And of course there was the scene of Wen Kexing complimenting Zhou Zishu's...sword.

People were very impressed with how hard they went in with the romance, especially since they left no room for doubt about the nature of Wen Kexing's relationship with Gu Xiang. The reason viewers were surprised with this, is because dangai dramas always have "safety nets". For example, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty's added female lead and The Untamed's Wen Qing. The protagonists don't actually end up with the women but there's enough tension and hints that suggest attraction. People initially expected the same thing for Gu Xiang until the inn scene where Wen Kexing went dad mode when he caught her on her "date". This encouraged people to watch the show as it was airing instead of waiting for reviews after the finale, because they were confident enough with what they had seen so far that it won't pull a sudden het romance.

About eight episodes in and viewers were complimenting the quality of the script, mostly that the pacing was very good and the dialogue was clever. WOH's producer, Ma Tao, was initially told to remove the poetry from the dialogue because it might confuse viewers but she declined and said that the audience can always try to learn. Chinese dramas are plagued with dumbed down scripts, so this a big deal. This helped attract audiences beyond the usual scope of danmei fans, and must be part of the reason why a surprisingly large (compared to other danmei adaptations) percentage of WOH viewers are men. The CEO of weibo also watched it by the way 😂

When people first talked about the casting, much of the criticism was focused on ZZH, but there were also those who had seen GJ's previous dramas and said that he always has little to no chemistry with his costars. This was brought up again during the early episodes of WOH, because lots of people remarked that GJ was like a completely different actor with ZZH. Eventually, people who initially had misgivings gave it a chance and WOH debuted on douban with a rating of 8.2 (for comparison, dramas usually debut with a 6 or lower)

It wasn't always smooth sailing, though. There was a certain large fandom that was not happy with WOH's good reception. GJ and ZZH were not popular to begin with and there were like 60 of us progenitor llds, we literally had no way of fighting against them and it was hell for us during the first week with all the hate against GJ and ZZH, accusations of copying and plagiarism, etc etc. Eventually, rumours started circulating that they were planning on mass reporting WOH to get it taken down. This pissed off the danmei community in general who just wanted to watch the damn show and they helped fight back. Things only settled and people felt that the show was safe when a state sponsored newspaper published a positive article about WOH, praising it for bringing back the wuxia genre for the younger generation.

That fandom was still causing trouble, but it was easier to tune out knowing the show was safe. The show's reputation kept getting better and the rating climbed from 8.2 to 8.3. Episode 12 was the one that propelled the ranking to 8.6 because of the "basking in the sun" scene.

It was around this time that Tencent was buying up trending topics for their older shows to push WOH down from the trends (because it was trending everyday) and the incredibly high douban rating drew in more negative attention and there were cases of organized mass one star ratings from that fandom, but thankfully the rating stayed up. WOH kept their 8.6 until the finale and was ranked number one romance drama of March 2021 on Maoyan.

Restless Rewatch: The Untamed, Episode 25, part one

Holy crap, Episode 25! We’re halfway through! *Cue Bon Jovi*

Hunt Invitation

After taking a nice long break to watch Word of Honor pick lotus pods, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli return to stressing over the shitshow that is the post-Sunshot cultivation world. Jin Zixuan has come to invite them to the Phoenix Mountain Hunt, with a special invitation from his mother to Jiang Yanli. Jiang Cheng reacts to this in a mature and reasonable manner, while Wei Wuxian...doesn't.

On the surface, Jiang Cheng has matured in recent months; much more than Wei Wuxian, with his secret burdens, has. But it's only on the surface, as we'll see later in the episode, when Jiang Cheng's insecurity will take the reins.

Jin Zixuan is adorably pleased by Jiang Yanli's acceptance of the invitation. Wei Wuxian is less pleased, but sort of tries to suck it up.

Jin Zixuan kind of undercuts the romance of his errand by asking Wei Wuxian for the Yin tiger amulet as soon as Jiang Yanli is out of earshot.

As always, Jin Zixuan makes an impression by being the best Jin currently in existence, but the Jins are terrible. JZX is working to advance his dad's ambitions, and as such he is currently Wei Wuxian's enemy.

Opening Ceremonies

There's a bunch of cultivators arranged for the opening ceremony. Later someone will say that this is more than 5 thousand people. Ok, sure.

As I've said before, it's best to think of it like a theatre production and assume the other 4,900 people are offstage or, you know, painted on the backdrop.

The young lead cultivators from the four main clans are standing together. Nie Huaisang is trying out some new body armor.

The clan leaders are seated up on the stage, along with Jin Furen and Jiang Yanli. Unfortunately Jin Furen doesn't seem to have a personal name that I can discover. Her title Fūrén ( 夫人) means she's the primary wife of the head of the family, according to this excellent meta.

So “Madame Jin” is a decent translation...if you're French? I feel like instead of English subtitles including borrowed words from French (”Marquis” in NIH), Greek (”Water of Lethe” in WOH), and other European languages, we could try borrowing Chinese words instead. Jin Zixuan's mom is titled, not named, Jin Furen. Since we don’t know her actual name, I'll call her that and abbreviate it JFR.

Wei Wuxian's childishness continues at the opening of the hunt, as does Jiang Yanli's encouragement of his childishness. I know she's had a rough couple of years, and it's understandable to want to baby her little brother out of a sense of nostalgia. But it's not good for him, and she shouldn't do it; she should encourage him to be more mature, just as she does with Jiang Cheng.

War Crimes Contest

Jin Guangyao says they're going to have an archery competition, and they're going to liven it up by endangering some prisoners. These prisoners are Wens in Wen cultivator uniforms, meaning they're not the noncombatants that were being hunted down earlier. But they’re still helpless people in chains.

There are three different reactions when the Wen prisoners are brought out. All the Jins are pleased, or neutral. All of the Jiangs, including Wei Wuxian, are upset.

The Nies and the Lans, what we see of them, are a little shocked, but not obviously upset. Based on those reactions, it seems like this is a maneuver that in-world is considered shocking and cruel, but not necessarily unethical or immoral. Shocking, cruel displays of power are pretty normal in this world; remember when Wen Chao lit a Lan cultivator on fire just to say hello, and nobody complained?

This whole scenario, of course, has been designed to provoke Wei Wuxian. One major goal of this event, and the whole reason for wanting Wei Wuxian to come, is to get the Yin Tiger amulet. Making him lose his shit in front of 100 5000 cultivators is a good step toward compelling him to hand the amulet over.

We see Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli both signaling Wei Wuxian to keep it together, and he takes a step back and tries to chill.

Meanwhile, Jin Zixuan seems annoyed by all this, and goes to take a shot at it, making it clear from his demeanor that this is easy and JGY is making a show of nothing.

He hovers in the air and makes a perfect shot, pleasing most of the crowd and impressing Jiang Yanli.

Then his cousin Jin Zixun taunts the crowd, challenging anyone to do better. This presents a bit of a problem for Wei Wuxian. For the sake of the Wen prisoners, Wei Wuxian should just take this taunting and let the contest end, if no-one else is willing to take a shot. But for the sake of the Jiang Clan’s status, and his continued control of the Yin Tiger amulet, he needs to put the Jins in their place.

Every Day is Blindfold Day

This moral dilemma is resolved with an abrupt tonal shift, where the humanitarian concerns of all parties seem to vanish. Wei Wuxian flirts embarrassingly with Lan Wangji and then goes as far over the top in besting Jin Zixuan as it's possible to go.

The flirting hits differently, incidentally, when you edit Jiang Cheng's annoyed reaction out of it:

Lan Wangji doesn't seem embarrassed by Wei Wuxian's request, despite it happening in front of 100 5000 of their fellow cultivators. He looks Wei Wuxian straight in the eye for longer than necessary before turning away; it’s not exactly stern disapproval. We’ll get very used to this look, in Wei Wuxian’s second life.

Fortunately, Wei Wuxian carries a blindfold with him wherever he goes, (gifset here), and he is such a good cultivator he can hit 5 parallel targets simultaneously without even holding his bow straight or tightening the string.

(OP fixed the angle of the bow for this gif, which is why everyone is standing on a hill in the background).

Everyone is pleased by this shot except Jins Guangyao and Zixun; even the Jin cultivators are clapping, and Madame Jin is presumably this happy any time Jin Guangyao’s plans go wrong.

With that they start the hunt. Jin Zixun challenges Wei Wuxian to do the whole hunt blindfolded. Wei Wuxian agrees, but the censorship committee said no, apparently, so we don’t get to see that.

Flute Hunting

We do get to see Wei Wuxian luring monsters into his nets by being too sexy for his robe, too sexy for his robe, and playing the flute.

We also get to see Jiang cultivators looking puzzled while random monster roars happen in the woods around them. We do not get to see any monsters, which is probably just as well.

Jiang Cheng is annoyed and concerned, muttering "I told you not to overdo it" which means he didn't, you know, tell Wei Wuxian NOT to do this, just not to do it quite so well. Jiang Cheng knows what Wei Wuxian’s abilities are and he is making use of him, as he should, but he doesn’t have the courage of his convictions.

Tree Confession

Wei Wuxian sees Lan Wangji and starts to say hi, but then he has a desaturated flashback to Lan Xichen telling him to back off, so he stops himself. But then Lan Wangji comes over to talk to him.

Lan Wangji starts off talking to him about his latest anti-resentment musical discoveries, and Wei Wuxian pushes back, even calling him Lan Wangji, but gently. Wei Wuxian asks "who am I to you?" and Lan Wangji turns the question right back at him, then waits a looooooong time, eyes downcast, while Wei Wuxian thinks of a serious answer.

Wei Wuxian says "I used to treat you as my zhījǐ" --which, as we’ve discussed before, is variously translated soulmate, confidant, intimate friend--with a strong meaning of "the person who truly knows me." Lan Wangji says "I still am." Coming from Lan Wangji, who NEVER says how he feels about Wei Wuxian or about anything, really, this sounds a lot like a confession of love.

It definitely takes the form, visually, of a love confession, as Lan Wangji speaks, then gazes at Wei Wuxian while he waits for a reply. Wei Wuxian's reply is this:

I don't think Wei Wuxian is oblivious (I'm speaking strictly of CQL, not MZDS, as always with these posts; they are different works). I think he loves Lan Wangji back, and knows it. But Chenqing and everything it represents are between them.

Lan Wangji is quite literally NOT his zhījǐ any more, because he doesn't truly know Wei Wuxian right now. He loves him desperately, but he doesn't know about his core, and hasn't accepted his cultivation method. So Wei Wuxian answers his confession by showing him Chenqing, effectively declining to accept his still-conditional love.

Snake Measuring

Next we get terrible hetero courtship in the form of Jin Zixuan finding snake discharge on the ground and talking to Jiang Yanli about comparative snake measuring. Seriously: that is the actual conversation that they are having.

Jin Zixuan boasts for a bit, and then awkwardly tries to ask Jiang Yanli on a date. When she turns him down he gets mad, because he's a typical heterosexual dude even though he's secretly a delightful person...very, very secretly. Jiang Yanli, for her part, can't string a fucking sentence together to save her life whenever he's around, so she's not helping their mutual understanding.

Lan Wangji attempts to hold Wei Wuxian back from beating Jin Zixuan’s ass yet again, but eventually JYL wants to leave, JZX tells her to wait, and WWX intervenes. Why doesn't Jiang Yanli have a maid or Jiang cultivator with her while she's on a date, incidentally? Jin vs. Jiang

Wei Wuxian jumps in between Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan, which JZX objects to. Jin Zixuan has no fucking business objecting and Wei Wuxian is 100% right, at this point. As soon as WWX shows up JZX should hand her off to her Shidi, bow, and leave her the fuck alone. Instead, he draws his sword on Wei Wuxian, and kind of on Jiang Yanli since she's right behind Wei Wuxian. Fortunately, Lan Wangji blocks him.

This instantly blows up into a Jiang-Jin Clan conflict, with Jiang Cheng unfortunately absent since he let his unmarried sister go off in the woods alone with the son of the Cultivaton world's most famous lecher. It looks like it’s a personal conflict, but since Jin Zixuan already told Wei Wuxian directly that Jin Guangshan wants his amulet, any arguments between them are part of a larger power struggle.

Cousin Jin Zixun comes running up to start shit. Wei Wuxian pretends--I am SURE he's pretending--not to know who he is. The dude hassles Wei Wuxian every time he sees him; Wei Wuxian is a troll, and right now CJXZ is butting in to something that doesn't concern him. Rather than argue, Wei Wuxian insults him by telling him he’s not memorable.

Jin Furen shows up with several maids and cultivator dudes in tow, which is the proper way for a highborn woman to wander around in the woods. She also brings Clan Leader Yao, because if it's Wei Wuxian Blaming Hours, Yao is going to be there.

I initially found the deep friendship between superhot Yi Zuyuan and dumpy Jin Furen implausible, but then I remembered that my lifelong bestie is a smokin' hot redhead with impeccable fashion sense, while I am a roly-poly nerd. Friends don’t always match. Also, Jin Furen's actress, Hu Xiaoting, looks like this:

...so she is actually hot in real life. Not as hot as Zhang Jingtong (who plays Yu Ziyuan) but literally nobody is as hot as Zhang Jingtong. Don't @ me, you know I'm right.

This is a heck of a long scene, so we’ll pick it up in part two!

From the moment your relationship with Nagito became official, you wanted kids!

The idea of a bunch of little people calling you and Nagito their parents made you very excited- but also scary as shit

Not to mention the whole process 😫 you’re too busy doing hot girl shit

So- it’s just your luck when you’re placed with the task of adopting 4 kids.

More like a last minute decision that Nagito went along with-

You were kinda scared that Nagito wouldn’t want them 😔

But he was honestly scared that they wouldn’t like him, that he won’t be a good dad, and that his luck would screw something up.

It took a little convincing and uplifting to make him feel better. You promised him that they would like him no matter what!

The moment it was official that you two were gonna be parents, Nagito was excited as hell-

The second the both of you got home, he immediately started rambling about how you two should decorate their rooms and throw a little party to welcome them home-

Seeing him so hopeful filled you with hope, which filled him with hope, an endless loop of hope between you and Nagito!

Now, this is Nagito, and no matter how excited he may seem and act, there’s still a little bit of fear and self depreciation inside of him.

But he ignored it, and kept his head high for you and your future demon spawn children!

It was actually quite expensive 👁 since rich boy Nagito fucking splurged-

Didn’t cut any corners and only bought the best of the best for the WOH-

Clothes, toys, decorations, shit for school- what a good father.

10/10 dad-

The day you two were able to bring them home, Nagito was scared shitless-

Fidgeting and freaking out the whole way to the agency, it took a while to calm him down, but you managed-

Took a lot for him not to cry a little when you two saw them-

It obviously wasn’t the first time you saw them, not even the first time you saw them in person- but this time you got to take them home!

When you all got home he happily showed Kotoko, Nagisa, Jataro and Masaru their rooms!

Specifically Nagisa, Jataro, and Masaru’s shared room + Kotoko’s own room!

Insert an excited ass Kotoko, completely calm Nagisa and Jataro, and a jealous Masaru,,,

It was fine, everything was fine and there were no issues at all ☁️

It’s a very wholesome family 😌 little issues, and filled Nagito with hope!

He’s a surprisingly good dad—

He still has his random self depreciation moments, times where he feels like a shitty parent when he couldn’t help them in some way or couldn’t help you help them-

But he manages to keep on good terms with them, even when they got angry for no reason because kids do that ig-

He cares ☁️

He’s the type of dad who carries a first-aid kit with him when he goes to the park in case someone gets hurt-

He isnt all that good with comforting, so that’s your job-

813 - The Reprise - Part 8 - Uncle Li's account deleted days before Unmute - April 8, 2022

Sigh, I just wish one time when I wake up and check social media, it'll be good news?

Summary so far:

The context of what's happening may help us better understand this decision.

I reference blue here - she's gone and compiled a lot of important tweets on the case of Xie Yihua / the BDY Teashop / ZSJ.

1. Gong Jun and cyberviolence

Currently, GJ is being heavily slandered, had his private information hacked, and is pursuing legal action against all the perpetrators. Toxic ZZH solo fans are also a part of the problem here, as well as usage of "water armies" etc to spread rumors. We don't know who exactly paid for this to happen, but it's happened before during the heyday of ZZH/GJ promotion in 2021. There may also be evidence linking Xie Yihua, ZZH's ex-music manager in this.

2. Xie Yihua, ZZH's ex-music manager, takes advantage

ZZH's name is being misused and taken advantage of by his ex-music Manager, Xie Yihua ("hua-jie"). She and her relatives are in charge of a company that is producing ZZH-related merchandise, under the guise of it benefitting him (it's public information, he receives no profit from it). She actually registered trademarks for merch in March 2022, right after LXZ got muted. Curious, isn't it? (Sources in QV's tweet history, I forget which one it was, THERE'S SO MANY THINGS ABOUT XIE)

She is actively collaborating with many "fandom" personalities to promote this new brand, actively stealing ZZH's identity for her own benefit. These collaborators include but are not limited to: other solo fans, Hu Laoshi (that older writer lady who really liked ZZH during WOH), and unfortunately, Zhang Su (Susu) - ZZH's childhood friend. Susu said himself that he hasn't had much recent interaction with ZZH himself, and he thinks he's supporting his "bro" by wearing the merchandise - this is as far as anyone knows, no one knows anything about their true relationship. Perhaps it's just misguided loyalty, perhaps he has other things to gain.

Even solo fans are angry at her. A prominent solo fan (and toxic GJ anti) even came out and said that she knew Xie Yihua was going to do this months before bc Xie consulted with her and other fans about it, and felt that she was taking advantage of traumatized fans.

There's been a lot of evidence dug up by QV/Flora/Blue/etc on the bird app disproving any connection between ZZH and these impersonations. For example, this analysis on ZZH's writing style: ZSJ, the prominent ZZH impersonator, likes to write essays about random shit. But he uses érhuà, a specific way to add the r-sound to spoken Mandarin. However, ZZH is from Beijing, and his native accent - he actually doesn't know how to use this or chooses not to.

Anyway, have a look at the sources cited above for more info on that matter.

3. The muting and deletion of Uncle Li, Li Xuezhang (LXZ).

Uncle Li stood up for ZZH when no one else would, in November, he took a stand against CAPA and rallied public perception in ZZH's favor. His hashtags trended up to billions, public opinion shifted. (Refer to my masterpost for the history of this).

He then got "muted" by weibo - Weibo likes to silence people all the time. I suspect it's because Uncle Li was actually causing a huge stir behind the scenes, in the darkest parts of c-ent - that he was a threat. So they muted him on the pretense that he shouldn't be bringing up these battles during the Beijing Olympics 2022. That was February.

He was due to be unmuted by Weibo (120 day mute) this Sunday, April 10. But. Today, people have found that his account was deleted.

And this his Drama's studio account (Roving Inspection Team) posts an important message from LXZ himself:

"During this critical moment, our Director Li has something to say, "no matter what I believe in justice and the leadership of the Party towards a more just society. I'm well. Thank you for your concerns. I hope everyone focus on their real jobs, abide the law, and use our powers to repay our country, love our Party and our government! Social media will not have LXZ going forward. Thank you everyone!" - QV translation

So Uncle Li has decided to exit social media.

4. What does all of this mean?

All right all right everyone, let's stay calm and give this news time to settle. The very fact that Weibo decided to delete his account rather than let him continue SPEAKING by UNMUTING HIM, must mean that he's a very large threat to whoever is behind all of this. The curious coincidence of Xie Yihua making and promoting merch right after LXZ gets muted is interesting too. My hypothesis is this:

ZZH was banned by malicious forces working together to take him down due to some perceived threat that they believed he possessed. He was, and still is, a very strong force in c-ent. Seeing this moneymaking opportunity leave, his ex-music manager, Xie Yihua, combined talents with some of these very forces to manipulate him out of the usage of his own name, and thus milking his name for money, and giving him none of it. (Despicable). QV has already shown that Xie Yihua may have ties to CAPA itself and that she has quite the debt to repay.

The Gong Jun slander is a part of the puzzle, possibly trying to incite fans and distract from the real happenings of this illegal enterprise.

So, many people involved are jumping on this bandwagon to milk ZZH's name for more money. The most important and driving factor of corruption scandals is $$$. Follow the money, right? Well, it all leads back to ZZH's powerful name, CAPA, Xie Yihua.

Because Uncle Li was going to come back and start uniting the fandoms again, and probably start laying into Xie Yihua for acting illegally, and in DOING SO, start DISRUPTING this new money-making scheme. So? His account is deleted.

There is no doubt in my mind, and I am always full of doubts (that's due to my 10+ yrs of training as a research scientist) - that these are all impersonations - NOT the real ZZH. And that they are THREATENED by the truth coming out. AND THAT MUST MEAN THAT-

The police case IRL is still going, and probably going well. Not only that, QV, and the twitter folks are doing an excellent job in disseminating information that is actively threatening this new scam Xie Yihua is running. I'd recommend staying tuned this weekend.

Now, I could be wrong, that's definitely possible. But only time will tell. Uncle Li's legacy inspired us to continue staying strong and fighting against corruption in c-ent lol - what a strange way to live the fandom experience. As I've always seen, whenever there's a void, there will always be those who will step up and fill it.

5. Right now, it feels a bit hopeless and dark

It's always darkest before dawn - I think what we've all been through together is something that will tie us together forever lol. This fandom, through collective trauma, rebuilding self-confidence, will find the light again. I don't doubt it for a second. You are free to take breaks, do something else, come back when you want to. But I will be here, I don't think I can leave - I need to see this to the end, whatever end that may be.

As someone who loves good storytelling - Word of Honor caught my attention forever, and this IRL drama still isn't over!

I'd like to quote from one of the greatest experiences I've ever had, a story led me through darkness and despair -

"Hear - the song at creation's end. Feel - the agony of hope's demise. Think - and find your way in the darkness.
