The leia in a wheelbarrow was post finding out about the awl remake, i drew it in an insomniatic stupor since my brain refused to let me relax enough to sleep. Still pretty dang pleased with it.
Ford was a sketch to get him ready for a halloween collab project, ludus i ran out of steam on but coloured just enough that he'd still be easily recognisable (iirc i started drawing him on a bad headache day...) and the other two poot charas are from a collab too. I think i over rendered them both so they both look a lil oddly over textured but they were fun at least.
So this is what I spent a majority of October and November working on:
I participated in the Ranch Story discord Design A Candidate event, where a writer and an artist were randomly paired up and together they designed a marriage candidate for a Story of Seasons or Rune Factory type game. It was a TON of fun and everybody made such amazing candidates for the event. I would have married any of them in a heartbeat if they were in the games.
I had the privilege of being on two teams, and by coincidence, got to make 2 Rune Factory-type candidates!
I've gone ahead and posted what I wrote up for the character events on AO3. Follow the links if you're so inclined.
AMIRAH
A dwarven craftswoman, and divorcee. She's content with her life, raising her daughter and taking care of her family while also running her business. The one day an Amnesiac RF Protagonist wanders into town and takes her on a journey of Business Partners to Lovers.
(the MILF candidate we deserve, damnit!)
THOREAU S. MONTGOMERY DE SAINTE-COQUILLE
aka. Monty or Monster Guy.
A Monster Veterinarian and gentle giant with nothing but love to give for all the monsters and creatures of the world. He prefers the company of monsters to people, and can be a bit of an outcast. But depending on your attitude towards monsters he can be your strongest ally or your worst enemy.
The issue with zooming out has been fixed on all three on 4th August 2023 so I recommend reinstalling these mods
Functional, but only opens as much as it's narrower counterpart that it was cloned and edited from. Feel free to make your own swatches as well ♥ Took me hours to get the original wider door working properly so please don't steal (and definetily no uploading elsewhere without asking me first, paysites are a no-no in any case).
EA swatches on all except IEQ-Sims4-Wider-Stall-Door.package.
Regarding the Wider-STall-Door-w-custombars... Please note this noob was unable to make the bars look any nicer no matter how hard she tried. They're lacking in shades etc as I was unable to make them recolorable (fought with UV mapping and everything but too much of a noob to make them any better). BUT they do change shade alongside the main door's metal parts so you can recolor them alongside the door like that.
IEQ-Sims4-Wider-Stall-Door and No bars-door has correct shadows too, the custom bar one still has the original EA mesh shadows.
i was recording alternative reverse proposals in anwl(2 out of 3 of them suck lol) and pony was hungry during one of these cutscenes, so i made art based on that
So this character, Petra is an original character from a community collaboration event where every one teamed up in pairs to do the illustration or writing development for a fan created concept of a love interest in the bokumono/rune factory series.
The event was quite fun, but honestly pretty gruelling in how intense it was to fully develop a character even just with the visuals on my plate, especially with focusing on it mostly for three months or so. Hats off to character designers and developers out there you've got one mighty difficult job.
^This was the alpha character art for petra (based on my collab partner's character made via perler beads) before we realised that didn't fit the project brief for the art side of things lol. I still think her fluffy hair is super cute though.
Here is my collab partner's half of the collab, he did an amazing job. C:
I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*
