A Little Sister Goes A Long Way.

Ramona Quimby (Joey King) is a grade-school student with a big imagination. So big, in fact, that she often clashes with her no-nonsense teacher Mrs. Meacham. When Ramona's upbeat dad Robert loses his job, the family - including her teenage sister, Beezus (Selena Gomez) and their practical-minded mother - must make major adjustments, like dad learning how to run the house. Ramona dreams up various plans to make money so that she can save their house, but because everybody in the family seems too preoccupied to help her with her own worries, she turns to the one person who always has time for her, Aunt Bea. But even Aunt Bea (Ginnifer Goodwin) is distracted these days because of her ex-boyfriend and next-door neighbour Hobart (Josh Duhamel).

Through all the ups and downs of childhood, Ramona and Beezus learn that anything's possible when you believe in yourself and rely on each other.

This adorable family film is available to watch on Disney Plus.

Joey King plays Ramona, a 9 year old little girl who is very mischievous but also extraordinary. Selena Gomez plays her older sister Beezus.

When Josh Duhamel slide out from under that car, I thought to myself "oooh this film just got a whole lot better!"

Ginnifer Goodwin stars as Aunt Bea and Josh Duhamel is Quimby family's handsome next door neighbour and Aunt Bea's ex-boyfriend who she's still in love with.

This movie is so wholesome. Little Ramona sets up a Lemonade Stand in the front yard to help her family when her dad loses his job! Awwwh cute!

If you love feel good family films with happy endings, this Disney film is worth watching.

Ramona And Beezus

I underestimate my choice in my younger selfs taste in media. I mean, I know I liked a lot of things as a kid. I played a lot of Pokemon, read a hecking lot of books, and watched a lot of TV. But, y'know? Do I go back and look at most of it? No, no I do not. And I've been rediscovering a lot of this stuff, the stuff I'd almost forgotten about. The last time I wrote about something from my childhood it was a favorite book of mine when I was a kid, today we're talking about the amazing movie called Ramona and Beezus, which starred a very young Joey King and a teenage Selena Gomez.

Watching this movie made me realize that I have an amazing sense of humor. I don't think I stopped laughing from the moment this film began to the second it ended. I just have to say, Joey King REALLY nailed this role and now I want to watch more of her work.

Some of my favorite moments from this film are when Ramona got stuck upside down on the monkey bars, or when she cracked a raw egg on her head and then made a funny face because the photographer told her to say "peas" instead of cheese. The photo made me laugh every single time I saw it. The interactions between Ramona and Beezus made me laugh every single time, too. From the lemonade scene, the gummy bears, and all the way to the end I couldn't help but think of how *accurate* they are as siblings.

This movie is top tier and I'm glad I rewatched it because it's easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. The acting is top tier and I think everyone needs to watch this movie once in their lives. Sure, it's probably not life changing, but it'll definitely give you a good laugh. And I think a good laugh is the best thing you can ever get out of a movie.
