Looks like Kasai has turned the living room in his new place into a little El Desperado shrine. He has both masks from their singles matches together, and the rose Desperado returned to him sealed in a glass jar alongside artwork from Rolling Cradle.

(The word Kasai uses here for "man" is 漢 - one he frequently uses for El Desperado. I'm not sure how to get it across in an English translation, but as I understand it, it's intended to imply a sense of a "real man" or an exceptionally masculine man, in a complimentary sense.)

It was now the usual time of day for the General, he usually trains new students in battle. However today he was playing a game of chess with an aquaintence of his. She seemed rather intriguing to him.

Her name was Jiayi and she was the last of her kind, a nekomata.

She couldn't help but yearn for his company more, however so many girls always approach him. So she decided not to say anything at all. Her intense gaze at the board was merely so she didn't have to deal with those beautiful amber gold eyes of Jing Yuan. However this plan was about to fold completely as he made his next move, snapping her out of her thoughts and forced herself to look up at him.

"Your move my dear." He said to her.

His voice was something only the Aeons or Gods probably made to torture any girl that can not have him, oh how it hurt her every time to listen to him.

Unfortunately one of the few girls that decided to pay a visit at the worst time ever, wanted him to sign her book. Jiayi simply stayed silent watching the interaction, not showing a shred of emotion. If only he knew how in love she was with him that it hurt her just to keep this a secret from him.

Once the girl was gone, he sat back down to the game as though nothing just happened."I can see you are distracted. Care to tell me what is troubling you?."

These words were almost enough to break her completely,"I-uh no nothing is really troubling me."

Her words did not seem to convince the General, he got up and held out his hand to her."Come, lets go for a walk. Perhaps you will be willing to speak then."

Jiayi was speechless at how he seemed to read her like a book, she relented and takes his hand. His hands felt rough from heavy use, yet soft in a way that one can not begin to describe. He did not even let her hand go, this lead to heat rising to her face and a light pink dusting her cheeks.

After a moment she gathered up her strongest resolve and finally said this to him,"I-I love you ,and you hurting me. Every time you talk to these girls that beg your attention, everytime they get what they want from you. It hurts me everytime. It hurts me everytime to simply look on while you give other girls what they want. I never ask for anything except maybe-."

Her words were stopped right there as his lips sealed hers, her mind suddenly went blank forgetting what she wanted to say.

Parting the kiss he had cupped her face in his hands, her smaller frame now rather obvious at this time. His thumb brushed a stray tear away as he shakes his head seemingly amused."Those girls are merely fans, you however are worth far more. You are more like the rarest gem that I found per chance and I don't regret it. I was unsure how you felt as you intrigued me during the times we spent together."

Leaning in with his forehead pressed against hers he whispered,"Aeons I love you so much. You are my undoing my little Ji Ji."

They both shared a gentle yet passionate kiss that lead to him swooping her up into his arms, just needing her soft warm body to warm him up. He adored her soft purrs when he runs his fingers through her soft silky hair. He knew precisely where to rub her ears to comfort her.

Huzzah!!!! We’ve reached the 1 yr mark, and come to an end 😫😱😭💕❤️
