How much of ancient Egyptian culture was actually from Sub Saharan Africa?
Sub- Sahara is a made-up colonial term. There is no other part of history of the world that uses geo-graphics to demarking people and their cultures.
Tumblr media
Where in the above map is a “Sub- Sahara” culture relevant?
No, seriously? What is the relevance of a Sub-Saharan culture in Ethiopia? Or Sudan? So as soon as you come out of the desert the culture changes? Like magic? So the culture of Ethiopia and the culture of South Africa are unified because they are below the Sahara, but the culture between the Kalahari desert top and bottom are unified? Makes sense? What about other desert bands?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again what is the significance of a desert to the cultural contributions of Egypt?
Has the large desert band in Arabia been used to articulate Arab culture? NO! SO Arabs can cross deserts with their language and culture but Africans cannot.

The Czersk Wreck
Tumblr media
The almost perfectly preserved punt wreck was found not far from Czersk Castle in 2009 in Poland. The boat was 30 metres long, had a flat bottom and in its rear part was a shed for the captain. The crew of the ship consisted of 16 to 20 people. Therefore, the wealthiest landowners who lived on the largest rivers could usually afford to own a boat. The ships mainly transported grain from the interior of the country to Danzig, from where it was sent out into the world. Dating revealed that it dates from the 15th century, and it is now being conserved and will probably also be displayed near the castle.

The Queen and King of Punt 𓊪𓃹𓈖𓏏𓈉 “pwnt” The land of Punt was an ancient kingdom known from Ancient Egyptian 𓂋𓐝𓎀𓀂𓀭𓏪 “rmṯ” trade records. It produced and exported gold, aromatic resins, blackwood, ebony, ivory 𓍋𓃀𓅱𓌟 “3bw” and wild animals. It is possible that it corresponds to Opone in Somalia. According to the temple 𓉞𓏏𓉐 “ḥw.t” reliefs, the Land of Punt was ruled at that time by King Parahu and Queen Ati. This well illustrated expedition of Hatshepsut (𓇋𓏠𓈖𓎸𓏏𓄂𓏏𓀼𓏪) “imn-ẖnmt ḥA.t-šps.wt” ‘United with Amun, Foremost of Nobel Ladies’ occurred in Year 9 𓆳𓊪𓏏𓏤𓎆𓐂 “rnp.t 9” of the female pharaoh's reign. 𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬𓋹𓎬 @egyptologylessons 𓋹𓊽𓋴𓆖𓎛𓇳𓎛 © 𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁𓊁 #Ancientegypt #ägypten #egyptology #egypte #egitto #埃及 #مصر #egipto #이집트 #punt #queen #king #hatshpesut #journey #voyage https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp-dfDtu31s/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

HOW DIFFERENT CULTURES OF THE NILE VALLEY RELATED TO ONE ANOTHER
First, Kemet, also known as Ta-Meri (The Loving Land) (Egypt)
The second is Kush, or Ta-Seti (Land of the Bow) (Sudan)
Ta-Netjer, or Punt (Land of the Gods), is the third location (Somalia, Nothern kenya)
Nile Valley Civilization is made up of these three distinct cultures. Ta-Meri, Ta-Netjer, and Ta-Seti were all their own distinct nations. However, they shared a common history, economy, and religion.
These three Nile Valley cultures have open lines of communication with one another. African science, philosophy, spiritual beliefs, and agricultural technology coalesced to form the basis of Kemet, which in turn sowed the seeds of civilization.

3300-year-old baboon skull may tell of mysterious ancient kingdom
East African artifact may be first known treasure recovered from the “fantasy land” of Punt
Ancient Egyptian legends tell of a magical faraway land where intrepid travelers could obtain wondrous products including gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The Land of Punt—or "God's land" as the Egyptians occasionally dubbed it—served as the setting for what has been described as the oldest known fantasy story. Archaeologists are convinced Punt really existed, and now they may have their hands on the first known Puntite treasure: a 3300-year-old baboon skull that may have come from the fabled land.
The Egyptians first began to travel to Punt about 4500 years ago and continued to do so for more than 1000 years, according to their hieroglyphic written records. But although those records and artworks list the products the Egyptians brought back from Punt—resins, metals, hardwoods, and exotic animals—archaeologists have found little hard evidence of these goods.
That may change with the baboon skull. Nathaniel Dominy, a primatologist at Dartmouth College, and colleagues discovered it archived away at the British Museum. The remains belong to a hamadryas baboon discovered by 19th century archaeologists in the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes. The Egyptians revered hamadryas baboons as the embodiment of Thoth, a god of wisdom, and also connected the primates with Amun-Ra, the great Sun god. But the primates are not native to Egypt...

Mountains of the Moon  is an ancient term referring to a legendary mountain or mountain range in east Africa at the source of the Nile River. Various identifications have been made in modern times, the Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo being the most celebrated.
Eventually, a merchant named Diogenes reported that he had traveled inland from Rhapta in East Africa for twenty-five days and had found the source of the Nile. He reported that it flowed from a group of massive mountains into a series of large lakes. He reported the natives called this range the Mountains of the Moon because of their snowcapped whiteness

When were the Indigenous Egyptians driven out of Egypt?
Many moved South (from where they originated in the first place) to as far as today's Tanzania and beyond, during the Arab conquest of the ancient Egypt and North Africa as a whole — in the 7th century CE; and some kept on gradually moving away to South thereafter, as the number of (modern) Arabs and other newcomers was increasing. A few of them however still remain to this day.
Now from the country being purely inhabited by these African people, to only a few of them remain today, it's amazing to realize how much racism and discrimination they endured for many years, which caused them to flee their motherland!
They originated from sub-Saharan East Africa, from Punt, the Land of the God, at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon.
Tumblr media
A brief history is: the ancient Egypt was inhabited by only these African people up until around the year 332 BCE when the first fair-skinned looking people — Macedonian Greeks started to migrate into the land. These Macedonian Greeks became Copt over 300 years later, in the First century CE. So there were no diverse populations before 332 BCE! The indigenous inhabitants were purely these Africans
