Just finished my summer class (and year one of my grad program) so it is time for me to take a vacation and see family and friends. I'll be away from my Sims computer for the next month, so I won't be uploading any new projects, but I'll be checking in from time to time. There were a couple projects I tried to get up before I left, but I just couldn't finish them in time (including something I teased like 2 months ago lol). Here's an incomplete rundown of what I'll have coming in late summer / early fall:
A new 3t2 lot recreation
"Reimagining" of La Fiesta Tech's Shallow Valley Library
at least one new TM default (possibly two if I decide what to do with @lucilla-sims excellent 4t2 EP06 Jersey Buttoned)
6-7 new pieces of LBB content (includes full outfits AND some more separates, because I enjoy suffering)
2-3 miscellaneous pieces of CAS content I made for my own game that maybe somebody (anybody?) will find useful
More old TS2 Exchange lots, including the final 2 lrussim2 lots that I have, potentially some lots by Cireking213 (aka CK213 for TS3 and beyond), and maybe a recreation of a lot that I can't find elsewhere)
Whatever else I think of / am forgetting
Happy end of Pride Month! Happy Simming! I'll see you in August!
Turns out the project may need something else to hold it, so turning this into a third project since it was too small for the original project and put that one in a bag to decide what to do with it later. However, couldn’t find anything bigger in size earlier for the original project. May have to look around somewhere else for something, but it’s definitely the time while having it there for the Third project. If the other doesn’t fit, then something else will. Mostly due to the size being that it cannot be shoved into place.
all the news going around with unity's really got me worried for games that are already several years into development like Hollow Knight Silksong and Billie Bust up.
Just rough because I don't suppose a whole lot of games are going to be able to pivot game engines, let alone so late in development. Like it is easier said than done to pivot early in development but i've been following the development of several games that are years in at this point and the fact that they're grandfathering older titles into this is just... it's just bad.
The potential loss of games in terms of archival on such a massive scale....
