Nyx with his aunts and uncles 🥹
Trying to do push-ups with Uncle Cass, with his chubby little baby arms but just flops on his baby belly. Then he gets distracted, climbs on Uncle Cass’ back and yells go horse-y! Uncle Cass obliges of course.
Going on surveillance with Uncle Az and blowing his cover when he just waddles out or jumps out because some animal caught his attention. Uncle Az’s shadows are on Nyx’s side. Uncle Az shrugs and decides this is still better than chaperoning Nesta and Cassian.
Auntie Mor day drinking and Nyx “accidentally” taking a sip while she’s not looking. He’s hiccuping for the next hour but Auntie Mor shrugs and says eh, cheers little buddy, don’t tell mama and papa.
Auntie Amren glaring down at Nyx, who looks up with big blue purple eyes. She walks away thinking her death glare will get rid of him but Nyx just waddles after her. Auntie Amren starts discussing strategy saying, since no one else in this house has anything useful to teach you anyway.
Trying to take away Auntie Nesta’s book to get her attention but ends up getting curious. Auntie Nesta freaks out, closes it shut and says that’s not for little eyes! She tries to find a kid friendly book and realizes there’s none. Auntie Nesta lowkey spoils him, fyi.
Trying to help Auntie Elain in the garden. She turns around and he’s gone, appears a few minutes later with dirt all over, flowers and grass sticking out of his ears, nose, hair, butt, all over his clothes and definitely chewing on a plant. Auntie Elain rolls around in the grass with Nyx, who’s squealing and giggling into the sky, not a single care in the world.
Babbling on Uncle Lulu’s lap (yes he will call him Uncle Lulu), chewing and pulling his hair, messing up his braids, poking his eye nonstop then yelling fire fire fire! Uncle Lulu asks himself how he went from despising Rhysand to letting his son mess up his immaculate hair, drool on him and doing fire tricks for him but he does it anyway and Nyx is the happiest baby.
I was not a big fan of the whole baby-pregnancy-from-hell plot but you just can’t help but love Nyx (he’s a baby, you guys!), who is definitely his father’s son just from his dramatic entrance 💕✨🌙👑🦇

If n.esta was “just being mean” to Feyre for years when she did nothing wrong besides bring home food while being out in the woods all day. Than Morrigan and Amren were “just being mean” in acosf too. They are traumatized too right? And since the impact of words don’t matter when n.esta do it, it’s only fair to extend that to everyone else..I really don’t care how much older they are. N.esta is older than Feyre and no one lets that be a reason why she shouldn’t treat feyre like that. Especially, since majority of what they said wasn’t even to her face unlike n.esta who didn’t even let feyre put her foot through the door before calling her a pig or threatening to slit her throat or (similar to amren words) telling feyre that no one would remember her if she was gone…
Morrigan and Amren are queens..love them for keeping the same energy. They don’t owe n.esta kindness unlike n.esta who owed feyre everything.. Feyre is morrigan sister, and sisters don’t like people who treat their family wrong

I hate how the acotar fandom constantly put the women against each other. Especially the Archeron’s. Like just stfu and stop being such petty bitches and just appreciate the women in the series.
They’re all dealing with their own shit and deserve some respect and praise for how far they’ve all come. And we see through their actions and how they communicate with others that they’re still heavily dealing with their trauma. Yes, even Amren. None is better than the other. They’ve all done questionable/controversial stuff so there’s literally no point putting them against each other. No one is winning. And I swear to god shut up with the goddamn internalised misogyny at your grown ass age.
And if you can’t do any of that then just leave the fandom. It’s not that difficult!!!

You know the acotar fandom is f*cked when the Archeron sisters, Gwyn, Mor and Amren get more hate than Tamlin, Amarantha or the King of Hybern. One who’s a known abuser, the other a r*pist and the last, a coloniser…where the hell did we go wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️

Everyone has their ACOTAR Nyx theories but I’m here to tell you Nyx’s favorite person will be Amren. Who has no experience with kids and wants nothing to do with him intentionally (except his well being of course).
But whenever they all get together he ignore uncle Cassian, Aunt Nesta, Mum, Dad and everyone else, just goes straight to Amren.
And she pretends to hate it, and hold him begrudgingly, but she really adores the small child.

Is Amren Prophetic?
Most of SJMs hints are initially subtle and only make sense once you read further into the series then look back. But I wonder if, because of what Amren once was (Old Testament-like Angel), she has a level of unknown Prophetic ability. Elain sees detailed events while Amren seems to have a generalized idea of the future. Not that she even thinks anything of what she's saying but it does seem her statements come into being.
Example:
But wear the Crown, and you could make your enemies do your bidding. Could make a parent slaughter their child, aware of the horror but unable to stop themselves.”
This happened when Cassian was being controlled, in the Queens attempt to kill Nesta.
Amren said a bit softly, “If you want his killing blow, girl, it’s yours.”
I still think Elain deserves credit for also killing the King because Nesta would not be alive had Elain not stabbed him. It was because of Elain that he was incapacitated. But there is truth in the fact that Nesta did force his death much quicker by beheading him.
Amren said this in ACOWAR:
“When you erupt, girl, make sure it is felt across worlds.”
And this happened in ACOSF:
The baying of her magic was a beast with no name. Avalanches cascaded down the cliffs in seas of glittering white. Trees bent and ruptured in the wake of the power that shattered from her. Distant seas drew back from their shores, then raced in waves toward them again. Glasses shook and shattered in Velaris, books tumbled off the shelves in Helion’s thousand libraries, and the remnants of a run-down cottage in the human lands crumbled into a pile of rubble.
Here are other things I think Amren may have unknowingly prophecized:
“There are many types of strength beyond the ability to wield a blade and end lives. Amren told me that yesterday.”
It seems like she was referring to Nesta but as we saw in ACOSF, Nesta DID become a warrior. I think this statement will ring true for Elain instead.
“But know that the Cauldron’s benevolence will be extended to you only for so long before it is offered to another.”
Rhys has said he wants no part of being High King but I think we'll find Amren's comment to be accurate. Possibly Lucien?
Wear it and you may summon the dead to you, command them to march at your will.
Something we might possibly see in the final battle?
The Harp can open any door, physical or otherwise. Some say between worlds.
Something that might happen with the crossover?
“Including Elain, who is more than capable of defending herself against the darkness of the Trove, if she chooses to. Don’t underestimate her.”
This has been building for quite some time and even Rhys says something along these lines so I think they're about to come true.
Elain asked, “And once you were in this body, you couldn’t change?”
Amren said after a moment, “Are you asking out of curiosity for my past, or your own future?”
Amren follows this up with thinking Elain might be wanting to go back to being human but Elain seems offended by the suggestion. I think it's actually hinting that Elain is an Owl Shifter. Not only do we see her blinking twice and cocking her head in ACOWAR, then "silently perched" in the Novella, but she also can "see" all the way to the Sea. That seems suggestive of her being a Seer BUT, being a Seer is having visions, not literally seeing far distances. However owls have excellent eyesight. Then we have Elain manage to hear that Nesta and Cassian were in trouble with the King and the fact that she was able to get to them so quickly although they were far apart from one another. And the constant mention of her moving silently and with stealth (all typical behaviors of owls).
It would also make sense for Amren to have this gift because I think Elain is going to end up outside of the Night Court with Lucien so at that point, they'll no longer have a Seer working for them.

Rhysand’s Parenting Experience
At a High Lord (and Lady!) meeting, they all ask him, we’re surprised you decided to have a kid, Rhysand, aren’t you too busy saving the world or picking off lint?
Rhys tells them, I’ve had centuries of experience, you see those *points to the troublemakers looking grumpy in the corner because daddy brought them to work* I got one who treats buildings like legos, another one who angsts real hard in the corner because, ugh it’s not a phase dad! I got another one who drinks like she just turned 21 with an ex who keeps showing up at my house. That tiny one glares at me, slams the door shut and screams, you don’t know anything! That other one was swiping my credit card left and right and staying out way past curfew! And another one telling me, omg dad, stay out of my love life! I’m just taking care of “plants” and definitely NOT smoking them! 😳 Oh and I have an adopted one somewhere, my wife brought him after some road trip, now he’s wandering god knows where to “find himself.” A long lost son if you will. 👀 Delinquents they all are! I have to tell them all to behave or Daddy’s cutting them off and sending them to time out!! *deep breaths*
So, what’s another winged little tyke to add to our slightly chaotic and unhinged but very entertaining family?
PS. Feyre’s smirking and thinking, oh daddy definitely sent this one to “time out.” 😏 😈

Amren was correct about n.esta. If those swords had that much power n.esta is the LAST person who should have it. End of story. She didn’t like the powers and wouldn’t train. It’s the inner circles job to monitor potential dangers and she couldn’t even take care of herself without her little sister so how can she wield all that power. Hell, the girl didn’t even notice that she made the swords. Amren was her friend for a year. When Feyre went to Amren and asked about N.esta, Amren refused to speak to her about N.esta. Amren didn’t explain anything to the inner circle. She kept her and N.esta relationship private. But when Feyre suggested that Amren helps N.esta learn her powers, N.esta threw a temper tantrum and blamed Feyre. Went on childish rants about how everyone chose Feyre over her and locked everyone out of her life but still came around for rent money. When Amren “voted” against her, she was just reflecting on her own history with N.esta.
N.esta is a victim of her own immaturity. Right after Amren explained to N.esta why she personally didn’t want her to know about the swords, N.esta immediately attacked and told Feyre about the risk of death from the pregnancy out of spite. She immediately proved Amrens point. She couldn’t even control herself enough to not use her own nephew and sister pending death to further her verbal abuse against her younger sister. As soon as Amren spilled some truth, n.esta can’t self-reflect to save her own life so she attacked. So this is who is suppose have those swords? She didn’t even care about the swords so let’s stop acting like she did and understand that she don’t like when people won’t put up with her behavior. She is immature and weird and if she could just calm down and think critically for two seconds her life would be better. It’s not Amrens or Feyres or Elains or Mors or Cassians fault that N.esta can’t be around people who tells her the truth and don’t kiss her ass or judge her for how she treats feyre.

to the people who are denying canons straightforward...and creating crack ships, and theories over individual characters and their behaviours and promoting it... do you guys really think that these kind of activities can make your ship exist in the actual book or can make your character different from what is written in the actual book..?? while your couples have not a single canon moment! or the most casual simple moments that you forcefully promoting as canon.or the characters you are using to hate other characters are not flawed while they are accepted their flaws themselves...
do you think that it is going to change the narration? the canon depicts what is actually going on in the book..and the much you people try to avoid it..ignore it .it is only you who are going to be disappointed at the end..
and no we those who follows canon won't feel disappointed.. because for us the book matters and the storyline of the book matters...we will still be sharing the canon moment of our favourite character and the ships..we don't have to burn the book , or spread hatred and negative to validate our ship or our favorites did! we accept them with their flaws.. the book belongs to the author and her imagination not yours! the story belongs to the author not you...not your narration....you can't make a loved character hate by others..you can only collect a group of people who agree with you and all of you can indulge in a hateful journey of mocking , hating, degrading canon characters to validate your take! while we people cheerish the growth and development of our flawed characters..how they accepted their traumas and moved on in life...
you people are only inviting frustration and disappointment by avoiding and declining the canons!

It sucks being one of the very few people in the acotar fandom that genuinely loves all the characters. Like omg my back hurts from carrying all the superiority in this fandom. No one else can relate. I’m just superior in every possible way. It sucks that majority of this fandom can’t relate. I hope they all get well soon 😢

— not many people like Nesta, like me, — Amrena continued, as if reading my thoughts. – will you ask why I sympathize with her? being with her is oh so difficult. understanding is even more difficult. that's why I like her.
