It’s Princess Ingrid’s time to shine!
The Queen and Prince Jacques’ youngest child went on her first ever overseas official solo trip today! After landing in Komorebi’s capital, the young royal immediately headed off to “work” and visited the Komorebi International School - the venue for this year’s International Youth Commission Summit.
The event was attended by some of the top students from Komorebi and from all around the world. Princess Ingrid was in attendance in line with her work as Royal Patron of the Brindleton Council of Youth Leaders.
Her Royal Highness was a massive hit, especially with the students. The Princess’s security detail reportedly complained that keeping HRH safe was a “logistical nightmare” not only because of the massive number of attendees, but because Princess Ingrid herself kept “running about.”
As it turns out, HRH broke protocol multiple times when she obliged almost everyone who ran up to her and asked for a selfie. One teacher who worked as a facilitator during the event shared:
“She was so sweet, posing for photos and chatting up everyone. it seemed like she was genuinely interested to listen to the students and hear their stories. There was a line of people hoping to get a photo with her. Her poor guards literally had to drag her out of the venue.”
Indeed, immediately after the event, photos of students with Princess Ingrid trended all over Komorebi via a local microblogging app, along with the hashtag “#PrincessDolly,” apparently a new nickname given to HRH for her doll-like looks.
Speaking of looks, HRH wore a plaid black dress with tights and black pumps. She let her gorgeous golden locks in shiny waves and HRH finished off her ensemble with a black leather clutch.
