Kittypet Hollyleaf
Her arc is as usual until she run into the tunnel. After which, she’s kinda delirious from the pain of the rocks falling on her and stumbles into twolegplace where she’s found and taken in
at first she HATES it. But after a while she realizes how nice it is to not have to worry about rules or forbidden romances or whether she’ll make it through winter. She makes friends with another kittypet there and they’re practically inseparable. Holly keeps her name, but decides that she’s happier this way.
Meet precious (aka holly.. just holly) and her new friend,,,,,, Cody!
After getting injured in the tunnels and turning up to a vacation spot for a nice twoleg.
After the vacation ended, the twoleg adopted hollyleaf and she is taken home back to the old territories (its walmart now) and she meets a nice old She-cat, Cody! And tells her tales when the wildcats left their home for another and how she hopes theyre doing well.
It took Precious a few moments to understand the connection, and so she befriends Cody, Holly tells Cody about the newer stories, and Cody tells Holly about the older stories and being saved when her kits were just in her belly and this nice pretty she cat who became her friend at the time.

honestly i feel like in the fandom we have this small group of people who have never read the books but pretend that they have anyway and end up being so wrong. i myself have never read the books because 1) these books do not deserve money and it's a wonder they survived for as long as they did and 2) i've tried before but gave up. but the difference is. i don't pretend to know about bumble and turtle tail and tom besides what i've seen on that one post where they talk about the horrible way bumble is treated with evidence from the text. i've never read the books and that's ok. but because of that idk much about any of the cats and i dont pretend to know. so basically tldr that anon message saying that bumble wanted turtle tail in an abusive friendship sucks

also for screenwriting im basically like adapting and heavily rewriting natch and wisp’s story for like a 50 minute screenplay (partly having trouble bc i didnt care for natch’s original story and theyre now humans in an emotion driven magic realism setting about bigotry instead of the convoluted fantasy story they were in my head) and like everyones asking abt the characters and where i got the idea and i dont have the heart to say that they’re former kirby ocs that have been retooled to be their own thing twice now
#i mean i dont have to say that at all actually but its like wild to me... theyre furry ocs#ppl seem to really like them and are interested and giving genuine constructive criticism tho so i do feel ok abt the story#just abt the pacing and ending is where im like. augh#fun fact i did have them as humans the first time i retooled them just really fantasy setting#the main plot is taken from like a personal part of their arcs that appeared in their original story and are basically front and center#im sad ill have to cut most of my ghost lore for time as well as the thing that made them most fun to write for the sake of the ending#but whatever#general theme is like. trying to live in a world that oppresses you and you cant escape the oppression bc its ingrained in society#but still trying to find ways to cope and thrive rather than just shut yourself off from human connection entirely#and themes of like. toxic friendships and learning to let people go and move on from your pain#their original story talked more abt abuse and moving on from toxic family to live yourown life and theres still that here#but more of an emphasis on the fear of living as a marginalized person in a conservative community#bc like. idk. i kinda wanted to write that bc ough. hm. yeah#also natch wont be redesigned as a human like official this is just like emery screenwriting class au#shes still a little kitty cat#echoed voice#and she'll probably stay in a fantasy setting about ghosts and souls and magic

After sometime, Riki opened his mouth. “I know I already asked this earlier, but why did you come here? You know, to stargaze.” As if he wasn’t satisfied with her answer.
He was right in thinking that her answer wasn’t what she truly wanted to say, but it just felt awkward to give an exact reason. Her relationship with her mom was something she could barely tell her only 3 friends about, let alone someone she barely considered an acquaintance.
But Y/N knew Riki was a reliable guy; she had heard it often from Soul, Rei, and Giselle. And maybe for once she would let herself put faith into another person.
“I’ll only tell if you tell me why you like stargazing.”
Riki blew out a breath in thought. “Hm… I don’t know if I can give an exact reason for that. I was just bored one day and ended up coming across this place. That’s what made me stargaze, but something about it just felt so comforting to me that I wanted to do it more often.” He answered, a soft smile gracing his lips. “But that’s not exactly a good reason.”
“I think it suits you.” Y/N whispered out. “I’m sure you have your own stresses with being the son of Alice in Wonderland. It would make sense that having a hobby like this to come back to is something you enjoy.”
He pondered on it for a moment. Maybe she was right. He then chuckled at this side of her he had never seen before. “You’re a lot more poetic than you let on. Anyways I answered your question, can you answer mine?”
Y/N considered answering it, she truly did, but as much as she wanted to open up there was the side of her that wanted to keep everything inside. Her mother had always told her that vocalizing your feelings does nothing good and only makes people pity you.
One thing Y/N despised was being pitied. It only reminded her of how her mother referred to her as a ‘pitiful girl’ and how she would amount to nothing.
So she slowly shook her head. “No, I don’t think I can.”
Riki felt himself beginning to sit up to look at the girl. There was something off about her. The way she spoke to him and the way that she carried herself… she wasn’t acting as she always had. Normal Y/N would be more playful and even mischievous. But now, there was a certain sadness in her entire being that seemed to be throwing her off her rhythm. And it only made Riki more and more curious about her.
“Okay, I get it. You don’t have to tell me.” Riki smiled, before continuing. “I just hope it doesn’t take away your chaotic spirit. You know, I kind of like that about you.”
A sigh left Y/N’s lips at his words. “You don’t mean that, Wonderland.”
“I mean every word, Cheshire.”
Y/N could only roll her eyes before slowly evaporating into the night, using her invisibility and teleportation to finally go back home.
Left lingering in the air was her Cheshire’s smile, which disappeared last and left Riki staring at the wisps of where she had sat only moments prior.
Maybe it made sense that Riki enjoyed stargazing. In a way, there was something about him that was made of the stars. No matter what he did, he always seemed to shine brighter than all the others. There was something about Riki that felt that he belonged up in the sky, giving life to the night and adding a certain glimmer to the auras.
Riki had his own place amongst the sky, and she wished she could be like that too. But after speaking to him, maybe there was nowhere she could have her own place in. Y/N could only wait for the day that she could contribute to a bigger picture, and take a larger part in his story. After all, she had always wanted her own place within the stars.
But for now, all she could do was hope she would become more than just the Cheshire Cat’s daughter.

a/n: if u have not already seen this post, it's a short explanation of what my reader for this au will be like :)

“hey guys welcome back to the sturniolo triplets,” nick began recording. he explained what the video was going to be about when chris interrupted him. “the reason yn isn’t here is because she’s on her ‘lady days’, as she says.” he grinned, air quoting your words.
“oh my gosh. LET ME TELL YOU.” nick yells, matt and chris giggling at the outburst. “she’s so mean when she’s on periodd.” he groans as matt smacks him on the arm. “shut the fuck up idiot, she can hear you.”
“i swear to god she’s such a grump. like fucking bigfoot whenever she enters a room, fee fi fo fum, bitches.”
“she’ll probably come in and out of the video, just sayin’” matt said, leaning forward against the marble counter. a few minutes later, you walked in with a fuzzy blanket wrapped around your body and went straight to the fridge.
“babyyy” chris cooed and wrapped his arms around your waist to rest his chin on your shoulder. you grabbed a jar of dill pickles and turned around, shutting the fridge door. “hi” you chirped, kissing his cheek.
you handed the jar to your boyfriend to open while nick made a disgusting screech after drinking coconut water. you walked over to the dishwasher to grab a fork as chris opened the jar and put it on the counter.
“next, next, next!” nick rushed. you grabbed your pickles and sat down behind the camera, watching them. you were crunching on those pickles pretty loudly, to which matt scrunched his nose. “dude, stop!” he yelled, covering his ears. you giggled and apologized softly. you leaned to the camera and chewed slowly. “asmr..” you whispered.
"you wanna play?" matt asks you after chris ate easy cheese. you shook your head. "nooo thanks. i'm good here." you continued eating. "pickles give me the ick." nick playfully scowled. you rolled your eyes. "YOU give me the ick. it's so hot, gosh." you shrug the hello kitty blanket off your shoulders and onto the back of the chair.
"hey, be nice." chris pointed, jokingly. you stuck your tongue out and got up. you walked to the counter, grabbing one of the bi-flavored pudding cups before walking into your room. "ewww how can she like thatt" nick gags.
you shriek from the room. "EWWUHH what iss thattt??" you ran out and latched onto chris' arm. "what happened?" he chuckled. "is it a bug??" nick gags again. "no, it was like a lizard mutant or something." you shivered, slightly smiling. "a 'mutant' is crazy." matt shakes his head chuckling as he walks into your room and steps on the lizard before running out.
normally, you dont really care about bugs getting into your room, no matter the size. you'd just kill it, who cares? but a LIZARD? nonono not happening, no thanks.
nick grabbed the camera and walked over to your door where matt was panicking. "it's literally this big." he showed with his hands. you scrunch your face in disgust. "kill it." you push chris into the room. he grabs a tissue from his nightstand and chases it. nick laughs as he catches the whole thing on camera.
finally, after a few minutes, chris kills it successfully. "am i a hero or what?" he jokes, throwing the tissue in the trash. "I really thought it was gonna crawl in a hole, good job." matt smacks his hand on chris' back. you grab ahold of chris' hand and lean into his side. he wraps an arm around your waist tightly. "can we get back to the challenge now?"
"noo you guys can finish it tomorrow." you whined, dragging your boyfriend back into the room. "what? no, cmon." matt drops his arms to his side. "alright whatever, i dont really care. but not tomorrow, lets do it in like an hour or two, okay?" nick turned off the camera and started putting food away.
"okay bye!"

Button House Dog Rescue au
Alison and Mike get the house and the land like in the show but instead of an event hall, they get involved with the local shelter and turn it into a dog rescue. All the ghosts are dogs that they foster/unofficially adopt
Robin (wolfhound): He's been there the longest. He was given up as a puppy for reasons unknown; his owner didn't specify. He was the first dog that they rescued and even tho they tried their best, they still messed up a lot. He doesn't hold it against them tho, he loves them. He's made a lot of friends over the years but they've all been adopted out; no one wants him because of his size so he's been unofficially adopted by the Coopers and he's 100% fine with that. When he sits by the fire and they scratch his belly or behind his ears, he doesn't need another family
Humprey (golden retriever): He used to belong to a rich family but got out one day and was hit by a car. The accident left him unable to move anything but his head and even tho the family was distraught, they opted to put him down. Alison came in at the very last second insisting that she could help him and she did. It's took many years of physical therapy, learning to use mobility aids, and different meds but he can get around relatively easily now. He still opts to sleep in the sun most of the day tho and only occasionally romps around the garden w his friends. He's Mike's favorite bc Mike likes to squish his face. Mike's his favorite because he gives him way too many treats
Mary (dalmatian): She lived with a family but the house caught fire one night. She was able to escape (as were the ppl, dw) but ran the wrong way and got terribly lost in the dark. She had no tag or identification so she was taken to the shelter. She's got terrible anxiety and was constantly trembling when they first got her so Alison bought her one of those compress vests that acts like a weighted blanket. It was hard to get it on her the first time because she would shy away from any move they made but now she insists to have it on 24/7. Since getting to Button House, she's gone from skittish and hiding from everything to fairly confident. Alison believes it's from socializing with the new friends she's made
Kitty (pomeranian): She was given as a birthday present to a rich girl when she was a puppy. The girl wasn't very nice to her however and used her more as a doll she could jerk around than a living being. She would yell at her a lot too for natural puppy behavior (ex: not coming already housebroken, chewing things, making messes, etc) After a year or so, one of the neighbors finally had enough and was able to take her away. Unfortunately, they were unable to foster her so she ended up at Button House. She's still incredibly sweet, outgoing and loves to run and play with the big dogs. Even tho she can't keep up at the start, she always ends up running circles around them thanks to her unlimited energy when they tire out. When she's not doing that, she's "helping" Alison and tripping her up while she tries to work
Thomas (shetland sheepdog): He also belonged to a well-off family that he loved very dearly but got lost. He's convinced they're going to find him one day even tho it's been years at this point. The other dogs feel bad that he still believes this but they don't tell him. When he got to Button House, he latched onto Alison as his new family --or his temporary family since he's only going to be here a short while-- and follows her everywhere now. Definitely has separation anxiety due to his getting separated from his first family and freaks out whenever he can't see her. He'll cry when she shuts the door to the bathroom or her bedroom. He tries every night to sleep in her bed but the Coopers have a strict rule about no dogs in the bedroom so he never succeeds. Instead he lays right outside the door in the hallway and cries himself to sleep each night. It used to hurt Alison's heart but she's used to it now; she can't let him in bc once she does, everybody will want to come in
Fanny (chihuahua): She's white, pretty fluffy, and has magnificent floofs on her ears. She was given up by her family for being "too aggressive." They had several small kids and didn't do their research before getting her. The Coopers were a bit nervous at first but quickly learned she was all bark and no bite. Now she's Alison's lap dog and even tho she's perfectly capable of walking, she likes to be carried places. She's too old to want to play with the other dogs so instead she sits in Alison's lap and watches. She'll bark her head off at them but never goes to join the game. Alison thinks it's quite funny that when it's one on one, she can cow all the big dogs, including Robin, into doing what she wants
The Captain (german shepherd): He's a retired military dog that was unable to find a home because he didn't adjust to civilian life very well. He was never actually in a war tho, he stayed domestic and helped more with bomb sniffing. He was retired bc he was getting old and had a lot of health complications in his hips/joints. He's enjoying it much more at Button House with the other dogs than the few families he went to before and is slowly learning how to relax/be a dog. But because of his health problems, he can't play for very long before he has to lay down (this makes Kitty very sad). Mike's scared of him; he was nervous at the start because he assumed as an army dog he would be aggressive, but his fear got cemented one time they were out on a walk and there was a squirrel. The Captain lunged for it and pulled Mike face first into the mud. Mike swears he almost dislocated his shoulder but Alison isn't sure
Pat (corgi): He was given up by a suburban family who underestimated how much space and exercise he would need. Their yard wasn't big enough and he was either laying around the house all day depressed or ripping up the furniture to entertain himself. It was a very tearful goodbye when they dropped him off but the Coopers assured them he would be in good hands. He was very upset when they didn't come back after a few days but he's gotten used to it now. He loves running around in the big field and all the new friends he's made. He's Alison's favorite because he actually listens to her. She was surprised by how many words he knew and now puts his herding skills to use almost every day. "Pat, can you get everyone in the car?" "Pat, can you get everyone to the bath?" "Pat, can you get everyone for dinner?" He's very good at it and make's sure no one's left behind (even Mike)
Julian (weimaraner): He was adopted by a politician as a publicity stunt when he was a puppy. As he grew up, he was absolutely spoiled and occasionally got to go to events/parties. His owner liked to take pictures of him and post them on social media to get voters' attention so quite a large number of people knew who he was. As he got older tho, the posts stopped getting as many likes and a new puppy was adopted. Before he knew what was happening, he was left at Button House. There was quite an adjustment period as he got used to not fancy food, having to share, and all that but he's loving it now. He's Alison's least favorite because he's so crafty and always up to trouble. When he teams up with Robin, the two of them can easily break into the pantry and eat as much ppl food as they like. Alison's started locking it but somehow they're still getting in. It remains the most infuriating mystery of Alison's life
The plague ghosts: they are quite a few different breeds that were rescued from a very unethical puppy mill. They’re at Button House because it was the only place big enough to house them all. They’ve all got mange tho and are quarantined to a separate part of the house. Even tho they are loving their new life much more than how they were living before, they still dream of the day they’ll be able to go out and play w all the other dogs

raven queen - alternative/indie singer like mitski. rabid online fanbase. getting tired of music industry in general - apple-raven fanwar may be the last straw
briar beauty - apples manager. is getting sick of managing apple and not making music herself - wants to make music again. used to be part of an idol group with apple, ashlynn and blondie - briar and ashlynn left, dissatisfied with the lack of control they had of their music and their image. blondie was devastated - she didnt have the money or popularity to continue a solo career on her own, whereas apple could.
faybelle thorn - known mononymously as faybelle, faybelle thorn is a rising pop act. she used to be a child star but was sick of her mother controlling her every move and broke away. this unfortunately also broke her career. faybelle is desperate to reclaim her fame. she is a hyperpop/pop act, and she is jealous of the amount of fans raven has online - she starts to build up completely onesided rivalry with her. approaches briar to ask her to manage her, but realises briar wants to be back in the spotlight and proposes a group.
maddie hatter - lyricist for lizzie and the worms. known as HATWORM. is approached by raven for some inspiration and they become fast friends - raven learns a lot from her.
lizzie hearts - lead singer and leader of lizzie and the worms. makes art, costumes and thumbnails for the worms.
bunny blanc - known as CLOCKWORM. quiet producer for lizzie and the worms.
kitty cheshire - known as CATWORM. makes the videos for lizzie and the worms.
alistair wonderland - lizzie and the worms groupie. CLOCKWORMs biggest fan.
courtly jester - hacks ppls twitters bc she loves hoarding those blue checkmarks. she has a fandom of her own bc shes so crazy when she hacks into their accounts. she also releases breakcore music on soundcloud which is pretty popular. she releases it under the name the joker card

But yeah after a while you guys stay in touch, he's training and drowning his pain with alcohol and you're trying to get him into more healthier ways of dealing w his pain as well as laughing at him kshsjdhsjs
your just sort of there to support him even when he's pushing you away bc no idiot I will not leave you alone when you're training I will watch and I will LAUGH when you fall. But I will also cheer you on when you win and give you my favourite hello kitty bandaid if you ever get hurt 🥰
And he's super grateful?? Bc your like this stable sort of annoying person who's there for him no matter what.
Like he knows he can come to yours to crash if he's had one too many drinks to holds his hair when he's puking his guts out hungover.
Yes you are there in the morning to laugh and yell at him for being stupid but he also saw the glass of water you left on the couch next to the ibuprofen and chuck bucket for him. And the little blankets and they you always seem to have waiting on him when he arrives
Yes you will be there to do it all over again if he comes walking to your place after he's drunk again.
And Yes, you will also be there to show him all the dumb photos you took of him drunk on your Kodak once they get developed and cackle in his face 😈
He like actually learns to take a load off with you and relax a little bc you have a bond and you weren't just saying that when you took his ass on holiday, you really meant you'd be there for him and it means a lot to him bc he's never really had that stability in his life before 😔
Also bc the trauma bonding you just get him ✨️ like you can both relate to the horrors you saw and what you unknowingly found out about Umbrella.
Like maybe you work w him in the field or just as an archivist or smth but you're helping him w this cause too, dealing w the same or similar shit he's been dragged into so ofc you guys form a bond w each other.
And so by the time RE4 rolls around imagine you're like talking him through his mission on the radio n he's soo serious around Ashley and Luis so you can't help it you burst out laughing bc he's so stiff, and he's like THIS is a LIFE and DEATH siTuAtiOn now do your fUcKiNg jOb SeNd me tHe coOrDiNatEs
And you're like okay okay grumpy pants 😈 I'll give you the coordinates but you have to say pwetty pwease w a cherry on top for me 🥰
If it were anyone else he'd turn the radio off and find it himself but bc he does care for you, and you're like the only stable platonic thing he's had in ages he's like cursing and swearing until he FINALLY caves in and does it
So you give him the coordinates and just as he's about to go back to almost dying your like "I got that recorded fyi" and he's just 😤😤😤 at Luis for no real reason other than his 'little shit of an adopted sibling' kwhsjshdhd
But also imagine randomly calling him constantly bc you're really worried for him bc this time your not there with him and it scares you
And he's like, I'm not dying here bc who else is gonna put up w your shithead behaviour??? n you're just like, 'aww Leon!! 🥺🥺'
So hes like 'yeah so stfu and let me do my mission 😤' but you swear you can hear the smile in his voice through the radio
