🥩 Don’t be grabbing your wallet and keys too quickly, you’ll have to go all the way to NYC for this one. I went to New York recently and went to a load of great restaurants; michelin, fine dining, and legendary. This is @keenssteakhouse, considered one of the best steak restaurants in NYC, famous for their mutton chop (which I did also get). This is their porterhouse for 2, and you don’t need me to tell you that American portions are bigger, but each cut piece was near enough a steak on its own. Anyway, if you’re over that side of the world then I do recommend Keens. Tonight’s meal is a prime porterhouse seasoned with @meatchurch Holy Cow topped with a black garlic compound butter served with a loaded baked potato and stuffed mushrooms from @eatschuchmannmeat. Also, do you know I've never ordered the porterhouse, to my recollection? The key to my heart is definitely ordering the porterhouse, though I would never make such a steep request. When Travis Kelce celebrated his birthday at The Golden Ox in Kansas City, he ordered the porterhouse. But where's my golden ox? Who is he? Aren't I worth the porterhouse? it's big enough for two people to share it, you know.

Anyhow, being that they're bone-in, I'd actually prefer to share the tomahawk, which is bone-in ribeye for two, or the porterhouse... your call. But if we're ordering separate steaks, I'd go for the Kansas City strip or the bone-in filet, as trashy as that sounds to me... who the fuq orders a bone-in filet... I really don't know what they're thinking in Michigan, but it might pleasantly blow my mind. Those Michiganders did swear that Bowdie's crushed any steakhouse in Chicago in that video, although of course they've got a residential and sociopolitical bias, most likely.

Did you know Bowdie's has a Grand Rapids location as well?

I need to ask my mother if there's any chance that she's been to Bowdie's on Hilton Head island. I'm guessing not, as my stepdad isn't a huge fan of eating out, especially at pricey places.

There's only four Bowdie's in the world... I'm guessing the owner is a snowbird and that's why 3 are in Michigan and 1 is in South Carolina, but I could be wrong.
