OK SO This is probably the most asked question I’ve had on the blog and the reason why I put it off for so long is cuz it’s kind of complicated. Some of them have reasons and some I just pulled out of my ass LMAO For example, I made Feng Min’s # x11 because 1′s and x’s are common in gamer tags. Makes sense, right? 

I made David b88 because b is Brooklyn and he’s... British? I deadass was gonna make it b99 but thats a fucking TV show, so I made it 88. WHUPS now it sounds like bb-8 the star war orb. FUCK.  Dwight, d43 because it rhymes.

Claudette, k35 K for Knowledge like botany knowledge, and 35 cuz I think I headcanoned her being that old for a while??

Nea, m94 m for Mashtyx, 94 cuz I headcanon that as her birth year

Jake was e17 and I think at one point there was a reason? E for escape maybe? 17 is how old I imagined him being when he ran away lol. Meg, a14, A for Athlete, 14 cuz her it’s the number on her jersey

Laurie, L76, L for Laurie obvs and 76 cuz I mistakenly thought that was the year Halloween came out and now it’s too late to change it. Maybe she reminds me of Solider 76 from Ogrewatch?

You're most welcome! I has many HC, but I must mull them over first. None of the characters in dbd are cowards. And Dwight is definitely not one. In the beginning, he may have hidden in a locker to collect himself, but he ain't going to sit in there and let others get hurt. Small spaces can sometimes help with anxiety attacks, they give an illusion of security. Like the feeling of being hugged. They use something like this for animals with severe anxiety. No doubt, Dwight is a fighter.

HCs are so hard, specially when lore is being released so it might collide against some things we might think could be true!

Lockers are given for a reason: to hide. Hiding in a locker doesn’t mean anything bad, and Dwight definitely knows how to hide so if he hid in one he would most likely not be found.

As a leader, he has to make sure his team is doing the best they can so he has to show them that he is a fighter so they don’t ever think of giving up!

The exit doors have long since opened but freedom was ever farther from grasp. He did knew it was possible for the entity to fuck up, he has seen it do so on occasion, but not so badly. Then again, maybe this was a new form of torture. A broken locker was something he wasn't counting on when he tried to stall for time for the others. Well, at least he could say it worked. "Sometimes I'm up," The hillbilly revved his chainsaw for another attempt on the door. "Sometimes I'm down," A pained grunt sounded outside as the crows laughed mockingly. "Yes lord, you know sometimes I'm almost to the ground" It just worked a little too well. "O yes, Lord, still.." This had been going on for some time now. Fear had long since melted to confusion which in turn melted to boredom. "No body knows the trouble I've seen," Dwight wondered what the other were doing. "Nobody knows but Jesus," Whatever they were doing, it had to be better than this. "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen" The hillbilly moved to the side of the locker and shoved. "Glory Hallelujah" The locker didn't even budge. "You got here before I do," Dwight actually felt bad for the hillbilly. It wasn't no secret that entity didn't take too kindly to it's killers letting the survivors go. The few time it has happened in the past had left the killers very scarred. "O yes Lord, don't forget to tell all my friends I'm coming too~" To leave before all the survivors were either killed or got out would probably be suicide. "O yes Lord, still~" So in a way. "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen," The hillbilly was just as stuck as he was. "Nobody knows but Jesus," Dwight paused. "your name wouldn't happen to be Jesus would it?" Two half hearted raps of a sledgehammer sounded to Dwight's left. "Don't worry bud, I'm sure you'll get me out eventually.." Dwight shifted a bit, from what he could see outside of the locker, it seems that the hillbilly has given up and has laid on the ground. "I see you're not really a Louie Armstrong fan, but that's ok I'm sure we'll find someone you'll like." Dwight couldn't help but wince in sympathy when he heard the hillbilly whimper. "Have you heard AC-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive by Ella Fitzgerald?" Another two raps "I'll take that as a no." How the hell could anyone even fathom David as a bad person? It literally says in his perks AND bio that he'd die to defend his friends. I don't think a bad person would do that. Yeah sure, he has his rough n tough moments, but learning to manage his temper is something he can do. You show this in your aus and I mcfreaking love it.
