people getting mad on twitter at richard siken because he said that cannibalism is bad is soooo funny to me. i haven't been able to stop thinking about it. people keep being like "its a metaphor for love!" and hes like "its a bad one! its a good metaphor for selfish desire but a terrible metaphor for genuine love because there is no non-selfish way to eat another person" and then people are like "no its good because then theyre with me forever in my own body" and hes like "no theyre not. theyre converted to feces." and then people are like "oh so it's morally wrong for me to want to bite my partner when we're fucking???" and richard siken has to be like "that is a whole new sentence"
