Transfer Error AU, after Emmet makes peace with the fact that his brother is a Sneasel, he would definitely throw himself into becoming a Sneasel expert. Like he'd still treat Ingo as a human as much as possible and try not to make some changes obvious but he'd secretly be watching documentaries about Sneasels, ordered books about them and have a few burner accounts on PokeReddit to troubleshoot some questions like poison v ice behaviour differences.
Oh yeah, he'd definitely go on one (or twenty) research rabbit holes to find out how to best care for a sneasel.

Updates, Figy, and Enigma!
Some nice folk on the ol pokereddit helped me calm down and not dye my hair red. Yay for avoiding relapse!
Since they reassured me that Figy using moves with recoil and a toxic orb and choice band aren’t abusive because it can consent, and that our Pokémon partners need to fight as a biological fact, then I am going to try to sign up for battling classes so I can meet her needs.
Oh and some good news, Nurse Joy said Enigma doesn’t have a urinary blockage! He just has a UTI and we are starting antibiotics for him soon. I might end up posting some pictures of him later when he feels better.
I think I’m going to go over my parole details on here later, idk. My identity is public anyways because of my mugshot being in the newspapers. And all my details are available as part of the criminal team registry. So it isn’t like posting my trainer card or town or details or anything is anything different.

Surprisingly for a boy of his current age, Silver is actually only just now learning more about the internet. Growing up he was heavily monitored to the point where he was only given old laptops that had many restrictions of what websites he could go on, or no access at all.
He’s discovering what websites people like to talk about, forums, social media, etc. Silver doesn’t actively go on anything mainstream himself, but he would be on more of the music platforms like the Pokemon versions of Spotify or Bandcamp.
PokeTube, and perhaps even Pokereddit. Looking up videogame walkthroughs or reviews... But, his internet consumption is still pretty low, even if he is starting to get very curious about it.
However memes are becoming one of his favorite things.

When I was a kid...
I wanted to be a Pokémon trainer, just like a lot of the other kids who lived in Pallet Town. But you know what’s different about me? I wanted to be the very best, like no one ever was!

I grew up watching Pokémon battles between the greatest trainers ever. One of them even came from my town! His name was Ash Ketchum. Everyday after school I’d come home and watch his Pokémon battle highlights. I wanted to be just like him, so when I turned 10, I can finally begin my journey to become a trainer even better than Ash.
On the day I finally turned 10, I received my letter of invitation to begin my journey to becoming a Pokémon Trainer!
So I made my way to Professor Oak’s research lab, and I was greeted by Professor Oak and Rotom his Pokémon partner.
Professor Oak showed me around the lab a bit, and he gave me my first Pokedex (a tool for logging the Pokémon I encounter) and a few Poké Balls to get started.
At last, the part I was looked forward to the most: I got to pick my starter Pokémon! This was probably the biggest and most difficult decision I ever made.
The first Pokémon Professor Oak brought out was a Charmander. He’s a cute and fierce Fire-type! He eventually evolves into Charizard, who is 3 times the size of Charmander! He would be a good choice.
The second Pokémon he brought out was this cute little guy, a Bulbasaur! He’s such a cutie--how can anyone resist that smile. He’s a strong, tanky (good defense) Grass-type Pokémon, and his evolutions are also strong. I’ve read a lot of good comments on Pokereddit about this Pokémon, so he’s also a good option.
The last Pokémon Professor Oak brought out was a Squirtle. He’s a sassy Water-type Pokémon that can squirt water out as powerful as a fire hose! His turtle shell grows bigger, stronger and more powerful as he evolves, and he’s also a good choice for a starter.
So I looked at all the starters, and I faced the most difficult decision of my life--which starter do I pick?
Charmander, I choose you!
Bulbasaur, I choose you!
Squirtle, I choose you!
