With the poison apple au i wanted to ask whats the evil queen and good king’s reaction when Raven tells them she’s pregnant?
I thought you could input it in a short story or so but of course you don’t have to if it’s to much<3
Raven nervously ran her hands over her dress and couldn't help the way they stopped briefly over her stomach. Dexter had long since tried to get his wife to calm down but knew it was fruitless, so he kept himself busy by making sure everything was in place for their lunch with Raven's parents. Raven, of course, would have helped her husband, but he was adamant that she sit and rest. So with nothing else to do but fret Raven looked over the table to make sure everything was in place and perfect. She wanted this lunch to be memorable and special.
"My Heart, the table is perfect. I myself looked it over, as did the maids." Dexter chuckled before he took his seat next to her and held her hands in his. "I know you're nervous but I promise you, your parents are going to be thrilled."
"What if they think it's too soon? My reign has barely begun, and there's so much to do! What if they think we're not ready? Are we ready?" Raven rambled but was cut off by a sweet kiss from Dexter.
"Raven, My Darling, breathe." Dexter said with a soft laugh. "Who's to say this is too soon? This could very well be written in the pages*. Besides, I don't think this is too soon. We had been talking about starting the next chapter of our Happily-Ever-After."
"You-You're right. I'm sorry, My King."
"There is nothing to be sorry for, My Dear. As to the question if we are ready.... Well, I'd like to think so. We bought all the books, we have Maddy sending us some paint for the nursery, Cedar is sending us a crib, and so on. We are as ready as can be."
Raven's answering smile was full of love. She was completely smitten with her husband. It's not as if she ever forgot that, but she was always pleasantly surprised that she could fall more in love with Dexter day by day. He always gave her reasons to fall further. She didn't know how she got so lucky, but she would do everything in her power to let him know just how much he meant to her.
"There's my daughter and my favorite son-in-law!" Raven's mother's voice crooned. It never failed to make her smile now when she heard it. Her mother had come a long way since her release. Gone was the animal bones and dramatic headdresses, though her love for darker palettes stayed the same, as did her love of more edgier clothing. She made it work, though, and now everyone could see her long, gorgeous platinum blonde hair, though she did add some purple and black highlights.
"I'm your only son-in-law, Mom." Dexter laughed as he got up from his spot and offered his arm to her mother and guided her to the table with her father following.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean you're not our favorite." Her father said as he pulled out a chair for his ex-wife. Dexter chuckled in response, but Raven knew it was his nervous one. Well, at least she wasn't the only nervous one.
It was like their normal weekly lunches, and that helped ease Raven's nerves. Lunch was wonderful and light, which helped with Raven's morning sickness. Lunch finished fast, though, and the nerves popped back up like an ugly hex.
"Mother?"
"Yes My Dearest?"
"Does Cook still make those baby jumpers out of enchanted yarn?" It was Raven's way of hinting before outright saying her news. She knew Cook made them rarely now that her two boys were older. She still made them jumpers but out of different yarn. The enchanted yarn she used when the boys were infants made sure it kept the babies warm and were oh so spelltacularly soft.
"It's been a while, she had made some for a Baker and his wife. Their little one has grown so much since then!"
"Is one of your friends having a baby, My Baby Bird?" Her father asked as he helped himself to another helping of plum pudding. It was always his favorite.
"Well..." She began with a soft chuckle.
"Funny, you should ask." Dexter blabbed out nervously.
The speed at which her mother turned to look at both her daughter and her husband surely had to break some kind of record. "Excuse me?"
"Dexter and I," Raven said with a smile as she placed a hand on her stomach, "we're gonna have a baby!"
"I'm going to be a grandma!?" The words would have worried Raven if she hadn't seen the wide smile her mother wore and a look of utter excitement.
"I'm going to be a grandpa?" Her father asked, his voice thick with tears. It made Raven's eyes fill with tears immediately as she nodded.
"We're going to be grandparents!" Her mother and father exclaimed at the same time to each other before they hugged and laughed and cried and it was a bit funny because that's how Raven and Dexter basically reacted when they found out.
As question after question was thrown at her and Dex, she simply smiled and reached for her husband's hand who didn't hesitate to lace their fingers together and bring her hand up for a kiss.
How could things be so wonderful?

Adopted Yuu! with Big bro Vil loves hearing Epel talk about his family, especially his granny! Makes them wish she was their grandma. (She can be, Yuu just gotta marry into the family👀, Epel surely won't mind😇)

Yuu is surprised at how well they get along with their big brother’s “professional understudy”. They didn’t think they’d be able to get the quiet, shy young man out of his shell.
Then they were left alone with Epel for an hour, and he began cussing them out fluently in a heavy country accent for beating him at Slapjack.
And thus began a beautiful friendship.
Epel thinks that Poison Queen’s little sibling ain’t half bad, considering who they’re related to! Even if he can’t tell them about Poison Apple, it’s great to vent his frustrations to them and laugh about it all. They’re smart, funny, kind (and they’re pretty easy on the eyes too…)
He enjoys telling them about his folks, almost as much as his folks enjoy hearing about his new city friend! His grandma is particularly taken with them, and keeps asking when he’s bringing this little friend of his around for dinner…

Ive reread you poison apple au and im in love i just can help but imagine the fun raven and dex have with their kids
And apple who marrys her to continue the story i feel like shes stubborn enough to raise a child on lies of stolen happily ever afters
I cry this got buried in the asks ( I have over 140 TTuTT I'm trying to get through them)
Raven and Dex have so much fun with their kiddos! They love them so much and the family is almost always on Fairytales Scrollazine (Peoples Magazine XD) as they became somewhat local Spellebrities after everything that happened.
They have so many aunts and uncles who adore them and Raven's parents are a constant when the kids are young. Diana tried to play the step-sister card once to visit but that was shut down so fast.
With Apple, yeah, she did find someone who would marry her, but it was purely for her looks, and for her, it was purely to try and continue the storyline. There was no love lost between the two, and it's a known secret that the two have lovers here and there. But both do love their children. A boy and a girl. Darius Charmont Knight (yes, Apple named her son after Daring. She lost him once. Not again.) and Winter White Knight (after her lost birthright. Her husband argued their daughter would be made fun of but Apple insisted and overall went behind his back to name the children.) She tries to raise them to believe in their birthrights as a Prince Charming and Snow White but her husband does all he can to make sure it doesn't stick.
Divorce is not a thing really in Ever After. It's been done, but to do so, it's basically like putting a mark on you and your family. It's seen as shameful. But Apple's husband it basically at the end of his rope when he kids turn 6 and 5, respectively and all but demands a divorce from the Supreme Classic Council who grant it prettily easily once the evidence is presented and once they find out who his wife is.
Apple somehow got supervised visits.

I genuinely think that the fact that it would be Raven who would poison Apple made her destiny way less scary for her.
I mean, she was already kinda groomed into thinking it was perfect but think about it. She would be on very temporary pain, that is guaranteed to go away and bring a happy future, and the person that would put her trough that pain is someone she know and trusts and it's friends with.
To her, it's almost like Raven poisoning her is just a little unpleasant errand they will go through together and they will be both so much better when it's over. If they did go through with the destined story, I think Apple would genuinely be shocked that Raven would suffer for poisoning her

It’s a scene that repeats in your dreams ever since that fateful day where you lost your heart.
The dreams were fleeting, always disappearing before your very eyes as you made your choice between the red apple and the tattered doll on the table.
A red ribbon is wrapped around your neck, with each passing second suffocating you the longer you tried to stall.
The doppelganger before you insists on the apple. He always does.
Your choice is the same every night. You follow what he tells you, unquestioning and afraid, and your dream ends the moment you bite down into the fruit.
Tonight, however, the air is heavy and the ribbon around your neck is tighter.
Momentarily, your hand hovers over the fruit, and he eggs you on.
He’s caught off guard when your hand shifts to the doll instead, damp and dirtied, cold and unloved.
Its fabric is coarse and its colors have faded. The small head of hair made from torn yarn feels dry and rough, and one of the button eyes have long since disappeared.
“Why?”
His tone isn’t angry.
It never was.
It was always gentle and full of unconditional love, and you knew deep down that he only wants what he thought was best for you.
But in the end, he wasn’t you, and you weren’t him.
This was your choice.
“It has no heartbeat,” Your voice is small, like you were a child again. “But it doesn’t mean it’s undeserving of love.”
Your doppelganger sounds like he’s about to cry, taking the apple into his palms and pressing it close to your chest. “Please, I beg you. If this is the only way that you’ll get to live a normal life again, then-”
“I can’t go back to how things used to be,” Though you seek the truth, you know you’re not one to remain rooted in the past. “And I can’t reclaim what I’ve lost. But all I can do for myself now is to accept it, right?”
You hold the doll closer to yourself.
If you take the apple now, eating it until only the core remains, there was no guarantee that you would be the one who would wake up in the morning.
He means well.
He always has.
But he doesn’t push further when he hears your resolve.
He glances at the red apple in his palms as it melts into an inky blank goo, spilling onto the marble floors of the dining hall.
The ribbon on your neck tightens, but even as tears form in the corners of your eyes, you have no regrets.
“It’s always better to die as yourself, huh?” He chuckles bitterly, pressing his hands together in a praying position. “Then I’ll support you as I’ve always had. It’s been nice spending time with you, Slater.”
“Cheren,” You say as your eyes close, drawing your final breath. “My name is Cheren.”
The thread tightens and tightens, and your vision goes black as you fall into the floor and sink into the growing puddle, where The Heart starts to chant a prayer for you.
