"For no reason something breaks in me and closes my throat for no reason I suddenly jump leaving the writing half done for no reason in a hotel lobby I dream standing for no reason the tree on the sidewalk hits me on the forehead for no reason a wolf howls at the moon angry unhappy hungry for no reason the stars come down to swing on the garden swing without any reason I see how I will be in the grave for no reason fog and sun in my head for no reason I cling to the day that begins as if it would never end again and every time it's you that rises from the waters."

remembering is an underrated love language🫀
I planned on going out with a friend the other day, and I was patiently waiting for them to show up.
They came in 15 minutes later with two coffees in their hand. They handed me the salted caramel coffee with crushed ice & whipped cream and I gasped in shock and softly screamed “WHAT?!?” they cutely chuckled & I’ve never felt so much love in my life.
THEY REMEMBERED I LOVE A SALTED CARAMEL COFFEE !!!!!! AAAA

I swear it’s not sad
the way I wish I were dead
because even at rock bottom
I’m still feeling something
even if it means living in a state
of being perpetually depressed
And I’m finally getting dressed
in the clothes you left laying on my bed
that you swore you’d come back to get
the week after you left
And I don’t blame the way you crept out in silence
because if I’d known you were leaving
I would’ve died kicking and screaming
and cursing you to death
Lord I wish I was dead

Table's Turned
(Her:)
I can turn it off quicker
Than you can turn me out
And when you tune me out baby
Don't think I don't know what it's about
You sing "Walk the Line" convincingly
No trace of irony like you believe
I can't see your shuffling feet
Keep 'em moving and once you leave
Don't you dare try running back to me
I will be untouchable far from reach
Already laid the foundation
On a wall you'll never breach
------------------------------------
(Him:)
You pushed me away now you pull
Me in again and I feel this is a game
I can never hope to win with the rules
Made up on the fly, your whims
Changing in the blink of your wild eyes
Saying you realize you've been a fool
But you don't fool me...even with full lips
Pressed up against mine I can read
Between the lies on your plastered walls
It's a fool's paradise, Eden's fall
I walk the line that leads away from you
And if I look back, let me turn to salt
Inspired by the prompt: he/she came back

It'll take months for you to know me. I am not a museum anymore. I'm a fortress, and I wish you stay long enough to see what's inside.

Meet me where I sit with my insecurities. Show me your vulnerabilities, scars that hurt, memories that still haunt. Meet me by the beach and tell me about your childhood memories, with or without the traumas. Meet me at the dark alley so you could share your truths, and I can unveil mine. Meet me near the lake at dusk so we could undress our shields, uncover our stories, even before a subtle bare nudge. Meet me in the clouds, and tell me that the imaginary world does exist, and you have seen magic grow in my backyard. Meet me at the hill so we can scream to the stars to make our wish come true, let’s scream so loud that the stars have no choice but to fall for us. Meet me where your heart meets mine, meet me where I meet myself.
