he's not too bad, but he is a little picky about what he will and will not drink
low key judges people for their choice of beers

started trading stocks young and did crypto till it tanked
he doesn't like to talk about his crypto days (he was a hard crypto bro at it's peak)

his parents are decently well off too but he doesn't talk to them much
they don't have a bad relationship but it's definitely one of those 'you see the family only around the holidays' kind of deals

rarely has people over to his place, took him a while to fully mentally accept having you over
he was determined to get over it though cause he really wanted you around
would never shower with someone cause that just feels unsanitary-- the shower is for CLEANING

Probably not a surprise to anyone but he got bullied a lot in high school
Has been writing poetry since he was 10 and has notebooks full of poems and short stories from over his life
really wants to write some kind of vampire mystery series centered around a brooding poet vampire but also he's bad at writing mysteries
I've sad this before but he's in a book club with Nimh and Cashew
he keeps trying to get them to read romantic novels

Look, I'm not saying all the problems in Star Wars could've been solved by everyone being able to say "I love you" whenever they wanted, but like,,
Romantically, platonically, between family- these emotionally repressed weirdos deserved to express their love for each other during the Big events and the small ones.
Tell me Qui-Gon wouldn't have told Obi-Wan that he loved him.
Look me in the eyes and tell me Obi-Wan telling Anakin at every available moment that he loved him wouldn't have prevented Anakin turning to the dark side.
Tell me it wouldn't have been cathartic as hell to hear Luke tell his newly-redeemed father "I love you".
Hell- Let Poe Dameron tell BB-8 that he loves him!!- Then people around the base pick up the habit of saying it!!
Imagine a world where sentiment wasn't reserved for times of crisis, and was instead given openly and honestly. Isn't that part of the whole thing with hope and the light and whatnot??
Because I know, at least for me, being able to freely tell people that I love them rather than reserving it helped me feel less like I was coveting a rare resource, and more like I was being truthful to those I truly cared about. It doesn't matter if it's reciprocated*, because keeping my people from knowing I love them feels like selfish, cowardly lying.
*Obviously reciprocation is great but I know sometimes people need to learn how to be loved, I'm chill

Scale:
-he is such a loser lmao.
-Scale will not, under any circumstance, confess first. It simply will not happen. He's way too prideful for that.
-But he WILL constantly be trying to seduce you into doing it first.
-He's showing off constantly, trying to get you to marvel at his muscles and his cool dagger collection and his sick ninja moves. Which is perfectly fine, except for the fact that he's so. Completely obvious about it. There is not an ounce of subtly in that boy.
-However, he'll constantly find himself forgetting about his crusade, only to immediately snap back to reality and trying to cover his tracks.
-"You look really pretty today. Ah- Did I say pretty??? I meant- uh- pale! You're not sick, right? No...? Uh, good... why did I say that..."
-He's so obvious about it that you pick up on his crush really fast. Please do the both of you a favor and just confess first. Unless you just particularly like watching him struggle (understandable).
Poe:
-Poe doesn't crush easily, but when he does he crushes hard.
-He knows he likes you when your name starts to stick to the tip of his tongue. When lyrics in his favorite songs sound different, when his writing comes out mushy and romantic...
-However, Poe isn't exactly an optimist. He'll likely assume off the bat that you wouldn't like him back and gives in to one-sided pining.
-The disappointment makes for great poetry! So he's pretty cool with it.
-He's not very obvious when it comes to his crush. At least, that's what he thinks, but it definitely shows in small ways.
-Poe will only confess first if he's pretty positive that you like him back. If you make it obvious that you also like him, then he'll give in fairly quickly and bring up the topic. If you're more subtle, he'll really take his time to make sure before telling you how he feels.
-50% chance he confesses with a poem. 50% chance he confesses in a joke.
