night shift
CW cursing, child neglect, sexual harassment, misgendering, drunk person (although not very well written lol), general violence, slight infantilization
idk i wanted to try my hand at writing some shitty platonic yandere batfam x transmasc reader (its self indulgence bby)
Hunger pained (y/n)'s stomach. Stupid cheapskate convenience store didn't give employee discounts though so he had to wait until he got home to eat anything, if there was even anything to eat that wasn't spoiled. (y/n) would have just stolen something to eat from the store (he didn't give a shit about their profit) but the security camera mocking him in the corner kept him from it. And with his phone almost dead (y/n) had nothing to do but stair at the wall and listen to the shitty radio station the store played.
(y/n) hated the night shift, it almost guarantied he would have to deal with more crackheads and drunks than his coworkers. Regardless of his feelings about the night shift it paid the most (even though that was still barely minimum wage), and he really needed the money. Even though (y/n) still lived with his mother (and technically father but he was hardy ever around), his parents had stopped taking care of him a long time ago. So (y/n) was the one to take care of himself. Sometimes he had to take care of his mother too, reminding her to eat or sleep. The bells on the door jangled, shaking (y/n) from his train of thought. Ah yes, the other type of Gotham crazies. Vigilantes.
"Hey kid."
"I'm not a kid." for some reason the batclan had decided that the 5th avenue convenience store was the best place for mid-patrol snacks.
"Ah yes, the old and wise 18 year old. My bad." Red Hood had a thick layer of sarcasm in his mechanical voice. (y/n) couldn't see his face from behind his helmet but was entirely sure he had the stupidest smirk underneath. (y/n) simply rolled his eyes (fighting back a smile) as hood moved about the store grabbing a random assortment of food and drinks. As hood was filling his arms the bell sounded again, this time it was a middle-aged man. (y/n) could smell the alcohol on him from the register. The man looked around, stopping as he saw (y/n).
"Welll helllooo~" the man had started leaning on the counter of the register. "Yoou're a fine slut, i could show you a reeall goOod time~" He smelled even worse up close. (y/n) sent a panicked glance over to Red Hood who had dropped his things and was now walking aggressively towards the man. "Wha you ignorin me BITCH!" the man lifted his arm to strike. (y/n) flinched, lifting his arms to cover his face.
"Leave. Him. Alone." Hood's voice was dark and low. His grip on the man's arm was painful if the man's face was any indicator.
"H-hey Mr. Red Hood. me and the lil' lady were just havin a niice talk." The man had lost any confidences and aggression he once had in fount of the crime lord. "She wuz jus bein a bitch, you understaannd right?" he sniveled. A sickening crunch was heard from the mans arm where Red Hood's grip tightened. The man started convulsing with pain and screaming. (y/n) felt sick.
"I'm going to deal with this trash. I'll be right back." Hood dragged the man out of the store, bells jingling behind him. It was moments like this where (y/n) remembered just how dangerous Red Hood actually was. Living in Gotham, (y/n) had gotten unfortunately used to getting catcalled and harassed, but he could never stop the shaking of his hands and the sinking feeling in his stomach that came with it.
Moments later the bells sounded again, (y/n) couldn't help but jump slightly. It was Red Hood.
"Sorry about that kid." hood picked up the food he had dropped earlier and set it on the counter.
"Ah, it's ok." (y/n) hated how small he sounded. Taking a breath he started to scan the things hood had picked out and tried to steady himself. "It's Gotham, shit like that happens all the time."
"That doesn't make it ok." Hood sounded softer than before. (y/n) felt anger crawl up his throat, the bats always treated him like a kid. Even Robin! And he was, like, 12!
"That'll be $29.47, you want a bag?" (y/n) tried not to show his anger. As upset as he might have been, Hood did just save him from an icky situation.
"Nah." Hood picked up half of what he bought with one arm as he flipped a 50 onto the counter. "Keep the change." He started to leave.
"Hood, you're forgetting half your shit." He had left a large banana nut muffin, a pack of gummy sharks, a chocolate milk, and a packet of pizza flavored combos.
"They're for you kid, you look starving." He was out the door before (y/n) could protest.
(y/n) sighed with a light smile, well at least he wouldn't be hungry for the rest of his shift.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jason was fucking livid. This god damn BASTARD! Who the fuck did he think he was, harassing his little brother. Raising his FILTHY had at him. Jason was seething.
"RR" Jason turned his comm on.
"Jonathan Davis, 54, 237 Maple Street, apartment 122, married to Eliza Davis, daughter is Maria Davis, place of work 57 West End Road." Tim already knew, he was watching it from the security camera back at the cave.
"I only spared him so that you could make his life something worse than death." Jason staired down at the beaten and bruised body of the man.
"Don't worry. It will be." Tim's voice was cold and calculated. No doubt already planning all the ways this man would watch his life fall apart.
Jason leaned down to the barely conscious man, "If you DARE go fucking near him again, I'll leave your head for your wife and daughter to find in your fridge." the man simply looked at him with fear. Jason grabs him by the scalp, "Do you understand?" his tone was dark, made even more intimidating by the mechanical modulator.
"Y-yes! I understand! I understand!" the man cried.
"Good." Jason shoved his head back into the filthy ground of the alleyway. 'right where trash belongs' Jason thought to himself.

Between the two of you, you are the runt.
Your brother had taken almost all of your energy at birth, leaving you weak and frail.
It was unlikely that you were to survive. In Talia’s eyes, that meant you were useless. Ra’s, on the other hand, believed in second chances. He believed that with perseverance and ambition, you would be equal, if not, greater than your brother!
That didn’t matter to Talia. Why waste all that time and energy, if you were going to die anyway? Ultimately, the choice was hers.
She left you in an alley on a cold, dark, rainy night in nothing but a dirty, old box.
Alone to cry, alone to die…
Only a few nights after, maybe less, someone heard your cries and searched you out.
A man decked out in a leather, brown jacket, combat boots, and military pants with straps, and holsters wrapped around his legs. A red symbol of a bat is plastered across his chest and his red helmet with angry, pupil-less eyes gave a menacing aura, giving a face to fear for those sorry criminals who knew him.
You weren’t fazed by the intimidating gaze the helmet gave off; you were hungry, you were thirsty, so very cold, and your loud cries had turned hoarse and quiet.
Jason removed his leather jacket, picking you up and wrapping your tiny body with it.
Anger bubbled inside him - what kind of monster leaves a child, a baby, to die out here? A slow, agonizing death of starvation?
The vigilante bounces you in his arms, holding you close to his chest, and shielding you from the rain as he walks out of the dingy, dark alleyway where he and you were once in.
Originally, he was gonna place you in an orphanage. Jason wasn't fit to be a father, he doesn't believe so. Unfortunately, there aren't any orphanages nearby - none that he could trust, at least. So he kept you at his apartment for a few days.
During those few days, Jason had to learn a thing or two about taking care of a baby. He knew the basic necessities - diapers, blankets, wipes - but things like finding the right formula, baby-proofing his apartment, and strollers are things that Jason has no idea about.
He remembered carrying you in his arms swaddled in whatever blankets he could find around his home to his nearest grocery store. Jason was unsure, lost, and understandably, nervous. Carrying a baby to the store was very foreign to him, at the same time, natural. With the help of a few kind samaritans and some nice neighbors though, Jason was able to get through it smoothly.
You were a very happy baby anyway. A curious one at that.
Your eyes would wander everywhere and anywhere. You always wanted to see what’s going on, you always wanted to know what’s going on.
One time, Jason had come back from a very rough night of patrol. You were fast asleep in your crib, that is, until the door to you and his shared bedroom opened.
You had slowly opened your eyes as Jason tiredly and grumpily took off all his gear, throwing them to the side without care. You watch as Jason sits on the edge of his bed, seemingly staring at nothing as he sighs.
You were only a few months old at the time, and you didn’t hesitate to babble out your nightly greetings, making yourself known to Jason.
Jason looked over at you, before turning back and sighing, then standing up. “Sorry, did I wake you?” He walks over to your crib where you smile happily and excitedly mumble gibberish.
Jason couldn’t help but smile as well.
He had to admit it. You are a pretty cute kid. Your radiant smile was just too contagious.
He picked you up then laid on his bed with you resting on his chest. You continued to smile and babble on, almost as if asking about his day. Jason chuckled and simply nodded to whatever you were saying. “Yeah.. I had a pretty rough day..”
Your little conversation continued, until he heard a crash below that frightened you. Loud shouting and yelling resumes afterwards, and before Jason knows it, you start whimpering. Jason never liked it when you cried, he found. It ignited something in him, an almost feral protectiveness over you.
He tried to comfort you by patting your bum and hushing you. “It’s alright, kid.. I’m here.”
But the noises never stopped. It only dragged on with more crashes, more shouting, more yelling. It was so loud, Jason is sure he isn’t the only one that’s hearing it.
For you, it got to be too much and so you whimpered, and gripped his tank top. “Dada..”
Jason stops and looks down at you. “What?”
You nuzzle your head into his tank top in hopes you could either block out the noises or hide in Jason’s arms. “Dada..”
Something erupted in Jason that day. He isn’t sure how to describe it. Like a spark that fired something up in him.
Jason remembered putting back on his gear for a moment and going straight down to where the noises were coming from. You were swaddled in a red blanket, nuzzled to his chest as he held you close.
He barged into that apartment and found a couple fighting.
For what reason? He didn't know, and he didn’t care.
He aimed his pistol at them, and it was all it took for them to go silent.
“Would you kindly shut the fuck up?” He demands coldly.
“There are children in this building.”
From that day on, Jason promised you he would never leave your side. He promised to forever be with you and never leave you alone like he had been his whole life.
As you grew, your curiosity and happiness grew with you, culminating into great energy with which you ran around the apartment ever since you took your first steps. Your joy was full of childish innocence and naivety, but your curiosity kept you hungry for knowledge thus making you more aware than kids your age.
“What’s that?”
“It’s a gun.”
“What does it do?”
“It shoots and kills people.”
“...Can I touch it?”
“No.”
At first, Jason thought you wanted to know the basic things that all kids your age wanted to know - which was true, but you wouldn’t ask the typical questions he expected.
“Why is he in cuffs?”
“Because he murdered his family.”
“Why did he do that?”
“...”
“Because he’s a sick man, Angel…”
Jason slowly started to realize you had a morbid sense of curiosity. It came natural to you.
“Daddy?”
“Yeah, kid?”
“Why do men eat other men?”
“Because they get off on it.”
“Why?”
“...”
On one hand, he’s proud of your desire to know everything. On the other hand, he’s worried that your curiosity can lead you to doing things that could get you into trouble, dangerous things.
God forbid he’ll ever let that happen. So Jason would try to be upfront with you about it. Sure, it isn’t something young kids should know, but it’s better that he tells you the reality instead of sugar coating it and letting you find out for yourself. Plus, if it does scare you, it keeps you by his side at all times - it’s win-win for him.
Around ten years old, you wanted to join Jason on his nightly patrols.
He outright rejected you. You weren’t too happy about it, of course, he expected this. But he’ll be damned if he puts you in danger - there was no way he was gonna let some fuck-up criminal come anywhere near his baby girl. If he touches them, Jason, for sure, will see red.
But this is Jason. You were raised by him, and although you went along with whatever he told you to do, whatever warnings he gave to you - you weren’t going to go along this time.
You needed to know what it was like - the vigilante life!
A few failed attempts to keep you from home was all it took before Jason gave up and decided ‘fuck it.’ “If you insist on doing this with me, then I’m going to train you how to work with me.”
And train you, he did.
Jason taught you boxing, karate, taekwondo. He was ruthless in his training, often you came home, bruised and exhausted. He’d wake you up early to teach you basic defense skills and sharpen your reflexes. He’d test you on your ability to take down a knife, to incapacitate someone, to pin someone to the floor.
All of it was tiring, but you were persistent, and so desperate to know that it ended up becoming your goal to become another hero for the people of Gotham City.
By the time you were twelve, you became the new sidekick to Red Hood, going under the alter ego - Scarlet.
You mostly stayed on the sidelines, acting as more of a scout for sneaking into buildings and looking for any possible evidence, ways for Jason to get in, overhearing any juicy drug plans ect.
You were kept away from combat, rarely ever getting into fights, Jason made sure of that.
You didn’t mind. The entire experience of hearing and watching all the interesting crime scenes, the investigations, and the cool ways your father took down thugs - all of it was so thrilling and exciting to you!
Jason, however, was paranoid. It was always a risk to send you in by yourself, and sometimes his fear would become too much, and he just decides to keep you on the look-out. Good thing though is that you were a good kid. You listen to your father most of the time, and rarely get yourself into danger. Everything seemed normal, in your own ways.
Then Jason met your grandfather.
He learned of your existence, your birth, your father, and most of all, the parent who abandoned you - Talia.
Jason has some ‘history’ with that woman, and he isn’t really fond of her, but now.
Oh, now he despises her.
Ra’s was hoping to take you back, raise you under his wing and become part of his League of Assassins.
Jason won’t have it. This man allowed his own granddaughter to be left for dead and now he expects to have her back as if he didn’t let you be killed?
“That kid is mine.” Jason spat.
“She’s not yours. She never was and never will be.” Jason turns his back on Ra’s, beginning to walk away as the man watches him blankly.
“And if you or any of your little posse come anywhere near my girl. I’ll make sure every single one of you is buried six feet under.”
And with that, he left.
He never mentioned it to you, but little did he know, you had heard his conversation with Ra’s.
You heard everything.
Did that change anything? No.
Jason is still your dad, you were his little girl and you two love each other very much.
You guys are family, no matter what.
And speaking of family, you met your father…

From the Outside
Part 1 (you're here) | Part 2 (Coming soon)
Platonic!Yandere Batfam x Neglected Batsib!reader (GN)
Summary: You were living your life as a stranger in the house you were supposed to call home, an outsider in a group of people who were supposed to be your family. So you do your best to keep yourself distracted from your situation and go on with your life. But just how long will you be able to keep on with that?
! Minors Do Not Interact !
Requested by @sol565
TW: Not much in this one, neglect (obviously), loss of relatives, car crash (mentioned), cancer (mentioned), swearing, coming up to Yandereness in the next chapters. I'll try to proofread and edit once I finish the whole thing.

Last night you dreamed of your family again. It was a pleasant dream, one that had you wishing to keep on dreaming even after you were woken up by your alarm. All of you were sitting at the dinner table, enjoying Alfred’s excellent cooking. The room was filled with happiness and joy, the kind of atmosphere that has you reminiscing about that day for ages. In your dream you felt so weightless, Damian was sitting opposite you as he listened to you talk about your day, an anecdote of you leading to laughter filling the room. Your mother ruffled your hair from where she was sitting beside you and as you smiled up to her you felt filled with love. Around the table, the Waynes were actively interested in the conversation and Bruce was asking you a question leading to a cheeky comment from your left side. You knew what was said, but you couldn’t understand the voice. Confused you looked to where your father should be sitting but only a distorted shadow figure looked back at you.
It opened whatever would be most akin to a mouth and a blaring sound echoed out of it. Your eyes flew open as you slapped your bedside table to grab your phone. 7 A.M, time to get up. This dream had been haunting you for a few weeks now, the idyllic family dinner turning into an unpleasant reminder of your situation. At first, you had woken up in a cold sweat and slightly fearful from the end, but by now you had grown very accustomed to it. Just another part of your day to get through.
You accepted to pay the mental price for the opportunity to see your mother again, if only during the nights.
Another look at your phone to check the notifications and you got up and got dressed. Given the time you knew that you still had enough time to join your adopted siblings for breakfast, but even Alfred's amazing pancakes and french toast could to move you into the kitchen. Deciding to just nap something from your friends during lunch break at school, you grabbed your bag and jacket before quickly making your way through the manor. Like almost every morning you silently prayed that you wouldn’t come across anyone on your way to the front door. Eighty per cent of the time you were lucky, fifteen per cent you were just ignored and the other five per cent you found yourself stuck in painfully awkward small talk with the people who lived on the same floor as you. People who were supposed to be your closest friends and confidants. People who weren’t that. People who were more akin to strangers.
Today you were in luck as you managed to slip out of the giant house you hated to call home without having to talk to anyone. Getting onto your scooter, you made your way to the school, enjoying the air in your face through the helmet and the feeling of freedom that only came to you on rare occasions.
The school was still fairly empty when you arrived - as was expected - so you had the honour of walking through the empty halls like you owned the place. A sentiment that some of your schoolmates even believed. You wanted to tell them that you had no need for your Guardians money, no interest in his family’s name or his family’s reputation. Bitter thoughts filled your mind, leaving a taste of anger, of disappointment, of anguish on your tongue. They weren’t helped by what you saw when you stopped in front of the trophy showcase. There were pictures of some of the best former student-athletes that had attended the school, and the most recognizable was a picture that was proudly displayed right on eyesight. It was at a sporting event that had happened some twenty to thirty years earlier, one that was still held bi-annually. The winners of different disciplines were smiling proudly into the camera, arms around each other.
Taking the spotlight was a man that every proud Gothamite would recognize as a young Bruce Wayne on one side, a different boy who people tended to overlook based on his less noticeable features and the lack of fame he had, and in the middle of both of them stood Bruce’s former best friend. Your mother. Your late mother.
She had been a beautiful, stunning, talented woman. Everyone who had ever known her told you that. You tried to take some solace in the fact that they told you how alike the two of you were, both in looks and in personality. It did nothing to quell the underlying pain though, the pain still boiling inside you, pain that over the years had turned into anger. You weren’t angry with your mother, of course, you knew that she had not chosen to fall sick, that she had not chosen to succumb to cancer. She had loved you with all her heart and only ever wanted you to be happy. This is why, when your grandparents died in a shooting shortly after her diagnosis, she put it in her will that after her passing you were to be taken care of by her lifelong friend Bruce Wayne. After all, he already had kids and he was rich, just like she and her parents had been - money and estates that now waited on you to turn 18 to take charge of - and he’d be surely able to give you the life and the love she always wanted you to have.
Sadly, your mother had not known Bruce quite as well as she had believed she did. She had no idea that he spent his nights as the infamous Batman, or that the kids he adopted had been turned into fighting machines - sometimes even killers. She had no idea that he was not the amazing, loving and attentive father figure she had wanted you to have. Not even close.
You suppose he had tried at one point. When you were a young child, grieving the loss of your entire family and everything that you had known, he had taken you in like one of his own and assured you that from then on he’d protect you. Back then you had believed him. After all, your mother had told you so many great things about him, why should she lie. And with elder brothers and sisters, a Butler who made sure you had your favourite foods whenever you felt sad and a man who tried his best to be the father you never had. They did lots of work to spend time with you and to pay attention to you which would ensure you wouldn’t notice their weird habits and absences. But of course that couldn’t work forever. After a few months, you found out about their best (and somehow at the same time worst) kept secret and as you walked through the Batcave by Bruce’s side everything changed. He didn’t directly offer to train you, but he did insinuate that it was an option, though you declined. You couldn’t see yourself hurting others. You wanted to help like your mom had helped, by volunteering, bettering the world peacefully. Bruce had assured you that that was a completely acceptable decision and that it wouldn’t change anything. But he had lied. Perhaps knowingly, perhaps not. Maybe some of both.
Once you were aware of their second life, they didn’t put in the effort to pay enough attention to you to make you unaware of their secret. At first, they still spent time with you, but over time it seemed like you were blending into obscurity like a special bottle of champagne that was planned to be open on a special occasion only. Just that the bottle was usually remembered after the occasion had passed in annoyance. You weren’t. And as you phased out of their minds and into oblivion, you made peace with your place in the family. An outsider, a stranger inside their house, just waiting until the time had come for you to finally live your own life.
Of course, you knew you could have it worse. You had enough money to fulfil every wish you had as long as it was material, always had something to wear, something to eat, and somewhere to sleep. The only thing you didn’t have was love. But especially in Gotham you knew that you got away rather luckily with that, so while you were deeply angry towards the people who had promised to treat you like family, to love you, you also tried to just get on with your life.
It would have been easier if it wasn’t just so hard to look at your so-called siblings as if you didn’t resent them for the way they treated you, compared to one another. Somehow showing any interest in you or attempting to spend any time with you was a chore, but somehow Jason and Cass could have a little book club, Jason and Dick could go out for lunch at a cat-cafe, Steph, Cass and Tim could have Spa-days and all of them could have an occasional movie night together. It wasn’t explicitly stated that you weren’t welcome, but you had seen how they acted when you were with them compared to how they acted when you were hiding behind the door listening in. They seemed so much happier without you. As if your mere presence ruined the mood. So you started rejecting their invitations to join and it only took one of two attempts of them to stop asking completely.
You might have been able to cope better with the obvious dismissal of your existence if it had been because you hadn’t been part of the family when they had forged their close bond, but somehow, even when Damian joined, acting like a complete asshole to everyone around him, they managed to include him and when he warmed up to them he joined their close group.
So your newness surely could not have been that big of an issue right? Even Damian, completely new to the family and surely aggressive towards all of his pseudo siblings, seemed to know you were less than the others since he didn’t even bother to insult you, instead opting to ignore you. Completely. A glance spared, looking you up and down, and he had decided you were not worth it and his opinion seemingly still hadn’t changed. Sure by now you had talked with him a few times, but you could say the same about the fucking mayor of Gotham so you were sure that did not really count.
Sometimes, you lay in your bed at night, wide awake, wondering just why you were worth so much less in their eyes. What you had done wrong. Two answers usually presented themselves before you. Either it was because you weren’t a vigilante, something that you might even have been willing to accept, or it was… you. Just you. And for some reason, that was the answer that seemed more plausible to you. Maybe you were just unpleasant to be around, not fitting enough for their family. Not interesting enough, not Wayne enough.
And so you were cursed to live your life like a ghost in what is supposed to be your home. Going in and out every day, just waiting for the day to come when you could move into the penthouse your grandparents had bought you before they died, which would become your legal property in just a few years. You’d start anew. Maybe one day, after a long time and probably a lot of therapy, you’ll be able to start your own family. One that you’d promise not to fuck up like Bruce had. Until then though, you’d go on like always, spend as little time in that Manor as possible and try to distract yourself from your reality.
You really did spend very little time at the manor. For one, no one in that house cared when you left or when you came back except maybe Alfred, but even he either knew that you could properly use the freedom or he was too busy to care. Probably a mix of both. And along with that, you had started a very active life outside of your family. You had a lot of friends, though you were not ready to call any of them close friends, always knowing about how many of them were after the publicity of your actual and current family name and the money and fame connected to it. But they were nice enough and they distracted you so you didn’t mind. Especially because you used said popularity to help the people in town. You managed to get a lot of your friends to volunteer alongside you in different homeless shelters, though a lot of them tended to post dozens of pictures which made you feel a bit icky about them trying to profit from helping others, but you knew you couldn’t complain because it did help the shelters. The shelters told you so themselves.
Most of your ‘pocket money’ was donated and the rest of the time was spent doing different activities, be it arts, sports, parties or just wasting the day away. You did your best to cram as much into your day-to-day life as you could to keep you from thinking too much. To stop you from thinking too much about how messed up you were now, how you couldn’t even confide in any of your friends, how you didn’t even really manage to call them your friends, because you couldn’t allow yourself to let anyone close to you anymore, because you knew you weren’t worth it, because you knew you’d be disappointed and hurt again.
These dark thoughts were kept inside, slowly eating at you like termites, while on the outside you kept on being the happy-go-lucky Gotham personality that people loved to follow. Though you didn’t post a lot on your own social media, your friends and people around you did, which the public loved for some reason. And so you kept up the act, because what else could you do? Let people know you’re hurting? So they could ridicule you for your rich people's problems? Or keep out of the public eye? And have to face the lonely darkness that was your life? No, you’d rather keep on pretending like you had been for years now. Even if it meant being a piece of entertainment for other people who could turn on you at any second.
The day at school was mostly uneventful, only a short moment of passing by Damian ruined your mood as your classmates did their usual shtick of asking if that wasn’t your brother and you trying to shrug them off, after all, how do you explain that your brother treated you like air not worth breathing? So you changed the topic by announcing that you’d go help out at a local shelter after school and asked if anyone wanted to join. Some excused themselves but a few agreed, which led to a group of five of you coming into the shelter a few hours later after some mandatory selfies so keep your friends placated. There was a bit more traffic inside than usual - a few people definitely not in need of help - which was probably because one of your friends posted your plans on their socials. That was something that you had to begrudgingly accept. You couldn’t afford their anger, so you made a compromise with them that they could post stuff like that, but that they couldn’t post the exact location (which in your opinion was just common sense, but it seemed not a lot of people shared that).
Ignoring the people only there to see you or be near a Wayne, you focused on helping those who needed your help, though aware of the effect you could have on the shelter business, you helped out in the kitchen where people couldn’t see you. You didn’t mind, you liked cooking and you and the fellow kitchen staff had a sort of harmonized rhythm. It even helped you get lost in thoughts that didn’t make you wanna cry, so when you got interrupted in your flow, you almost jumped in shock. One of the organizers had tapped on your shoulder.
“Y/N, there’s a man outside that wants to talk to you,” Marcus told you and nodded towards the door to the front.
“They still haven’t left? I’m really sorry Marc, if you think it’s better if I leave, then I will,” you sighed, annoyed by the turn of events.
“No, it’s not a fan. At least I think, he’s- well, he claims to have something really important to talk to you about. He gave me this to show to you, said it’ll show you he’s serious,” Marcus shrugged and held a picture out to you. It was an old Polaroid of a young couple smiling into the camera. Your breath hitched.
“Is he the guy in the picture?” you asked with a newly found seriousness.
“Yes, at least he looks like it. Is the woman-”
“Yeah, could we use the office? Only if you’re okay with it, of course.”
“Sure, no problem, go ahead, I’ll bring him to you in a minute.”
“Thank you,” you earnestly smiled at Marcus as you made your way to the door that led to the office. You were used to being nervous, but not quite as nervous as you were then. This could change a lot of things, everything if it was what you imagined it to be. You looked at the picture in your hand again before sitting down behind the desk and putting it down on the desk. There were steps behind the door coming closer, so you took a deep breath as you wiped your hands on your pant legs. The door opened and in came a man who looked just like the guy from the Polaroid. He seemed familiar, not just from that snapshot of the past, but something in his face rang a bell in your memories. You mustered him, trying to keep a stern exterior as you didn’t know if this was going to be what you thought it would be.
Marcus gestured the man to sit down on the other side of the desk, before giving you an encouraging nod and closing the door as he left.
“Hello,” you greeted the man, hands intertwined before you on the desk.
“Hello,” he responded alike and you could feel his curiosity burning through you. Had you misinterpreted this? Was this just another weird fan?
“This picture,” you looked at it again before sliding it towards him, “how do you know my mom?”
A/N: So, what do y'all think? Let me know in the comments or in my inbox ❤️ Also, I'd appreciate feedback on the title as well, not sure if I should change it or keep it.

Blowing Raspberries
Batfam x Male!Reader Platonic
@jaythes1mp Sorry this took so long and is not all in one part! But here is the first half.
TW: Break in, Child Abuse (not the Batfam), and neglect
Publicly, Richard ‘Dick’ Grayson is the oldest Wayne sibling. Taken in by Bruce Wayne at 8-years-old, he is the first child and the oldest. In the eyes of the law and adoption papers. In the eyes of the Wayne family however, the oldest sibling title belongs to Y/N L/N. Similar to the Drakes, the L/N’s live on the other side of the Waynes, and similar to Tim, Y/N had been left home alone… a lot.
Which meant he was over, a lot. So much so, he had his own room, Alfred made him a plate for every meal, and he was aware of their little nightly activities. Y/N L/N was a needed normalcy within the Manor, reminding them that there is more to life outside of crime fighting.
“Did you see that new cafe?” Y/N asked, looking into Dick’s exhausted eyes while resting his chest against Jason’s head. Dick shook his head, “No. Why?” Y/N pouted, “Because you guys literally broke their windows last night.” Jason winced, remembering the shattering of glass and wide-eyed stares as he handled some thugs.
“Please tell me that isn’t the cafe you wanted to go to today.” Dick buried his head in his hands and begged every deity that it was not that cafe. Y/N has been talking about it for weeks and finally found a time where all their schedules aligned so they could do it.
“It was.” Jason and Dick groaned while Y/N stared at them with an annoyed expression. His arms that were wrapped around Jason tightened in a mocking chokehold, knowing that if Jason wanted to he could easily get out and have Y/N pinned. Dick groaned again, “Is… is there somewhere else you want to try?”
“Not really.” ‘Fuck!’ Jason and Dick stared at one another, trying to figure out a way to still have this day with Y/N. If they don’t hurry, the vultures will swoop in and suggest something that will catch Y/N’s attention and–
“Y/N, how about we got to the petting zoo.”
“Dami!”
“Buzz off short stack!” Y/N thumped Jason’s head with his chin, “Don’t talk to Dami like that.” The youngest Wayne smiled victoriously while his two older brothers glared at him. Dick looked offended and Jason was actually ready to strangle him. Y/N shook his head, “Dami, aren’t we going on Friday? I’m picking you up from school to go.” Damian scrunched his nose, “We can go twice.”
Y/N couldn’t help but to chuckle, “Hmmm, those rabbits are cute.” Jason’s grip tightened, “The new bookstore in downtown! There’s a new bookstore that is supposed to have a cafe attached to it.” Damian scowled at Dick perked up, “Yeah, I forgot about that.” Y/N hummed, staring at Jason in concern, “Jay, you hate downtown.” It’s full of rich snobs and people who have nothing better to do than walk the streets in designer clothing.
Jason made a face, “It’s our day with you, I’m fine with it as long as you’re there.” Dick gagged and Damian looked ready to chuck a knife at him. Y/N blinked at the younger man in shock before laughing, “That’s cute, okay. Let’s go there then.” He released Jason from his hold, unwrapping his arms from Jason’s neck and standing tall. Dick smiled at Y/N, who was talking to a pouting Damian and ruffling slicked back hair.
“Alright, Y/N, I'm assuming you’re ready.” Unlike the Wayne brothers who had a father that did not care why they landed on the NEWS or magazine as long as they didn’t kill anyone, Y/N’s father was different. For someone who was always gone, he had a firm hold and opinions on Y/N’s life.
Bruce may not care that his kids go out looking like they haven’t showered in three days, but Y/N’s dad has ordered the maids to get rid of all the ripped jeans Y/N had because the paparazzi made an opinion on them when Y/N wore them. Jason remembers listening in on that call, and numerous other calls from Mr. L/N, as he hollered at his child he did not care about.
“You are a L/N! If you still want that last name then you will dress like a L/N!”
Unlike Dick and Jason who are dressed in jeans, Y/N is dressed in slacks and a nice polo shirt. His hair was clean and styled and the shoes he wore still shined. The aesthetic is called ‘old money’ and boy did Y/N have that. He and the Wayne siblings have become the newest trend setters in Gotham.
Whenever the paparazzi caught them together it was always Old Gotham vs New Gotham. Slacks vs Jeans. Hair combed vs natural. Clean vs Rugged. L/N vs Wayne.
They were the topic whenever they were out together, which was a lot. The only reason Mr. L/N hasn’t said anything is probably because Bruce is keeping his mouth shut about the child-neglect and abandonment. Point is, seeing the Wayne kids and L/N son together wasn’t odd, in fact there were jokes of Bruce Wayne adopting him, but they still always turned heads.
“Y/N, I am telling you that is a horrible choice and you’re not gonna like it.” Said young man raised an eyebrow at Jason and tutted disappointedly, “Jay, you haven’t even read it.” The guy motioned at the cover, “Look at it! Dick! Come ‘ere and look at it!” The other made only a side glance at it and sighed, “Y/N… this is only going to lead to problems.”
“It is literally a book about romance.” Jason screwed up his face, like someone had shoved a lemon down his throat, “But like… young adult romance. Read the classics.”
“I have read the classics. You have read me the classics. I read them in class and if I have to read how Ms. Elizabeth Barnett falls in love with Mr. Darcy one more time I’m actually going to throw myself in traffic.” Dick agreed with Y/N on that, remembering all the time he had to read the damn book.
“It's Elizabeth Bennett.”
“Jay, I swear to God.”
“Are you sure you read them because there’s no way someone who’s read them would get that name wrong.”
“Little wing–”
“–Dickie, maybe. But not anybody else.”
“–Excuse you.” Y/N snorted at the now bickering brothers, watching in amusement as Dick pulled Jason’s ear and Jason to Dick’s hair. Sighing, Y/N stepped between the two. Y/N L/N is possibly the only person, other than Alfred, who would dare do such a thing. Fear was absent on his face as he calmly walked into the dog fight, and helped release their bites with gentle tugs and stern words.
“Enough. The line is picking up at the cafe, so let's checkout and head over.” Y/N is the person who quells the fights and mends the bonds. The only person in the Manor that knew how to communicate their feelings and help others realize and communicate theirs.
He is the kind, patient, and understanding older brother of the Batfam. Always paying attention to other’s needs and always willing to listen to someone vent their frustrations and offer sound advice. Y/N is –
“–And what about the company?! How come the sales are low this month?”
“Father, they are riding average, it’s just the last month was a boom because–”
“I don’t care about last month! Why are the sales low this month?!”
– not Bruce Wayne’s ward, and therefore there isn’t much he can say in this scenario. Bruce listened and watched  Y/N slouch as Mr. L/N continued to scream and berate him from across the world. He watched the exhaustion take over Y/N’s features and the way his forehead creased, Bruce knows that a headache is now present.
“If you still want the company then you better act like it! Enough of prancing around like the money you spend is yours!” Y/N is grateful his father hung up after that, because Y/N had a clapback to that and he’s sure his father would fly back from wherever he is just to smack him around for saying it.
Setting his phone down on the coffee table, the weight of the conversation making his shoulders sag and melt into the armchair with a huff. Bruce chuckled at the pout, “For what it is worth, fluctuating prices are normal in businesses. As long as it doesn’t go too low, you are fine.” Y/N smiled at the man, fixing his posture and picking up the mug of coffee.
“You heard all of that?” The man can still remember when he first met Y/N. The property alarm was triggered, and when Bruce and Alfred went out to investigate, an 8-year-old Y/N was there, his hands holding the wild raspberries and his cheeks stuffed like a chipmunk.
He huffed at the memory, making Y/N give him a weird look. Bruce had been grateful to Y/N’s impromptu trespassing, because when Dick came into his care, a now 10-year-old Y/N had welcomed the traumatized and blubbering 8-year-old. Something Bruce had little to no idea how to handle.
Then Jason came and that was a wild ride, followed by Steph, then Tim, and now Damian. That's just the Robins. It doesn’t include the others that have become family but never took the Robin mantle. Y/N had been there through it all, and welcomed each one with a smile and open arms. At the same time giving Bruce a raised eyebrow and icy glare that screamed, ‘Really? Another child?’
Y/N never faulted Bruce for his lack of communication, but he did let the man know repeatedly that while words may start fires, they can also put them out. Y/N had laid it on him one time, after a particular nasty fight with Dick and Jason.
“For a man who loves using his vocabulary to start arguments you sure don’t have the vocabulary to fix them. What are you, a toddler?”
Mending things with Y/N is always easy, because Y/N does not hold grudges. Not to mention having the emotional intelligence of a therapist, Y/N was always in-tuned to his emotions and whether he was projecting or not. Or if anyone else was. Living in a manor filled with people who have traumatic backstories and skeletons in the closets, Y/N has become the voice of reason and unbiased opinions. Similar to Alfred, just without the sass.
“Do you still like raspberries?” Bruce asked, and Y/N nodded, “You ask this every time a celebration of some sort comes up and the answer is always the same. Yes, I still love raspberries.” Y/N had once confided to Bruce, over a glass of wine, how he had asked his father if he could paint the bookshelves in his room. Little did Mr. L/N know that the color would be burgundy, the closest color to a raspberry he could get without poking someone’s eye out, and when his father found out he had the bookshelves removed and set ablaze.
Y/N got his ass handed to him when Mr. L/N came back from his trip, and was then prohibited from decorating his room without prior approval of design and permission.
Bruce had the bookshelves in Y/N’s room in the manor painted burgundy, and when Y/N saw them, it was like watching a child be told that they were not the bad child. The relief and the path to healing across his face as he took in the bookshelves.
The man watched Y/N sip his cup of coffee, watching how exhaustion seemed to seep off of him like cologne and fill the air with his tired and somewhat annoyed state. Phone calls from Mr. L/N we’re never received well by anybody, and Jason and Tim have more than once thought about sending the hateful man a few messages. Damian offered to ambush him when he came home.
Y/N quickly shot those down.
Tim came from nowhere, his face screwed tight and body tense. Y/N gave him a once over, before making space for the college student on the couch. He gave him a worried look-over, “Is everything alright?” Tim melted into Y/N’s side, huffing and grumbling about something.
Bruce’s phone vibrated, and it was a message from Tim sent before he got down here.
‘It’s in Cabo.’ Bruce huffed, already knowing that if Tim was listening then so was everyone else. Referring to Mr. L/N as an ‘it’ seemed to be everyone’s favorite pastime. Everyone but Y/N’s, but as long as it wasn’t said around him then it was fine.
“You’re going to the Gala, right?” Tim asked and Y/N nodded, “Of course, when have I ever missed one?” Tim continued to grumble a bit, but relaxed into Y/N’s side as he ran his fingers through Tim’s messy hair. God he loves it when Y/N does this. There was barely anything better than Y/N’s head massages, easily lulling him to a calm state as everyone mentally prepared for the Gala tonight.
When Y/N had turned 13, that is when he started showing up to the Galas representing L/N Industries, and he would be in Bruce’s care while there. Whoever Bruce met, Y/N was expected to make a great impression. Bruce never missed the way Y/N would sometimes stare at the Wayne kids in jealousy as they got to do whatever they want, while he is forced to be an adult and try to win other adults over.
Then forced to be yelled at afterwards by his father on the phone afterwards for something miniscule. Either someone commented on a piece of clothing, or how he wasn’t smiling, anything that was negative Y/N got yelled at for. It was like Mr. L/N didn’t know how to do anything else other than yell at his child.
Tim took no offense when the fingers in his hair stopped moving, and Y/N’s body became limp. The other was knocked out on the couch, napping away the stress and enjoying the weekend. Unlike Tim who had Bruce’s help when managing Wayne Enterprises, Y/N is all on his own. Learning from his dad’s assistant, and also Bruce’s, Y/N was basically alone when his father had forced him to take the mantle. In face only, because as far as Mr. L/N was concerned, the company’s profit was still his profit. None of it going to Y/N, except as a monthly allowance.
Jason had once said he should just stop managing the company, and if his father loved it enough, then he’ll take over. Y/N chuckled-the bags under his eyes were deep and he had just gotten over a stress cold- and he said that although his father may care a lot about the profit, it was his late mother’s company and he wouldn’t want to embarrass her soul by purposefully failing.
However, now all that company did was cause him stress and make him sick more frequently. Bruce had said it was probably stress from his father, and not so much the company, but that didn’t stop them all from wishing the company would just go away.
Tim looked up Y/N through his eyelashes, taking in the similar dark circles they both shared and how Y/N looks paler than usual, and he knows that Y/N’s health would only get worse if they targeted the company. His oldest brother would do everything in his power to keep the company afloat, and it would be devastating on both sides. Y/N would run himself ragged trying to keep it alive and that would mean less time with them.
“Let him rest, Tim. He needs it.” Everyone has asked Bruce if he plans to do something. However, there isn’t much Bruce can do now that Y/N is an adult. He’s offered a room in a manor for Y/N to stay at forever, but Y/N has always been a bit hesitant about leaving the L/N’s home. Bruce can understand why.
Aged blue eyes observed the steady rise and fall of Y/N’s chest, and he wondered if there was anything that could convince Y/N to stay here.
++++
“Mr. L/N, what a surprise.” A surprise it is too, because instead of Y/N being here, it is his father. The one who was in Cabo earlier today. The man smiled, looking nothing like Y/N’s, and he held out a hand, “It has been a while. I figured it was time to show my face and give my son a rest.” Dick stared at Mr. L/N in shock and weariness, not liking how he said ‘his son.’ If it was a jab at Bruce, it didn’t land. Brucie Wayne, the social bug he was, laughed and clapped his hand on Mr. L/N’s shoulder.
“Is Y/N not showing up?” The man’s eyebrow twitched, “No, unfortunately he felt under the weather so he’s taking a break.” Dick’s eyes narrowed, and Bruce’s smile faltered, “Is that so? How unfortunate, he’s fun to talk to.” Mr. L/N’s smile tightened, “Indeed.”
The Gala was tense, at least it was for the Wayne family, because Y/N never misses a Gala. Never. Dick saved a slice of raspberry cheesecake, for when Y/N comes over tomorrow. He’s going to be upset that he missed a fresh slice, but knowing Y/N, he’ll worry about missing the Gala. The cheesecake will act as reassurance that no one is mad. They just had to wait until tomorrow, when Y/N will show up.
Only he didn’t. Dick can’t remember the last time he hasn’t seen Y/N in a 24-hour period, but he does know that he didn’t like it. Almost like there was a force keeping his shoulders tight and chest heavy. Looking around, he could already see the effects it was having on others.
He didn’t answer his phone, and when they called the L/N Manor, it was one of the maids picking up and stating that Y/N was either out, sleeping, or feeling under the weather. Which doesn’t make sense because when Y/N is sick, he is always over at the Wayne manor. No one makes a better chicken noodle soup than Alfred.
They let it go. Maybe Y/N wants to be home because his dad is home?
Then the next day, there was still no Y/N. Not a text message, not a phone call, complete radio silence. Following radio silence while on patrol, radio silence from Y/N had to be one of the more terrifying forms of silence.
There was nothing. His father left late last night, and usually that would mean Y/N would be over. He would be over complaining about his dad and how he needs to work harder. He’d get a stress cold that would last for two days before he would be back to normal.
Every phone call, every text message going unanswered.
‘Y/N, I swear I’m about to break into your house. Please answer.’ The threat was real and Dick meant every word. He’s talked Jason, Damian, and surprisingly Tim from doing it but now four days of radio silence was enough to make even Bruce stir-crazy. Batman has become a little more violent throughout the week, and Bruce Wayne a little more stressed looking.
‘Hey! Sorry for the silence, I’m just not feeling too well. I’ll see you in another few days.’ Everyone read the text message, and everyone’s mind filled with the same idea.
“Honestly, with how often he’s with us you’d think he knows better than to lie.” Damian’s nose scrunched, eyeing the message as if it spit in his face. Tim shrugged, “It just means he’s hiding something.”
Bruce said nothing, falling into the role of silent protector.
“You are not actually going over in your Bat costume are you?”
In the L/N Manor
Y/N walked  the dark hallways back to his room. Under his arm was a book and in his other hand was a cup of coffee, still steaming and warming his fingers. The lightning that occasionally flashed filled the area with white light, casting long shadows and creating an eerie atmosphere.
When Y/N was younger, he used to sprint back to his room. He hated how dark and silent the hallways are, reminding him that he is alone in a place that does not want him. When he whispered to Dick that he was scared of the lightning, Dick had told Bruce and sure enough Y/N would be spending nights at the Wayne manor whenever it was forecasted to thunderstorm.
Y/N had gotten over the fear, but he still occasionally slept over when the forecast predicted rain. Just because he no longer feared it, didn’t mean he liked it.
Pausing to look out the window like some gothic prince trapped in a tower, Y/N recalled the argument he had with his dad. The older L/N making a surprise visit and berating his child when he first saw him and when he left. Y/N wondered if with the allowance he was given, if he could just move out. Apartments in the upper end of Gotham were expensive, and he’d never hear the end of it if he moved to East Gotham.
Not to mention, if he did leave to move out on his own, he’d be further from the Wayne family. Sure, Jason and Dick live on their own, and it wasn’t like Tim or Damian needed him around all the time, but it was home for him.
Maybe, he’s the one that needs them.
Lightning flashed and there was another reflection in the window.
“Ahhh!” Y/N threw his cup of coffee at the stranger behind him, and only paused in throwing the book when he saw the familiar cowl.
“Bruce! What the hell?! Oh my God, oh my God, I think I just lost like 10 years of my life.” Y/N clasped a hand over his heart, trying to calm the organ. Taking deep breaths, he finally managed to steady his heart beat and scrunched his nose at the older man. To which, Bruce Wayne glared back, “What happened to your face?”
‘Oh shit.’ Y/N sighed, “Nothing Bruce. I just fell, but what are you doing in my house? Did…did you break in?” Y/N tried to get around the taller and bigger man, but Bruce grabbed his arm. He spun Y/N around and thanks to the flash of lightning, Bruce’s jaw clenched at the fading bruises on Y/N’s face.
“Did F/N do this?”
“Bruce, I told you I just fell.” The lenses on the cowl narrowed, and Y/N saw the frown grow on the man’s face. Sighing, Y/N scrunched nose and winced when a bruise scrunched with it, “Honestly though Bruce, how did you even get in here? No, how did you even guess this hallway?”
“You’re rooms this way.”
“Ahhhhh!” Y/N screamed and ran into Bruce’s side for protection against the voice.
“Dick! Ho-wha- why are you here?!”
“We were worried.” This time Y/N only flinched, and whirled around to see Damian in the Robin costume. He gaped at the pre-teen, “Oh my God, you all are just spawning out of nowhere.” Damian grabbed his hand, and Y/N couldn’t help but to hold the youngest’s hand. Muscle memory.
“Y/N, you’re face,” Dick whispered, gently tracing the swollen and discolored skin, “We thought you were sick.” Y/N smiled, leaning into the palm of Dick’s hand, “I was. I’m just getting over it, as for the bruises… Like I was telling Bruce, I just fell.”
Damian’s grip on Y/N’s hand tightened and the oldest sibling smiled down at him, “What’s wrong Dami?” The youngest gave a small glare through the lenses of the Robin mask, “I find your lies insulting and belittling, Y/N. The truth would be appreciated before things get more drastic.”
“...Excuse me?” Y/N tried to remove his hand from Damian’s grip, and panicked when Robin refused to let go.
“Y/N, please be honest. What happened?” Dick, in his Nightwing costume, rested his hands on Y/N's shoulders and tried to coax the truth out of the person he sees as his oldest brother. It only made the other tense, and tried to get out of Damian’s grip.
“Guys, you’re scaring me.”
“Y/N, what happened?” Bruce’s voice did nothing to ease the fear that Y/N was experiencing, and for the first time ever in the time he’s known the Wayne family, Y/N didn’t want to be around them. He struggled some more to get away from them, but with Robin’s grip on his hand, Nightwing’s hands on his shoulders, and Batman’s gaze keeping him in place, Y/N found it harder to move.
Batman sighed, and with a nod that Y/N would have missed if he wasn’t focused on the man, Nightwing’s hand moved closer to Y/N’s neck. The other’s eyes widened, his one free hand moving to stop Nightwing.
“Wa-”
“Good night, Y/N.” His vision went dark and the only thing he registered was a pair of arms catching him before his body hit the floor.
++++
Y/N woke with a start, in a very familiar room, with raspberry painted bookshelves and dark sheets. His arms shot up to his face, and bandages rested on his cheeks. Looking at his arm and seeing the sleeves of his pajama pants, Y/N closed his eyes in misery and knew that if he were to lift the sleeves, there would be bandages.
Sitting up, Y/N grunted and rested his forehead in his hand.
“Oh good, you’re awake.”
“Jay…” Y/N watched the other carefully, watching the taller and bigger man silently move across the room to sit next to him. His nose scrunched, “Your brothers and father have some explaining to do. Where are they?” Jason shrugged, “Out. Don’t worry about that, but Y/N, why did you hide this from us?” Y/N stared at Jason for a bit, processing the question and sighing irritably.
“Cause it's not a big deal. This was the only time and–”
“One time is still too many times!” Jason yelled, startling Y/N. Wide E/C eyes stared into Jason’s furious blue eyes, the slightest hint of green starting to slowly take over. Y/N gulped, “Jason, it’s fine. I am here now, right?” He reached out and grasped Jason’s larger hand, watching the other calm down with deep breaths. Those blue eyes of his seem to fall on every bandage across Y/N’s face, before looking back down at their clasped hands.
“Everyone was a mess, you know that right?” Y/N chuckled at him, chalking it up to Jason being overdramatic, “You guys are too funny. I know me going radio silent wasn’t appreciated, but you don’t need to guilt trip me further.”
“I’m not joking around, Y/N. Everyone was a mess.” There was something in Jason’s tone that had Y/N pausing. His E/C eyes landed on Jason and watched how those eyes continued to glow green. The larger man took a deep breath and seemed to calm whatever raging thoughts he was having, “But it's fine now, because you are here.” Y/N furrowed his brow, but smiled nevertheless, “Yeah.”
Silence overtook the room and Y/N is still unsure how to proceed. It wasn’t rare for the Batfamily to be a bit… dramatic. For fucks sake Bruce dresses as a giant furry and terrorizes criminals. However, there was something in Jason’s tone that had Y/N stilling. Contemplating his next words and wondering if they were the correct ones to say.
“You’re awake.” Y/N’s head snapped to the door and standing there was Damian. He gave a smile to the youngest Wayne, “Damian, you're not one to usually enter without knocking.” The youngest strolled over and eyes Jason’s and Y/N’s hands, “I heard you two talking and figured it would be okay if I entered.” Y/N pursed his lips, “Well, true but Dami you should still–”
“Father wants to talk to you, after dinner.” Green eyes met E/C and there it was again. A glint of something sinister lurking underneath the green. Y/N gulped and outstretched an arm. His palms up like he was approaching a dog, asking to pet it. Damian took the invitation and fell into Y/N’s embrace. Crawling onto Y/N’s bed and into the space underneath Y/N’s arm and against his chest, Damian nuzzled into the space with a content smile.
Y/N felt his heart rate spike, something alerting him that he is surrounding himself with something dangerous. Which is preposterous. Yeah, Damian was a little psychotic and so was Jason, but they wouldn’t harm Y/N. They wouldn’t hurt anyone that didn’t deserve it.
Yet, Y/N couldn’t shake the feeling of something being wrong.
“When is dinner, Dami?” The younger boy hummed, “At 5:30.” Y/N glanced at the clock reading 5:25. Sighing, gently nudged the two away, “C’mon we have five minutes. Alfred will be upset with us for being late.” Damian grumbled while Jason outwardly expressed his discontent. When Y/N fully stood up, he noted that his clothes were different.
“Who… who changed me?” Jason shrugged and Damian continued walking. Y/N looked back down at the sweatpants he was now wearing and the oversized shirt. None of which are his.
“I-I should change first–”
“C’mon Y/N, no one cares.”
“Indeed, Drake has shown up before looking horrid. You look wonderful, like always.” Y/N said nothing to address those comments, but the time clicking on the clock had Y/N forgoing dressing and instead grabbing his house slippers. Damian was quick to grab his hand and Jason walked behind like he was protecting Y/N from something.
The walk was silent, and there were some bruises on Y/N’s body that had him wincing sometimes. Nevertheless, when the sound of chatter began to echo through the halls, Y/N controlled his expressions and braced for the question and answers he wanted.
“Well, look who finally woke up,” Dick joked and Y/N rolled his eyes, “I don’t want to hear that from the people who broke into my house.” He said it as a jest, but some part of Y/N wanted to mean every word he said. The three culprits didn’t even pretend to look guilty.
Y/N gave Bruce a pointed look, he busied himself by pouring himself, Y/N, Dick, and Jason wine. Damian released Y/N’s hand to go sit at his respective seat, between Tim and Bruce, while Y/N took his between Bruce’s and Dick’s. Dick smiled at him, “Happy to have you at dinner. They have been quiet for the past few days.”
“If that is your way of saying I talk too much Dick, may I remind you who is the reason we had to enact a five minute quiet period during meals before.” The man laughed, unbothered by that little fact being thrown into the air.
Dinner continued with the usual chatter, arguments, snide remarks, and dirty looks. Y/N’s absence was barely brought up, and instead he got filled in about what he missed while he was radio-silent. No one questioned the bruises on his face, or the now open secret that Y/N had tried to keep quiet about.
“Y/N, please see me in my studies.” Bruce gently squeezed Y/N’s shoulder and Y/N followed, thanking Alfred as he did so and waving to all the brothers. The walk was tense, and something kept stirring in Y/N’s stomach that he was walking into something dangerous. Not a trap, because a trap means Y/N didn’t see it or feel it coming. However, he can feel this one. He can feel this one coming, something that would have his life changing, and yet he still kept walking forward. It’s the Waynes. His family.
They wouldn’t do anything he didn’t like.
Bruce’s study was as dark and aesthetic as Y/N remembers. A dark oak wood desk, bookshelves, the laptop and monitors, and papers. Y/N rarely set foot in here, mainly because there was never a need to, but he remembers being young and playing hide-n-seek in here with Dick.
Bruce turned and gently cupped Y/N’s bruised face, turning it slightly to take in each discolored patch of skin and open wounds. Y/N smiled, “Bruce, it’s fine. I’m fine. You and everyone else are just being overdramatic.”
“Is that what all of this is? Us overreacting?” Y/N gave a nervous chuckle at Bruce’s tone, one he’s heard when the man was Batman.
“I mean, considering you broke into my house, that seems excessive.” Bruce released Y/N’s face and walked behind his desk, and motioned to a stack of papers.
“Y/N, if entering your home is considered excessive, then I don’t know how you are going to handle this.”
“Break in, Bruce. It was a break in, and what are you talking about?” Y/N picked up the paper, and quickly scanned the document. Bruce watched the color drain from Y/N’s face and horror take over those bright E/C eyes. They flickered from the top of the page back to the bottom, and then to Bruce and back to the paper.
Y/N’s mouth opened and closed, trying to form words he was desperate to say.
Wayne Enterprise Acquires L/N Industries
Bought. Bruce bought L/N Industries. Bruce bought the company from Y/N’s father, because Y/N isn’t the owner, and there is no way in hell that Y/N would have ever signed off on that. His mother’s company, now just a part of the Wayne monopoly.
“Wha-what is- Why- Bruce! Bruce, what the hell is this?” Eyes filled with betrayal and anger as Y/N glared at Bruce. The man sighed, “It is as it says. L/N Industries in now under Wayne Enterprise-”
“But why?! You’ve never shown any interest in the company.” Bruce wasn’t interested in L/N Industries. Wayne Enterprise was not a monopoly, and they didn’t buy companies unless that company was already going bankrupt. Bruce was interested in Y/N’s health, and vengeance.
“Don’t take it personally, because it's not at you.” Y/N rolled his eyes, “It sure feels like it. Bruce, you know what this company means to me, you can’t just–”
“Well I did.” Bruce met Y/N’s gaze head on, “The company is not in your name, you do not reap the profits, this acquisition was not a jab at you.” Y/N knows who it's a jab at, and he understands why Bruce is angry. However, it does not excuse the fact that this was a jab at the L/N family.
Y/N clenched his jaw, “There’s no way he just signed it over like that.” Bruce handed him another piece of paper and sure enough, there was his father’s signature. Y/N stared at the inked lines, wondering just how had Bruce gotten that signature so quickly.
“Blackmail really makes people move faster than the Flash.”
“Wha… what blackmail?” Bruce raised an eyebrow and Y/N closed his eyes in misery, “Bruce, I get it. I do. He’s not a good father, but you didn’t have to buy the company. He’s literally going to ret-”
“You and I both know he would never retire. You would be working to the bone for him while he reaps all the profit.” Y/N rolls his eyes, and opens his mouth to say something but Bruce cuts him off, “Do NOT roll your eyes at me! Y/N this is serious.”
Momentarily taken aback by the tone of voice, Y/N stared at a fuming Bruce. He processed the reaction and felt the heat in his stomach return, “Excuse you! You literally bought my family’s company, kind of if not really kidnapped me, and broke into my home! I have every right to be upset, let alone roll my eyes at you.”
“That place wasn’t your home and you know it.”
“Doesn’t change anything! That's like saying a break-in at a hotel room doesn’t count because the person doesn’t live in the hotel room.” Y/N could feel his heart rate pick up, and the reality of it all began setting in.
“Holy shit. Fucking hell Bruce.”
“Language.”
“Do not ‘language’ me! Bruce, what the actual hell! All of this is way out of proportion for what happened.” Bruce slammed his hands on his desk, making some papers fly and the cup holding his pens fell. Blue eyes filled with rage glared at Y/N, “You can’t even say what happened! He hit you, Y/N. He beat you like a dog, and animal abusers still go to jail. He’s getting off with only losing the company.
“And I know that those bruises are the only ones we do see!”  Y/N glared at Bruce, fighting back tears and biting his lips. Bruce sighed, his shoulders deflating and a pained expression on his face. He walked around the desk and hugged Y/N, bringing his son close, “Y/N, I’m sorry. I am. You’ll still be running the company, and will have a final say in things. It's just… God, Y/N. Not hearing from you and then seeing you like that...” Bruce took a deep breath, trying to control his emotions, "It was terrifying, Y/N. How could I let you stay there when all of that was done to you?"
Y/N wrapped his arms around Bruce, ignoring the feeling of dread of doing so. He ignored how Bruce’s arms tightened around him, “Oh Y/N, please. Please stay here where you are safe.”
He didn’t want to admit that it sounded more of an order than a request. This was Bruce! His father in everything but blood and paper.
“Just… just please don’t do that again.”
“It won’t happen again. I promise.”

A Chance for Redemption
—A mysterious high school student appears out of the blue, bearing the face of the late Martha Wayne and puzzling even Gotham’s greatest detectives.
[chapter 1]
| Platonic!Yandere!Batfam x Reader
| Inspired by the work of @e-nonsense “GHOST OF A LONG GONE WOMAN”
The Gotham City skyline stretched across the horizon, its towering structures standing as silent guardians in the night. Inside the dimly lit study of Wayne Manor, Bruce Wayne sat alone amidst shadows that mirrored the complexities of his own mind.
A sudden beep from the Batcomputer broke the stillness. Bruce glanced at the screen, and his piercing gaze narrowed at the news report flashing across the monitor. The headline sent a ripple through him.
"Wayne Heiress Emerges: Striking Resemblance to Late Martha Wayne. Who is she?"
His heartbeat quickened as images of the young girl filled the screen. The uncanny resemblance to his late mother, Martha, struck him like a blow. The gentle curve of her smile, the warmth in her eyes — it was as if a much younger version of Martha had been reborn in a face he had never known.
For a moment, the air in the study thickened with silence. Bruce's jaw tightened, and a flood of memories surged, carrying him back to the night of his parents' tragedy. He saw Martha's face, radiant and full of life, before the darkness took her away. Now, that same face stared back at him from the screen.
"What is this?" Bruce muttered to himself, his fingers tapping impatiently on the polished surface of the mahogany desk.
With a decisive gesture, he rose from his seat and moved toward the Batcave. Alfred, his ever-watchful confidant, observed the turmoil in Bruce's eyes.
"Master Wayne, might I inquire about the cause of your distress?" Alfred's calm voice cut through the tension.
Bruce handed Alfred a tablet displaying the news report. As Alfred scanned the images, the lines on his forehead deepened in concern.
"An unexpected development, sir. Shall I investigate further?" Alfred offered, his loyalty unwavering.
"No, Alfred. I'll handle this myself,"
In the heart of the Batcave, surrounded by the symbols of his dual life, Bruce Wayne accessed the Batcomputer with purpose, initiating a search that would unravel the truth behind the possible Wayne heiress.
As information unfolded on the screen, Bruce's stoic demeanor flickered with a kaleidoscope of emotions. The mystery of his potential blood-related daughter, bearing the face of his beloved mother, demanded answers that eluded even the World's Greatest Detective.
In the shadows of Wayne Manor, a silent storm brewed. All veiled behind the haunting gaze of a daughter who bore the visage of a long-lost woman.

I don't know why Tumblr keeps forbidding me from editing requests! Why do you hate me, Tumblr?! 😭
Request: Hi! I love your one shots, and I was wondering if you could maybe do a clingy!yandere!batfamily (with all the family members) please and thank you!
Warning: Clingy behavior, forced cuddling, mentions of manipulation, they were cudding with her so much that batgirl reader was suffocating
The reader is going to be referred to as 'Batgirl'
~~~~~
In those nights of Gotham, the night where there aren't a lot of crimes. People would wonder what Batman and his small family are up to.
Watching a movie is what they're doing.
While cuddling with their little batgirl at the same time.
"Guys, can you stop talking? I can't hear," she tells them as she munch on her popcorn.
Currently, Batgirl was being held by her siblings at the point where she was going to be breathless. She was trying to focus on the screen, but she couldn't because of the weight on her siblings onto her.
"Shhhh... Just focus, my dear baby sister," Stephanie reassures her as she strokes her sister's head.
"Don't touch her, Brown!" Damian scolds her as he swats her hand away.
"Be careful with her head!" Tim said as he tries to make one of them hold the back of her head.
"Calm down, Tim. I got her," Duke reassures him as Cassandra is just hugging her sister's small body.
"All of you are touching her," Barbara corrects him as she munched onto her candy.
"We have to make sure that she's safe, Babs!" Dick said as he clutched onto Batgirl tightly in his arms.
"Stop pulling her so close to you, bastard," Jason said in a harsh tone that made her jolt.
Then, the two oldest children began to argue. That's when the others joined in as well, which made the movie audio unheard. Meanwhile, Batgirl is just munching on her popcorn as she tries to focus on the movie.
As she was watching, she was suddenly picked up out of her seat by someone. She looks up to see Bruce lifting her up.
"Hey, the movie is not done," she said as she pointed at the big screen as she watched Bruce pick up his bowl of popcorn.
"I couldn't hear. Well, you may now why," he said as he glanced at the rest of his children.
With that, he walks out of the theater, leaving the arguing batsiblings behind.
~~~~~
After a long argument, the others saw that their little sister is gone.
They were silent before gave each other glances before they quickly departed ways.
As they were looking around the mansion, they heard Jason make a signal that made everyone quickly run upstairs where they see him next to the smiling Alfred.
They were wondering what was happening before they saw the scene in front of them.
Bruce was holding onto Batgirl as she was underneath his covers, asleep while holding onto her stuffed animal, Batsie. The TV in his room was playing the same movie and the parts that they couldn't watch because of the other children's arguing in the theater.
They were just exchanging looks as they stared at their father and mentor cuddling with their sister. A pit of jealously rose inside them, but at the same time, they knew who won.
Bruce then gets up and turns off the TV before he walks out of his bedroom and gently closes the door.
"We have to go and patrol for tonight. Duke, Tim, Stephanie. You three will come with me. Alfred, prepare the guest room for me when I get back."
He orders with his Batman demeanor before he walks off. When he walked off, the others turned to each other.
"Looks like we know the winner of this whole thing, but not for long," Dick said as some of the others groaned out of defeat.
However, at the same time, they couldn't help but adore the sleeping Batgirl on the bed.

Okay but the idea that Dabi and Shoot did the whole growling thing in their human forms and not wolf forms is just comedy gold
Nah, they did in both forms. Dabi was most growly, all of his teeth was exposed. Shoto just gave a growl and snarled. Enji wanted to get closer but then EVERYONE started growling and snapping.
Natsou even bit the air to show how nobody wanted him there. Fuyumi told the guys to STFU and behave themselves as there was a baby in the room.
You wanted to go near him cause one, he was fluffy as all hell and two, people aren’t allowed to be sad in your presence. Enji was surprisingly tolerant of you inspecting his body and you just collapsing onto his fluffy body.
Homie didn’t even flinch, he just accepted it. Probably cause if he didn’t, Rei and Dabi would’ve taken him to meet their ancestors.
Hawks was fucking stunned at seeing Enji, the hulking beast of wolf known for his temper and terrifying rage, was letting you hug and pet him.
Shoto enjoyed the cuddles from Reader Chan, his tail wouldn’t stop wagging as Reader inspected his fluffy ears and kissed his scars better. Natsou lectured Hawks about how he needs to bathe you more.
Natsou: Your child is FILTHY! You need to properly groom her more.
Reader Chan, currently covered in wolf spit and is getting another round from Rei:

“Come on baby bird, you need to eat something.”
I look up at Dick with watery eyes. He was concerned, I could tell by the constant light touches and calming words that did nothing to help my current situation.
We where currently in the kitchen sitting at the Island trying to get me to eat something, I wanted to but my throat decided I didn’t.
I wanted to eat I really did, the hunger was so bad that I felt like my stomach was starting to eat itself but my throat hurt so much I couldn't swallow the food with out my throat closing and burning causing me to cough up anything I tried to eat.
It was pasta, ravioli to be exact, I love pasta but despite the soft texture of the food I still couldn’t eat it.
Dick looked at me with a sad face, He knew I was in pain just not how much but it was clear he hated it as much as I did, maybe even more.
I take deep breath avoiding his constant stare and try to eat another piece but as soon as I try and swallow I cough it up again, but this time blood came with it.
I kept coughing up the blood, it wasn't a lot but it was still very uncomfortable.
My throat felt hot, not burning but still very hot, the other pain meds Tim gave me hadn't worn off just yet but it was coming and I didn’t want to see how that felt. I was already in a lot of pain but without the pain meds I have no doubt it would be pure torture.
Dick was already siting beside me at the kitchen island, one hand resting on the small of my back, but then I started to cough up the blood he pulled me into a his lap.
He always liked me being close, all of them did but it was clear Dick was the most needy of my new ‘family.’
What freaked me out the most thought is how he effortlessly lifted me with one arm as if I weighed nothing into the air and onto his lap.
“Oh baby, there you go, I know it hurts but I can’t give you your meds if you don’t have any food in you.”
I was relived I didn’t need another needle but the oral medication needed to be taken with food witch led to our current predicament, he had tried all kinds of methods to helping me eat with none of them giving us the desired result. So here we where almost an hour later and not one bit of food had made it down my throat.
How inconvenient.
Some blood was trailing down my chin as I hunch over trying to breath evenly trying my best to calm down, my freaking out was not going to get anyone anywhere so I just needed to stay calm, lucky for me, if there was on thing I learned while living here it was how to pretend calm. I knew that they knew how I was always feeling but it gave me some comfort knowing I was able to hold some of it in and not freak out on the outside as much as I was on the inside. Of course this didn’t make the pain go away.
‘I hate this, I want the pain to stop!’
I hiccup and sob, covering my face with my hands my endeavor to remain calm failing from the pain. I knew how to be calm, just not when I was in so much pain.
‘Please. Someone make it stop.’
Dick moves his hand to my forehead pulling the back of my head to rest in the junction of his shoulder and neck His cool touch feeling nice on my pain fevered head.
I relax, the contact feels good and right now I needed some comforting contact and Dick was definitely the right person for the job, him being as touchy as he is. If I ever wanted some love, he was definitely the one to go to, unfortunately getting out of his grip is much harder then getting in it.
Dick take’s the sleeve of his sweater and wiped the blood off my face. Apparently seeing no problem with getting what I can only imagine being a very expensive sweater dirty with blood, Luckily it was a navy blue one so it wouldn’t show to much if at all.
I turn my head into his neck, It felt so good and so wrong but i’m not going to fight him on this not that I would win even if I did.
Dick would be nothing but pleased with my reaction if I wasn't in so much pain. But he knew that the only reason I was nuzzling into him was because I was hurt and needed some contact. But he still liked that I was giving into him as much as I was, his only problem was that I was doing it for the wrong reasons in his opinion.
Dick hold’s me in his arms for a while before I finally got any idea.
I waited till I was breathing normally and the pain dulled a little till I try and move.
Dick’s head was resting on the top of my head and his arm wrapped securely around my middle with both my hands resting on his sturdy forearms, I push down on his forearms knowing fully well that I couldn’t forcefully push him off, it was more like my way of asking. I squirmed off of his lap sluggishly, the meds Jason gave me still in effect trying to get him to let me go.
Dick was disappointing and tightened his arms around me but when I look up at him with teary eyes he looses his grip again, I squirm a little more and this time was was disappointed at the loss of contact but didn’t make a move to stop me.
I was so slow and tired with my movements I wouldn’t get far even if I was trying to get away, Dick knew this and had very little problem letting me wander around because I wouldn’t get far, aside from no being able to hold me, as long as he had his eyes on me and could get to me quickly, I could go where I want.
Dick was leaning on the island with on elbow propped on the counter with his hand holding the side of his head and his other resting on the island.
His sharp blue eyes following me with a light smile on his face. He didn’t like not holding me but he loved to watch me when holding wasn’t an option. Once he was visiting me when I was locked in the room in the Batcave and he would like to just watch me and I asked him why, He said I looked like a beautiful bird floating around with every movement I make, He said it was graceful and he liked to watch me, he even said he couldn't help but stare at me when he first met me. I figured that's where the nickname baby bird came from.
I walk around the island and start to look for my desired object all around the kitchen. I had been here for several months and yet I still had no idea how to get around the huge kitchen or the manor for that matter.
Dick looks at me very confused at what I was looking for but he never stopped smiling softly at me.
“Baby bird, what are you looking for?”
‘I cant talk, how on earth do I tell him?’
I turn to him after closing a cupboard beside the fridge not finding what I want.
I move my hand and point one finger up spinning it really fast.
Dick tilts his head even more on his hand clearly not understanding my motion, He chuckles at me closing his eyes and shaking his head a little but doesn’t say anything letting me continue my search his eyes following me with a look of what could only be called deep love and obsession.
I ignore him and keep looking until I reach a bottom cupboard in the corner.
After practically destroying the kitchen I finally open the last cupboard and find a bunch of appliances, a toaster, a air fryer and what I was looking for.
 A blender.
I smile and grab it holding it up to Dick.
His eyes widen at my happy look and he laughs at me lightly finally getting what I was trying to do.
I go and plug in the blender and grab my plain of food of the island, I end up laying flat on the counter my toes barely on the ground.
Dick laughs at me again.
“Baby bird”
He doesn’t say anything else but by his light tone I could tell he thought I was being the cutest thing in the world, and in their eyes I was.
I scrape the food off the black plate with a fork into the blender the smile never leaving my face at my minor success.
I press power after placing the lid on the blender and the machine does its thing, I place my fork and plate in the sink washing them quickly and placing them in the other sink to let them dry.
I grab a spoon and place it beside the blender, the food looks like mush now but I don’t want to take any chances so I let it run while I go to the cupboard by the pantry and to get a bowl.
Dick was following me with soft eyes enjoying watching me work out my little plan to eat the food I so desperately needed.
The bowls where at the very top of the cupboard and I couldn’t quite reach it, I was about to jump up on the counter like any normal human being until I feel two strong, hard hands on either side of my waist keeping me firmly in place and my feet planted firmly on the ground. It took me by surprise and scared the shit out of me, if I could yelp I would have. I look up and see a very displeased Dick standing behind me, his smile know completely gone and replaced with a hard frown, but what scared my most was his eye’s. It looked like a fire had been lit in them, they burned with rage not necessarily at me but at what I was about to do.
“Baby bird, if you need something you tell us, you don’t try gymnastics to get what you need, ‘kay?
I frown up at him but he glares right back at me with a an even hotter fire in his eyes.
I lower my head and nod giving in, not wanting to be on his bad side or piss him off worried about what he would do to me.
I was jumping on the counter, not doing flips off the chandelier like him but with a look like that on his face, I wouldn’t dare go against him. It was another cold hard reminder of who really was in charge.
Dick lifts me with one arm holding me hard against his chest and grabs the bowl with the other but keeps holding it out of my reach when I try to grab it, I wasn't in a hurry it was more a hesitant reach.
I could feel his forearm flex under my butt as he holds me in place so I cant lean forward, the added weight seemed like nothing to him, in fact he was always in a better mood when he held me so I didn’t fight him not wanting to piss me off. I held my hands to my chest hunching over lightly knowing force was defiantly not the way to get what I needed
“I would say you need to use your words but you can’t so instead look me in my eyes and nod.”
I whimper a little at his harsh tone.
I look up at him, his face was soft looking down at me waiting patiently despite his tone. He smiles even wider at me when I nod giving him the eye contact he wanted, agreeing not to do anything like that again.
He smiles at me but doesn't hand me the bowl, He sets me down in my chair and moves to the blender, I didn’t even notice he had already turned it off before he grabbed me.
He then pour’s the ravioli mush into the bowl and places it in front of me again.
I pick up my spoon and start to eat.
I wince worried about what i’ll do if my plan doesn’t work but it goes down without a problem and almost no pain.
Dick was back in his spot beside me with his hand once again resting on the small of my back.
“How does it feel baby bird?”
I look at his smiling and nod.
I was so relived I could finally eat something, the stomach pain started to fad the more I ate the food.
Dick chuckled at me as I eat my food, I was making a bit of a mess, I was eating so fast I didn’t even notice, too consumed with my hunger.
He gets up and grabs a cloth and runs it under warm water a smile still firmly plastered.
He walks over to me and wipes my mouth take the spoon away from me.
I wine little, half the food was still there I didn’t want to stop, the ache in my stomach lessened but still there.
He laughs again. He goes and gets a cup of water and two pills set aside earlier for after I was done eating.
He hands me the cup but kept the pills.
I look at him confused.
I try to reach out for the pills but he pulls his hand out of my reach.
He smirks at me.
“Open your mouth”
My eyes widen and I shake my head.
‘No, no way in hell, I can put pills in my own mouth thank you very much.’
I look back up at him and flinch back.
Dick had a look on his face that could kill.
“Baby bird, you hurt yourself, the least you can do is do everything we tell you to, understand?”
His face was terrifying and I shrink into myself. It was the face I imagined him using to interrogate a criminal, I knew he was serious and I wanted to avoid punishment as much as possible so I open wide turning my eyes away in shame refusing to make eye contact.
“Stick out your tongue.”
I blush hard and close my mouth looking up at him with pleading eyes.
‘God please no, haven't I been through enough, this is cruel.’
I look away feeling humiliated, I didn’t want to, but I felt so helpless.
“Come on baby bird, don’t make me force you.”
I look back at him when he said ‘force.’
And shake my head scared of what using force would entail and wondering if he would make my humiliate myself even more if I didn’t obey here and now.
Dick was nice, but if you push him the wrong way he wasn’t Dick Grayson, he was Nightwing and you where that bad guy.
He tilted his head in return, clearly waiting for me to open wide or accept punishment. He wasn't glaring anymore but his face was still hard.
I open wide and stick my tongue out a little lowering my eyes, to humiliated to look at him.
Dick places one pill on my tongue and takes the cup from my hand and has me drink some water.
I look down and to the side when he’s done but he gently grabs my chin squishing my cheeks a little to force me to look at him after he placed the cup down beside us.
I look up confused, he had given me the pill and I did what he wanted despite my hesitance, he clearly understood and lessened his grip a little but didn’t let me go knowing I wasn’t trying to be defiant clearly confused at his actions.
He holds up his free hand, in between his thumb and pointer finger was the second pill that I had completely forgot about.
I whine a little but open my mouth again slowly not needing him to tell me to, He smiled lightly and put the pill in my mouth and gives me some more water, running his thumb lightly across my bottom lip as I swallow another gulp of water.
His hand let go of my face and picks my up again once I was done.
I wrap my legs around his torso to keep me in place at he pulls me close, my chest flush with his. One of his arms was under my butt and the other was holding my cheek.
He was holding me as close to his chest as he possible could cooing about how good of a little girl I was for him.
A shiver runs down my spine and chills my whole body, I didn’t realize how cold the manor was til now, I snuggle into Dicks sweater looking for some warmth.
Dick smirked at me.
“There, that wasn't so hard was it?”
Again he never wanted a response, I rub my noise into his neck, he was radiating heat and I wanted as much of it as I could get.
Being half naked was not good for this kind of weather but I have a feeling this was their plan all along, being dressing in only a pair of underwear and a thin tea shirt wasn't good close for anyone especially with 10 inches of snow on the ground outside even if the shirt went all the way down to the middle of my thighs.
I shiver again and warp my arms even tighter around his neck shaking hard.
‘How the hell didn’t I notice how damn cold it was.’
Dick kisses my cheek and nose.
“Damn baby bird, your freezing.”
I nod and place my head back onto his neck. He chuckles at me and places his hand on the back of my head holding me there.
“How about a movie, we’ll get lots of warm blankets and snuggle for a bit.”
I nod, liking how getting warm sounded.
Dick walks to the movie theater, he takes his sweet time clearly liking me holding on to him so desperately.
When we finally get to the screening room Dick goes to the front and sits down.
There was already about three large fuzzy blankets waiting for us.
Dick warps me tightly in one and places another over his shoulders.
He warped me so tight I could barley move, he had me so I was siting sideways on his lap with my head resting firmly on his chest.
He was clearly happy about our current position and started flipping through a few movies eventually deciding on an action movie.
I lean into Dick more and more, my body completely pressed to him. The blanket was warm but it was so cold it felt like the ac was on full blast.
Dick was watching the movie as much as I was, he just stared down at me with the most loving look he could muster. His soft eyes and smile would make any girls knees weak and I couldn’t help but feel safe. It was a complete change from the look he had given me a little while ago in the kitchen
After a while the movie was almost done but I could feel Dick start to shift a little.
I had my eyes closed enjoying the warmth of him but I open them to see his smile was gone, he looked kind of worried.
“It’s time baby bird.”
He didn’t need to clarify, I knew what he was talking about.
He starts to unwrap me from my little cocoon and reaches for my arm.
I whimper a little looking away when he take my forearm in a light grip.
“I know, I don’t like it either, but it wont hurt I swear.”
From his back pocket he fish out a alcohol pad and a syringe.
He cleans my arm and gives my temple a long loving kiss.
He kisses me for a minute on my cheek and my temple, then when I was finally fully relaxed I felt a very light prick in my arm, it was gone as quick as it started.
“There, all done, how you feeling baby bird?”
I raise my head a little and shake it side to side.
“Does it hurt anywhere?”
I shake my head again.
It took him a minute but then he seemed to understand.
“Oh, it’s probably not the best sensation in the world”
I nod, it didn't hurt or make you feel sick but it did make me uncomfortable being so vulnerable, it the first few minute’s the drug makes it nearly impossible to move and that wasn't a nice feeling for anyone.
Dick turns me on his lap and keeps watching the last few minutes of the movie lightly rubbing my arm, the meds didn’t make my arm sore after but it was comforting knowing he cared enough to make sure.
“Feeling better?”
I could move a little better know but it still felt heavy, but I nod anyway.
After a while he stopped the gentle rubbing and seemed to stiffen again, this time much harder but instead of shifting around he was as still as a statue.
I look up at him to see what was wrong but he’s not looking at me. He’s looking at the door.
Standing in the door was Damian, A very displeased looking Damian at that.
Clad in a long sleeve skin tight turtle neck and some black pants.
but unlike Dick he wasn't looking at him, he was looking at me.
He raised his hand and made a come hither motion with his finger.
His green eyes where sharp as always but otherwise he was looking calm. But I knew better then to trust his outward expression, he was probably seething with rage.
I get up to move off of Dick’s lap but he tighten his hold around my waist and held me down.
Damian was not pleased at his older brothers reaction and started to walk forward practically growling at Dick.
I squirm off of Dicks lap so that they wont fight mostly because I didn’t want to be caught in the cross hairs.
I walk as fast as I can to Damian when I finally get out of his grasp. Damian had his arms out waiting for me.
I move into his arms and he picks me up. I would have ran but with the drugs it was very much impossible.
“Hello, beloved.”
I rest my head on his shoulder closing my eyes, his voice was full of love. But then he turned to Dick and his voice was full of nothing but venom.
“Try and keep her longer ever again and she won’t be able to save you next time.”
I look at the time, all the boys usually had about seven or so hours with me, but it seems Dick kept me a little longer just changing the movie with out my notice, it made sense, I had my eyes closed the whole time more focused on absorbing as much warmth as I could and not the movie.
Dick glares at his younger brother but doesn't move to fight him or make a snide comment opting to just clench his fist at his side.
Damian walks out of the theater leaving a fairly pissed off Dick Grayson behind us. I wave to him and he smiles at me waving back his other hand still firmly clutched at his side.
_________________________
Damian takes me to his room, a fire was already lit and the room felt very warm and welcoming.
He placed me on the bed and went to the bathroom.
I  look at the clock by the side of the fire and fall back onto the bed, when I was looking at the clocks in the theater and kitchen it was to tell how much time passed not to see what time it was. It was late, very late, but I wasn't tired, my mind was running wondering what the rest of my life would look like.
Damian came back with some kind of cream rubbing alcohol, cotton pads and two long gauze bandage’s.
I sit up when he kneels down in front of me taking my ankle in his hands, The bruise was just a light yellow now mostly blending into my skin.
He examines my ankle for a bit and presses down on the bruise very lightly.
“Does this hurt, beloved?”
I shake my head, all I could fee was his warm hands.
He presses down a little harder, in a darker place.
“This?”
I shake my head again.
He smiled at me, happy I wasn't in pain, or at least my ankle wasn't. Regardless he took my ankle in hand and rubbed the cream all over it slowly and gently, massaging lightly to help the blood flow.
“With this the bruise should be completely gone by morning.”
He then moves to my neck standing after he wraps it. But he was still bending over lightly to be relatively at eyes height. My knees where pressed together and trapped between his legs, he was so much taller then me even when I was also standing but with me sitting he towered over me like a giant even if he was bending down.
He leaned down and gently tracing his rough fingers over my bandaged neck.
“I know it is sore right know, will you let me take care of you?”
I hesitate, Jason was mad enough about my self harm injuries even if the self harm was unintentional but Damian always had a feel about him that told me he could wrestle a bear and still walk away unharmed.
I didn’t want that kind of ferocity directed at me.
When He first drugged me and brought me to my new ‘home’ was proof enough he could easily overpower me. I could fight with all my might and he would probably laugh at me not breaking a sweat or even letting out a huff of air keeping me right where he wanted me.
At my hesitation he decided to ease my clear inner turmoil.
“I swear, beloved, I would never, and I mean ever, do anything to hurt you, all I want to do is help you, it pains me to see you hurt, so let me take the pain away.”
His words where nothing but honest.
I look up eyes wide at his words, I nod looking down again. I had no Idea what I would say even if I could.
Damian run’s his fingers over the bandage and started to unravel it from my neck, he tsk’s disappointingly at the state of my neck.
“How on earth could you manage to do this much damage in under a minute?”
I wince when he runs over a particularly raw spot. His words where harsh but his tone was nothing but concerned.
He tsk’s again when he see’s the really bad spots on either side of my neck where I did most of the scratching.
“Oh beloved.”
He coo’s at me and kisses my temple and hugs me for a moment. He holds me close to his chest, his heart beat was steady and calm, suddenly all the thoughts running in my mind were gone as I melt to his heartbeat.
After a while he lets go and grabs the cotton pads and rubbing alcohol and a fresh gauze bandage he left on the nightstand.
I wince thinking about what was coming next.
Damian comes close and looks at me with a sorry look in his eyes.
He lays me down onto the bed after siding down beside me placing my head in his lap ruining his fingers through my hair giving my scalp a massage.
“I need you to be relaxed beloved, just take some deep breaths for me and it will be over before you know it.”
I close my eyes and take some deep breaths.
Damian, despite being a bulky and terrifying man to anyone who didn’t know him was very gentle with me. But in all honesty he would terrify anyone even if they where his closest friend.
I whimper and try to yell out but my throat wouldn't let me when he started to lightly dab the alcohol soaked pads on my raw neck. The cuts where still fresh and burned with a vengeance.
I tremble in his arms and try to get up  and run away from him but his right arm was over my torso holding me down,  not that he really had to try very hard with me being all drugged up. I grip his shirt as tight as I can to try and ease the pain. To him it probably felt like a light grip of a newborn baby but to me, I was holding on with all my strength.
“I know, I know just relax, your doing so well, just bare with me a little longer.”
He cleaned my neck for about three minutes until he finally stop’s, satisfied with his work.
There where about five cotton pads beside us covered in my blood resting on the nightstand.
I whimper as he wraps my neck with some gauze.
“There we go, all done.”
He kisses my head again and then moves down to my neck and kisses me few times. I blush so hard I must have look redder then a tomato.
Damian smirks and chuckles at me and my embarrassment.
“My baby sister has no need to be embarrassed, I was raised that kissing is a way to show affection in many ways, to both family and lovers.”
I nod, my blush diapering, I knew Damian was different from his other brother, he was certainly a gentlemen and I knew he would never do anything like that to me. I knew none of them would, they loved me like a sister and I knew there was nothing wrong with kissing a sibling or parent. In fact, I couldn't help but start to consider them family. I never felt safer them when I was with them but at the same time I’ve never felt more scared at the same time.
Damian moved me under the sheets after kissing away my stray tears on my cheeks that I hadn’t wiped away.
He kisses my eyelids and I didn’t open them again once he pulled away, I was ready for some sleep.
Damian got up and through away the blood soaked cotton and sat down by the fire with a book that was left on the coffee table in front of him.
I lay there and listen, the crackle of the fire and the light turning of a page was so calming. But I couldn't fall asleep. I kept thinking about what was going to happen in the future, part of me was desperate to know the other part of me was content in the mystery to scared of my possible answer.
Damian kept flipping through his book on the couch by the fire, I tossed and turned but I did it slowly and tried not to do it to often so that he wouldn't get worried or suspicious.
I finally groan and get up. But in all honesty it wasn't really a groan, my voice still seemed content on not working so it was more of a annoyed quite moan.
Damian looks at me, I get up and walk towards him. He closes his book and sets it on the glass coffee table in front of him.
I sit beside him and lean on his shoulder.
“Cant sleep?”
I nod and point to my head.
“To much on your mind?”
I nod again, it was odd how the boys always seemed to know what I was thinking. But I guess that what made them so good at what they do.
“Well, If you cant sleep Father did want to talk with you, he would still be awake in his study, why don’t we go see what he wants?”
I look up at him kind of nervous.
Damian just chuckles at my expression.
“Beloved, you have no reason to worry about what he wants, You have been nothing but well behaved, I’m sure he just wants to have a little chat with is favorite daughter.”
I nod slowly agreeing.
Bruce was definitely the scariest of all the members of my new family, but I also knew he was the first to love and care for me, so it was very unlikely he would ever hurt me.
At least intentionally.
Damian stands up and holds out his hand to me. I take it but instead of lifting me up to carry me he just keeps our hands interlocked and walks away.
I was walking a little behind him so he couldn’t see my face. I was smiling.
‘Finally, I can walk by myself, at this point I thought my legs would atrophy.’
Damian would glance back at me every-so-often to make sure I was ok despite holding my hand knowing very well I was right behind him.
The walk was quiet for the most part aside for the sound of our footsteps. Damian was as quiet as a mouse regardless of his tall, strong stature. It was kind of chilling.
When we got to Bruce’s office door Damian rapped on the door two time but didn’t wait for a response and walked right in with me in tow. I was definitely hesitant, I didn’t want to see anything I wasn't supposed to, If I had to live here I would rather be oblivious of the possible violent things they could be doing behind closed doors.
After Damian opened the door just and crack before he looked back at me seeing my face.
He bent down to my ear and whispered.
“What are you so scared of, beloved?”
I was staring with a terrified expression on my face, scared of what I might see. But I was knocked out of my trance when Damian asked me what I was scared of. I didn’t realize my emotion where on display for him to see.
I look at his face, He was worried.
I shrug lightly, in the dark of the room he wouldn’t have been able to see if it wasn’t for the hand he place on my shoulder giving it comforting squeeze.
He wasn’t happy with my answer so he got down on one knee, His head was now in line with mine.
‘How the fuck is he so damn tall?’
“What are you scared of?”
I look at his green eyes. They were dead serious, I imagine he already knew the answer he just wanted me to admit my fears to him.
I point to the slightly opened door.
Damian chuckles at me.
“Silly girl, you never have to be scared of us, especially him, you're too precious to us.”
I nod, but I was still tense, Damian stood letting out a sigh.
He grabbed my hand again and led me into the room.
Bruce was invested in some kind of paperwork. I doubt he even heard the knocking or us coming in.
Damian as me down on the couches to the side of the room where another fire was burning.
Damian didn’t it down instead he went over to bruce and slammed his hand down on the old dark wood carved desk making me yelp pretty loudly.
Bruce’s head shot to me worry on his face hearing the yelp and immediately recognised the sound of his daughter in distress. But once he gave me a one over and realized the sudden sound of Damian’s hand was what scared me he looked at Damian clearly pissed that he scared me.
“You wanted to talk to her.”
“She should be asleep, Damian.”
“She couldn't sleep, to worried about her future.”
I blush and turn my head to look at the fire embarrassed at me revealed secret. Bruce on the other had had no problem with the brazed explanation.
Bruce stood up, both of them where the same height and aside from the difference in eye color, Damian was the spitting image of Bruce.
Bruce nodded at Damian and started to walk over to me. Damian, to my dismay, left.
I was still staring at the fire to embarrassed to look up at him when he came over, he sat in front of me blocking my view of the fire with his large, intimidating frame.
I keep my head down staring at my hands that were nervously picking at the skin by my nails. It was a bad habit I got when I first came here, But I only ever did it with Bruce, probably because he made me the most nervous. When I was in the room Bruce always held my hands when we talked because I had picked at the skin so bad they started to bleed, so to prevent the self harm he always held my hands.
Bruce looked down at my hands and saw what I was doing and sighed deeply.
I took both of my hand in on of his and used his other to tilt up my head to look him in the eyes.
I moved closer to me and kissed my forehead.
“You have no need to be so nervous, little one. I merely wished to talk to you about an event coming up.”
I look at him confused.
He smiled happy I was looking up at him by myself and dropped his hand to hold both of mine in each of his hands rubbing my knuckles lovingly.
“The winter gala is coming up in about a week, all the boys and myself are going, aside from jason of course, and we all think it would be a wonderful time to introduce you to Gotham as the newest member of our family.”
I was shocked, it had been months since I was here but everything seemed to be moving so fast.
“We are all anxious to show you off, and bring you into Gotham high society as my beautiful new daughter.”
I started to shake viciously.
I knew Gotham high society was full of two faced bastards and crime lords on reason why I was happy with how I lived before I met the Wayne family. But they also scared me.
‘Going to a Gala like that is essentially being thrown into the lion's den.’
Bruce reacted to my fear quickly, bringing me into a warm secure hug and pulling me into his lap in the process.
“Shhh, little one, you have no need to be sacred, we will be with you the entire time, nothing will hurt you my dear, we would never let that happen.”
I start to cry, I didn't’ know why but the tears just kept flowing. I cling to Bruce, the comfort of being able to hold onto something too strong, even if it was him.
He shushed me a few more time’s as I cry myself to sleep in his warm arms shaking as if I was naked in the snow outside.
I didn’t realise it at the time but at his words it became painfully clear, I will never be leaving their side for the rest of my days.
At least.
Not alive.

Tumblr media
first off thanks so much!! this is my first published fic so i'm really glad you like it :3
second off i imagine that the batfam found him by one of them just randomly choosing to get a snack from the store he works at one night and his snarky comments endeared him to them, then it was a domino effect with the rest of the family. i personal i think jay found him first and the rest followed.

Title: Late at night the wolves howl
[ - Lake (gn!reader) + Lily (platonic yandere) + Kakashi + Apple Juice (Little red riding hood au) - ] - Anon's ask
Summary: The hunter always accompanied you whenever you had to go to the forest. You liked that hunter yet when you looked at the sunset you could not continue to wait for him any longer and instead choose to head deep into the woods by yourself to your grandmother's home.
Additional Warning/tags: Child!reader, general yandere themes, this is purely platonic/familiar nothing romantic, found family (kind of?), angst, near-death experience (wolf was hungry-), minor deaths, kidnapping, little violent (kind of???), blood
[ - Fairytale Picnic Event - closed - ]
Tumblr media
He should have never left you to walk the forest alone, he should have never made you wait for this long that you would get to the forest alone as the sun starts to set.
The little light that the lamp gave him was enough to see what was in front of him yet not far enough to reach you. The sound of the leaves and grass crunching, the clanging mental of the lamp, and the huffs of his breath he could hear but he was only searching for one voice.
Nothing.
Kakashi cursed himself for being so foolish as he continued to run, deeper and deeper into the forest. The hoots of the owls, wings flapped startled by him and the light wasn't as loud as the sounds of beating his heart thunder in his ears.
Yet the howls of the wolves were louder that his blood froze to ice.
“Hello, mister! What are you doing here at the edge of the woods?”
Kakashi looked at you surprise that a small child was talking to him “Well I am a hunter young one.”
Faster he needs to be faster to reach you. Kakashi wished he didn't stay by the graveyard for so long he wished he didn't let his mind wander so much in the past. He wished he didn't make you wait so much that when you saw the sunset you choose to set out to the forest alone, your worry over your grandmother's food and medicine was far greater than the warnings that you should not travel the forest at night made you walk into this death trap.
“Ah! So mister is the one who is gonna help me get to grandma home!” You grinned at his confused face, “Didn't my mom ask you to take me with you to the forest?”
Kakashi soon remembered a woman who did in fact ask him to help her child out, so he took you to the forest to your grandmother's home as he watched over his shoulder for wolves hidden in the forest. That was the start of you two’s little friendship it seems. Something that he always thought would never happen ever again.
He didn't care what happens to your grandmother, mauled by werewolves or wolves he didn't care much for so long as you were okay. Even if he would have to kill and kill, get his hands bloody so bloody that he had created a lake of blood with his bare hands, it didn't matter to him.
So long as you were safe.
Yet to even do that he must reach you...
Kakashi already lost too much, too much to count when his father choose to leave him alone in this world at a young age. Kakashi always had this hollowness in his heart cause of it.
“I found Kakashi!” You called out to his back, Kakashi could only sigh as he looked back at you crinkling his eye which was the only indicator that he was smiling. “...It seems you did.”
It was difficult to get close to him… yet children were always known to be stubborn. When two children choose to come into his life and become his friends. Rin and Obito he could still remember their names, the carving of their names on the stone still there on his fingertips.
He was happy when he found his two friends so long ago. The people who lived in the village for once saw a genuine smile on Kakashi’s face, instead of a stoic and mature face they have become pitifully familiar with.
He thought that it would be just the three of them him, Obito and Rin. He thought that he could finally be happy, satisfied, as he slowly fill his hollow heart with happy memories. Till that certain night when they have become too curious about the forest and its inhabitants.
They suddenly disappeared from his life mauled and eaten by the wolves that lived here.
All those memories now became too painful to bear sometimes.
“Kakashi!! I was searching for you everywhere!!” You called out to him, pouting at the man. Kakashi slowly opened one eye to look at you. “I told you that we would to grandma's home today, you promised me that you would go with me!”
Kakashi thought how much your little red hood contrasted with the blue sky, your flushed face that told him you climb all the way up the mountain to find him even when the hill was a bit stiff and hard to climb for a small child like you.
“Sorry sorry, I seem to have fallen asleep,” Kakashi told you, he wondered why you didn't choose to go to your grandmother's home alone. When the forest is usually safe in the daylight, you would still always search for him in the end taking his hand as you drag him with you. It wasn't like he was busy or anything, but sometimes he felt that you were trying to look after him.
“Shall we go then?” He stood up only to hear a poof sound when he looked down to see you sitting on the ground tired as you kept the basket meant for your grandmother on your lap.
He didn't know why he did it really when he felt like his arm cramped at the end of the day but he carried you to your grandmother's home with his other hand holding the basket. (Going back he let you stay on his shoulders, as you laughed at the feeling of how tall you were, and thankfully the basket was empty this time)
Nobody really blamed it on him, no one criticized him more than himself as he looked at the graves of his dear friends.
He didn't think he would ever have this strong link with someone again. He thought that he would stay alone in his cottage with his dogs too scared to ever get close to someone in fear that he would lose everything again.
“Here you go Kakashi! This is a present for you!” Kakashi glanced up at you smiling as you held the basket towards him. Kakashi looked at the basket in surprise normally the basket was used to carry your grandmother's food... he never really expected the basket to be pointed at him.
“Why won't you take it?” A childish voice asked as he looked at you, you started to look a little down from his lack of reaction. “Do you perhaps dislike apple pie? I thought that you might like it so I made one for you…”
Kakashi was quick to take the basket from you taking your hand you and him headed to a chair and table to eat. Kakashi could only smile at the poorly made design on top, crumpled and wonky, some sides more burnt than the others he was sure that you made them yourself.
“Ah! Kakashi is smiling!”
Yet here he was running, desperately hoping that you were alive. Hearing the wolves howl again he started to run even faster with the shotgun in his hand.
The scream of terror made him pause, stopped his movements as he recognized that childish voice and he started sprinting again toward it.
“Kakashi has many puppies! They are all so cute!” Kakashi chuckled as he watched one of the pups lick your face.
“I wanna have this many puppies too!” The rough gruff that Pakkun made in an offense that you called him a puppy made Kakashi struggle not to laugh. “Mah, Some of them are actually older than you.”
Everything was blurred as he sprinted deeper into the forest again, the pain in his lungs from running was like torture and his running was so agonizingly slow.
The moment he saw your red cape is barely seen with the help of his lamp, the moment he saw the wolf that was looking at you stalking closer and closer. He remembered aiming, aiming at the wolf the loud sound the shotgun made ring in his ear and your screams.
Kakashi wondered when you are gonna appear, it should be today that you would be heading to your grandmother's home if Kakashi remembered correctly. Looking left and right he saw no little child that always bothered him to go with them to their grandma’s home.
He doesn't remember anything really, didn't want to acknowledge that he almost became a deflated balloon till something tugged his pants a little and he saw a little red hood that knew belonged to a little somebody. “Kakashi! You are early today!”
“... Yes I am.”
You are fine. You are fine. You are fine.
“*Hic* Kaka*hic* -kashi.. I was so scared!” He could hear your voice as he pulled you into a hug the gun and lamp were left on the grassy floor as he tightly hugged you afraid to let you go.
“Shh, shhh… you are okay now. I am here the big bad wolf can't get you anymore.” Kakashi touched your face as tears rolled down your face, touching the blood of the wolves that were on your cheeks making it turn a slight pink.
Kakashi didn't care for it as he pulled you into a hug, you could hear his heart still thundering on his chest as you continued to cry finding no comfort in his arms. Too tight, yet at the same time oddly familiar.
You were tired from running your basket that you usually carry gone from your hands after you saw the wolves and started to run as the night approached, tiredness finally caught up to you as you slowly closed your eyes the cries slowly mellowing down till you fell asleep.
Yet unlike you, Kakashi could not rest his heart when you cried in his arms. What ifs, questions continued to circle as he thought about where you would be if he thought you were safe and went home... if he didn't check... what if he was one minute late? What if he could not find you? What if you were already bitten, bleeding on the floor?
Yet all those troubling thoughts quickly subsided when he saw you sleeping peacefully in his arms.
You are safe…
You are safe…
Kakashi's hold over you lighten a little as he looked at your small frame. The what-ifs and questions slowly leave his mind as he finally realizes that you were actually in his arms.. actually safe.
Softly he tried to remove the blood on your face, yet instead of removing it, it left a smudge on your face. Later he thought as he stood up you still in his arms.
He glanced at the wolf beside you and him, it was lifeless on the floor on top of a blood pool of its own blood. The lamp that was light was dull, the fire in it dimming. Covering you with your red hood but also his own jacket to keep you warm he took you away from the corpse taking you back to the village.
Should he bring you to his home, he could keep you safe better than your parents who choose to let you go off on your own into the forest.
Would that be better…?
Yes… Yes it would be better…
He could not lose you too… Kakashi's mind soon went back to his imagination where you are being mauled by the wolves as you cried in pain, trying to run away and alone.
But this time it was a little tilted,... too tilted as he thought of keeping you. Keeping you safe, away from those morbid thoughts. He could take you away… Yeah… You would be happy… you would be safe...
Kakashi could not lose you…
You would safe under his watch, he could keep you safe away from dangers unknown. You would be happy with the many puppies at home. You could watch over them and play with them while they watch over you and keep you safe.
The dull house would be a little bit brighter.
"You are awake…?"
"... Kakashi…? When can I go home? I am okay now!! I miss mom, she must be looking for me! Grandmother too, i-it has been a while since I went to visit…"
"..."
"Kakashi?"

Hi, may i request a yandere!batfam where the reader gets a crush on someone at their school?
By the way, your blog is so pretty.
Thank you!
Platonic Yandere!Batfam
Summary: How do they deal with their darling having a crush?
CW: no warnings
(not edited or proofread)
Bruce:
-Very tempted to separate you from your crush
-You probably have to change schools or he'll have Alfred homeschool you
-Tries to be subtle and gentle, but the others are a bad influence on him
Dick:
-He completely invades your privacy in the name of your safety and finds out that way
-If you write in a diary, he reads every entry
-Will be very invasive and pushy when it comes to asking questions about your crush
-He either confronts you alone or gets Alfred or Bruce to tag along
-If you don't answer his questions immediately, he gets obnoxiously whiny
-After a while his personality completely switches and he gets serious, threatening you with punishments
-It's scary how quickly he changes
-No matter how long it takes, you will cave and tell him everything you know
Jason:
-When Jason finds out about your crush, he won't talk to you about it, he won't let you know that he is aware of it
-He will, however, talk to your crush
-Red Hood goes and has a friendly chat with your crush, who happens to move far away and stop contacting you very soon after
-Although he believes that there is nothing redeeming about your crush, he won't ever blame you for falling in love
-He understands that it's normal, besides he is very sure that you're just lonely and desperate for affection
-No worries, your family is here for you
-If he notices your mood declining, he will spend more time with you
-He watches films, plays games and even goes out for ice cream with you, anything to distract you from your former crush
Tim:
-He found out first, because he keeps his eye on you through cameras all the time
-Does a complete background check to make sure they don't pose a threat to you
-No matter what he finds out about them, he will want to cut you off from them as soon as possible
-First, he will talk to Bruce about you breaking off school
-If that fails, he will tell the whole family about your crush, making sure to exaggerate all the negative things about them
-Basically, your whole family now hates your crush and will guilt trip you into disliking them too
-"But they kicked a kitten", Damian's pleading eyes look up at you.
-"They commit tax evasion", Tim frowns.
-"They cheated on their last partner", Jason scowls.
-You're convinced
Damian:
-Protective of you and fully believes that there is not a single person in the universe outside of your family who deserves your affection
-Tries to make your crush seem ordinary by being better than them at everything
-They can draw? Damian can draw better
-They like reading? Damian reads more
-They remember a small detail about you? Damian knows you better than you know yourself
-After a while of outdoing them at everything and convincing you that there is nothing special about them, you stop crushing on them

Any rules for requesting
Mmmmm, I guess the biggest one would be no smut. Granted I haven't really come across anything that I wasn't willing to write (please don't make this a competition to find those icks lol), but I guess smut would be the one thing I don't want to write.
I'm trying to keep this page platonic only, mainly because there are a lot of 'x reader' out there, and in my opinion not enough platonic readers.
If that makes sense. Once I find more icks I will update any Rules page I make.

A Chance for Redemption
—A mysterious high school student appears out of the blue, bearing the face of the late Martha Wayne and puzzling even Gotham’s greatest detectives.
[chapter 2]
| Platonic!Yandere!Batfam x Reader
The Batcomputer hummed with activity, casting an ethereal glow on the somber faces of the collected vigilantes. Five figures stood in a semi-circle, their eyes fixed on the screen.
"It seems we have an unexpected addition." Bruce, the one who called for their presence, broke the heavy silence.
The images of the young high school student continued to linger on the screen. Bruce's gaze drifted to Damian, the youngest among all of them, whose narrowed eyes betrayed a mix of curiosity and skepticism.
"What nonsense is this, Father?" The young boy’s voice cut through the air.
Bruce spared a glance at the stoic faces of his other sons, each processing the revelation in their own way. Dick's expression held concern, and Tim seemed lost in thought.
"She is a potential blood relative, a daughter,"
Hearing Bruce’s explanation, the rest stayed in a deafening silence. Silence in which did not last long as Jason was the first to break it with a cynical smirk.
"A long-lost daughter? You sure know how to keep things interesting, Bruce."
The man in question’s jaw tightened, a hint of frustration flashing in his eyes. "This is no time for jests, Jason."
The youngest of the bunch crossed his arms. "This is preposterous. We need evidence, not some blurry images claiming to be family."
Bruce, torn between the skepticism that fueled his vigilante persona and the yearning for a connection lost in the echoes of tragedy, took a deep breath.
As the initial shock settled inside of Dick’s inner turmoil, he stepped forward, his eyes meeting Bruce's with a hint of understanding.
"Alright, what’s our next move?"
Returning his gaze to the screen where the same haunting eyes looked back at him, he answered,
“We can’t disrupt her life until we have concrete evidence.” Looking back at the faces of his sons who looked back at him expectantly, he continued, “For now, we observe.”
Through the symphony of slamming lockers and loud chatter, a figure clothed in the infamous Gotham Academy’s prestigious uniform navigated through the school halls, a mysterious aura surrounding her.
Her demeanor was an ironic mix of grace and clumsiness, her backpack swaying with each step. Unbeknownst to her, the school’s surveillance cameras tracked her every move and captured her interactions with fellow students, the footage easily accessed by those who were over taken by curiosity.
Being one of the said individuals, Damian Wayne—who fortunately goes to the same school as the said girl—observed his potential sister from a distance. His piercing gaze followed her, skepticism etched in his features.
Nothing extraordinary.
She seems normal enough. Too normal to be considered a Wayne.
As she approached her locker, Damian skillfully maneuvered through the crowd, ensuring a safe distance. He observed her interactions; the genuine smile that adorned her face, and the unintentional charm that seemed to draw people toward her.
The boy had attempted to interact with her at least once, yet couldn’t bring himself to think of a topic to talk about, as the girl was as much of a mystery as the shadows that cloaked Gotham City.
The school day continued, each passing period carrying the young girl further into a world where her identity remained a mystery, and her every move became a piece of the puzzle for those who watched in silence.

Platonic Yandere Miguel O'Hara w/ Spider Brother Reader From Alternate Universe
Tumblr media
Summary: You have been the Spider-Man of Your Earth when you come contact with Miguel O'Hara of the Spider-Society and are asked to join. During your time at the Spider-Society, Miguel seems rather protective of you, even obsessive, but you don't know why. That is until you uncover his secret. Can you escape back to your Earth or are you doomed to remain with Miguel forever?
[Your Earth - New York - Your P.O.V]
You were swinging thought the air when the intercom in your ear began buzzing before the sound of the commissioner blasted in your ear stating that the Green Goblin was attacking the city which was strange because the Green Goblin was locked up in prison - something wasn't right in this situation but you knew that something had to be done, there was no way that you were going to let The Green Goblin to destroy the city.
You arrived just in time to shield the officers from the bombs the Green Goblin was throwing before you slingshot yourself to knock the creature off of the hoverboard he was riding on, knocking him to the roof before you used your webshooters to tie the Green Goblin up; you picked him up and was going to bring him to the police when a portal opened up behind you and a figure walked out of it: A Towering Figure wearing a black and red Spider-Man Suit with a strange device on his wrist. You placed the Green Goblin down and walked over to the towering male - at least what you could tell from his towering figure - and asked him what he was doing there. He just looked at you before looking at the Green Goblin behind you before walking pass you when another figure walked out of the portal - a female this time with a white and black Spider-Woman Suit with a hood. They walked over to the Green Goblin and placed a bracelet on his wrist before the towering male picked up the creature and walked into the portal with the female following him before the portal closed. You stood there confused for a moment before you took off into the night.
[Later That Night]
You returned to your apartment through the open window after making sure no one was outside to watch you go inside - a breath of relief left your lungs before you pulled off your mask, threw it on the desk by your bed and threw your tired body on the bed before closing your eyes. Your mind wandered with the events of today's events - mainly the tall man and short woman in Spider-Men Clothes that took the strange Green Goblin before leaving through a portal. Suddenly, your spider-sense began going off and your shot a web rope to your mask and slid it over your head before the familiar portal opened up in your room and the female walked out alone. She introduced herself as Gwen and explained that she came form the Spider-Society on Earth-928B in a place called Nueva York. Apparently, the tall male watched him deal with the Green Goblin - an Anomaly, as she put it - and they wanted you to join the Spider-Society. You thought about it and told her you wanted to take a look, with a smile, Gwen gave you a bracelet to keep you from Glitching as Gwen put it before the two of you walked into the portal which closed behind you.
Once you got out of the portal, you found yourself in the Spider-Society's Headquarters when you came face to face with the tall man but he wasn't wearing his mask - His short brown hair, blood red eyes, a brown skin slowly turned to the two of you as Gwen pulled her mask off and told you to the same, you were hesitate as first but you did it nonetheless. The Tall Man looked down at you with wide eyes as if he saw a ghost before he jumped from what he was doing and landed before the two of you. He slowly watched towards you with his hand up and grazed your cheek with the palm of his hand before you asked him not the touch you. When Gwen said that she wanted you to join the society, the tall man agreed and went back to doing whatever he was doing.
[About A Month Later]
You had been working with Gwen to hunt down Anomalies from multiple earths and returning them to their proper place but there was something strange about Miguel - The Leader of the Spider-Society & The Spider-Man of 2099 of Earth-928B. Miguel would insist that you remain close with him if you weren't doing missions with Gwen or himself - he didn't want you around anyone else but him and Gwen, which you didn't understand; he didn't even want you to talk to the Station's A.I. - Lyla. There was something about him that you didn't like... Okay, there were a lot of things about him you didn't like: He was controlling - he tried to keep you near, feed you what he wanted you to eat, stopping you from making friends with the other Spider-Men or just making you stay when it was time to return home.
One day - you were looking for Miguel and couldn't find him so you went to his area and found it empty when you noticed something floating in the air - it was an image of Miguel and...you? You looked at the image with your wide eyes - it was there clear as day, an image of you and Miguel, smiling and looking like a family and according the the image's information - it was you, a different version of you, one that was Miguel's Younger Brother who died during a mission and it just so happened that today was his birthday, and your birthday. You realized why Miguel was looking at you so much, why he was so clingy to you, why he wanted to keep you with him for so long...
You had to get out of here.
You turned around only to come face to face with Miguel's Red Eyes as he looked at you with sadness in his eyes before he walked over to the image and hung his head low before he began talking to you.
"You wanted to be a Spider-Man so bad when you got your powers and I was against it... I didn't want you to deal with this kind of life but you were persistent and I caved in and let you join. We were on a mission when out of now where your were attacked by an Anomaly and taken away from me but now... Now you are back and I am going to protect you this time, Little Brother. I promise, everything is going to be alright." Miguel said as he turned to look into your horrified eyes.
"I'm not your brother, Miguel... I think it would be a proper time to leave and never come back." You said as you walked over to the machine that opened portals to other universe and entered in your Earth's Coordinates but before you could enter them in, you were trapped in a red lasso and yanked back before you felt two large arms wrap around you, you struggled but he was stronger than you and wouldn't et you go.
"You're not leaving me again, Little Brother." Miguel said as he opened his mouth and stuck his fangs in your neck and bit down, releasing the toxin in your system before letting you go. You were wobblily, your were getting weaker by the second, you tried to get to the portal before you fell before it. You crawled to the portal and reached for it when Miguel walked over to the machine and closed it - taking away your freedom. Miguel crouched behind you and placed a hand on your cheek before telling you everything was going to be alright and it was time for you to sleep now...and that's what you did.
