Get Along
Collab with BBC Earth, Rewriting Extinction in association with Moondance Foundation
Ever felt… out of place? 🤨 Some trees feel the same way! Let’s plant native trees where they belong, so they can grow up to be strong, carbon-storing forests that work in perfect synergy! 🌳

If we want to reduce the heat we need to plant way more trees.
They provide shade, food, and effectively cool down the environment because they don’t hold heat like asphalt, pavement, bricks, traditional roofs, etc.
Trees provide habitat for birds which eat immense amounts of insects including caterpillars, mosquitos and flies, while also fertilizing the soil with their manure.
Some trees fix nitrogen into the ground making the soil more fertile in a natural and effortless and free way, just by standing there.
More trees also means more wood.
Trees can be used to create food forests, which in turn reduce the chances of forest fires because with well-managed living crops growing in the soil under the trees they hold more moisture and don’t catch on fire so easily.
You can prune them at will to give the lower crops the perfect amount of light and shade. With the pruning we can create mulch, (fire)wood, and wood chips mixed with mycelium for making walkingpaths that grow mushrooms.
Add a small amount of chickens per large area and you have extra fertilization and excellent pest control as they eat the insects that also like to eat vegetables. Include ducks and they will get rid of the slugs too.
Tree roots also hold the soil together, preventing soil erosion while providing excellent drainage so that when it rains, the water can penetrate the soil faster and deeper, effectively absorbing floods as well.

So thankful for him and all he does to try to save the only world we have🤍I think many people especially the older generations don’t realize how big the issue is and will always consider us the stupidity of the world when really we are our only hope to save this world. Sorry for the little rant but it’s true and I’m just so grateful for people like Aidan who will stop at nothing to find solutions🍀

so now the globalist want dogs and cats to eat grubs and maggots (to reduce their carbon paw print) , feed agricultural animals the frass (aka bug shite) ... they lament over too much CO2 (plant some damn trees, egits!) and too much heat from global warming (plant some damn trees, egits!)
I had to stop reading this drivel because i was about to blow a gasket (or emit 'too much' CO2) so now I am going outside to look at some trees and beautiful plants that take in CO2 and release Oxygen while I breathe deep and exhale slowly, giving them CO2 ... you know the simple science we all learned in elementary school.

Tree Love February 2024
Life of a Rubber tree
Start harvesting at 7th year
Produces Latex for 25 years.
Used for furniture at retirement
I have been fascinated by Rubber trees since my childhood. They are the first Love in the Tree Love series.
Firstly, because of the shiny green leaves it bears.
Secondly, because of the by-product this tree provides.
Thirdly I have seen the rubber tree plantation with my own eyes…

Did you know? Urban trees are more than just a pretty sight. They’re the unsung heroes of our cities. They clean our air, save energy, and even boost property values. But they’re under threat. Rapid urbanization, pollution, and climate change are pressing issues. So how can…

Consider how the leaves and branches of the trees conspire with the air elementals, to move them, to express how happy they are that you are here.

On our way back from
Ronda we found on the map a big
lake/water reservoir near Zahara, el Gastor.
We went to the only Access to the lake we could find.
On map it was called a recreative Zone, where I thought would have may be somebar and toilet, but what we found was
different. Apart from being connected to a small road where you do not wish to encounter oncoming traffic, the place looked deserted. There was a garden with
tables and tablebenches. Toys like on a playground and a deserted empty building. Either under construction or left to rot. It did look deserted in a way and
the suposed lake had less water on that part of the
lake then we expected. I guess this is due to the
missing rain that the region is experiencing.
In my humble opinion Spain would do good in rebuilding
much much more forest zones then it has in the
last 20 years. Yes there have been efforts but
it doesn't make enough dent to make a
difference for the big demands. Water levels seem
to be declining. According to some locals in Marchena
Wells have gone dry. But instead of thinking to
do something about the Climate in bigger effort for
reforestation, agriculture goes on and on. Wanting other regions waters.
I am not against agriculture. Don't get me wrong.
but when you visit Andalucia and other regions, it is staring into my face. This is completely out of balance!!!
