Will said he's "not gonna fall in love" EXACTLY when he does something referring to Mike:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm late to Byler (just watched s4 a month ago and found y'all after), and I'm guessing some caught that Will opened a bottle of syrup in front of his plate which has eggs, and Mike definitely liked syrup on his eggs in s1.
But has anyone pointed out the IRONY of Will saying "I'm not gonna fall in love" EXACTLY when he gets the syrup? The creators must have known eagle-eyed viewers would remember s1 Mike grossing out his sister with this.
So Will said "I'm not gonna fall in love," while we're all reminded of someone he's already in love with. But not only that: syrup on eggs is an unusual preference he seems to share with the boy he loves. Which symbolically suggests they're meant for each other.
(Yes, I know Will has pancakes there, but we all know you put ketchup on eggs lol. And he starts eating with just the syrup!)
The creators SO wanted him to say this line while unscrewing the cap that they made a continuity error. In the IMMEDIATE previous shot, Will had already unscrewed the cap:
Tumblr media
So the timing was deliberate.
And we all remember the very gay-coded Mike Tries Fruit on Pizza Incident. To which I'll point out:
Syrup on eggs = Fruit on pizza
Syrup and fruit both add sweetness to an otherwise starchy food. Just like being queer, some people instantly find the IDEA of it repulsive (Mike's sister called the syrup "disgusting"). But others find it delicious!
And it's canon that Mike has always liked sugar on his starch ;)
Mike didn't want to try fruit on pizza. "Fruit" is historically a derogatory word for gay men. He called fruit on pizza "blasphemous." His friends had to coax him to try sugar on his starch, which he always liked.
Afterward, Mike says off-camera that he liked his fruity pizza (screencap with subtitle):
Tumblr media
Oh, Mike, you just had to try it! And what's the harm in telling Will you like him? He just might like sugar on his starch as well!
"Try before you deny" indeed!
P.S. Follow me and read my blog! I have so much to say!

An update on companies boycotting Elon Musk's Nazi hate site Twitter X.
At least a dozen major brands have halted ad spending on X, formerly Twitter, since its latest advertiser exodus began last week over concerns about antisemitism and hate speech on Elon Musk’s social media platform. Fox Sports, Ubisoft, Axios, TechCrunch and Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media all told CNN in recent days that they’d paused their ad spending on X, joining other large advertisers that jumped ship last week. The ongoing exit of advertisers marks a deepening crisis for X, which was already struggling to woo brands back to the platform following Musk’s takeover last year. And it comes as growing numbers of X users also decamp to alternate platforms. The White House joined Threads this week, giving a boost to Meta’s X competitor. The latest revolt began last week when IBM said it had suspended advertising on X after a report from progressive media watchdog Media Matters found its ad had run alongside pro-Nazi content on the platform. IBM’s decision also came after Musk had publicly endorsed an antisemitic conspiracy theory in a post on X earlier in the week.
Paris Hilton is the latest advertiser to kick Musk in the balls.
Paris Hilton’s media company suspends ads on X, one month after agreeing to touted partnership with the platform
Elon Musk seems to have learned nothing from the backlash to his spreading of hate and conspiracy theories.
Elon Musk is now boosting the ‘Pizzagate’ conspiracy theory
Pizzagate? SERIOUSLY? Pizzagate is sooooo 2016. QAnon hasn't even dropped any new messages since Trump lost the 2020 election.
Musk is desperately trying to sow hate and chaos to help Republicans in the 2024 elections. He's now throwing tantrums because major advertisers are refusing to finance his game.
Twitter/X is not going to miraculously return to the good old days of pre-Musk. Have a good cry and get over it.
By remaining on Twitter/X you help prop up a cauldron of hate speech which has become a political toy for a far right billionaire.

• Victim of organized pedophilia at Stoke Mandeville seeks treatment years after Satanist abuse.
• One of these 'Stoke Mandeville' pedophiles, Michael Salmon, turns out to be friends with Miriam Rothschild, so much so that she wrote a preface for his book after he was convicted.
• Victim, at only 14 years old, gets taken in by Tavistock Clinic for extended studies.
• Victim exhibits symptoms of Monarch mind control in her paintings, as well as Dissociative Identity Disorder. Her identity splitting is so strong that, even as a non-artist, she manages to paint in 13 different artistic styles.
• Meanwhile, pedophile and Miriam Rothschild collaborate on art brut and butterfly collection, the art collection linked to an actual Illuminati building in Switzerland.
• Tavistock is the world's best knowledge source for Dissociative Identity Disorder at this point.
• Through ties to sister organization called The Wellcome Trust, key funding source for mental health research at clinic turns out to be Miriam Rothschild.
• Art Brut expert Micheline Klagsbrun, a Tavistock-educated psychiatrist who studied art therapy practices at Tavistock, runs the CrossCurrents foundation, one of the primary funders of the Transformer Gallery in Washington DC, run by local restaurateur James Alefantis.
• Tavistock is linked to both Stoke Mandeville and the Comet Ping Pong ring, on top of other links to Anglo-American establishments through Folger, Sackler families.

I was reading and came across these pages, and tbh I think some people need them stapled to their foreheads, because they refuse to stop othering conspiracy theorists and calling em all mentally ill by default.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ID:
Picture 1: "If you've had a conversation with a conspiracy theorist, and almost all of us have, you've met people who do not display symptoms of delusional disorder far more often than those who do," he said. "The ordinary conspiracy theorist is an intelligent, sane, and generally rational person. They are, in fact, unsettlingly less different from you than you may have thought."
Picture 2: "Conspiracy theories resonate with some of our brain's built-in biases and shortcuts, and tap into some of our deepest desires, fears, and assumptions about the world and the people in it," writes author and psychologist Rob Brotherton in the introduction to his groundbreaking book Suspicious Minds: Why We Believe Conspiracy Theories. "We are all natural-born conspiracy theorists."
Tldr, conspiracy theorists are people who've been manipulated and taken advantage of psychologically. Most of em know what they're doing. They're just doing it for the wrong reasons. And even if their ideologies are super overkill (I'm talking the insurrectionists and all that madness), they still think it's the right thing! Just like how you know what you do is right, they "know" what they do is right, too. And the more people dig their heels in and pretend these conspiracy theorists are just mentally ill across the board, and gun for that as the treatment to all this, it's not gonna help anyone! It'll help a handful of people who are in fact mentally ill, but that's the same with any other group.

Okay I'm done. P.S. Read the dang book.
