Full name: Juno Moore
Conduit power: hydrokinesis
Meaning for name: Juno’s parents thought it was a clever play on words considering their child was born in the month of June.
Age: 27
Eye color: pale green
Build: pixielike
Hair color and length: Juno keeps her black hair at a short bob length, with bangs that frame her aquamarine eyes. She has an undercut, and a blue streak. Sometimes she wears it up in a ponytail.
Taste in clothes: Juno wears an eclectic mix of minimal and grunge, sleek sweaters with cutoffs and fishnets, skinny jeans with band tshirts and doc martens. She has tattoos.
Music: indie hipster music
Daredevil or cautious: Juno is more of a cautious, reserved person, and waits to step out of her comfort zone for moments where she has someone with her to instigate her. She’s not quite “no fucks given”, more like “some fucks given”.
Hobbies: Juno collects records, and her fondness of her local record shop led to the owner offering her a position at the cozy shop. Juno doesn’t tell him (not that he would actually mind), but she makes a weekly trip to all of the various record shops across Seattle to hunt for her grail records.
Because of Juno’s conduit power, she keeps a lot of house plants. She has a knack for keeping the potted greenery alive and thriving.
Juno also paints, a hobby she held since her college days. Her tiny apartment has half painted canvases shoved behind every corner, and has even hung some in a couple local coffee shops.
Favorite thing: the quiet of sunrise on the waterfront, mist coating the water and a hot drink in hand.
Favorite person: There’s this guy that Juno met recently. He’s tall, he’s a troublemaker, and he’s got a wickedly charming smile. She ran into him (quite literally) while trying to avoid a DUP truck. He was spray painting some graffiti, and she slammed right into his back. He laughed it off, turning the resulting paint error into a feature, and they’ve since met up a few times after running into each other casually. Juno hasn’t quite parsed what the flutters in her stomach mean, but he’s quickly becoming her favorite person to be around.
What would break them: being found out by the DUP, and getting locked up.
What are they reluctant to tell people: Juno doesn’t tell anyone about her conduit powers, given the current status of the DUP. Given her particular powers, it’s easy to keep them hidden.
Opinion on sex / relationships: Juno had a few flames that burnt out after a while, a couple girlfriends and a boyfriend in college. Lately, Juno hasn’t gotten close enough to anyone to bother with either, although she’s not opposed to the idea. She’s an adamant supporter of consenting adults allowing themselves to enjoy life.
Major flaws: Juno can be hesitant to do things, confidence doesn’t always come easy to her. Self doubt floats through her mind frequently, and having the stigma of being a conduit has directly affected that. She can sometimes be oblivious because of how she overlooks the interactions of others with her.
Selfish or selfless: Juno, in general, is altruistic. She’s quick to help a person in need.

The Quiet Market - 13/Kate Stewart
A/N: Another little fluff for @fluffbruary.
Kate doesn’t know what makes her look up when she does, but she smiles at the sight of 13, the Doctor, shopping in the market. It feels surprisingly normal, she thinks, meeting 13. The woman is small, almost pixielike and Kate can’t help being charmed by her voice and manners, the woman is always so happy to see her too. Still, she wonders what brings her here this time. Later she will discover 13 had come to find her. Seeking company. Company who could keep up to what she was doing. Kate was adept by now at keeping up, so when she’s lead away from the market, she keeps her pace steady, trusting herself and knowing she would do anything for the Doctor.

I just watched the Twilight Saga for the first time
I just binged the Twilight films all in a row. First time watching most of them (ya I know I'm really late but I've read all the books)
And omg
Its so funny to just see the vampires popping each other's limbs and heads off
In the books vampires were like, indestructible. Skin like marble, epic senses, powers, super strength, enhanced speed... the whole shabang.
(That actually reminds me, every time the vampires did the speed run thing I just cracked up. It looks so goofy)
And other vampires were ripping them apart as easily as opening a champagne bottle
Oh and another thing
In the books vampires were described as being like stone. Its so funny in the films because they literally have stone insides? Like when they're turning do they just... like go all medusary and legit just turn into stone??!? If so it must be like granite or something because vampires can kill each other humorously easily

Bella smiles softly as she stares out of the window. It’s possible she was a bit of a pessimist. So often things seems dark and terrible. Too often they were. Never in her life had she held hands with death until coming to Forks. And yet, she’d grown to see so much beauty in it all. Not just the Cullens who were inarguably stunning, but it was bone deep their beauty.
Even the rain and grey weather had become endearing to her. Charlie’s little house with remnants of his life long past with Renee was sad at first. Now though, as she’d been able to make little changes here and there, it had become a home. “I’m trying,” she leans her head against Alice’s shoulder, “not that it’s so hard to see beauty in things when I’m hanging out with you.” Regardless of what may come, Bella hoped Alice would always be the sister she’d never had, a sister she didn’t even realize she’d wanted so much until she was lucky enough to have Alice. // @pixielike

Still, this was ridiculously silly. But sometimes, all that energy could overwhelm her a bit. ❛ It's just one date, and it's not like Carlisle and I aren't married already. ❜ In truth, Esme was terrified of this date somehow going wrong, which was stupid and ridiculous but she couldn't help it. Even after years, it was hard to convince herself that she was worthy of him.
❛ Do you really think I can pull that off? ❜ Esme asked shyly, golden eyes taking in the dress Alice had delicately placed on the bed. It seemed too much for her, like if she put it on, the dress would wear her and not the other way around.
