How to Find the Right Smoke Bombs?
Before going to the smoke bomb photography ideas, firstly, you should know that many types of smoke bombs exist. You can discover them in a can or stick form. Every brand and product will perform differently, so make sure you look at each feature before buying.
Burn Time: Some smoke bombs last longer than others. Start small and find something that gives you approximately one minute of active output per smoke bomb. This will authorize you to alter as required.
Density: The smoke's density will affect your image's opacity. You can decide ahead of time whether you prefer a thin, mist-like coverage or fuller, opaque coverage.
Activation: Are you looking for a lighter or a way to pull a wire? Although it is easier to use, a wire pull can be more expensive. There is no concern about what sort of wire attraction you choose. You need to ensure that you follow the instructions!
Smoke Bomb Photoshoot: You'll need to consider other things when adding smoke bombs into your photo shoot.
Consider your color choices when you are planning. You can make your smoke bomb work for you by adding much color to your environment. Do you want your smoke to be out-of-place and in your face? Try to match it. Try to create a more harmonious effect. Look for similar color schemes.
Weather conditions should be considered. The smoke will be dispersed faster by wind so that you won't have any dominion over the smoke. You can make your smoke blow a little by using a fan. A battery-operated, hand-held fan should suffice and shouldn't cost you more than $10-15.
You'll want to get the most from the brief amount of active smoking time once you start. Before you activate the effect, contact your composition and metering in order.
Lighting is important! The smoke will be opaque, so you can make it shine with a speed light and strobes. You might be able to make interesting light streaks with smoke that isn't completely opaque.
