AU where it's Padme that goes all evil and not Anakin?
send me an au and i’ll give you 5+ headcanons about it
Had some trouble figuring out how to make Anakin not be loyal to Padme here, but hey:
Padme does not think she's evil. This is a Padme who was radicalized by the invasion of Naboo, a Padme who grew up and joined the Senate with poison in her heart, which only got stronger as she saw how little she was able to do. This is a Padme who agrees with Anakin: the galaxy would be much better if one good person was in charge. That good person should be Her.
She doesn't tell him that she agrees with him, because she's still under the radar, but she doesn't... really try to dissuade him. Just talks about how difficult it is to find someone that's really, truly good. Why, even Chancellor Palpatine has made all these questionable policy decisions...
Padme is much faster and more successful about securing Anakin's loyalty as compared to Palpatine. She's also been kind of conditioning Anakin to think about how she'd be a MUCH better dictator than anyone else, and how he should run any kind of political ideas past her first. She conditions him to run everything past her. She's got this perfect in with the Chancellor and the Jedi that isn't just Her, The Senator, but she needs that in to be loyal to only her, and more importantly, dependent on her. She does really, truly love her Ani, but he's much more useful when he asks her to do his thinking for him. What this really means is that when Anakin has dreams about her death, and goes to Palpatine, and gets fed some lines about how only Palpatine can save her if Anakin just swears loyalty to him, Anakin actually asks Padme about what to do before he does it. He goes to Padme before he goes to the Jedi. Padme tells Anakin that Palpatine needs to be removed. If he's a Sith, then who's to say that he isn't the threat to Padme's life? Who's to say he isn't the one feeding Anakin these dreams? Palpatine is evil, Anakin, and he's made it impossible to remove him from power legally.
Padme tells Anakin to kill Palpatine. And he does. And Padme's years and years of manipulating the Senate in shady corners and through applying her wiles and through applying her Jedi and his mind tricks to her coworkers, through collecting blackmail and applying pressure, it all comes together, and Padme becomes the Empress.
Anakin is happy to follow her, until he realizes that she's so focused on her new power that she's neglecting the twins. He tries to dismiss it; after all, he's got much more free time than she does, now, so he can watch them. He's mostly the guy she uses to try to placate the Jedi, which he's not great at, and mostly the Jedi try to convince him that Padme's lost her shit and needs to be quietly removed. Not killed! Just... retire to her fancy lake house and stop ruling the Empire with an iron fist in a fancy silk glove.
Padme doesn't... not love her children. But between the years of selling out her lesser morals in favor of pursuing complete control of the galaxy for the sake of her biggest moral core, which is No Military Actions, and the Sithly Environs of the Chancellery Apartments that she's moved into, which Anakin doesn't know how to purge and the Jedi aren't allowed in to exorcise, she's kind of losing the plot and getting more and more evil. It's mostly her own foibles that are making her go evil, but it's the General Sithly Vibe are pushing her that last little bit to just... ignore her kids. She's got more important things to do, right?
Padme uses the clone army to enact her will on less cooperative planets. She uses the brain chips, when Anakin isn't looking. She's sure that he wouldn't turn his back on her, after all she's done to secure his loyalty, but it's best to not risk it.
Some Jedi try to take her out. She has them killed, by Anakin and the clones alike. She praises Anakin for it, as she tightens restrictions on the Temple. He has a bit more 'what have I done' but not. Quite. Yet. (After all, Padme's not risking death to the Jedi Younglings yet. Not yet. Not yet.)
Ahsoka shows up, with Rex in tow, and tries to convince Anakin to help them peacefully remove Padme from power. He's one of the core reasons that Padme has managed to maintain her power. He can change this. Padme hears about this. He tells Anakin that Ahsoka's a threat. She's going to try to remove Padme, like Anakin removed Palpatine. She tells Anakin that Ahsoka needs to die.
Anakin would rather arrest his wife than kill his sister.

Team STRQ ships please:
Hummingbird (Qrow x Summer)
Phoenix (Raven x Taiyang)
Snapdragon (?) (Summer x Taiyang)
Rosebird (Raven x Summer)
Taiqrow (Taiyang x Qrow)
ask meme
Long post ahead
Hummingbird (Qrow x Summer)
Tumblr media
God damn, if I sound disinterest in any of these ships, I am sorry. But fucking Qrow and Raven makes the already lackluster dynamic of STRQ worse, on so many levels. We already have shit with Tai and Summer, and Qrow is fucking bloating the cast up with his whiny ass. I'll get to Raven later.
Back to the ship, I just do not like Qrow at all, and Summer's latest information dump makes her so weird as an entity. Did she straight up LIED to her husband, who she knows was emotionally destroyed by the same bitch she's about to team up with? Or did she truly not know about her demise because she was overconfident in her own abilities against Salem?
And the emblem never fucking made sense, because before V9, there's nothing much that can tell us about Summer as a person or even an active force in Ruby's life aside from some "tell, not show" from Yang and Qrow. None of that alluded to the rose emblem or how it affected Ruby as person when her mother disappeared.
These two characters literally have nothing that makes me care about them as individuals, let alone fucking partners in a relationship. Not to mention, rabid Hummingbird stans are just as annoying as Bee/s when it comes to Tai. Guys, Qrow doesn't need to be Ruby's bio parent for them to have a strong bond, stop diminishing Tai's already tiny role from her life to push your ship. I cannot stand Qrow's whiny ass as it is right now, having him be an active absentee parent like his twin will make me hate him more.
Phoenix (Taiyang x Raven)
Tumblr media
Same reasoning here for these two, with Tai as Summer and Raven as Qrow. Raven need to stay the fuck away from Tai, and this is coming from a person who eat up toxic dynamics for lunch.
Raven is just insufferable, and fans can make her more complex than canon ever can. But because we never know why she canonically abandoned her family, including her infant daughter, Raven just comes off as a shallow, selfish bitch who would hang with criminals who hit on her child than be with the people who love her despite her past.
If that was the case, FINE. Whatever, but then the show goes on to villainize Ozpin and blaming him for her reasons to leave. If Raven was scared of Ozpin, why did she team up with someone directly working for his antithesis, Salem? Then Lost Fables comes out, and it turns out Ozpin didn't even curse her and Qrow with magic, because they kept transforming willy-nilly with no consequences at all. Blame Salem for your issues if you want to avoid your responsibilities, you bitch.
And Tai...poor Tai. He's not a perfect parent, but goddamn he is the BEST when you use the likes of Jacques, Raven or even Ghira as comparisons. Yet he was villainized by the FNDM and Qrow is heralded as a good adult figure for Ruby when it was TAI who raised them for most of their lives. No one has to like Tai and his parenting can be criticize, but he is not the worse parent ever when fucking Salem is still around.
So yeah. Not my fav. Like, at all. And I deadass can make a better storyline for them as individuals and as a dynamic.
Snapdragon (Taiyang x Summer)
Tumblr media
Oh man...again, the fucking reveal for Summer in V9 truly diminished a good majority of my enjoyment of this ship. Again, if Summer KNEW about her demise, she willingly left her husband with their children to go with someone who betrayed them both, not even thinking about how he would take losing ANOTHER person he love.
I just enjoy fanon so much more for them, because there Summer and Tai are actually treated with respect. For example, my moot @bunbunsophy made an amazing art piece of evil!Summer inspired by Makima from Chainsaw Man, and it was an amazing foundation for an AU where Summer manipulated everyone around her to her desires, especially Tai. It create this angsty goodness where he has become her toy, heartbroken but broken as well to do her biddings with no will to fight back because he loves her. This is his wife, mother of his daughters, and without her Taiyang will be alone.
Literally ANYTHING would've made this ship interesting, but canonically, they're bland as fuck.
Rosebird (Raven x Summer)
Tumblr media
Fuck Rosebird shippers who refuse to include trans!Raven or trans!Summer into the dynamic in order to make Yang and Ruby. Do not fucking breathe near me.
Other than that; same shit as Hummingbird, but so much worse. Raven is a bitch, and it was clear in V9 that Summer cannot stand her ass. Not to mention that stupid ass panel in the DC crossover comic where bird Raven shat on Summer to Ruby. Like bitch, that is mad rich for you to judge Summer as a person WHEN YOU ABANDONED YOUR OWN CHILD. Fuck her.
Personally, I like the take where they were partners in Beacon instead of being Tai or Qrow's, because the betrayal between them will feel more personal like the boys' instead of "we were in the same team and she hurt the two men we both care about and I'm just here." I'm not saying that they can't be friends outside of partnership, but the partnership creates this unique bond that neither shares with Tai and Qrow; Summer trusted Raven to watch her back in battle, Raven grew close to her as a friends and someone she will die for, they know each other's fighting style to a detailed level and played off of each other so well that it's almost tragic when Raven left.
And when that scene in V9 happened, you feel that bitterness from Summer so much more because this was her partner who preferred something bad more than her. Maybe then I'll lean into this ship more, but right now it doesn't spark the least bit of joy.
TaiQrow/Mourning Dove (Taiyang x Qrow)
Tumblr media
Same sentiment here; I just don't care about Qrow because he's a terrible character, and Tai barely got anything to himself.
But holy hell, going off of the partnership AU between them, the fallout between these two would've been tragically beautiful; they understand each other in ways neither Summer or Raven could, and at the end of it all they were the only ones left behind. But because of the pain left behind for them, they grow apart even though it kills them everytime they raised their voice, every time Qrow pick up another bottle after Tai begged him to stop, every time Qrow had to snap Tai out of his depression for his girls and yet Tai cannot shine as brightly as he could anymore.
All that was left was resentment, burying a layer of hope that will always yearn for the THEM of before, or at least something close enough because they still love each other.
But canon hates them and they hate us more. So you know.
Thanks for the ask!

For the self ship questions can I ask 12 and/or 24 please 💕 also who’s your fav
Who’s my favorite is really hard to answer xD - it depends on a few factors. I probably shift between Kid, Sir Crocodile and Marco the most for who is top spot.
Though admittedly it’s Kid most of the time, and a fairly equal struggle between Croc and Marco otherwise.
I suppose I can cheat a little and answer these a little concisely for all the f/o’s my greedy ass wants to list xD if you want more details for anyone listed, feel free to ask but I’mma go wild.
12. What’s your favorite body part of your f/o? What’s their favorite body part of yours?
Eustass Kid - I cannot lie, it’s that dick. I just know it’s perfect and only slightly too much. His favorite part of me is my back - he’s never made someone cream from kissing their back until me and it delights him the asshole.
Marco - those eyes. 😍 gods he has the best bedroom eyes (I do also wanna lick those abs like a xylophone). His favorite part of me are my hands ^_^
Sir Crocodile - it’s his voice I do not care if it’s technically not a part it’s still my answer. His favorite part of me is my neck.
Killer - Those hands. My gods those hands. His part for me are my lips >.>
Law - his neck. All of him is divine, but the sounds he can’t control when you tease his neck are 😤 his favorite part of me… oh I bet he’s an ass man.
24. How loud is your f/o? Do they moan, whine, whimper or curse? Do they call your name like it’s the only thing they know?
Kid is a talker - he doesn’t hardly shut up with the dirty talk and name calling. He’ll grunt and gasp, but usually he’s swearing and calling out names/nicknames when he cums.
Marco’s a talker to, less than Kid, and quieter. He’s more likely to talk right into my ear while I’m losing my mind under him. Bastard stays composed so often it’s a goal to try and unravel him.
Sir Crocodile doesn’t make any sounds. He’s there to revel in the sounds he makes me make 🫣
Killer’s quiet too, but Killer’s quiet in a lot of ways. He’ll whisper praises as he cums though >.> that his Little One does so well to take him.
Law moans and curses a little, holding on like a man apt to drown if he lets go.

How Do You Want To Be Loved?
Carefully, like a gentle rain on dry Earth
You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure you're doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered. But someone will come along who will put those pieces back together again.

What is Hitoya sexiest features!
Oh man
OOOOOH MAN
That's hard.
Rambling under the cut because oh my god I'm such a simp
tldr: he's a chad
The fact that he's a mix between a jojo and ace attorney character should be enough of an explanation but since you're here asking for the sexiest feature I must say something that's a bit more specific. I have several headcanons. Several. All of them just make my head boil and want to squeak and giggle like a teenager 😳 like how I imagine him being buff but also soft and with a tummy and body hair- okay I have to stop
I want to eat his hair. Yes, it might have a shit ton of product for it to stay in a pompadour but it looks so soft I want to play with it and much it. Alpacatoya is too real for me
Then there's Takeuchi being a blessing 🙏🙏 The way he growls and omg I have already mentioned a couple times that I have listened to him shout angrily in Harmonious Cooperation way too many times
But. The one thing that made me go from "haha jojo chara" to fall in love with him is his personality. Like sure, he's cool and a good man and yada yada but he also smokes and drinks which is something that... I don't find attractive. But do you know what beat all of that?
The sentence he got for Iyogi
I was chanting kill kill kill kill kill while reading the manga and then- Oh my. OH MY. THIS MAN. THE BRAINS. THIS ABSOLUTE CHAD. HE SINGLEHANDEDLY RUINED THAT BITCH'S LIFE AND I'M SO DOWN FOR IT.
And that, my friend, is the sexiest thing about Hitoya
Anyway anon, if you were looking for me to say a physical feature... Uh... I guess I can pick his eyes because he has funky looking eyes and hell yeah

☕️ Athos (pourquoi non?)
I love his basic character - stern, silent, noble; has a mysterious secret - and hate the misogyny. which is why I love his fantasy counterpart, Aerich, who is also stern, silent, and noble, and has a mysterious secret, but it hasn't caused him to hate women.

Hanleia, Wrightworth and Klavipollo for the ship ask!!
Hanleia:
I love these two. The Legends canon is my preferred Han/Leia, but original trilogy Han/Leia is a close second. Sequel trilogy Han/Leia is my least favorite and I haven't really seen any of the new Extended Universe versions of them, but... since their endpoint is now the sequel trilogy I imagine I wouldn't be super thrilled by them.
Why do I ship it?: So I was first exposed to Star Wars at a very young age as part my dad's successful scheme to turn me into a sci-fi nerd. Which means Han/Leia might be my very first belligerent UST ships. While I do find Han's behavior on the Falcon during The Empire Strikes Back a bit questionable, ultimately in Return of the Jedi he was willing to back off when he thought he'd misread Leia's interest in him and that she was actually in love with Luke. I think that's ultimately why I like them as a ship so much - they bicker and it's fun to listen to; yet while they may push each others buttons, Han respects Leia's boundaries and agency when it counts.
What are your favorite things about the ship?: So, as I mentioned, I like them best in the Legends EU best, especially once they get married. Han is always supportive of Leia, Leia loves Han for who he is and not who she thinks she can 'fix' him to be, and they are such good parents once the twins and then Anakin show up. They still bicker and tease each other, but they've learned to communicate extremely well.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?: I don't know that I do. I don't like that they're broken up in the sequels. While I get that love might not be enough to keep them together after their son decided to become a white supremacist... er... Sith wannabe, they just aren't really the characters I grew up with. But as I'm not the only person who feels that way, it's hardly an unpopular opinion.
Wrightworth:
Why do I ship it?: I think the moment I learned they were childhood friends and the Phoenix had become a lawyer in order to see Miles again, I was hooked. And once Miles learns the truth about his past, the way he relaxes around Phoenix is just delightful. The two of them care about each other and are soft for each other and I adore that so much.
What are your favorite things about the ship?: Their unwavering faith in each other. Phoenix never once believes that Miles is a murderer. And when Phoenix is disbarred, Miles never really believed that Phoenix would fake evidence. And when they need each other? They show up. When Miles wouldn't protect himself, Phoenix insisted on protecting him over Miles' protests. And when Phoenix was in over his head when Maya was kidnapped, Miles jumped at the opportunity to come back to help.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?: Probably not for this either? I do see both of them being arospec, so me interpreting their relationship as being queerplatonic instead of romantic would probably be an unpopular headcanon amongst the arophobic, but who cares what arophobes think anyway?
Klavipollo:
Why do I ship it?: They're adorkable. Klavier is a cheerful menace and Apollo is a bit of a nervous wreck and I really enjoy the way their dynamics play off each other.
What are your favorite things about the ship?: Klavier has very understandable reasons to dislike Apollo and instead he still adores his precious Herr Forehead. Apollo was involved in unveiling that beneath their smiling facades both Klavier's brother and best friend were calculating murderers. And yet Klavier clearly continues to enjoy Apollo's company. Apollo is clearly confused by Klavier's attention, but that's just part of the fun of their interactions.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?: Not really.

If you still do the ask meme: nr.1 for a timetravel Jangosoka?
26 Family Prompts Ask Meme
Accidental Baby Acquisition
This contains both intentional and accidental acquisition. (They'll give it back! Probably.)
------------------
"He's mine."
Jango looks at the woman he has, somehow, managed to fall for.
He looks at the baby.
He looks at her again.
"You adopted? Without asking me?"
"No, birthed him myself."
That baby is human. Fully human. There is no chance, in any way, that Ahsoka managed to have a fully human child. There's some shit about placentas or whatever. A tog can't surrogate a human and vice versa.
"Jetii--"
"Oh, I'm in trouble," she giggles, entirely too enthused about his annoyance.
"Jetii," he tries again, "please tell me you didn't steal a child."
"I did not steal a child," she confirms. "I just... acquired one."
"Acquired one."
"Yeah."
He waits in vain. He breaks and asks, "Ahsoka, how did you acquire this child?"
She smiles at him.
--
The child's name is Ferus Olin. He was not stolen, but given willingly by his parents for Ahsoka to take to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
"You could have just said so," Jango gripes as he fires up the engines. She laughs at him, and hikes the tot higher on her hip. "Don't act like it's not within the realm of possibility that you'd randomly pick up a kid and forget to warn me about it."
"Sure," she says, "but consider this: it was funny."
"You are not nearly as funny as you think you are."
Ahsoka rolls her eyes and addresses the kid instead. "What do you think, Ferus? Am I funny?"
The toddler--baby, really--stares up at her silently. There is something up with that kid, but Jango figures that's par for the course with Force Sensitives.
A slightly wet, very chubby hand lands on a lekku.
"That is saliva," Jango notes aloud, mostly because Ahsoka looks a little disgusted, and likes she's trying to hide it from the kid. "Baby drool."
"Oh, fu--shove off."
"Classy."
--
So like. Here's the thing. About carting around two almost-Jedi:
One of them is his age, and hot, and weird, and he's a little bit in love with her.
The other one is less than a year old, and should be relatively safe and sound to leave alone for five minutes while napping so they can do things like use the bathroom, or argue over the nav, or knock against the walls doing things that babies probably shouldn't know about.
Ahsoka says that Ferus was a rule-abiding guy in the future, uptight, even.
This means nothing, because the ship jolts out of hyperspace without warning while Jango's got his hand up a hot tog's skirt, and they both have to rush to the cockpit to find the literal baby has crawled onto the pilot's seat and somehow turned off the nav.
The baby continues patting, full-palm, at the controls.
"What the fuck?" Jango demands.
"Language," Ahsoka sniffs, and then picks up the baby and swings him around. "Who's a little troublemaker? You are!"
"What the actual--"
"Language!" Ahsoka snaps, a little harsher this time. "There's a baby."
"Yes, I noticed, it just knocked us out of hyperspace."
Ahsoka rolls her eyes. "It's fine. We just need to keep a better eye on him."
"This could have been deadly."
"Eh, doubt it," she dismisses. "I mean, with a normal kid, yeah, but I bet you ten to one odds that he did this because the Force told him to."
"I cannot explain how much that doesn't fill me with confidence."
She ignores him. She settles into the chair, toddler on her lap, and closes her eyes. This lasts for several minutes, and Jango tries to keep his impatience under control so he doesn't 'project' it into the Force or whatever it is that the Jedi are worried about. It would distract Ahsoka, and possibly more importantly, it would upset the baby.
"I've got it," she finally says. "A direction. He pulled us out a bit early, but the fact that we didn't overshoot it is a bit of a shocker in and of itself."
"A direction to what?"
She shrugs. "We'll find out."
--
The direction is to a fresh-faced teenage Duros by the name of Cad Bane, who's been floating around the guild's gossip lines for a few years now. He's good, for eighteen, but Jango hasn't met him before, and Ahsoka really doesn't like him--Jedi don't hate, supposedly--and that's enough for Jango to have zero interest in really networking here.
Also, Bane has a stolen toddler. Jango knows the toddler is stolen, because she's dressed in far-too-fancy clothes for Bane to bother with, and screaming her head off, and trying to bite him, and yelling about how she wants to go home. Surprisingly eloquent for a toddler, actually. She can't be more than four.
Jango wants to get involved. He's itching for a fight. He does not get one.
He gets the smaller baby, and is told to take care of said baby and be ready to catch the bigger baby--toddler--while Ahsoka handles the fighting.
It seems kinda personal. Jango leaves her to it. It's not like they need both of them to fight this literal teenager.
(He's right. They don't.)
--
There are now two small children on Jango's ship. One of them is barely-almost a toddler, and the other is barely-almost not.
"I am Padme Naberrie of Naboo," the little girl tells him, all care and important grandeur. "Thank you for saving me. When may I return home?"
Naboo. The noble kids from there are damn creepy. Also worth a good ransom or a better bounty, to some. It's not exactly surprising that Bane went for one of them. the family must be pretty influential somehow.
"Not sure," Ahsoka says. "We were on our way to Coruscant... do you have a number we can call? Maybe one of your parents can meet us on the way."
"That is ac-cep-table," the little girl sounds out. She even bows, a touch wobbly. "Thank you, Master Jedi."
Ahsoka is not a Master, and is only sort of a Jedi. She does not correct little Padme, because that would be a little mean, in Jango's estimate. The girl's just been through something harrowing, and even he's not that much of a dick.
"Do you know their contact info?" he asks instead.
--
They aren't on a convenient hyperlane for Naboo, so they're meeting Lady Naberrie on Corellia. It's several days there, which is still faster than trying to get to Naboo from where they currently are, and Padme spends an hour or two talking to her mother before the woman enters hyperspace and comms are no longer an option. Then she talks to her father, and asks about someone called Sola, and Jango's not paying enough attention to keep track of who's who in the life of a child that is not his.
He doesn't have enough beds on the ship for this.
He empties out a small armor crate and lines it with blankets, then sets it on teh floor by the end of his bed. It's big enough for Ferus, who probably doesn't care much for fancy things. Padme gets her own bed, because they're strangers and it would be odd to suggest she share with Ahsoka as a gender thing. The other, larger bed is then for Jango and his somewhat irritating and entirely too lovely Jedi.
He laces his fingers with hers, once they're in bed, autopiloting down the hyperlane. Padm's breathing has finally evened out, and Ferus hasn't woken up yet either.
"Do you want them?" he asks.
"Hm?" Ahsoka shifts, and when she speaks, it's sleep-heavy and muddled. "Want what?"
"Kids," he says.
She's silent, long enough that he starts to wonder if she's fallen asleep, but eventually she shrugs. "I'll take an apprentice one day, probably."
It's basically the same thing, for Jedi.
"Did I ever..."
He tries not to ask too much about his personal future. He knows how Galidraan would have ended, and knows that somehow, he had been involved in a clone army that tried to kill Ahsoka when she was seventeen. She tries not to tell him too much.
"One," she says. "Boba. A few years younger than me. And..."
She doesn't finish.
"And?"
"Maybe another time," she says.
He's gotten that response more than once. He knows it for the wall it is.
"Alright," he says. "You could... tell me about Boba in the morning?"
"Maybe."
Noncommittal. He's not entirely surprised.
"Okay," he finally says. He presses a kiss to her lek. "Goodnight, Ahsoka."
"Night, Jango."

those words should’ve made phoenix feel better but they didn’t because they were unbelievable to her. she was the whole reason her coven got hunted and killed; how could she not believe she was a nuisance? she felt like she brought death wherever she roamed. it probably wasn’t even safe for andrea to be around her considering the witch hunters were still hot on her trail. it’s a miracle they haven’t found her yet. tears rolled down her pale cheeks, her lips pressed together in an attempt to hold back her anguish.      ❛      it’s okay, andrea, you don’t have to lie. i mean, the evidence is stacked pretty high against me. even you have to admit that.      ❜

ship bingo! coyotix ;))
Tumblr media
Well, my thoughts haven't really changed about these two since the last ship bingo, only that I think I ship them more than I did before. I marked the "crackship" field because the whole idea of having them sleep together once and then trying to avoid each other and when that fails, start dating secretly seemed so random and odd, but very funny at the same time. (On the other hand, I think in the Top Gun fandom everyone can be shipped with everyone it would still be plausible, so I'm not sure if we can talk about crackships in this case).
The only thing that has changed was basically the mental playlist that I've been putting together for them: it started with LeAnn Rimes' The Right Kind of Wrong, but now it also has Why Did It Have to Be Me? by ABBA, Toxic and Oops I Did It Again by Britney Spears and Right Round by Flo Rida.

Top 5 video games soundtracks? Or if you are not too big on soundtracks, how about top 5 books?
Joke's on me both of these are hard I'll at least do what I can though!
Ace Attorney - Let's not get into how often I randomly drop 'Pursuit Theme' for things like kittens chasing each other. The orchestral album lives in my head rent-free (and has also migrated through several phones now so I always have it)
Okami - Just a gorgeous soundtrack in general, plus the various orchestral arrangements (including the one with traditional instruments) are absolutely stunning. Shout out to Red Helm for being one of my favorite boss themes ever.
Hades - There's just a lot of good music in Hades. The vocal tracks, the instrumental tracks, it's all excellent at building the mood it wants to convey and it's just frankly a joy to listen to in or outside the game.
Valkyria Chronicles - Look. This game wrecked me. Thinking about this game wrecks me. But also it just has some really nice music and I may or may not have an orchestral album of that one too you can prove nothing.
Legend of Zelda - Zelda in general just has nice themes and tracks. Ocarina of Time having an instrument you play to summon various effects, and then being able to pick out those same notes in the music of the game, is an especially nice touch.
And for books (that I've read recently because we'll be here all day waiting for me to pick otherwise):
The Locked Tomb Series - Is in the process of actively eating my brain. I'm just about through my re-read of Harrow, after which I am immediately going to start on Nona. Don't expect to see me for a while. Highly recommended.
A Marvellous Light - Picked up from the library to give it a try, ended up getting hooked and now eagerly awaiting the sequel. The setting is used to particularly nice effect, while also challenging the stereotypes of that same setting.
All of Us Villains - Picked up from the library intending to joke about how it was a reskinned Fate. Ended up genuinely getting invested and picked up the sequel the day it dropped, which I also finished in roughly a day. Some things in there hit hard.
The Curse of Challion Trilogy - It's been a while since I've read it but I do remember that every book made me cry at some point during reading. Fascinating world and worldbuilding, with a particularly interesting religion.
Ode to Kirihito - Yes I am going to add a comic onto this list. The story sticks with me like few others, and I think about it surprisingly often despite not re-reading it for a while. To date one of my favorite works by Osamu Tezuka.
✨Top 5✨

do you want some company ? (from Phoenix)
meme: questioning minds status: accepting (from mutuals)
She had not expected anyone to realise she had left the room. Had not expected anyone to want to follow her. Meg was used to being ignored or belittled - her family never quite understood her, and though her relationships with her mother and sisters was improving, the many years of neglect and isolation left it's mark. She started slightly, staring at the other woman a beat too long before she nodded. "Yeah. Company would be nice." A self-deprecating smile crossed her face. "Can't promise to be a good one though."
