As we walked away from the sound of the water and came to a quieter section I noticed that Rema, who is an anthropologist, was scanning the horizon. When I asked her if she was looking out for settlers she said she wasn't. She was missing the Bedouins whom she used to meet and chat with on walks in this area. She knew a lot about the kind of life they led in this canyon, where they had grazed their sheep for years. Now they had been chased away by the Israeli authorities. 'It is as though the life had been sapped out of these hills,' she said. Most accounts by travellers who have walked in this area describe how they were struck by the bareness of the hills surrounding the lush valley and the preponderance of the Bedouin shepherds roaming them. Now only the bareness remained.

I thought of the absent Bedouins as I walked. Theirs was a different vision of the land. They saw it as an integral whole. In the summer they pitched their tents over high ground where it was cool, and in winter they descended to the Ghor to reduce the likelihood of their newborn goats and sheep dying from the cold. In a country where there has been such a scramble over land they hardly ever bothered to register any in their name. How could they when they didn't concieve of it as divisible plots?"

I have scheduled 4 readings so far. But there are many, I beg for your patience. Some have come in as asks. I won't be replying to the asks, because that might reveal who you are. When you are selected from the asks, provided I can see who you are, I will send you a DM with your reading number so that when I post it on my timeline you will be able to identify it as yours. heyy pile one. so the people from your past see you as someone who is extremely attractive, nurturing, creative, and divine. although some people from your past may feel like it's unfair that you have these aspects to you, maybe because of something you did in the past that they think wasn't right. but, remember, these people are from your past so they didn't get to see your growth mentally, spiritually nor physically. some of the people in your past are very jealous that you're in this energy and they could possibly be wishing bad luck on you, but i'm seeing that all of this energy is being sent right back to them. they may think that wishing on your downfall is going to work, when in reality they're literally ruining everything they are trying to accomplish by doing this. i feel like you may have a few past connections that didn't get very far because you realized they were not aligned with you so you ghosted them pretty early in the connection; these could be the people who are wishing bad on you. these people are definitely in a one-sided competition with you, pile one. i feel like you rarely even think about these people and when you do, you may even wish good for them?? you're not the type to sit there and pray on people's downfall because you understand karma and you just know that some people are kind-hearted and some people are not so you don't spend too much time worrying about it. if these people are trying to do any type of magick on you or sending you evil eye, it is literally reflecting right back to themselves and causing them to look deeply within themselves. this may be very triggering to some of them, which could intensify their negative emotions towards you. but this is all due to you being the empress and shining so brightly and having such a loving and beautiful energy within you, so do not worry about this, pile one. just do what you need to do for protection and let karma handle the rest. i'm sorry that this was so negative lol. you guys must be some high-value people in their eyes.

hiiii pile two. so, some people from your past may think that you are currently in hiding because you are releasing some sort of fear that you once had. they could think that you're taking time to yourself because you're currently confused in a situation, and that you're receiving bad luck?? but i also get the feeling that these people from your past have little to no access to you at all so they're not sure what to think, so it's a whole bunch of assuming based off what they knew about you from back then. some of these people from your past feel as though you're currently taking a break from someone/something, possibly social media and your creative endeavors. a lot of them wonder what you're doing since you seem to be a mystery to them, and they even wonder how is it that you don't talk about your every move like they possibly do lol. wow, okay now i'm getting a totally different energy. so, people are really confused and have absolutely no clue what to think of you right now, pile two. there's one group of people who think you've taken your energy back because you're possibly sad, confused, stuck and having back luck, but a whole other group of people think that you're currently going through a lot of self-love, celebration, harmony, fulfillment and working for/on yourself. people honestly don't know what to expect from you and they cannot wait to see how you're doing whenever you allow them access (if you ever do.) these people are really nosy and make a lot of assumptions, but the fact that they have no clue what you're doing is very alluring and mysterious to them and i can see them frequently checking your social media pages or asking mutual friends about you. if there are any people from your past who do have some sort of access to your energy, they do see you as someone who is working on themselves and achieving self-love and independence and they really admire you for this. they could've seen you at a time where you were less than happy about life in general, but now they see something totally different and they're very happy for you!

how are you, pile three? so, people from your past think that you are someone who is currently working on themselves (much like pile two) but this could trigger them to want to give you an emotional offer, but i don't think this offer would be of any interest to you, pile three. even if you were to be interested, i just don't think they'd have what it takes to fulfill you emotionally nor mentally. they just want to offer you something because they see the growth and determination you have to achieve more than you already have. a lot of people from your past are extremely curious about you and what you have going on creatively and emotionally. they want to know who you're dating, who you're friends with, what family members you still talk to and so on. these people see you as someone with a lot of strength, possibly because of something that could've happened to you in the past that hurt you, or just the energy you used to be in. these people from your past are not used to seeing this version of you and it's really intimidating, but also really exciting to them. i feel like only the confident ones would have the guts to reach out and offer you something; most of them are too scared to initiate conversation because they feel like you'd ignore their message and possibly even make fun of them (these could be people who bullied you and/or rejected you in the past.) oh, yeah these people definitely see the potential you have to finish all of your projects and goals. people from your past think that you are very content with what you have and that you do not need their energy like you once did. they also think that you are someone who is financially independent and that you're hard-working and well off! they also feel like you are very balanced when it comes to your daily activities and you know when to rest and when to take action, which could be difficult for some of these people to do.
