I think it’s weird that since I’m openly psychotic, people think it’s okay to ask me really disturbing questions or just straight up randomly question if things actually happened to me, just because they’re not convenient to deal with. I’ve had people ask me shit like, “How do you know everything that annoys you isn’t just some sort of hallucination” or “But since you know you’re psychotic, how do you know anything is real now?” or deny people said bigoted things to me because “I don’t really know how to trust that what you said happened actually happened. How do you even know it actually happened?” and shit like that. 

Like. It’s actually really exhausting. Firstly, I’m actually genuinely terrified of shit like that, so that’s like staring at one of my biggest insecurities and drop-kicking it. Secondly, where the fuck do people get off asking those types of questions? Like, I maybe understand wondering how I tell the difference between what’s just my brain and what’s not but constantly using my psychosis as an excuse not to believe some people are bigoted assholes, or asking really awful invasive questions about my psychosis is just. Not it. Or making jokes about how I’m probably delusional randomly, about little shit-Like, that’s not funny either. Maybe if it were a running gag with a close friend, okay, but otherwise? No. 

I dunno. I’ve been treated like shit for my psychosis for a long time. People’ve called me a psycho, told me I’m psychotic, asked me “how’s the psychosis going” for years before I actually got diagnosed and we realized I actually had psychosis but its a whole nother thing with people knowing I am psychotic and I do hallucinate, I do have delusions, I do hear things, ect, ect. 

And it’s not like I hide it either, I talk very openly about it because I refuse not to anymore, which doesn’t help, because it means they do know more actual details about my condition. It feels better to know what’s going on, to be dealing with it, to be living with it but I hate the way people treat me. It’s so fucked. 

They say “Kill them with kindness”, but some people just deserve to live loonng miserable lives.

Any excuse to draw derpy cats is good for me, so here I made these! All will probably be destroyed by my cats, but this is the cycle of life.

I find it interesting how so many people celebrate Queen Elizabeth's death, naming her a racist, bigoted, colonising, murderer, etc when she was not actually responsible, or even had a say, in the majority of devastating world and personal events that happened during her reign.

As someone who has intensely studied the monarchy, and yes coincidentally, I'm not promonachist so don't come at me 🙄; her authority and power to practically influence the political events in countries she was queen over was incredibly minimal. I.e. New Zealand and Australia specifically as an example

I also find it interesting that the same people who scream and shout over the fact she was a figurehead and therefore useless and should be thrown out: are also the ones that have now turned around and are just as hysterical over her alleged inaction.

I should also add that we must not forget that she was also a highly flawed, highly normal, human being. She made very bad mistakes. She admitted her mistakes, especially in the case of her family. We have this unspoken assumption in especially the western world today that any ruler or public figure, whether they be a monarch or celebrity, has to live up to Our expectation - either providing us with endless drama and hype and terrible life decisions, or being endlessly perfect. Otherwise somehow we feel entitled to scream hate at them.

I've watched this especially in recent years- John Mulaney comes to mind.

Anyway, I guess my final take is maybe stop projecting our pain onto people and actually do research before we form opinions. Oh and also stop calling people bigoted for other peoples actions, that'd be great.

People shit on Tumblr but this has been what I've seen for years now:

Tumblr: "This is my favorite character/show, I made some art and writing for them, I love them and appreciate them. Most people who don't like this subject leave us alone and we can all be happy in our own little niches."

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit: "FUCK THIS FUCK THAT THIS CHARACTER SUCKS I WILL ACTIVELY SPEND MY TIME SEEKING OUT PEOPLE WHO LIKE THIS SHOW TO HATE ON THEM. I SHIP THIS SHIP AND SOMEONE ELSE SHIPS THESE CHARACTERS WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE SO THEY MUST DIE! THIS CHARACTER IS WEAK, NO DIFF KILLED BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH-"

And yeah, so on and so on.

Maybe I just haven't run into it that much, but there seems to be a lot less toxicity on Tumblr, and when it does occur it's also in its own little bubble.

Rant and MHA 362 Spoiler Warning

I can’t fucking stand people on Twitter. Fucking bullying people who like Bakugou and who are devastated with 362. Now I can respect your decision if you don’t like him but bullying others and laughing at their pain is where I draw the line. I, myself, a Bakugou Stan; that boy means so much to me. He’s been my favorite since I started the series when I was 15. I’m heartbroken and I can’t stand to lose this boy. He’s been one character I’ve ever really connected to: anger issues, insecurity, striving to be the best, and etc.. So to the fucking twitter assholes, he may be just a character but sometimes that character is the best thing to happen to someone and means so much to that person. He becomes apart of us and it’s like a piece of us is being ripped away. If Katsuki dies, it’s going to be like loosing someone close to me. But that’s nothing you could understand. So shut the fuck up, leave people alone, and go fuck yourselves.
