1447 -1448 years of the first reign of the voivode and ruler Vlad Draguli Tepes III. A mysterious letter dated August 8, 1447, where it is written " Io, voivode Vlad, son of the great and good Christian Vlad voivode...". It was already mentioned earlier that historians raised and left open the question that the voivode Tepes could have been in Wallachia as early as August 8, 1447. The basis for such assumptions was one letter from the collection of documents collected by Brancoveanu. The letter of "Lord Vlad the son of Vlad the voivode" dated August 8, 1447 " (!) in the collection "Documentele Tării Româneşti. Volumul 1 Documente interne (1369-1490)". The letter is presented in the collections only in translation into Romanian. And it would be possible to refer to the wrong date if it was not clearly spelled out in the letter itself. In search of its original version, it is worth finding the publication "Divane domneşti din Muntenia din secolul al XV-lea / G. D. Florescu, or Teodor Codrescu (1993)" . The strange thing is that the boyars listed in the letter (jup. Tudorji jup. Nanul și jup. Stanciul și jup. Pashale și jup. Radul Borcea și jup. Dumitru spatar i Stoica vist i Seman stolnic i Badea Comisittefan logofăt), namely the subjects of Vlad Dragul, the father of Vladfdraguli Tepes. And what is even more interesting is that they appeared in such a composition in the letters of Dragul in 1437. If we compare, the names of the boyars coincide in 1437, and in 1439, and in 1441. In the letters of 1437, from 6 to 8 names coincide, here Tudor, Nanul, Stanchiul, Mircea's brother, and Nan Pascal, and Radul Borchev, and Dimitru Spatar, Stoika Wisternik, Semyon Stolnik, Badeya komis and Stefan logofet, and most of all coincidences occur in the summer time. That is why there is an assumption that the date is erroneous, not 1446 or 1447, but 1437. The question remains only in the phrase present in the translation of the letter "fecorul marelui si prea bunului creștin Vladu voevod" or in general - Vlad the son of Vlad voevod. It would be possible to assume that it is just a few errors in the documents at once. The letter, translated in 1728: ENG: "I Vladul voevod, lord of the Romanian Country, the heir of the great and too good Christian Vladu voevod, have given orders to his servants, his lordship, to cut-in-ribs and Stan and Colții and his sons, as much as God will give them, to be their homestead in the village of Coteana with all the land, because it is their old and just homestead. And afterwards came Tae-in-the-basket and Stan and Coltsey, the two of them, before his lords, and they made a brotherhood of all the food and beasts and the land and the Gypsies and all the land, so that they might know that they were three brothers, not separated, and so they agreed of their own free will and they knew the land: From Piscul Lungu, to the valley of Cornățelului and to the lake of Fătăciunii and to the great mountain and to the lake of Ștefariului and to Scovarda in the valley of Săcărenilor and to Poiana Târgului and to the lake of de miezu and up to the Topolog path and up to the Ogrezele and up to the Slatinii road and up to the stream crossings and up to Piscu Urdii and over the Mălovean river and up to the Olt hill. So that they may be their refuge, and in another way not be prest the said dominion. And his Lordship's testimony: jup. Tudor and jup. Nanul and jup. The lefty and jup. Pashale and jup. Radul Borcea and jup. Dumitru spatar i Stoica vist i Seman stolnic i Badea comis Ștefan logofăt. In Targoviste, Aug. 8 dni, 6955. Translation on verso".
Dumitru spatar i Stoica vist i Seman stolnic i Badea comis Ștefan logofăt. În Tărgoviște, Aug. 8 dni, 6955. Traducere pe verso". ___ That is why G. Florescu in his work "Divanele domneşti din Ţara Românească. I " simply omitted the whole part of the letter from documents Brancovanu and attributed the letter to the letters of voivode Vlad Dracula of August 8, 1437, which explained in his commentary, saying that the translation made in 17-18 centuries (marked in Florescu both 17 and 18), may have made mistakes in dates and wording, which allowed him to correct and edit it, as Panaitescu. Professor Andreescu does not agree that not only the date of the document can be corrected to fit the existing version of history, but whole phrases can be simply thrown out of the document, being sure that the phrase "Io, voivode Vlad, son of the great and good Christian Vlad the voivode... "could not suddenly appear from the ceiling in the translation (he gives the exact date) of 1728 from the" son of voivode Mircha ", in support of his theory he gives a comparison of the names and dates of boyars, and letters of Draguli and voivode Tepes, comparing wording, and facts from other documents, confirming the possibility of the beginning of Vlad Draguli Tepes in 1447. Which is discussed further in the article.
