so, i’m a terribly awful Swiftie for saying this but I despise DEBUT 💚 I really am. I couldn’t decide which song is my least favourite in reverse of situation when trying to choose fave one, so i figured the track I tolerate is A Place in This World. And the rest of the album is on the other side, I’m sorry 😅
Fearless 💛 This album is much more likeable! I like: Fearless, Love Story, You Belong with Me, The Way I Love You, Untouchable, Don’t You, Mr. Perfectly Fine! Those are bops, sometimes sad nevertheless I like them a lot! See? I redeemed myself 😂 Now to the next part! I’m not the biggest fan of Superstar and White Horse 🫢 These are not clicking with me 🙁
Speak Now 💜 I must say this album grew on me a loooot, A LOT! I look at it in a different way than I used to be, and now it’s one of my faves 😄 Speak Now the song defender ok? I like all of the songs beside… Last Kiss… I know, ok, I KNOW. May I choose the date of crucification? And Ours and Superman, I feel those two were fillers of the album Taylor needed at the time 😕
RED ❤️ Alright, this one will be super tough, because it is a really, really good album and it deserves the Grammy of course! 🥹❤️ State of Grace, Red, Treacherous, ATW (10min version), The Last Time, Holy Ground, Lucky One, Sad Beautiful Tragic, IBYTAM, Nothing New and Forever Winter are the most magical part of this album for me 🤧 The least… well, I’m not that much of a supporter of Ed Sheeran’s feat. on this album, so Everything Has Changed and Run duo is a no. Also that remix of Girl At Home, no, thank you. Stay Stay Stay it’s just meh I guess? 😅😅

This one, I love memories occurring when I think of days when this one was released 🥹 I definitely like Ready For It, Delicate, Don’t Blame Me, LWYMMD, IDSB, Getaway Car, I would like KoMH more if it was more rock-ish? And CIWYWI 🖤 The least: So It Goes, DWOHT, End Game, TIWWCHNT 🤓 This album is legendary, right, but now I see some cringe about it?
Lover 🩷 My fave is definitely the title track, Lover! It’s such a sweet pop ballad ✨ Next ones are: The Archer, Cruel Summer, DBTC, Paper Rings - silly cute song 😌 Cornelia Street, London Boy (shut up, Pops 😂❤️), False God, the saxophone okaaay? And Daylight! The least fave are Afterglow 🫢, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince 😅 It’s a solid album, fun, important album in Taylor’s career and I will defend it forever ✨

LMAOOO it's been a minute since HOTSHOT did anything tbh but there are things I can remember. tbh I won't blame it all on the ceo bc it was the company as a whole, so which I can say is that even if he's (allegedly) a good ceo now he def wasn't back then bc he sure wasn't running this company well at all
[GOOD] like okaaay I know the company was dirt poor, having a pre-debut webtoon being published as a backstory for their debut was a cool move, and having it as the photobook for their debut album was kinda smart and cute
[BAD] they only did that bc they caught Timo and Taehyun reading webtoons while they should have been practicing so as an excuse they said "oh well these are very popular these days!" so the staff went "we could make one of these then" like it wasn't even their idea!!!
[GOOD] HOTSHOT got kiiinda popular while posting videos predebut and that's why they were able to have a predebut fanmeeting
[BAD] these videos were only posted because HOTSHOT went out of their way to post them without the company knowing. the company didn't want them to show themselves in any way so they got frustrated and did it themselves. after seeing the positive reactions, they decided to let them keep posting them
[VERY BAD] I will never forget that one time, after one of the multiple very long hiatus, HOTSHOT got booked for a small gerilla concert. BUT, the staff forgot to post in ANYWHERE no fancafe, no twitter no nothing until like, a few hours before the concert took place so only like 3 hotples showed up. and like we hotples were in the trenches okay the 12 of us. one of the few ones who made it there was a Timo stan from japan. like bestie hopped on a plane and made it there barely in time. I was very active in the fancafe at the time and many hotples were so mad bc if only they had known with time they could have gotten days off to go, buy a train ticket, etc. still the boys went on the fancafe and said they were happy fans could be there at all.
[THE WORST!!] the company's poor management of HOTSHOT and Sungwoon somehow made people believe Sungwoon is a backstabbing bitch like any of you can name any HOTSHOT members aside from him and like you know anything else about them apart from having JELLY on your "nugu bops" spotify playlist like you all should stfu!!!!
[BONUS] an iconic hotple (Danbi, who just became a mom so congrats!!) went on a show were the topic was "making dreams come true" and her wish was to help make HOTSHOT more popular. this wasn't a nugu show btw it got Lizzy and that Jo Seho dude in it as hosts like she was making more for the company that the staff!!! and a lot of people went to their small gerilla concert during the show and they were never able to get anything from that.
like you got Ha Sungwoon in your group if you are not managing to pull strings is because you are not trying. Yoonsan gave up an internship at Channel in Paris to debut in your group. come on.

Three ships: Man, I’m not really much of a shipper—LIKE. I do have plenty of ships I think are cute enough in passing, or make for pretty fanart, but it’s a rare few that I’d actually go to bat on, y’know? I’m more about friendship and found family, so I struggled to come up with a third one here. But after giving it some thought...! Shikamaru/Temari (Naruto). This was the pairing that defined OTP for me for a while, and what can I say? I picked the best horse in that fandom’s ship war, and won it. Next would be Shirou/Rin (the Fate/ franchise). This pairing actually IS the one I’ll fight people on, their chemistry is amazing and the amount of trust they find for each other in every route of the game—even the ones where Rin isn’t the heroine—just moves me. They make each other happier, healthier people; this is my gold standard for any pairing. And last is Franky/Robin (One Piece). I wouldn’t say I’m as passionate about this one as the last two, but it just makes sense to me? It’s basically canon? Who are all these people shipping Robin with Zoro and Law these days, and have they even watched the series?? I’m so confused.
First ever ship: I had to think about it, but I’m pretty sure it’s Tom Paris and B’Elanna Torres from Star Trek: Voyager! I was a kid, and we watched the show every week with my stepdad, and I thought they were the best.
Last song: Roll Up by The Struts. It’s such a bop, and I wish I were an editor because there’s so many shows I dream of setting an AMV of it to.
Last movie: Avatar: The Way of Water. It was alright, but I think Glass Onion (which I saw the day before it) was better.
Currently reading: God I feel like I haven’t read anything in forever, I’ve been so busy with holidays and work the past few months. I have my email open to like thirty fic update notices, though (most of them ROTTMNT fic), and I’m starting with a lovely one called Steady Now. I plan to add it to my fic rec list whenever I get to updating it.
Currently watching: A lot. Like a lot, a lot. My boyfriend and I tend to watch 10-15 shows that come out with each new anime season, so all of those. If I had to pick a favorite of all of those, though? It’s got to be To Your Eternity, which is partway through its second season. I was hooked from the first episode (which made me cry like a baby, sob).
Currently consuming: Chocolate truffles. They were a Christmas present!
Currently craving: Power, because I’m no longer baby. :c

They went to the Grammys.
They put themselves first for once and they did things on their own strength. They out there so respectful and humble.
Jhope - His album and live performances this year has made me so happy. The man has been killing it. He went to a new country and performed by himself. He did so well. I honestly couldn't look away at any point because I was scared I'd miss something amazing. He continues to be humble and supports all his fellow members. Rush Hour was amazing collab and I loved how he is a celebrity of celebrities.
RM- He is the one that made me the most emotional this year. The Festa lunch broke me. His album is comfort personified. I think he does an amazing job as a leader. He always makes sure the team comes first sometimes at his own comfort. Sexy Nukim is such an amazing song and to hear legends from both the Korean and Western Industries speak about him in such high regard makes me so warm inside.
Jimin- Jiminie is 1/3 of my bias line. He will always have my heart. To see all these producers and singers excited to work with him makes me so happy. I just know his album is going to be bop after bop. I can't wait to see what has in store. He continues to be the sweetest. He always hypes up his fellow members and the fans. This year, his OST release blew my mind. With you makes me sob uncontrollably and I am so proud of him always. Can't wait for his album.
jungkook-Where do I even begin with this one? He is so humble. The man performed at FIFA. Which is one of the biggest things any artist can do. AND HE PUT HIS WHOLE BEING INTO THE PERFORMANCE TO COME OFF AND SAY HE COULD HAVE DONE BETTER. MY MAN. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. SIR???? Also, every song he puts out is just a bop. No questions asked. The man has outsold every step of his career. Watching all his Hyung proud of him really warmed my heart. He continues to be such a excellent person. ILOVEHIM. Taehyung- Tae at Paris living his life brings me such joy. He continues to be such a cute human. At every concert, the way he was so considerate and kind. All while being one of the most sorted after idols on Instagram, in the fashion world, and on social media in general. Every time he posted a picture on Instagram I have to remind myself that I shouldn't be delulu. Also, the man leaked the Run BTS rehearsal. He's an utter legend. I hop next year, he gets to show us his music and his acting. I am loving Chpater 2 Taehyung so far. Despite all the shit he has been through this year, he still always has a smile on his face for us. An Angel. He is 1/3 of my bias and owns all of my heart.
Yoongi- Sir has me in a chokehold since March. He has had me in a chokehold since I started stanning BTS. He is my bias for a reason. This year I have been really amazed by him. From producing one of the best K-pop songs to having a legend absolutely whipped for him to becoming a Grammy-nominated writer. I hope he gets what he wants. It's going to be so hard for me to see him go. But I am so glad he is thriving. 2022 was really his year. As a producer, musician, sports lover, and person. He deserves all the hype and recognition. He works so hard and can't wait for his show Suchwita and what this chapter holds for him. He's so cute in all the RUN BTS episodes. Every time I see a clip of him, it makes my day 100 times better. Every time he posts on Instagram with his long hair I lose a couple years of my life.
Jin: I am absolutely shattered about losing Jin. I am so worried about him. I hope he is safe. He has the biggest heart. The way he stayed till the winter for army. The way he is leaving us with so much content and comfort. I hope he gets to come back on his own terms and blow us away with his album. His friendship with Coldplay, his bluntness with senior Korean celebrities who have treated them like shit, and his patience with army. They are so commendable. It breaks my heart every time I think of Jin and all that he does. His voice is absolutely beautiful. Awake and Epiphany are two of my favorite BTS songs. I hate that we have to let him go. Especially since he had most of the brunt of the debate and the hate that came with it. I just hope he knows we love him and I can't wait for him to come back. FIGHTING JIN. You will be back very soon.

My first thoughts on Midnights, track by track ✨
1. Lavender Haze: a BOP that should stay ON my desk at all times.
2. Maroon: a f*** legacy of a song, False God’s baby sister but also older sister I can’t explain it.
3. Anti-hero: the story of my life, but also an actual metaphorical masterpiece.
4. Snow on the beach: capturing emotions in the dreamiest way ever.
5. You’re on your own, kid: “from sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes” need I say more?? the bridge??? A poetic and lyrical winner, you’re gonna go far, kid.
6. Midnight rain: this is eternally stuck in my head, glazed with mystical, sparkly, addictive catchiness.
7. Question…?: I question if I will ever fully discover all the genius metaphorical layers in this song.
8. Vigilante sh*t: slow burningly hot and revengeful in the coolest way.
9. Bejeweled: sass meets edginess meets confidence, all in one song.
10. Labyrinth: vulnerability at its core BUT with a confident beat, the perfect balance.
11. Karma: a true glitter gel pen song defined
12. Sweet Nothing: the sincere message that “all you need is love” combined the most soothing melody. sooo cute!
13. Mastermind: the intro had me instantly hooked, Taylor truly is a mastermind but also a magician, I speak facts only.
14. The Great War: Taylor is an amazing storyteller, and this proves that so beautifully.
15. Bigger Than The Whole Sky: cannot listen without crying, loss put into honest words making anyone who can relate feel a little bit less alone.
16. Paris: another glitter gel pen song but make it French. Je l’aime!
17. High Infidelity: a poem (Taylor is my favorite poet) put into a song that makes me wonder what happened April 29th.
18. Glitch: the sound and vibe in this one are stitched into my brain and I’m not complaining.
19. Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve: brutal, brutal, brutal, brutal!!! with the waviest stuck-to-my-mind refrain.

Thoughts on Midnights 3am additions - first listen!
The Great War:
Love the marching drum beat, “my hand was the one you reached for all throughout the Great War” damn that’s cute, a bop ngl.
Bigger Than The Whole Sky:
“Every single thing I touch becomes sick with sadness” okay it’s one of those is it, oh no this is like ronan isn’t it, break my heart why don’t you.
Paris:
I may be wrong but this sounds like this love is like an escape from the shallow and parasitic tendencies of media? I’ll have to relisten to be sure but it’s a cool concept.
High Infidelity:
Beeps and boops lmao, damn this song really is what it says on the tin, “there’s many different ways you can kill the one you love … never loving them enough” idk the exact lyrics but oof ouch.
Glitch:
Ooh this is interesting, bLOOD MOON, this is another one that reminds me of dodie, like the ebbing and flowing background vocals and the sort of non-standard noises, maybe a cross between dodie and billie eilish, not my fave really tbh.
Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve:
Ooh it’s building I sure hope it resolves, meh I’d have liked it if it came to a bit more there, I almost wish this song were in like a pop punk style, all in all a bop, ooh nice fade of the strings there.
Dear Reader:
“Bend when you can, snap when you have to” good advice tbf, there’s a lot of obvious auto tune and voice effects in this which is fine but I think I prefer when it’s more her real voice
All in all, I think I prefer the songs from the main album but that could change as, again, this album as a whole grows on you rather than falling in love immediately

Overall, I love it, I love it, I love it! Very lyric styles of folklore and evermore meets the sounds of Lover and Rep!
Lavender Haze:
-Okay this is the pop music standard
-the lyric “one night or a wife” so true
-we are back in bridge city
Maroon:
-sick New York reference
-bopping chorus
-“so scarlet it was maroon” very Wanda
-“carnations you thought were roses, that’s us” JESUS CHRIST

Anti-Hero:
-this is for the archer girlies
