contradoxum: a gender that contradicts itself and feels like a paradox
[pt: contradoxum: a gender that contradicts itself and feels like a paradox. end pt]
for anon! i took the paradoxigender flag and inverted the colors, then adjusted all six colors to flow better, and added black and white in the center to further emphasize the contradiction. the term is 'contrad' from 'contadict' + 'doxum' from 'paradoxum', latin for 'paradox'!
flag id: a flag with 8 stripes, with the fourth and fifth being half the size of the rest. in order, they are blue, dark faded blue, very dark teal, black, white, very light pink-red, golden yellow, and orange. end id.
banner id: a 1600x200 teal banner with the words ‘please read my dni before interacting. those on my / dni may still use my terms, so do not recoin them.’ in large white text in the center. the text takes up two lines, split at the slash. end id.

heyo ! i hope you havent been asked this before its gotta be annoying answering the same thing over and over. (^^ゞ
but i was wondering are there any genders/pronouns defined as being “paradoxical” like existing and not existing simultaneously?
i ask because i feel as the i am a effeminate masculine identifying non-binary person but im also attracted to identities like agender and gendervoid like my gender exists and also does not.
tysm for reading ! :) hope you can help me out no pressure tho(^ヮ^)
there are several paradox related genders:
genderdox and schrodigender fit the bill, but tend to refer to multigender/agender identities, so that may not be what you're looking for
paradoxarian might be something to look into. it's a xenic alignment rather than a gender in and of itself, so it would help you describe your gender without being a gender in and of itself (so your genders "feels like a paradox" not it "is/is related to paradoxes")
paradoxigender is the broadest on this list. it just describes a gender that had paradoxical qualities.
hope this helps!

Okay so. I'm AFAB and I've been questioning my gender for a WHILE and I just can't seem to find a fitting label.
Thing is. Usually, I just feel like a guy. Like. Vaguely male. I call myself a guy and I'm pretty sure I am one. HOWEVER. That only applies when I don't think about my gender too much. When I DO try to put a finger on how my gender feels. I just can't seem to figure it out. It's clear as day when I don't pay much mind to it, but the moment I try to figure it out, it becomes blurry as hell. I know I'm not a girl (or at least more guy than girl) but it also feels kinda. In-between? But also neither at the same time. It's kinda hard to describe but it feels like I'm everything and nothing all at once and it all blurs together incomprehensibly.
Check out quoigender, schrodigender, paradoxigender, or mutogender.

Puppykitgender
describes those whose gender relates to both cats and dogs, but leans towards dogs
Puppykitgender Flag:
Tumblr media
This is the dog-leaning equivalent of kittypupgender. It’s a combination of pupgender and catgender, and describes someone whose gender has an extremely strong connection to both cats and dogs, or someone whose gender is fluid between its connection to cats and dogs, while mostly being connected to dogs. One might feel entirely pupgender while still relating to cats in a substantial way. Alternatively, one might feel pupgender and only partially catgender. Puppykitgender can be described as graceful yet playful, quiet yet energetic, confident yet small, etc. Depending on the qualities of one's gender, one might also identify as paradoxigender.

Paradoxgender Pride Flag
Tumblr media
[Image: a 7-striped horizontal flag with stripes in descending order: black, dark grey, grey, white, light pink, light orange, light yellow.]
Paradoxgender: feeling as if you’re all the genders you could possibly be, but none at the same time. It’s impossible to explain, so is therefore a paradox, and unique with everyone who uses it.
Similar to schrodipangender/panschrodigender, pangenderdox/pandox, pxngender/apangender and paradoxigender.

i thought i was cis but now i’m having some doubts.. but i know for a fact i’m not nonbinary or trans either. i recently came across the term ‘schrodigender’ and it’s interesting, i’m just not sure if it’s for me
i wouldn’t call myself gender apathetic, it’s more like.. instead of being ‘!! yes i am [AGAB]!!!’ it’s more like ‘ye i’m [AGAB] :3’ but at the same time my assigned gender and pronouns are what speak to me the most and i wouldn’t want anything changed?
i guess i’m worried i’m overthinking this and have it in my head that people with a gender have this very very strong sense of Gender and not just like ‘yea it’s a thing that’s there :)’
am i overthinking? am i cis? what does gender feel like for those with a full gender?
(and if there are any schrodigenders reading this, what does your gender feel like?)
hey anon!!
here's a collection of cis experiences that might help you
if you think schrödigender doesn't feel exactly right you could check out genderdox, paradoxigender or quoigender.
If you feel like mostly your agab, you might be demigender, paragender, offgender, perigender, or circa-binary (there's a few other interesting identities on that page).
Hope that helps, anyone feel free to add on (esp schrödigender people)

I coined a gender; Paradoxgender or Paradox for short. It’s where you feel as if you’re all the genders, but none at the same time. It’s impossible to explain. That’s why I refer to it as a paradox. It’s unique with everyone who uses it. I wanted to make my own flag, but I had no idea where to start. Is it possible that you could make a flag for me? It’s fine if you don’t want to! I was just curious.
Well, there’s already Paradoxigender and Genderdox, but the name and gender description do sound different enough to warrant separate terminology and flag, since they are:
Paridoxigender: A gender that has qualities that paradox itself. For example feeling agender but masculine or feminine, or feeling like a gender but not like that gender at the same time.
Genderdox: Multiple genders and nothing/genderless at the same time summed up into one, as if a paradox.
Since Paradoxgender specifies being all genders (you could possibly be) and none at the same time, while Genderdox says its only many genders (so not necessarily all) and Paradoxigender just says masculine or feminine.
So I’ll go ahead and add it to the request list. :)
