A papercraft commission of Zelda from Breath of the Wild/Age of Calamity, featured here with the Bow of Light! I had enormous fun cutting out both her swirling hair and the swirling shapes of the bow's decoration - extra-detailed shapes like that take a long time, but the end result is very satisfying. ^_^ And, of course, I'm always excited to make Legend of Zelda art!

fox wycinanki! at last!!
so here’s the finished papercraft, completely cut out using scissors like traditional Polish wycinanki.
[ID: a bright papercraft piece against a solid black background, with a leaping orange fox in the middle. under it is a large centered blue flower, with tendrils of leaves and other colorful flowers wrapping around and up either side, in mirror image, ending with two orange and yellow flowers above the fox. end ID]

Reposting my grimoire because the first picture didn’t do it justice. Love this one so much! And absolutely adore the versatility of paper.

[image ID: a papercutting of Eddie Kingston. it is a portrait in three quarters view. Kingston looks to the left with a neutral expression, his left hand raised before his face. heavy shadows obscure the details of his eyes and of the right part of his face. the cutting is glued on a red piece of paper, which gives colour to the contours. /.End ID]

The owner of yesterday's cello. I think he plays something very classic, Bach maybe. The last few days I have spent so many time with him and bonded with this character. I still don't know his name, but maybe in future he will tell me.

Two Howl (and Calcifer) papercrafts! I've made Howl a number of times now, and I approach him a little differently every time to try to get better and faster. What's the most efficient work process? What's the most harmonious pattern combination? Will I ever stop forgetting the tiny teardrop jewels on his necklace and earring and having to go back in at the last second to add them?? (no)
But he's always so much fun to make! The movie is gorgeous and the book is a longtime favorite of mine, so whenever I make him I have a lovely time putting on the HMC soundtrack and working steadily until I have a tiny, beautifully patterned wizard in my hands. (Or two tiny beautifully patterned wizards, in this case.)
