hey folks. quick interest check.
i am currently taking an intro to diversity class! it's super interesting and i love how much i'm learning, but because it's asynchronous i actually. have not been able to get myself to read a lot of these papers that we're given. but i still want access to this info! so. i'm gonna download all of them into one nice file (which i will likely have to zip but yanno) so i can read them at my own pace. my question to you is as follows:

i'm going to reward myself for doing one project on time by doing another project that i've been neglecting
#i have like. a 10 page paper i haven't even made a thesis for. oops#and a 5-10 page paper on a personality disorder which i have yet to choose or start#but i'm feelin obsessive compulsive. maybe. or narcissistic#idk personality disorders are hard to choose bc i don't really trust them as a diagnostic tool#well. kinda#there's so much overlap and confusion in the dsm that i don't think they're understood enough and that#the lines drawn between them are the best way to separate them#it's a whole thing but whatever i'll just pick whichever speaks to me#and oh fuck i have a fucking wrongful convictions final paper that i totally forgor about lmao#damnnnnn i have shit to do#and they're still assigning busywork. by they i mean my art history professor who wants us all dead. she's assigning weekly papers till#the final day. why. they're like. 3 pages minimum and i know she has too many classes to be reading/grading that many#she's still weeks behind. why do you do this to yourself? why do you do this to us?#ugh. i shouldn't have taken italian renaissance this semester but i was made for bad impulsive choices#anyway. i will be sharing my presentation with you all later. it's gorgeous i prommy#she took 10 minutes to load in the assignment dropbox#that's how you know she's good :)

If you feel like just winging it, heres the front and back of the full model, if you want to figure it out
Heres my basic recommendations
Don't just use one glue -
I used glue stick for sticking the paper to the card, regular PVA/craft glue for sticking the cardboard to itself and hot glue for sticking the legs and head on. but if you can figure out how to do it without hot glue, more power to ya.
Use a sharp craft knife -
it is possible to use scissors for the whole thing, but i find it makes it a lot harder to cut out small pieces and it crushes the edges of the cardboard.
Tools are good -
Use clips to hold things together as they dry or place the pieces under a book. Cotton buds also work great for applying small amounts of glue easily if you don't have anything else.
Different card types and papers, the cardboard i used was approx 1mm thick, then layered as needed, but you shouldn't need more than 2 layers.
Weird Extra things - Putting tiny pieces of wire in to hold stuff on, its most likely not necessary for shadow milk due to his collar and hair helping to keep his head on.

Cute little flower headband for your faeries or cottagecore sims, surprisingly lowpoly for this kind of accessory 8D Despite the flowers and leaves being 3D planes instead of meshes, they don't look paper-like, it's really well done!
Has a ton of overlays for the different leaf colors and different masks. I had to collapse some flower colors in the first preset because for it to be 100% accurate and recolorable, it would need to have around 6? 7? channels :P

Leather Sack Lunch: A Historical Override
Another historical override, this time replacing the paper lunch sack with a simple leather bag. It is suitable for wide variety of time periods. Make sure you only have one sack lunch default replacement in game at a time!
Unfortunately, the thumbnails for the sack lunches are located within the thumbnails.package of the GP05 folder. Meaning that the thumbnails in game will still use images of the old paper bag. Which is a huge bummer...
Keep in mind, this mod requires Parenthood.

Posepack Writing
This is an update of an older posepack, and will probably be updated again at some point. Writing poses are always needed.
By default these poses are for Murfeelee’s quill . I also included finger-poses for Pammie's pencil (Studiostargirls; site down, included). These are the codes ending "-p".
Also included is an edit of ts3's writing pen, first converted to accessory by @pickypikachu. I aligned it to be interchangeable with Pammie's pencil. So the variations with "-p" can be used either with the pen or the pencil.
The book in Pose 3 is on a 15° tipsy omsp. The book used in the picture is this one. These poses have new codes, but are otherwise unchanged.
The sheet of paper is by Sunny. It must be placed on an omsp; not only because of slot-compatibility, but also because it must be very close to the surface of the table. By default small decor is hovering quite a bit.
