the dotted circles in this represent our families. The one in the centre is my mum's family (because she painted this one) with her parents and siblings. Each colour in a circle represents a different person. All the circles branching off the one in a centre is each of her siblings families, including the circle of her and her kids (me and my brothers), which is the circle directly under the one in the centre.
I just wanted to share it because it's her first dot painting and I want people to see it. Usually my pop and I did them, but since his passing my mum wanted to try too :)
Also the background is done like that to represent where her father was born, the red desert sands of inland Australia (it's an acrylic pour thingy, my mum's really good at them).
This is another post aimed at the (admittedly small) number of people who follow me who are in eastern PA: I have a craft fair this weekend! Come visit Lansdowne Arts on the Ave on Sunday Oct 1 from 12-6 and you can play with dice in person!
Besides my dice, I’ll have my paint pour art such as this whale piece I’m very hyped about.
And I get to booth share with my wife, who’s an incredible artist!
And of course I couldn’t end without including a dice photo. :)
