Encanto HC
If Pedro were still alive, you know he would be the ring leader of “Bro Night” with Agustín, Félix, and Bruno. He would truly love his sons-in-law as his sons and introduce them as such.
And even if Alma had any doubts about either of them, Pedro would be the one to remind her that their girls are tough like their mother and wouldn’t take any guff from anyone.

Feliz Cumpliaños, Señor Rojas-Madrigal!
It was an odd sensation, the man was usually awoken by one of Antonio's bird friends by now. Or at least by the bright rays of the sun from Pépa's morning romps with Félix. No one is surprised by that anymore. Alas, it seemed with the slow rise and fall of his bare and neatly trimmed chest, that he was still off in slumber; every so often with a twitch or two and a mumble about bee's being everywhere. The poor man was haunted even in his dreams of the creatures, they wouldn't pose such a threat to him if he'd just let Antonio relocate the nests- but he insisted that it was him encroaching on them that caused the stings, they weren't naturally violent things.
That's the kind of man Agustín Wilmer Rojas-Madrigal was.
The morning was peaceful and quiet, very much unlike any other morning. If it weren't the sunrays or the birds waking him- a violent and sudden rapping on the door from his youngest would surely give his not-so-old heart a jolt and wake him up better than the strongest Colombian café. Only thing usual about this morning was the empty side of the bed where Julieta usually slumbered. How he missed the mornings where she'd feel just as lazy as Pépa, and hunker down in his arms. Breathe in his scent, more or less from the night before during throes of passion, that she was so addicted to. Of course, Alma would scold her for those days, but Julieta would always give him a look that read 'worth it'. Before going about her day as normal, just in hyper-speed to make up for lost time lazing.
Slowly peeling his dark hazel eyes open, only to dilate and force his lids shut quickly as a beam of sunlight happened to seep through the closed slats of their window and cascade just over his eyes. There's that sudden rush of adrenaline he was used to in the mornings. If it wasn't one thing- it was another. It was bad enough he couldn't hardly see, sans glasses, but now the sun was trying to take the rest of his sight! Sitting up and rubbing his eyes to get the sun spots out of them from the sudden onslaught of light. He felt around for his glasses to which he heard them fall and clatter to the ground, and with a defeated sigh... he froze. Debating- if he got out of bed to look for them, he would more than likely end up stepping on them, or kicking them under the bed. But, he couldn't just sit in bed waiting for Julieta to come rescue him- she might be out all day with her cart full of arepas and bunellos for the villagers. The conundrum came to a halt when he went to rest on his arm and slipped off the edge of the bed; with a loud thud he came crashing to the ground and turned his head, his glasses laying right next to him.
What luck.
Not ever one to look a gift burro in the culo- he gripped the arms of his glasses and slipped them on, pushing himself up and standing. He swore he'd gone to bed fully clothed- taking note in the vanity mirror at the other side of the room that his shirt was missing and- GASP -his night cap! He knew Julieta hated the damn thing, but it completed his ensemble! He was also painfully aware that sometimes his beautiful wife often would unbutton his night shirt as he slept so she could put her face to his skin- claiming it's far more calming than that itchy fabric of his night shirt. He couldn't argue that it wasn't itchy... but it was comfortable! Aside from the itch.
Looking around suspiciously, there was no sign of Julieta, no sign of Miraboo- no sounds of Camilo and his grandeur over-the-top dramatic rehearsals with Bruno. Nothing at all. He often felt left out of many family ordeals when it came to Madrigal gift-events... and when everyone would leave Casita for their morning jobs, it was always he and Félix left behind to clean Casita... which was a pointless job and they both knew it... because Casita could clean itself! They had once tried to get Mirabel excited about helping around the house like that... before she fixed everything with Alma and brought Bruno back. She was not impressed. Honestly, neither were they as they tried to break it down and make it sound important.
So Agustín decided to get dressed, slipping into his usual dark blue pinstripe slacks with matching vest, long sleeved white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, navy blue tie with brown dress shoes and the peace de la resistance... his mismatched socks and flor on his chest. He figured he didn't have any wood to chop today, nor anything else around Casita to help with, so he'd venture into the surrounding jungle to find that perfect spot where he found the cutest little chamomile flor that he'd present Julieta every time he came to her for healing when they were younger. It'd been a little bit since he'd gotten her one. Usually her apron pockets were weighed down and brimming with the things, but he'd been relatively careful after Bruno returned to live with them... well, he'd supposed he'd always been living WITH them... but returned to being PRESENT.
He opened the bedroom door and immediately was wrapped up in vines and blindfolded by a flower crown- Isabela. "Bellbell-" Agustín spoke quietly, as to not hurt Dolores' ears, not knowing where the quiet girl might be skulking around. "Sí, papa?" His eldest daughter's playful tone made the man's heart melt, he couldn't ever be mad at the kids, even Camilo. It just wasn't in him to be. "The blood is rushing to mí cabeza. Could you let me down, and perhaps explain the ambush?" He asked his daughter in the calmest and sweetest tone. "I can let you down- but I can't explain and you can't take the flower crown off your eyes."
Now that made him raise an eyebrow, usually reserved for flirting with Julieta- his hand was forced when Isabela said something curious. "You can't tell me why you ambushed me?" He was slowly let down from the snare of vines and he stood up, respecting her wishes and leaving the flower crown over his eyes. Even going as far as to adjust it along with the rest of his outfit, once he stood on his feet. "Correct, papa. I promised I'd keep you busy- and can't disclose information or I'll have to suspend you again" She stated with a sly smile "Sorry, papa. Thems the rules." Agustín smiled and shook his head "Camilo's been teaching you strange terms again?" He asked her with a chuckle and Isabela could only giggle along "no this time it was Tío Félix." Agustín should have figured it was Félix's doing- one way or another... it was the yellow team teaching his daughter odd outlandish slang. She lived for it, his little wild child. Ever since Mirabel fixed the miracle, and Alma's let up on being so overpoweringly controlling, Isabela's really come out of her shell with her own wild personality. Honestly reminding Julieta and Agustín of a young Pépa, which was only slightly terrifying.
"Is that pa?"
A voice called up from the dining room just adjacent to la cocina, Isabela soon responding "No. It's Camilo, I have him tied up in case papa comes out." The sound of sarcasm in her voice being evident, "that ain't me!" another voice called up from the dining room and Agustín was certain he heard Isabela roll her eyes. "I was being sarcastic, tontos! Yes it's pa. Who else would it be if Camilo is right next to you, Mirabel?" Ah. That explained the sarcasm. The girls did reconcile their differences long ago... but they still had a sisterly dynamic to where they poked fun at one another often, that would never go away. They'd do it with Luisa too, but the sweet thing was so sensitive, she'd often take things to heart or overthink them- and either end up crying or apologizing. Agustín's gentle giantess.
"Well in my defense he was just Tío Bruno up until you said he was up there with you" Mirabel called back and crossed her arms "Anyway, mom says you can bring him down now" She left to return to la cocina, Camilo attempted to as well, but was immediately booted out by Casita at Julieta's request since they couldn't keep making more things after he over ate them. "I'm on it~" Isabela sing-songed which earned a loud gruff groan from Mirabel in la cocina, and loud smooching noises from Julieta who was now smothering Mirabel with kisses speaking to her between the kisses "you cant smooch always get smooch annoyed with smooch your sister smooch when you smooch know smooch smooch-" a laugh emitted from Mirabel with the double kiss "Moom! That was a double attack you can't do that!" The playful banter and the over-smothering of love from his beautiful bride with their children always brought Agustín such pure joy. The banter went on for a while as Isabela brought Agustín down and into the dining room. Sitting him in a chair, and kissing his cheek sweetly "Stay there papa~" she moved away and he sat there in silence for what seemed like ages. "What's going on everyone? I'm not getting any younger-"
What a way to phrase that.
"Funny you should say that" Luisa's voice chimed and made him jump a bit. Luisa was home?! What upside down backwards day was this, and where could he get more days like this! Though her workload has lessened since Mirabel saved the miracle, she was still ever the over achiever and work horse, so it was still not often he'd see his little -not-so-little- girl unless for meals. "Lulu!" Agustín chirped happily, still not able to see just yet. "Buenos Dias papa" The large Madrigal giggled and leaned down, pecking his cheek too. "Dios I feel so special to have all my girls here in one place and it's not for a meal! It must be my birthday." He said. As a joke. It took several long minutes of everyone being absolutely quiet for him to realize...
"IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!" He shouted, making Luisa jump a bit. Isabela and Mirabel shook their heads and giggled to themselves. That was their papa, he eventually got there without anyone's help. It just... took a little while.
"Ay, Agustín"
Julieta said from the kitchen, finishing up the last decorations to the cake she and the girls worked diligently for all morning. She brought it out and placed it in front of her husband, kissing his cheek softly, then the tip of his nose... then sweetly on his lips... then not so sweetly on his lips. "MOM" Mirabel gagged and Julieta giggled "What, I get to give mí esposo his birthday kisses". The eyebrow shot up over the flower crown and wiggled "That she does" he quickly agreed. Making all three girls groan, and the cackling from Camilo commence. "Can I take the flor crown off yet? While I love it, Isabela, I also love my sight- what little I have left of it." Agustín chuckled warmly.
"Yes papa, you can take it off- right mama?" Isabela made sure that was the plan right now and Julieta nodded "Correct." She smiled as he lifted the crown and lowered it to his lap- his eyes wide to see the cake before him, two large wax candles in the shape of a 4 and a 9 adorned the top of a beautifully decorated two-tier cake. The icing was glossy and slightly marbled with a handsome dark teal color. His eyes began to tear up and he bit his lip trying to stop it from quivering,
"Feliz Cumpliaños, Pa/Papa/Agustín!"
They all said together and hugged him from all sides. Never mind it being Father's day... they always made sure to celebrate his birthday first... and later on in the day fathers day. It always made Agustín feel so special. Dios did he love his girls!

Defending Abuela's Apology and Mirabel's Forgiveness (⚠️ spoilers ahead!)
Tumblr media
This whole scene and "Dos Oruguitas" was so beautiful and soul tearing!!! People don't have to like Abuela Alma, but I don't understand why they act as if Abuela was completely irredeemable. People give Abuela Alma so much backlash and villanize her and I'm sitting here like: "Did we not watch the same movie???"
And before y'all come at me, I want to clarify that NONE👏🏾 OF 👏🏾THIS 👏🏾DISSERTATION 👏🏾EXCUSES 👏🏾ABUELA'S 👏🏾TRAUMA 👏🏾SHE 👏🏾UNINTENTIONALLY 👏🏾INFLICTED 👏🏾ON 👏🏾THE 👏🏾FAMILY. I KNOW! I KNOW!
There's a reason why Abuela was the one who found Mirabel by the river and not her parents, sisters, aunt/uncles, or cousins. It was to set the scene for this powerful moment to transpire.
To be clear, Mirabel did apologize first because she felt she destroyed Casita, the town, and the miracle candle. However, Abuela said something Maribel did not expect to hear out of her mouth. Abuela took out the Uno reverse card and apologized right back to her. And it takes A LOT for an adult to apologize to a child. (Especially in the POC community...😓)
Abuela literally admitted fault to everything and she apologized to Mirabel. Granted it wasn't a fully-fledged 100 word essay that we expected, but we didn't need that. (It would have been nice, but this is a movie and it will be on a time constraint.) The apology itself was deeply sincere and emotional. It came from a place of vulnerability. It provided transparency for Mirabel to understand and sympathize with Abuela's pain that she has been repressing for 50 years.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
She wasn't able to process her emotions and greif properly. She lost the love of her life in front of her eyes, became a single mother to her baby triplets, and became responsible for a whole town of people and families practically overnight. Moreso, she had to learn about the miracle and how to use it to help those around her starting with her children who would soon get their own superpowers at a young age.
From the start, Encanto's strongest storytelling element was in its colors. Notice how the lake and the scenery was dull and unsaturated, signifying not only Mirabel's guilt and sadness in the moment, but the start of Abuela's trauma that took place in that very spot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It wasn't until Mirabel forgave Abuela and Abuela's realization about Mirabel being the true miracle that the lighting and background gradually changes into a beautiful, colorful and enriched environment filled with beautiful yellow butterflies, which are strong symbols in Columbian culture for love, hope, transformation, and new beginnings. And that's the thing: Forgiveness is a gradual process and depending on the person, it does not require physical reconnection. (Speaking from experience with a toxic family member. I cut them off by the way and I'm doing just fine.😎👍🏽)
And some of us who suffer in silence by holding in our own pain and deep dark truths everyday could totally relate to Abuela Alma. We might even take it out on our loved ones unknowingly. But that's when self-reflection and emotional intelligence comes in. And sometimes it takes the right person to bring that out of us. That's what Mirabel was for. Real talk, none of her children or other grandchildren would have called her out on her actions. (Probably except Bruno. Wouldn't it be dope if he did that?)
Also, people wanted accountability for Abuela. While I strongly agree on that standpoint, I believe she's been through enough. In fact, I believe the candle going out and Casita being destoyed was already consequences of her actions. Besides, wtf did y'all expect Mirabel to do? Burn her at the stake? Drown her in the lake? Push her out the window? (Even though Casita would have saved her.) Vengance is simply not in Mirabel's character.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ever since her gift ceremony, Mirabel had no choice but to come to terms with the fact that she won't have superpowers like the rest of the Madrigal family (excluding the fathers, Abuela Amla and Abuelo Pedro) and being the odd one out. At 5 years old, I can only imagine how embarassed, confused, and scared she was that night. Her parents wiping her tears trying to reassure her. Louisa trying to give her as many soft hugs as she can. Camilo trying his best to make her laugh. Delores trying to listen around for any possible answers. Pépa creating rainbows endlessly. Felix trying to dance with her. (I'm gonna stop listing hypotheticals I'm gonna freaking cry!🥺🥺🥺) But somehow, she was able to overcome those emotions and does her best to help her family and the village. And while she has such a bright and cheery disposition, she has been longingly wanting to be of use in the way that all the other grandkids were.
Tumblr media
While Mirabel's backstory has all the makings of becoming arguably the hardest villain arc in history, she chooses not to go down that route. She loves her family unconditionally and because of her love, she sees both Abuela Alma and Isabela in a whole new light and improved their once strained relationships. And she also resonates with Isabela and Louisa's long-standing pressure, expectations, and burdens that came with their gifts. If it wasn't for Mirabel, the whole family and Casita itself would have imploded eventually.
Tumblr media
All I'm saying is, there are no villains in this movie. Just hurt people. And hurt people hurt people. Keep in mind that this is a Disney movie. And y'all already know that it does not happen like this in real life. Forgiveness was necessary for Abuela, Mirabel, and restoring the miracle as well as Casita. Obviously rushed, but it got the point across.
That being said, Mirabel Madrigal has to be arguably THE BEST protagonist I've seen from modern-day Disney animated movies so far next to Moana. (And my new favorite!) If you have not seen Encanto yet, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch it! Then watch it again! It's so good, I often forget it's a Disney movie!

Posted it elsewhere earlier, but here’s a shorter version.
Each of the Madrigal’s powers are signs of unprocessed trauma.
Alma: Withdrawal (Casita and the surrounding village is literally shut off from the outside world)
Pépa: Emotional dysregulation
Julieta: Wounded healer
Bruno: Catastrophic Thinking/Self-fulfilling prophecies/Withdrawal
Isabela: Perfectionism
Dolores: Hypervigilance/Hyperarousal
Luisa: People-pleasing (and basing her worth around this)
Camilo: Chameleon effect
Mirabel: (apparently lacking in magic) Imposter syndrome. Also elements of wounded healer.
Theories about why Antonio’s gift doesn’t fit in here.
The candle doesn’t just give the gift. It’s symbolic of Alma passing on her trauma (unintentionally, but still harmful). When Mirabel brushed her hands against her dress, this was supposed to symbolise her “brushing off” the trauma. She’d be the one to break the cycle.
Mirabel’s empathy towards Antonio, and her willingness to break the rules to support him lessened his fear. He felt supported, so the trauma was lessened. Thus his gift wasn’t a trauma-formed one, but pure magic.
He also drew power from Mirabel. Mirabel was able to listen to her family members with more empathy than other members demonstrated; Antonio inherited that power differently. He could hear the animals instead. The innocence in his power is supposed to highlight that the trauma doesn’t reach him too.

If Mirabel, Alma, Agustín and Félix had gifts, what do you picture them being?
Mirabel-I know it's been a common prediction in the fandom that Mirabel is going to be Alma's successor and become the new bearer of the candle once the time comes.
But with her, I picture her gift being more art related since she has a knack for crocheting as shown in the film so I think she could have a gift where she was able to make drawings become reality, basically bring them to life.
She would sew a picture of a toucan on a piece of fabric or draw a jaguar on a piece of paper, it would start to move around and interact with people. She could make a giant tapestry revolving around the Madrigal's history for future generations to remember them by.
Agustín- What do you give a man who is insanely accident prone? Make him a handy man (which is pretty funny to say since his VA also voices Handy Manny)
But in all seriousness, I think his gift would be the ability to fix anything that needs to be repaired, think of it as a duology (tri-ology??) with Julieta's healing and Luisa's strength.
He would literally be the community's handy man to get small jobs done like fixing doors mending cracks on the steps on houses, carefully of course since he's still accident prone.
Félix- Ah, the fun and lively uncle that make a party go from zero to 100 real quick. For him, I believe I saw on one of the tweets Jared Bush tweeted saying that Félix was a theater kid and that's how him and Pépa met. I don't think he would even need a gift, he's got a great singing voice, got those slick, killer moves and is gorgeous beyond belief that will knock anyone off their feet. He got the lovely wife and kids too? He's set for life.
Alma-..... I actually have no idea what gift she would have tbh. Her presence alone is more memorable than any gift she could wield, and I mean that sincerely and literally.

The One
Julieta took a deep breath as she finished plating dinner for the night. She was elated and felt so confident in herself after making her mother’s favorite meal. Today was the day! She would tell Alma about the boy who’s stolen her heart and that she knew she would marry him.
She set the table just as Pépa and Bruno came down, raising an eyebrow as to why their sister seemed to be floating on air. Julieta smiled at them, not even caring that they thought she was crazy. Pépa chuckled, rolling her eyes and shaking her head as she sat down. Bruno was still lost but shrugged and sat down.
“I’m glad to see you’re in such a good mood, mija,” Alma said as she walked in and took her seat at the head of the table. “I have some news for you, and I’m confident it’ll make you even happier,” she smiled.
‘Doubt it,’ Julieta thought to herself. “I have some news too, Mamá. I can’t wait to share.” She took her seat and smiled at her mother, practically vibrating with anticipation. “But, you go first.” Alma nodded, “Very well then. I have been talking to Señora Gomez. You know how she adores you, mijita,” Alma always had a soft spot for her eldest daughter. She had a soft spot for all three of her children but in different ways. Julieta nodded, she was always humble, but she could hardly get the woman to shut up when she started talking to her. “Well, we have decided that you and her son Dante will marry.”
Julieta was sure the house had just fallen on top of her. Her smile far gone and her stomach churned, “Wh-what?”

I had a random idea. ...Here you go...

Pépa, to Félix: Your son's a bitch.
Camilo: I learned from my mother!
Based on true events that happened in my house 5 minutes ago.
I know I say my mom and I are Julieta and Mirabel, but we have our Pépa and Camilo moments...

Can't stop listening to this song because:
1. It reminds me of my parents.
2. Mirabel, Luisa, Isabela, and Dolores would definitely sing this if they were to pick a man.

Encanto Ask Game!!!
2 and 8 😁😁
These made me giggle!
2. What ice cream flavors do you think would exist in Encanto if ice cream were plausible?
On a normal scale? Like, Mint Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Cup. OH! And chocolate. You know Pépa is on that! On a bizarre scale: Julieta definitely would experiment with any flavor she could attempt to make.
8. Smut in fics or keeping it Gen?
I am ALWAYS HERE for smut. All the smut, all the time! BUT I do want some fluff, so a good combo of fluff and smut either in one fic or in separate ones, I want it. I support all of it.

5, 9, 12 hehe 😄
*squeals in excitement*
5. Any Encanto pet peeves? Can be canon or fic related.
Ships that involve incest. Just... no. And anytime anyone makes Pépa & Félix or Julieta & Agustín bad parents. Like, why? What happened in Canon to show us that they were absent or mistreated their children? Nothing.
9. Do you have a favorite underrated Encanto fic writer?
Please don't make me pick. I really can't. Literally anyone in the fandom who writes anything because, hey, they took the time to create something and share it with us!
12. You’ve gotta kick one canon character out of Encanto. Sorry.
Osvaldo. That man rubs me the wrong way. I'm not even sorry.
Here's the ask!

Julieta- play the part- so like Julieta pretends to be sick and Agustin helps her get away with it lmao 😁
play the part: [character] pretends to be sick.
Hmm... okay, this may be hard... BUT I'M DETERMINED!!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
It was all Agustín's idea, so Julieta really only wanted to blame him. Since Casita had been rebuilt, the whole family had been better about not putting so much pressure on themselves when it came to using their gifts. Julieta was very proud of her girls, with Isabela expressing herself how she saw fit, and Luisa spending more time for herself and spending less time wrangling donkeys. Mirabel still helped wherever she could, but she spent just a little more time with her Abuela Alma, rebuilding the relationship that they lost so many years before. All was good, except for the fact that old habits do, in fact, die hard and the healer couldn't take her own advice.
She couldn't find it in her heart to say no. To anyone. Broken arm? She’ll whip something up quick. Stubbed toe? Have an arepa. She was working on straightening up after making breakfast when Agustín walked in.
“You’re still in here? Mi amor. Please. You have to stop at some point.” he stepped up behind her as she only just started washing the dishes and wrapped his arms around her waist. His head rested on her shoulder as she spoke, “Let’s go for a walk, hm? It’s a beautiful day out.
Julieta sighed, “Agustín, you know I can’t leave this like this I-”
“Julieta!” Pépa’s voice range through the courtyard.
But before the healer could answer, her husband put his hand over her mouth. “Follow my lead,” he whispered in Julieta’s ear. Agustín loved his cunada, but he wasn’t about to lose time with his wife to her sister. “Casita,” and with just a word, the water stopped flowing into the basin and a small barrier was put up between Julieta and the dirty dishes.
“Agustín Wilmer Rojas Madrigal, what in the-” but she was caught off guard when Agustín’s hand went to her forehead.
“Julieta, I... are you alright?” Pépa walked into the kitchen to see... just what she saw. Her brother-in-law’s hand splayed across her sister’s forehead. “Do you have a fever?”
“No, I-”
“She’s warm, but she doesn’t have a fever,” Agustín interrupted his wife again. He really seemed to have a death wish this day. “I was just about to take her upstairs.” Placing a hand on the small of her back, Agustín essentially dragged his wife toward the door.
“Oh, I was just going to see if you wanted to go to the market with me. But if you aren’t feeling well then you should rest.” Pépa nodded, “Good work, hermano,” she said to Agustín.
He gave Pépa a singular nod before he and Julieta were in the courtyard, but rather than the stairs, he aimed for the back door, leading to the river that flowed behind Casita.
“Okay, first you suggest a walk, then I’m ill, and now we’re headed outside.” she dug her heels into the ground, halting them both. “Tíno, I’m not complaining about spending time with you, but what is your aim here?”
Agustín took her chin between his forefinger and thumb, turning her face up to his and touching his lips to her own. Her eyes fluttered shut, leaning into him, her hands moving on their own accord and coming to rest on his chest. She nearly whimpered when he pulled away, “I just want you to take some time for yourself, mi conejito...” he looked into her eyes, “And for me?” His eyes seemed to sparkle.
Julieta bit her lip and looked back at Casita... then at her husband... then back to Casita...
“Let’s go before they realize we’re out here.”
Agustín laughed as he was dragged away from the house by his wife. There was no question of where Luisa got her strength from. All of their girls for that matter...
If anyone had looked for them, they didn’t know. After all... she was under the weather and resting in bed.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Sorry, this took so long! With work and life and things, it took forever. I hope you like it! I really did struggle with this because I can’t see Julieta pretending to be sick. But Agustín taking the brunt of it and lying for her? Heck yes!

Request Bellow!
Part 2 of the madrigal sisters reacting to first Period and the following
Pépa and Dolores!
Pepa had already informed her daughter on the Period subject and proceeded to smile down at her, stroke her hair or ask if there are any questions and then would kiss her forehead
Dolores can't speak loudly due to her gift so she walks towards her mamá to tell her that it was time!
"You're all grown up,Mi pequeña Linda!" And tear up reaching for the girls form to pull her in a hug
Dolores feels a few drops of rain fall on her hair until her mother grabs the essential kit Julieta prepared
Since then Pepa helps her little girl with anything during her period
Sing her a ballad to fall asleep when the pain is unbearable, gift her chocolates
Her favorite drink
A lot of orange juice!
Pépa would be like "Come on mi Amor all of it,no waste you have to be strong!" Or "it will strengthen your organism as Your Tía says I trust her"
Pèpa would prepare her bed or change the sheets if needed
When it's too hot Pèpa would change the weather a bit
Félix knows about periods (his wife made sure to underline it,raining, thundering all signs of it 😂)and would play tiple to help his daughter forget the strong pain
Or let her sing a few childhood songs!
Pépa would pop her head or walk.by to ask if her girl is doing alright and doesn't feel anything
She would get upset or worried when Dolores would like to relax on her own and would visit her from time to time
Maybe eat lunch or dinner with her ^_^
And discuss about gossip together 👀😭
Pépa loves her children and is deeply worried sometimes about them and always takes care of them before they think they need anything!
She takes care of her only girl, shopping together, talking about things, they would play together with toys, stuffed animals etc.
Would often cry at how Dolores is slipping through her fingers,Félix is there to comfort her
Doubting sometimes is first to cross her mind "Félix what if I'm too much?" Or "Am I a good mamá" he is there to remind her that she is "the best mamá in all Encanto"
Pépa makes sure to thank him in many ways 👀😌
