there should be racial personality tests like this type of thing:
Tumblr media
where you answer a bunch of questions and it gives you scores in each category. but you get e.g. 90% chinese 65% black 70% white 10% filipino etc

i had a bbu idea
Bbu but it's Medieval Era.
Like, I had these really, really specific ideas today.
Imagine with me
It's 19XX. Woman have no rights. Some decades after French Revolution. Classism is everywhere. The rich have all the people. Slavery is still a thing.
So, there are the pets, right?
Imagine this with me.
Woman can't be pets here. Why?, do you ask.
Woman can't work. We know that, right? Mysoginism and all the bad stuff. So, what if this statement also applies for pets?
Woman can't be pets either.
So
Here is my take
Did you know how in ancient times people used to dress their sons as girls to avoiding bad luck and health?
Imagine people dressing their sons ans girls so they won't be taken
Imagine pet slavery being a great industry then, so there are some laws to keep that industry
Boys clothes can be bought easily. If you have money. But not girls. You have to proof that your children are female before buying fem clothes for them
So people can't fake it and get their boys safe, right?
But there is the rich
We know the rich have it all.
So the rich bargain, and can have girls clothes for their boys
Until a certain age, in which they are to old to be taken anymore
What do you think?

There may come a night
where you’re sitting in a car
& the whole world feels like it is ending
And all you can do is stare at the wide bright stars
outside of it all
knowing that it’s not.

He always had felt that way, the emptiness, the void, it came easily for him, the safest blanket someone like him could have. His brother would have probably told otherwise, Regulus could imagine him so well telling his friends that Regulus wasnt always like this, that he was such a crybaby when he was young, so emotional, so sensitive, his little Reggie, that their family was the one who fucked him up, made him this black hole sucking every little emotion that might come to the surface.
But Regulus knew better, he remembered. He remembered being six and falling from a tree, feeling nothing until his brother panicked over him crying, but he didn’t feel it, his body reacted but not him.
Every instance of his life happened to what felt like someone else. He wished, longed for more, but it never came. But as he got older it felt more like a blessing than a curse because who would want to live his life, he certainly didn't. So he thanked Salazar every chance he would get, he was spared.
He couldn’t give a fuck if it was not normal, at least he could go on.
He never was jealous of Sirius for feeling so much, the universe was in balance this way, the one who felt too much, the one who never felt enough. Two sides of the same coin.

To Ian’s ex-girlfriend,
You asked me to meet you, and at first, I declined, wondering why I should bother. After all, I have nothing to do with you, but you were so persistent that you even talked to my brother about it. Your determination impressed me, so I eventually agreed to meet with you.
But now, I regret that decision because you’re the type of person who knows how to open your mouth but often forgets that you have a brain and can use it.
As an educated woman, you don’t need to rub it in my face that you and Ian would be a better match. Yes, you’re younger and much more beautiful than I am, and I have to admit you’re smart in multiple ways. However, your discussions should be with Ian, not me.
First and foremost, Ian and I are not together. We might spend time with each other, but that’s it - nothing more. He can date whoever he wants, and I can do the same, with no hard feelings, especially on my part. If Ian doesn’t want to be with you, well, that’s not my fault.
If someone doesn’t like you, does that mean another person is at fault? I don’t have the answer, but if someone doesn’t like you, let them be, and don’t search for something or someone to blame.

one of my professors, a historian who has been interviewed as an expert in various documentaries, said that the secret to documentaries is saying something very obvious, as slowly as possible. for example, if you say “the romans…….. enjoyed their dinner parties” or "being a gladiator... was... very... dangerous" then the filmmakers can get that clip and immediately pan over some cool pictures of mosaics or something. this has forever changed the way i view documentaries
