You mentioned that you like people sharing blurbs so I thought I’d share one!

In Sagau I imagined the statues of the creator to have an aura around it. Like it changes depending on their mood. so sometimes people will visit the statues to feel closer to the creator or to talk to the statue. It would be customary to visit the statues when one is really happy to share their happiness with the creator. Which would cause little bursts of happiness within the creators everyday life.

I just thought it was a sweet headcanon to share! I hope you have a good day!

this is actualy the best headcanon, i love worldbuilding stuff like this, like reader having statues/how ppl treat them/emotive statues like?? genius??

idk if yall are into the ship, but the worldbuilding in this zhongli/childe fic goes so hard, and this kinda reminded me of how the author descibed genuine/"filling" offerings to the gods being like, less of a business transaction and more of a, "i got so happy seeing all the flowers i handmade a flower crown just to share it with you!" and THATS what you give a god to give them a satisfying meal

yourusername Thank You so much for the concern! I am not leaving the opener position for LOT due to any kind of issue or rift between me or any band members.(yes, including Harry.) Unfortunately there was a scheduling error on both of our teams parts where my projects will overlap with the tour. Those projects require me to be at home in the US, unfortunately so I will have to say an early goodbye. Still going to make these next few shows the best I can though! Love the LOT band! 😊💞

The bell above the door of Family Video chimed as you walked into the store. Robin and Steve were both stood behind the counter, barely acknowledging the sound until you skipped up towards them, a beaming smile on your face.

“Oh, hey!” Robin greeted, taking her eyes off the computer screen for a second, “What’s got you smiling like that?”

“Oh, it’s nothing..” you grinned, leaning over the counter now, “just Ryan asked me on a date, is all.”

Steve prayed he didn’t hear you right, trying his best to pay as little attention as possible to the conversation. He really wasn’t in the mood to hear you fawn over Ryan. The boy thought it was torture, hearing any mention of you and the dumb college boy, especially as Steve was head over heels for you himself.

He could only scowl at your happiness, meeting Robin’s enthusiasm with a glare. The younger girl frowned at him, nudging him with her elbow.

“Did you hear that, Stevie?” She asked, a knowing grimace painting her features, heart a little sympathetic for the boy, “She’s gone and got herself a date with Ryan, isn’t that great?”

“Yeah,” he nodded, eyes never reaching your gaze, continuing to flick through the magazine on the desk, “that’s… it’s great! Just great.” His shoulders shrugged as he stood up straight, “I’m made up for you. Really, I am.” Voice a little sad, his tone laced with a hint of sarcasm.

You watched him carefully as he made his way out from behind the counter and towards the back office, away from you and Robin. You shared a confused look with Robin, waiting until you heard the door shut behind him.

“What was that all about?” you asked, “That was weird, right?”

Robin stammered for the right response, so not to invalidate your feelings because yeah, Steve’s reaction was weird, to you. To you who was totally oblivious to Steve’s feelings towards you. But also not blab about Steve’s secret.

“I’m, uh—“ she chuckled nervously, fingers scratching her head, “yeah, I mean that was a little weird,” shoulders shrugging, “but that’s just… Steve, right? You know how he is. I’m sure he’s fine.”

“Right…” you dragged out, unsure whether to believe her or not. You shrugged it off but still couldn’t get the look on Steve’s face out of your head.

Your date with Ryan was coming up in a couple days and it was safe to say you were nervous. You liked the boy a lot, always having a crush on him in high school. He was a couple years older than you and, of course, never paid you the slight bit of attention whilst you were in school together.

You ran into him again a month or so ago, walking straight into him in the middle of the movie theatre, spilling his large Coke down your shirt. He apologised profusely, insisting that he take you out to lunch to make it up to you.

You hung out a couple more times before he asked you on a date and you were crushing hard. You thought the boy was handsome, the right amount of charm and confidence.

Steve insisted he was a bad apple, that he was no good for you. Trying his best to convince you that someone who wouldn’t pay you the time of day a few years ago certainly didn’t deserve your attention now you were a little more grown.

You would always roll your eyes, of course. Mind always foggy with infatuation and always wanting to see the good in people, insisting that high school was, well, bullshit.

But you wanted this to go well and so you needed some advice. You had no idea what the date would entail, Ryan insisting it would be a surprise. You wanted to make sure you were ready for anything.

So you sauntered your way into Family Video again, fingers dinging the bell on the counter.

“One second!” you heard Steve call out from the back.

You tapped your freshly manicured nails on the hard wooden counter as you waited for the boy. Steve was your best friend, and despite his weird mood the other day you needed his help.

“Welcome to Family Video, how can I— oh!” Steve exclaimed, “Hey, what brings you here on this fine evening?”

Chucking at his lighthearted reaction, you leaned over the counter on your elbows, giving Steve your prettiest pout. Your eyelashes flattering up at the boy.

“I… need your help, Steve. Need some advice.”

He quirked his eyebrows at you, leaning his head to the side slightly, “Oh yeah? And what exactly can I do for you, sweetheart?”

“It’s about my date with Ryan,” you started, shifting on your feet, not meeting Steve’s gaze, “I jus’ feel like I have no idea what I’m doing. Like, what if he wants to go dancing or—“

“I’ll stop you there,” he said with a sigh, “he is not going to take you dancing. The guy’s got two left feet! Didn’t you see him at Tina’s party a few years ago?”

“Steve,” you whined, “I’m being serious!”

“And so am I,” the boy shrugged, rolling his eyes, “I don’t even know why you’re bothering with college boy.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” You scoffed at Steve, arms folding over your chest in annoyance, “Why do you have such a problem with me hanging out with Ryan?”

“What?” Steve gawped, “I don’t have a problem.”

“Oh, come on, Steve,” it was your turn to roll your eyes now, “you always have that grumpy look on your face whenever I mention him! And you were acting so strange when I said he asked me out.”

Steve’s heart was thumping against his chest, teeth gnawing at his lip. The heat was rising up his neck, not sure he was liking where this conversation was heading. He watched as your tone turned accusatory, your usual soft features turning hard in irritation.

“I wasn’t acting strange.” was the only response Steve could give.

“Sure,” you jeered, “whatever, Steve.” Spinning on your heel towards the door, turning to leave.

“Fuck,” Steve grumbled under his breath, “are you really gonna make me say it?”

“Say what?” you asked, narrowing your eyes at the boy.

He sighed, stepping out from behind the counter to walk after you. He took your hand in his much larger one, thumb rubbing over your skin. Steve’s eyes locked on where your fingers were laced together.

“You are— shit, how do I say this,” he winced at his stumbling voice, “you are the girl that I’ve been dreaming of ever since I was a kid.”

“Steve,” you whispered, voice quieter, features softening at his confession.

“Let me finish, please, sweetheart?” You nodded in response, heart swelling in your chest.

The boy smiled softly at you, his fingers tucking a stray strand of your hair behind your ear, “I don’t like you hanging out with Ryan because you’re too good for him. You deserve someone who knows you inside out, someone who’s always gonna go that extra mile for you,” he paused, giving your hand a squeeze, grinning before he said, “you deserve someone who knows how to dance with you.”

You giggled, a smile pinching at your cheeks, shaking your head at his words.

You had no idea. Really, you had no clue at all. Steve was your best friend. Sure, you had toyed with the idea of being with him. What it would be like to wake up in his arms, what it would feel like for him to call you baby. To rake your hands through his mussed hair as he laid his head in your lap. You failed to pick up on any signs though, and so you shut down your imagination.

“And who’s that, Steve?” you asked teasingly, head lolling to the side in a taunt.

Steve chuckled as he leaned in a bit closer, breath fanning over your cheeks. A pretty pink flush spread across his cheeks, decorating the moles and freckles, “I think you know the answer to that.” was all he said.

You nodded, gazing up into his warm brown eyes. They were bright and inviting, glimmering with sincerity, “Why didn’t you say anything?

He shrugged, “I just couldn’t, had to bite my tongue every time and prayed that you would somehow catch on.”

“You’re an idiot, Steve Harrington.”

“Sure am,” he chuckled, nodding in agreement with you. His warm palm cupped your cheek now, the rough pad of his thumb stroking over the flushed skin, “now can I kiss you?”

You leaned into his palm, enjoying the way his touch made you feel. How your skin lit up with excitement, heart thumping against your chest at the possibility of having something with your best friend.

“What’re you waiting for, Steve?”

The boy didn’t need to be told twice, both hands holding your face so delicately. Steve leaned into you as your eyes fluttered closed, his lips brushing against yours in a sweet kiss.

The kiss was soft, his pretty pink lips moving against yours so gently, as if you would break if he kissed you any harder. Your knees wobbled as your legs turned to jelly, fully melting into Steve’s kiss. Your arms snaking around his neck, your fingers brushing at the hair at the nape of his neck.

Steve sighed contently into your mouth, a noise that had you both smiling against one another. He broke the kiss for a second, forehead resting against your own. The tip of his nose came to brush along the slope of yours before he pecked your lips again.

“So, is he better than me?”

You rolled your eyes, swatting at the boy’s chest playfully, a smug smirk tugging at your kiss bitten lips.

“No, Steve.”

You pulled him back down to you again, fisting the thin green work vest he wore. Lips crashing against Steve’s, wondering why you couldn’t see what was right in front of you this whole time.

Though not always together physically, unfortunately due to Brucey's secret vigilante life- You could only hope he makes it in time to celebrate your and his anniversary. . .

"Speak." Oh how you missed hearing that gentle, masterful calm voice of his.

He's most likely in his batmobile right now, flying over the city or doing something genius you haven't figured out yet.

"Mm, got any plans for tonight, Batman?" With your hip, you leaned on the coffee table and stared out the floor-to-ceiling glass window of a penthouse. (One of many you shared with your future husband all over the city.)

"Depends on who's the lovely person asking. And I thought I've told you not to call me during–"

"–Night patrols, yes but. . ." You twisted the silky curtain fabric around your finger, "I just really wanted to hear your voice." Also to see if he remembered your anniversary date.

There was a small pause before a delicious low chuckle trailed down your body tenderly in vibrations through the phone. "Will that be all?"

Oh no it won't be once he gets his ass here.

You tightened the lavish bathrobe around you, "hopefully I'm not disturbing you too much, Mr Batman. But if you have some time to spare, I'd appreciate it if you'd spend it on me."

Another one of his entertained chuckle runs through your nerves like silk.

You sighed dreamily, "it would really make my night. . ."

"I'll come to you within 24 hours," you swear you heard a teasing smile in his lovely deep voice. (He had no idea what a chase you'll be giving him this time. If it'll even be a chase at all for the big brain he has.)

"I'm not at my (our) usual place. . . " That was the first clue you gave him, "how ever will you find me?"

He guaranteed before hanging up, "you're never far from me. If that's all, I'll need to get going to see you soon." Oh he'd better.

You left the phone on the coffee table and laid out on the lounge sofa to relax, looking out at the world-wide view and specks of stars in the great sky. If he's late, you planned to sleep here for the night. . .

But true to his words, you didn't have to wait long, sensually alone, drinking some juice in your fluffy bathrobe when the sound of the doors opening gently alerted you.

"Baby," his footsteps ring from behind you and closer they reached until a large warm hand lands on your hip.

"It didn't take you very long to get here," you pouted and turned your head around to see the handsome love of your life- though internally your heart jumped for joy at how early he arrived.

They were piercing in the shadows, but sweet in the lights as Bruce's sapphire blue eyes would sweep across your whole body from head to toe for a minute (something like his routine as Alfred, his butler, had once said) admiring you.

"I tried to delay myself as best as I can to give you some space, (Name), but it is almost midnight." So he knew all along. What an eyeroll moment if not for how wonderful he is looking down at you with that sweet loving smile and his burning hand on your covered skin.

He then crouched and leaned in closer to softly- like a butterfly- kiss the center of your forehead, the ironed tie of his suit hung and grazed at your arm as he held that kiss for a while.

Then you couldn't help speaking, "I thought I'd give you a little challenge. . ." Which wasn't very hard in the first place if he had placed a tracker on you somewhere, somehow like he'd usually do. For safety reasons, you'd assume.

"Oh yeah? And how did that go," he cocked his eyebrow sharply.

"Not very effective but I don't care," you reached out your arms around his neck and tugged him down onto your body. "I hope you have alot more time because I'm not letting you go until tomorrow night."

Bruce allowed this, you were well aware of his extremely superior strength and how much you had an effect on this hero who'd melt in your proximity.

His strong chest pressed down on yours and suddenly you could feel his heart beat racing against yours. . . Like there was nothing except both of your flesh and bones being the obstacle for your hearts to join into one. . . He kissed the side of your lips like he couldn't resist your pull. "Of course not, I don't expect anything less from you, (Name) Wayne. . . I couldn't stop loving you even if I had tried."

"No complaints, Brucey. I'm having you all for myself for the day." You said confidently though didn't mean it completely, sure you could be selfish but the city needed Batman more than you do. . . You have his heart and that's more than enough. (Also his wealth but that's not the point)

Many times in your life you've seen the absolute lovestruck way he's looked at you, but the warmth shimmering between your body and his as he, unblinking, gazed seriously into your soul. . . Made you fall in love again and again. As if you couldn't love him enough.

Bruce whispered near your jaw in the sweetest voice, cracking near the end. "(Name). . . Happy anniversary."

"Happy anniversary too, Brucey." You kissed him back, deeper than ever. The night was still young after all.

- their makeup may be simple but captures the essence of happiness which switch strives to do (okay this last one i didn't add in the rant but now that I've calmed down i decided to add it lmao)

overall the fit isn't in your face and works super well!! it may be a recolor and a few added things here and there but it's a good recolor! not saying the previous valentines weren't but looking at it further makes you appreciate the thought put into the design 💖

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HONESTLY I DO REALLY LOVE THESE OUTFITS. I THINK THEY ARE SO INCREDIBLY CUTE I ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. i was initially disappointed not bc i didnt like the fits but bc i was like "wow....... a recolor for our climax event............. couldnt u have waited until next year................." but honestly ive changed. my perspective has changed. because i truly believe these are the best valentines day recolors yet and also has the cutest and most fun valentines day song and mv So really by having this be our climax event we're just getting the biggest valentines day banger like we deserve. Ending the year with Blind Channel + a bunch of some lovely people, aka not-a-concert-report from the Helsinki ice hall show (29.12.) and Tampere Pakkahuone (30.12.)

Not a concert report because y'all know pretty much what happened; this is just my own diary entry about the events 😌

So, Thursday was a bit of a struggle for me personally: there were some surprise changes regarding my train trip to Helsinki that gave me a good ol' spook the first thing I woke up, plus I had a killer headache for most of the day...

...and on top of that I fell! 🙈 We were already inside the venue and on our way to take our spots on the floor. Naturally there were all sorts of electric chords going across the floor, but thankfully they were covered so that people walking normally and minding their step wouldn't stumble all over them 🙏👍👌

Needless to say I wasn't one of them, however 🙃 I wasn't running, I was just walking quite fast, and I totally wasn't watching where I was going, and so I tripped and ended up on the floor and had super minor injuries on my hand and knee (thanks @matelas for the pink bandaid 💗)

My fall wasn't quite as dramatic as Porko's though, gosh what a show-off, can't even fall on his pretty little ass without pyros blowing off 🙄🔥

We weren't super close to the stage, but close enough to see what was happening with our bare eyes, and definitely closer than I dared to imagine in advance! 🤩

The surprise Robin was one of the highlights of the gig, that was truly something straight ouf of fanfiction 😆 I mean, imagine being such good friends with your ex that you ask them to be a special guest in your special show with your new bf's band :')

And the money shooting in the air was a m a z i n g 😂💞💸 sadly I didn't catch one, but @thisisntaparty was terribly kind and gave me one afterwards as a keepsake 🥰 I've put it on the Place of High Honour™ (the fridge door)

(let's not talk about how the setlist was a teeeeeeeeeny tiny disappointment (to me personally at least; I was totally excpecting to hear SLB and many other songs they KNOW are fan favourites 😔), and I feel like the show itself wasn't as special I was expecting it to be 🤔 I mean, of course having Robin fucking Packalén there took us all by surprise etc. but somehow I expected more, especially because the setlist was exactly the same the next day in Tampere (and maybe the cruise show setlist was similar as well?). For example, Dark Side being the ONLY encore song wasn't how I had imagined them to end their biggest headline gig to date)

But, speaking of Tampere, HOLY FUCKING SHIT 😭😭😭😭😭 It was incredible, and not least because we were on 3rd row with a direct view to Olli 😵 @matelas and I competely lost it when he first appeared in front of us, in all his sinful beauty ✨

I had never been this close to Olli's side before, so it was amazing to see his happy face during the songs 😭 You can really see from his whole presence how much he enjoys playing shows, I wanted to ruffle his hair too like Niko did during Glory For The Greedy 🥺

And Aleksi was really enjoying himself as well, it was cool to see him up close too when he came to stand on Olli's platform a few times 🥰 I feel like our eyes met very briefly near the end 💖

Niko did the eeeeeeeeyo thingie, as he always does, and we did the longest eeeeeeeeeeeyo known to mankind back at him, in fact I think you can still hear it echoing inside Pakkahuone! 😌

In both shows (and also in general) my favourite songs to hear live are Don't Fix Me, We Are No Saints, and Balboa; I had so much fun boundcing and partying to those songs 💃 I had made a conscious decision to not film too many videos during either gig, because I truly wanted to take it all in and enjoy the shows to the fullest, but at the same time I wish I had taken just a few more, because watching the videos and sort of getting to re-live the whole thing all over again is so much fun 🖤

Great fun was also had at the very informal, extremely small-scale, and otherwise perfectly wonderful BC tumblr gathering we had after the ice hall show in a bar downton Helsinki, and in the Gathering 2.0 after the Tampere show!! 🥰 You guyyyyyyssssss, both hangouts were filled with laughter and kindness and soft feelings and I was so happy 🥺😭💕

(I DIDN'T CRY, but if I did, it was because @himmelno44 made me!! 😭)

Thanks to BC and their superb energy and songs I probably would have had a great time even if I had gone to the shows all alone, but I gotta tell ya, spending time with such lovely people made it so much better and I had the most fun I've had in a long time 🥺

Special thank yous go to my queuing buddies @ladysorbus and @matelas without whom I would've frozen my ass off and died of boredom while waiting for showtime both days (I'll have you know Envy and I acted so incredibly mature the entire time and totally did not annoy the heck out of @ladysorbus and each other 🥰💞)

Thank you to my BC tumblr meet organizer buddy @sinking-into-mist (the meet was succesful and no one passed out due to anxiety, look at us!! 🎉) and my darling dearest sweetest most loveliest @himmelno44 I miss you so terribly much already and I'm counting the days until we see again, no matter how many there'll be 😭

Thank you to @thisisntaparty (keeping the door open for Stockholm shall we 👀) @mil-peri @madeofbrokenstuff @gingervivilou and @into-the-hell for hanging out, it was so nice meeting you and I'm up for getting together with any of you sweet people any time! <3

And thank you to everyone else I met a little more briefly (but not too briefly to get a hug 🥰), it was great to see you all, mwah mwah mwah 💋

And now the emotional part:

This year's been a bit rough for me personally for various reasons, as there has been a couple of changes that I'm still trying to get used to (+ the always-present feelings of loneliness and inadequacy), but Blind Channel has been this one consistent element in my life this year, something I have been able to escape to when things in my personal life have started hurting too much. Their music and all the content on the side (from the guys themselves as well as fan-made) are one thing, but equally important to me are all the amazing people I have met (in person and online!) and the incredible memories we have made together that have given me endless joy throughout the year 🥺 There have been many, many days when I have felt so incredibly sad and lonely and desperate and the thought of being happy has seemed downright impossible, but during the last two days I have laughed so much and felt such joy that I don't really know how to put it into words 😭 I just want to thank everyone who was part of it, and of course I hope to one day be able to meet Blind Channel in person again too and thank them, for giving me so much more than just the music 🖤

To anyone reading this, thinking I'm crying my eyes out all alone in my apartment, having to continue living my sad, boring life not knowing when I'll see Blind Channel and some of the lovely peeps mentioned above again: I am crying my eyes out, but I want you to know I'm also crying happy tears because of how grateful I am for all these memories, and also that I'm happy to sleep in my own bed tonight and to be eating cauliflower soup and having some fun snacks while watching hockey later, so life's not all bad I guess, even if I have a small wound on my right hand and a bruise the size of Niko's balls on my left knee :')

(last night I was actually so happy that I had forgotten all about the falling as well as the hassle with the train 🥰)

Nils Koppruch - Kirschen (wenn der Sommer kommt). Songified Sommerleichtigkeit 💛 I've also just had a look at the comment section and it's lovely to see that people still remember Nils and his music so fondly 💞 he really was one of the good ones

did you mean: my entire music library. Hmm, let's go with Thees Uhlmann - Immer wenn ich an dich denke, stirbt etwas in mir. It took a while for that song to grow on me, but now it's got a special place in my heart. Especially the lines Ich bin der Letzte mit einem Bierglas / In einer Welt voller Champagner / Die Welt ist von sich selbst besoffen / Aber ich bleib beim Bier just hit differently idk

14: A song that you would love played at your wedding

I mean.... we've already agreed that Böhmi's versions of Señorita and Malle ist nur einmal im Jahr should be played at our wedding 🤣😏 but apart from that, I'd also like to propose Thees Uhlmann - Römer am Ende Roms. It's a song about getting married that manages to reference both Bruce Springsteen and Shakespeare - what more could you possibly want from a wedding song!! And Loch Lomond for the last dance would be fun, too. (I really put way too much thought into this for someone who doesn't really care that much about marriage as a concept lmao)

15: A song that is a cover by another artist

Camp Cope - Seventeen Going Under (originally by Sam Fender) Okay, so I love Sam Fender and I love Camp Cope and the original song is a fucking masterpiece and they managed to make it their own without ruining anything. And the small changes to the lyrics and the way that Georgia absolutely slays this!! And when she sings I was far too scared to hit him / but I would hit him in a heartbeat now..... it feels quite different compared to when Sam does it but it still feels like a punch in the chest, y'know?

19: A song that makes you think about life

Gang of Youths - The Deepest Sighs, the Frankest Shadows I like that this song turns the whole... the human existence (or even the cosmos as a whole) has no objective value or meaning thinking into something that's actually life-affirming. Because it's about creating and ascribing your own meaning and finding value in your life and building relationships with others that create meaning and that allow you find value in each other. And that's definitely an idea that I can identify with. And the line I will stand in the darkness and laugh with my heel on its throat just makes me go feral for some reason haha

29: A song that you remember from your childhood

Blondie - Maria. Let's pretend that a lot of my musikalische Frühprägung didn't consist of the likes of Pur etc I was... 9? when this song came out and it was played a lot on the radio and I didn't understand a single word of the lyrics, but I loved Debbie's voice and it's just such a banger.
