On the second Advent, we will show you the most populated places during Christmastime: the Christmas Markets.

The first picture from Munich shows the most popular and most populated Christmas Market of the city, the so called Christkindlmarkt. It is in the center of the city by City Hall and the goes through the shopping mile, where the picture is taken. ( I hope that I am correct in this assessment.) It’s still a fact that the Christkindlmarkt is the most popular and draws a lot of tourists as well as people from the surrounding areas. That is the case due to being in the center of the city and being easily reachable with trains. That makes gives everybody the possibility have one or more mulled wine while also having some delicious food.

Christkindlmarkt though is only one of many Christmas markets in Munich.

The same is true for Cologne, where are numerous markets in all kinds of sizes. The most populated is by the cathedral, which is also right by the main train station. Another really popular is by the end of the shopping mail. The second picture shows you the entrance to the third big Christmas Market in the historic city, which is also the most beautiful of the big three and actually the only of the three I go to, just not on a weekend.

『霧に包まれて』

気分転換に、久々に自然の中へ。そう思って早起きした日、山の麓は深い霧に包まれていました。

すっかり秋の空気です。

白いベールが木々の間を漂い、僅かな音も霧の中に消えていきます。霧が緑に触れて雫になって、大地へと帰っていく。静かに営まれる自然の日常。

いつもと変わらない姿にとても癒されます。

『Wrapped in fog』

I got up early in the morning and walk in nature. The foot of the mountain was covered in deep fog. There was autumn air there. A white veil floats between the trees, and even the slightest noise disappears into the fog. The fog touches the green and becomes a drop, returning to the earth. Daily life of naturel that repeats quietly. I am very healed by the unchanging appearance of nature.
