Chapter 1 - Paper Pagoda
Chapter 2 - Beauty of Cloud Empire

Story - summarized
Susan and William love working on paper crafts together. Thanks to their teacher, they are inspired to make a paper pagoda like the ones in Cloud Empire. They want to go on vacation there. So their parents promise to take the kids if they get good grades on their exams.
The twins are enchanted by the different culture. Susan is eager to try all the snacks and desserts, while William is already looking forward to the museum. He takes in all the photos and models of Cloud-style buildings.
One part of the tour shows the various buildings that were damaged by fire and subsequently abandoned. Seeing the old style architecture, William gets an idea for a project once they get home.
Finally home, he sketches some ideas for a different pagoda. Susan wants to help, but he’d rather do this himself. Nevertheless, he tells her to make some origami cranes. He is almost done with the main structure of the tower when Susan excitedly shows him the crane she finished - and accidentally knocks his kerosene lamp over. The paper catches fire. Now, the twins have a better understanding of how the old buildings got damaged.
Susan feels awful about the accident, but this gives William an idea. It takes him a while to find a way to make their paper fire-proof and water-proof, but he finds a perfect method. He’s able to finish his tower and add Susan’s cranes.
They enter their project into a school exhibition. All the students love it, and it’s still on display in the school cabinet.
Connections
-Susan sees an ad for a Cloud pastry shop. It’s the same award-winning dessert shop that Nikki mentioned in her birthday Reflection Colorful Cake Tower.
-Whereas Susan lives in the moment (like how her memories in Message of Camellia are during her trip), William prefers to look at lasting impact, which is why he’s such a fan of architecture and scientific achievements.
Fun Facts
-While the team at Paper Games chose to call Cloud Empire “oriental,” from my research, it’s a charged word that has also been used negatively toward people from East and South Asia as a way to other them. I chose to keep the original wording for the time being.
-For those who use the empirical system instead of the metric system, 1 meter is roughly equivalent to 3 feet. So William had his sister stay 6 feet away while he worked on the tower.
-It’s best not to give a child a kerosene lamp unless you’re in the room with them. No matter how skilled an alchemist they are.
-Origami cranes are actually a Japanese art, not Chinese, but just like in Love Nikki, Cloud Empire also draws on Japanese influences.

In Paper Mario: The Origami King, it is possible for Mario to accidentally lock himself in a fridge forever.
If, during the investigation portion of Overlook Tower, Mario opens the doors of the fridge in the restaurant kitchen and jumps inside before the doors close, there will be no way for him to get back out as the door interaction prompt does not appear while Mario is inside.
Note Mario's silhouette inside the fridge, attempting fruitlessly to escape. The only way to continue playing is to reset the game.

🍥 author's note: ngl i feel like something like this alr exists out there, i just don't know if someone alr made something like this, so pls lemme know 😭😭😭 and i had no idea what exactly to call this au, but basically, choso and yuuji are half brothers and choso's completely human; they have a wide age gap, but choso's very close to yuuji and is an amazing older brother to him here (he's very involved in his life and supports him so much !!) AND I'M SORRY I MADE KENJAKU YUUJI'S MOM BY DEFAULT 😭😭😭 ik he's also technically choso's dad, but i had to fit the half siblings thing in somewhere TT
"excuse me," spoke a raspy voice from behind you. turning around, you see a tall man with dark, chin length hair and smoky eyeshadow looking at you; he sort of towering over you, coming off as slightly intimidating. "ah, yes?" you asked in a soft voice, forcing a smile. "um... i'm here to pick up yuuji itado—" "big brother!" the little boy's high pitched voice called out for him from within the classroom.
like a little tornado, yuuji slipped out of the classroom and embraced his older brother by the legs, yapping to him a mile a minute about how fun making the origami animals and finger painting were in class today. the man chuckled and pat his younger brother by the head, taking him into his arms and carrying him. "that's great, yuuji, but slow down..." he advised his younger brother, giving him a piggy back ride.
you couldn't help but smile at the brotherly affection yuuji showed for his older brother. "so you're the one yuuji keeps bragging about in class..." you say in a sweet voice, admiring how patient he is with yuuji. the man's eyes go a little wide, and across his face, a reddish blush appears on his cheeks. "well, um... i didn't realize my little brother spoke so highly of me..." "he does, all the time!" you explained, making the man blush a little more as the toddler yuuji played with his older brother's hair.
"say, sir, um, might i know your name? just in case, y'know, security might ask who picked yuuji up next time?" "um, kamo, choso kamo," he introduced himself in a low voice, with you raising your eyebrows at the familiar name. "k-kamo?" you repeated, as if the way the name rolled from your tongue felt strange. he nodded, already brewing up the explanation in his mind that he never failed to explain time and time again others asked how they had different surnames.
"y'see, yuuji's my half brother," he uttered as the toddler soon felt sleepy and was about to sleep on his brother's shoulders. "we have different fathers, but that doesn't mean he's a stranger to me," choso affirmed, letting yuuji rest on his shoulders. you nodded, feeling a little sympathetic about their family situation, but also feeling as though choso had been somebody you once knew back then, some time in your high school years. "i see... well, i'm glad to know you're both very close," you said with a smile, chuckling under your breath at how absolutely adorable yuuji looked when sleeping on his otherwise stoic looking older brother.
"but i have to ask..." you begin as you look over choso's face once more, searching for some familiarity you may have within his features. choso raised an eyebrow as your voice drifted off as you scoured through your memory where you may have heard the name 'choso kamo' before. you snapped your fingers and widened your eyes when you finally realized just who this man might be. "you were my classmate all throughout my first year in high school!" you exclaimed, grinning.
choso looked at you dumbfounded, he didn't realize you were his old classmate until you pointed it out. "you... were?" he asked you, unsure if the person he was remembering from his hazy memories of high school was the very person he was talking to right now, his younger brother's elementary school teacher. you nodded, smiling wider. "yeah! sorry, i just... i didn't realize it was you! you got taller, your hair's longer, and... i like your makeup," you muttered, giggling a little under your breath. it felt like just yesterday that you were sitting next to one of the most cold and aloof people you had ever laid eyes on in the small world you were in that was high school.
you could remember the goth aesthetic choso had, the chunky boots he'd sneak wearing and get in trouble for, the earphones that were always stuffed in his ears and the occasional lip rings he'd wear when no teacher or discipline officer was in the vicinity; he was oddly cool to you back then. maybe it was just your lack of adventure and rebelliousness in your teenage years, but choso always stood out to you as the kind of person you aspired to be; not goth or a rebel or anything like that, more like a person who lived out their freedom and individuality, throwing caution to the wind and living your life how you wanted to, that was the kind of person choso seemed to you, and you had always yearned to become that kind of person, even now, do you wish you were that free with your life and decisions.
choso's cheeks flushed with red once more, he nodded and murmured his thanks at your compliment. he cleared his throat and tried to look you in the eye, unsure if he should refer to you by the name you preferred to be called in high school, or keep the formalities and call you by the name yuuji called you with the honorifics and all. "i... i'm glad i met you again," he muttered, his face getting redder and redder by the minute.
you nodded and grinned wider. "same here. well, see you and yuuji around, choso; i'll be looking forward to seeing you more often now," you said as you headed back to the classroom to check on the other children, with choso nodding, gazing at you from under his eyelashes. "um, wait..." choso called out to you. "yes?" you asked him, turning around to face him. choso could feel his throat go dry as he struggled to find the words to express what he wanted to ask you right then and there. "c-could i... get your number? f-for emergency purposes, of course..." "...sure thing," you obliged, relieving choso, but simultaneously making his heart pound with anticipation as you wrote your number down and handed it to him.
"how responsible of you, really, i'm really glad yuuji has you as his older brother..." you exclaimed, with the corners of choso's lips curving into a soft, delicate smile. "makes me admire you even more, y'know," you added, making choso's entire face erupt into a blush, making your own face heat up as you smiled and giggled under your breath.

Hi guys ! I’d like to share with you my take on a possible DLC (or even sequel) for Pizza Tower:
Overturned Pizza Tower
(Yeah it’s a working title, I’m not even sure if "overturned" is english…)
Basicaly in the game, Peppino is forced in another dimension by a familiar looking but oddly different Pizzahead and has to conquer the Tower all over again, some stuff here and there are different with different levels and a much more different atmosphere, that being that this alternative tower looks far more luxurious than the canon one, let me know in the comments if you want be to develop on how the tower could look like in this mysterious alternative world

The bosses:
When designing new designs for the bosses, I kept in mind to not go overboard with the modifications, what makes Pizza Tower’s characters so fun to draw is their sheer simplicity, and I must say in some of my early sketches, I was awfully close to the “ORIGINAL CHARACTER, DO NOT STEAL PLEASE” limit. So without further ado, here they are:
Pepperman:
So as you can see, our favourite fabulous pepper is rocking some boots, shades and a jacket, In this timeline his talent was recognised and became quite a celebrity in the tower, experimenting in other forms of art outside of painting such as photography, origami and clothing. I honestly think that the two drawings I did on the bottom left corner that Pepperman would absolutely embrace his fame and wouldn’t mind that much if people always ask him for an autograph in any place he walks in, he would be quite a diva if he could wouldn’t he ? Let me know your opinion on his design and if you think I should change some stuff.
The Vigilante:
Nothing much changes with Vigi here except a tiny scare under his left eye and a peace of turquoise on his hat, in this timeline the Vigilante is known as the "Bullseye" due to the extraordinary capacity of never in any circumstances miss a shot that it be with his gun, lasso or anything else he can throw at you (unless he misses willingly of course), outlaws truly quiver in fear at the site of him because they know they’re doomed. I must say Vigi was the hardest to redesign, because there’s so much you can modify with him until he just looks a slime with goggly eyes, a funny hat and an angry expression with random details… which…is kind of what he is but in a bad way… you know… Again let me know in the comments what is your opinion and if you think something should change.
Fake Peppino:
And here he is, the fan favourite, the goofy goober elderish monster of the saga. In this timeline the only difference is that instead of a tang top he wears an apron that is stained with a bit of… uh… tomato… sauce… yeah tomato sauce and he constantly holds in his right hand a ladle, he’s the proud owner of his own pizzeria of which he takes vey good care of (or at least he’s trying his best) and most of his clients are actually Peppino clones, as long as they pay for their food Fake Peppino don’t mind their presence, any other clients are very rare considering there is a rumours about the chef killing any clients who doesn’t leave a tip…Honestly one of my favourite design so far (wow how original, the goofy goober is my favourite…) once again leave a comment of your opinion and what you think should be different in my design
Final boss:
Yeah sorry I won’t give you my take on the final boss (yet), but if you think a little and look carefully I think you can already gess who’s the big bad guy, I’ll even post something if y’all really want

Chapter 3: Art of Freezing the Moment
Narrated by William.
Narrator: As soon as we got home, I started drawing up plans to replicate some of these buildings in paper.
Susan: Paper craft? That sounds fun! I wanna help!
Narrator: This project is quite complicated. Every step requires patience and attention to detail.
Narrator: As for Susan’s offer to help...
William: Well... how about you help me make a few paper cranes?
William: We can hang them from the eaves. They will look like they are flying around the tower.
Susan: No problem! I can do that!
Narrator: When I am getting to a critical stage in the build...
Narrator: Susan runs towards my desk, excitedly waving around a crane she has made.
Susan: Will! Will! Look what I made!
Narrator: She plonks it down heavily on the table.
Narrator: The little kerosene lamp I had been using for light tips over.
Narrator: The flame quickly engulfs the nearly finished paper tower.
William: CAREFUL, SUSAN!!!
Narrator: I grab the fire extinguisher next to the desk and put it out.
Susan: Noooooo! I’m so sorry, Will...
Narrator: Staring at the still smouldering base of the tower, we get a vivid sense of what happened to those old Cloud Empire buildings.

Narrator: We show everyone the beauty of traditional Cloud Empire architecture.
Narrator: On that day, we stood beside our model and told everyone about our inspiration and our journey to Cloud Empire.
Student A: It’s pure Cloud Empire, baby!
Student B: And paper craft is a Cloud Empire thing, too, right? It looks cool!
Narrator: Our paper tower is still displayed in a cabinet inside the student lobby. Students walk past it every day.
Narrator: Cloud Empire inspires me in so many ways. Its paintings, designs, its alchemy...

Working on a prototype the last few nights, a choose-your-own-adventure origami fortune-teller (is there a better name for this, I know it as the playground game where someone runs up and demands you PICK A COLOUR).
This was to sketch out the idea of it, so dont scrutinise it too closely or you'll see it doesnt make much sense cos I made it up on the go.
But!
I think I could explore this idea in so many different directions and build some really cool design here. I'm sure people must have made this kind of thing before because now I've stumbled on to the idea it seems too obvious to overlook and theres so much design space here.
Anyway I hope you enjoy your jaunt into the wizard's tower! I recommend adventurers start at #8, but it's not up to me. You can go where you please: pick a number.
Another concept here is that I can use this base as a game for introducing people to the idea of ttrpgs as grab bag tasters of different kinds of rpg mechanics/mediums/genres/adventures etc.
I'll see where this goes.

What do they do all day? (More headcanons) I am very bored.
Peppino: Delivers pizzas, but business is shit sooo... He and Gustavo probably play cards while waiting for orders. At home, he watches T.V. or learns new dances. Unbelievably flexible for his age and weight. Goes to Noisette's movie nights every now and again.
Gustavo: Outside of the restaurant, he still loves to cook. He takes his time cooking himself a good dinner (and sometimes will invite Peppino over for a meal. He worries about him.) He likes to teach Brick new tricks or simply pets him. They like to watch shows together. Goes to Noisette's every Monday for movie night.
BONUS Brick: Naps! Big on naps! Likes to snuggle up to Gustavo or lays his head on Gustavo's lap. Has some toys around that he likes to play with. His favorite toy is Gus's shoes.
Mr. Stick: Works in finances, probably works full time. Outside of work, he gambles or stays home and watches whatever show is trending. He either loves it or hates it. Very critical. Enjoys a good nap quite often. Might have a drink or two after 5. Sometimes goes to movie night at Noisette's.
Pepperman: PAINTS, DUH. Outside of painting, he probably does models, like cars or rockets or whatever. He's always trying some new form of art. Tried origami, but his fingers were too big. Definitely cried over it. Not invited to Movie Night Mondays.
The Vigilante: Works on the farm. Feeding the cows, cleaning the pastures, bailing hay, etc. He cries happily every time a calf is born. Loves the farm life, it brings him peace and joy. He prefers it over being the sheriff. However, he usually only works when there's a bounty involved since the western district is pretty quiet crime wise. Goes to Noisette's every other Monday for movie night.
The Noise: Works A LOT. Whether it be on set or in office, he works anywhere from 8-12 hours depending on the day. Typically takes a nap when he gets home unless it's close to dinnertime. After that, he might watch an episode or two of something (and criticizes it, much like Mr. Stick. He thinks his shows are almost always better.) Sometimes he might play a bit of video games. On his days off, he practices skate tricks, naps, or gets into trouble. Might "accidentally" get a little too drunk in The Pig City and have to call Noisette for a ride home. Doesn't usually participate in Movie Night Mondays, because he doesn't like the people. Calls his mom every Tuesday.
Noisette: The cafe is only open 3-4 days a week from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., with her getting home around 1 or 1:30. She has a group of friends, her girls, who she goes to brunch with occasionally. They definitely gossip. I imagine them like a younger, less boring version of Sex and The City. While Noise is gone, she watches his shows. For some reason, he gets all bashful when she watches them while he's around. She's his #1 fan, after all. She also watches a lot of cheesy shows and movies. Loves romcoms and chick flicks. Hosts Movie Night Mondays with just about everyone she knows. Except Pepperman. She despairs him.
Fake Peppino: Depending on the day, he will sit and stare at the wall ALL DAY. He doesn't always need entertainment. He might help out Gerome and clean up whatever Gerome simply can't stomach (guts, bones, etc.) Some days, he's silly. He'll zoom around the slum. He might want to play. (Stated in a previous post) He likes to play fetch and tug if war, typically using something important... Like a gun or a knife. Something he isn't supposed to have, he will pick up and run away from whoever is trying to take it from him. Only allowed to explore the rest of the tower when SUPERVISED, typically being kept on some sort of leash. Pizzahead refers to this activity as "walking the frog." Goes to Noisette's every Monday for movie night.
Pizzaface: Surprisingly, he's typically on autopilot unless it's SHOWTIME. He floats around the tower keeping everything and everyone in check. Basically a security guard. Plays cards in the saloon with Noisette every now and then. Might knock over one of Pepperman's statues for a laugh. Might go to Vigi's and pet a cow. Might argue with The Noise just for the sake of pissing Noise off. Sometimes has long talks with John or Gerome, feels bad that they got caught up in the tower mess.
Pizzahead: Works in the lab a lot. Always trying to create the perfect clone. Sometimes will tinker with Pizzaface's mechanics. Goes to the cafe every now n then to grab a coffee and chat with Noisette. Dresses up like a cowboy and has a drink at the saloon. Stalks Peppino. Might take the frog for a walk. Not allowed at The Fun Farm after he tried to steal a baby cow. "It was just so cute!" Will talk to John on the fifth floor, much to John's dismay. He also chats with the toppin monsters and tinkers with their gears. Always goes to Movie Night Mondays, he and Noisette are besties despite her not realizing that he's the "Pizzaboy Guy."
Pillar John: Stares at the wall. He can't do much else since he's stuck in the fifth floor bound by cheese. Might chat with Pizzahead out of boredom, even if he doesn't like him. Talks with Gerome at any chance they get. Made good friends with Gustavo while Peppino was running through the levels. Wishes he could go to Movie Night Mondays. Also wishes he could go to the cafe and order some food (crazy, I know, but based off the treasures used to resurrect him in the end, I think it's safe to assume he'd eat LITERALLY anything.)
Gerome: He doesn't get to do much of anything but his job. Might sneak away for lunch, a nap, or to chat with John. Goes to the cafe for a coffee. Might have a chat with Peppino or Gustavo. Mostly avoids everyone else. Wishes he could go to Movie Night Mondays, Noisette still invites him every single week.

make a wish, 1,037 words
bdubs had thought it was all settled after ren stepped down. but really, nothing had been settled. there were still royal emeralds in the shops, inventories overflowing with pie, hermits asking for their diamonds back. they now had twenty useless diamond towers instead of four, and a giant statue of ren overseeing spawn. and--here was the kicker, the real rub, the universe spitting in bdubs' eye--they still needed to build roads!
so the hermits, in true hermit fashion, had called a meeting. and, in even truer hermit fashion, the meeting was stretching deep into the night, issues being endlessly hemmed and hawed over, cleo and jevin feuding, impulse diligently scratching out his notes, and no. roads. being. built.
bdubs balanced on the back two legs of his chair and kept his mouth shut. he had made ren king, that had been his solution. but noooo, the ungrateful public hadn't wanted that. oh no, we don't want fun quests and maybe a little bit of corruption and lots of beautiful roads! we want meetings!
bdubs rolled his eyes. he should be sleeping, but every time he tried to sneak out of the meeting tango shot him a venemous look. it was clear that as long as they were all stuck here, bdubs was stuck here too.
and then there was etho, sitting across the table from bdubs, so still that bdubs knew he had to be sleeping. bdubs pulled a few faces, just to check. there was no response from etho, but, down the table, scar stifled a laugh.
experiment inconclusive, bdubs folded a piece of paper into a neat little origami triangle. he took aim and flicked it full power. it flew across the table and nailed etho straight in the forehead. scar gave a bark of laughter which he smothered into a cough. etho startled awake with a snort, and, after glancing up and down the table, narrowed in on bdubs as the culprit. maybe it was because bdubs was covering his mouth, shaking in silent laughter.
etho jabbed his index finger towards bdubs, then drew his thumb across his neck. the message was clear. "you, dead." bdubs pointed to himself, a picture of innocence. "who, me?"
at the end of the table, false and xisuma were droning on about currency exhanges, apparently uninterrupted by the scuffle at bdubs' end.
bdubs shot his hand into the air.
"you don't have to raise your hand, you know," impulse noted. false and xisuma broke off their conversation and peered down the table.
"permission to speak?" bdubs requested.
"you don't really need permission to speak either--"
"I would like to request a fifteen minute recess! I need to walk around, my back is killing me."
"okay, old man," pearl snorted.
"objection!" bdubs shouted. "I am not old."
impulse sighed. "yeah, let's take a break. but you all better be back in fifteen minutes exactly! we still need to decide what to do with the diamond towers."
the table groaned.
bdubs all but leapt out of his chair. he hadn't been kidding, his back really was killing him. he joined the crowd of hermits as they shuffled out of the meeting room.
etho fell in to step behind him.
"follow me," etho said. "I want to show you something."
bdubs glanced over his shoulder at etho. "what, your fist in my face? I know how this goes, buddy boy."
etho huffed. "it's nice, I promise."
"your mouth in my face?"
etho made a strangled noise and grabbed bdubs' hand, tugging him out of the current of the crowd.
bdubs smiled and laced his fingers with etho's, happy to be led along for a little tête-à-tête with his beloved.
etho pushed open the door, the cold night breeze enveloping them as etho brought him outside. it was almost midnight, the moon high in the sky. bdubs shivered and leaned closer to etho for warmth. "what did you want to show me, cutie pie? a good time?"
"no," etho laughed, "the stars! you never get to see them, sleeping all the time." he was flustered for some reason, which was stupidly cute.
"ah, yes," bdubs intoned, facing the sky. "the stars." he was pretty sure he had looked at the stars before. he may have even been to some.
"there's an asteroid shower I've been keeping an eye on." etho said, pointing into the heavens. "that way, to the south." bdubs tucked himself against etho's front and lifted up on to his toes, trying to align his gaze with etho's arm.
"there, do you see?" etho asked, voice low. his breath tickled bdubs' ear.
bdubs squirmed, trying to ignore the heat ignited in his stomach. he squinted into the sky. sure, there were sure a lot of stars, but they weren't exactly moving... except--"wait!" bdubs gasped. "I saw a shooting star!"
"you gotta make a wish," etho prompted, lowering his arm and wrapping it around bdubs' waist, pulling bdubs flush against him. "that's one server, gone forever."
"oh," bdubs sighed, feeling a little wistful, remembering all the worlds he had left behind, worlds that he would never see again. there had been nether hubs and arenas, airplanes and death games, friends and enemies, castles and crastles-- and through it all, etho.
"I made my wish," bdubs said.
"that was fast," etho chuckled. "was it a good one?"
"pretty good, I think." bdubs turned in etho's arms and kissed his nose through the mask, watched his whole face crinkle into a smile. "and it's mostly come true, anyways."
etho hummed, eyes warm. "long meetings make you sappy."
"and you sleepy."
"are you trying to fight?"
bdubs leaned his cheek against etho's chest, smiling. "no, I'm not."
they stood quietly for a moment, etho smoothing his hand over bdubs' back. bdubs cleared his throat. "and, for the record, you're the sap. taking me stargazing, come on."
etho jabbed him in the side and bdubs pulled back, giggling.
impulse's voice rang out through the night. "hey! where is everyone? recess over."
bdubs pulled back, grimacing. etho's expression mirrored his. "well, back we go."
bdubs slid his hand into etho's and swung their joined hands between them. "I just want roads," he whined.
"I don't want anything!" etho countered.
"you poor innocent guy, getting swept up in all our nonsense. oh wait, you killed me at the king's vault."
etho snickered and tugged bdubs towards him, pressing a kiss to his hair.
they walked back inside and the door shut softly behind them.

Love the bleak opening sequence

Ep2- “…Peter Quill Attacked Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?”
Cool intro; Peter leaning into his inherent powers is interesting…
The Winter Soldier being Gorbachev’s tool to contain Peter is surprising, but not unexpected…
“Does anyone have a plan?”/“I have a plan; retreat.” 😂
Thor announcing that Peter killed off all the Nine Realms except Earth; Peter needed containment to prevent him being too powerful.
Hope breaking Peter out is unexpected.
But Peter defeating his dad is a great ending.
Ep3- “…Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?”
Cool X’mas riff in the beginning music
Avengers Tower… looking festive.
Happy getting accidentally injected with Banner blood is unexpected.
Beethoven’s 9th riff playing when Darcy discovers a whole collection!
“Time for the Hammer to get nailed” 🤣
Overall, great X’mas episode.

Gamora’s origin story is a Tony Stark episode that looks to focus a bit on Valkyrie? Interesting…
Wonder what Gamora is doing there.
The little Chinchilla is adorable.
Tony with the nicknames (“Technicolor Dream Coat” is a Andrew Lloyd Webber musical reference) is hilarious
Also, Tony building a suit that reforms into a race car on command, and back, is AWESOME
Turns out, Tony inspired Gamora to be a hero.
Gamora melting Thanos, did not see that coming.
Ep5- “…Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?”
Cool Avengers team; with Carter and Janet instead of Steve and Banner.
It’s kind of what if 2012’s Battle of New York went differently. Then we pick up kind of CATWS but it’s Peggy and Nat.
Peggy’s spin-twist was really cool.
The whole reverse-CATWS but instead of Bucky gone bad and Steve finding out, it’s Steve gone bad and Peggy finding out.
Bucky as a Secretary of State? Did NOT see that coming. But makes sense that Bucky would be the one to try to bring Steve back. Truly a reverse CATWS.
The Stomper Suit keeping Steve alive, I wonder how.
Carter’s hilarious Star Wars reference to carbonite.
Also, the camera panning around Steve and Peggy, is a mirror of the Tony/Pepper one in Endgame.
Melina being part robot is also kind of creepy.
Captain Carter having a musical is hilarious too
Also, the emotional vibes kind of veering into CACW and “Black Widow” territory is quite fascinating.
Peggy disappears thru a portal, only to be greeted by Wanda.
Ep6- “…Kahhori Reshaped the World?”
Ragnarok comes early…
Also, this episode isn’t the first time we see the horrors of Spanish conquistadors invading on native land; we last saw that in Wakanda Forever a few years ago.
But when the Watcher narrates the context, it mirrors the Black Panther movie’s narrative about how the Vibranium came to Earth and ended with the peacemaking between various tribes.
Also great to note that this is the first MCU entry where nobody, except the Watcher (and Stephen Strange at the end) speaks English.
It’s really awesome that the Space Stone energy gives the people from the Sky World (who are formerly Mohawk natives from Earth) and Kahhori very, VERY interesting powers.
KAHHORI MOVED THE PORTAL TO THE LAND!! That is an insane amount of power and strength! That’s wonderful!
Kahhori and her people sinking the Spanish Armada is a sight to behold.
Ep7- “…Hela Found the Ten Rings?”
Hela suddenly being able to speak Putonghua was a surprise.
Odin says that the bearer of Hela’s crown be merciful, which explains why Hela is at first unable to lift it. Just like the first Thor movie.
I kind of wonder why Wenwu would invite Hela to wear a traditional dress; but more importantly, why does he have one ready?
MORRIS RETURNS!! Best fuzzy thing.
Hela visits Talo.
Folding paper. That’s basically Origami. IRL history has it that China has its own paper folding traditions long ago, just like Japan, but separately.
Hela being upset that Fenrir as a puppy was taken from her, is something interesting too.
Asgard, a realm of Norse legend, and Ta Lo, a fictitious Chinese fantasy realm, coming together to free the cosmos, is something I did not see coming.
Ep8- “…the Avengers Assembled in 1602?”
Tom Hiddleston as Loki narrating Hamlet? Not surprising.
Wanda summoned Carter from three episodes ago, and turns out Thor knew about this here.
But what are those portals? Wanda warns to stop them.
Wanda speaks of a lost traveler…
Tony says “Forerunner” but the caption says “person”.
Loki speaking of William Shakespeare writing about Iago in the play Othello.
Rogers Hood. Hilarious combo of Steve Rogers and Robin Hood.

The main effect is that Carter is alone again.
Strange Supreme makes an appearance. Which we leave on a “TBC” for next episode. The fact that he went to fetch Kahhori in Ep6 must mean something big is in the finale…
Ep9- “…Strange Supreme Intervened?”
Interesting; we get the full MCU theme for the title card. We never got the full theme in previous episodes.
Peggy speaks with Strange, who keeps dangerous beings inside their own little crystals.
If the Watcher is a metaphor for us, and Strange implying that the Watcher may not always be right, that means that we might not also always be right about certain things.
Peggy enters South Dakota… where Red Skull (HYDRA) exploded the Tesseract. But why would Kahhori be a danger to the Multiverse, considering Strange net with her last episode? Why is she considered a danger in this one?
Also, Kahhori now speaks English. Not odd, per se, but it helps. She says Strange is “a universe killer.” Which, in some way, he is.
Also, a dragon from Ta Lo, which kinda sells the point.
Hela being insulted that Kahhori sent the swords back is hilarious 😆
Peggy gets an Infinity Armor is pretty to cool. Also, Peggy and Kahhori vs Strange? That’s also really cool.
Peggy gets sent back to her home, but it’s an illusion, and she sees right through it.
Though, playing with the lives of so many people to face Strange, that’s a weird effect, perhaps meant to be “comedic” in a way, but comes off as cruel, which might have been the more intended effect.
Also, the characters falling to the portal just basically overpowering Peggy with their weapons? It’s very interesting because it’s not overpowering her for no reason, she NEEDS to be overpowered to stop an already over-powered Strange. She needs to be MORE than him to win.She gets Hela’s crown, a large sword, and multiple other weapons, while Kahhori uses her powers to lift Thor’s hammers and also uses the Ten Rings. Both Peggy and Kahhori MUST be overpowered to overpower Strange and stop him.
Strange becomes a huge devil monster and falls into the Forge.
Peggy goes to the Watcher.
S2E9 ending exactly as Loki S2E6 did, that’s interesting.
