IDK for sure but looking at that blog that posted the li lilli photos (orientallyyours) it looks... quite racist in the way it’s presenting historical stuff (and focusing on British chinoiserie etc). Like even their icon if you zoom in on it is a “memorabilia” thing that’s a caricature.
Hi, I think your observation is quite correct... I don’t follow them so I don’t know for sure what their opinions are, but when I reblog I do so for the posts themselves not because I endorse op’s views. I stumbled across that photo and reblogged without too much thinking, sorry about that. If that blog makes anybody uncomfortable I won’t reblog from them again. I’ll make sure to look at blogs more closely before reblogging in the future, thanks for pointing it out.
P.S. I don’t encourage anybody writing “oriental” anywhere on their blog it puts many people off for a reason.

Nancy Sheung’s portraits of Hong Kong women in the 1960s and that plays on architectural elements and shapes, shadows and lines. Sheung (1914–1979) was a renowned pictorialist photographer who came to photography in her 40s when she purchased her first camera. She took thousands of photographs across East Asia and Hong Kong from the late 1950s to the early ’70s.
