Alright fuckers. Here is some analysis from someone who has hated the guy since I found out what he's done. Yes I'm talkin about Peepaw Willy here.
So with the pages Link, the person I'm submitting this to, posted there are some things to consider. Canon FNAF is actually really vague on some things. The murders are a prime example, it was hella obvious that William is the one who killed them, but not the one who put them in the suits. The Marionette is the one who was shown to put the children in there as a "gift." Then you find out later that Charlie Emily was murdered first and put inside that suit. So it's not an exaggeration to say that she made that choice for them but again, not really confirmed.
But Kole, I hear you asking, what does this have to do with William's choice to murder. Well you see, I don't think it was what he was aiming for at first. Let's take a look at his work schedule, fucker worked relentlessly, that is a canon thing. Worked late nights, since he was a founder of Freddy's, Baby's, and a robotics company, it's safe to say he was a very tired man. When you are that tired, you are more easily suggested into things. And since he was working at an already haunted attraction. Anything could happen during the late nights and early mornings.
You wanna say that's a stretch? Fine. How about after the first murder, Charlie. It was no secret that again, in canon, Henry and William were buddies. So killing someone who in the very least, you've known their whole life, doesn't do great things to your already tired mind. So whatever got him to kill the first time could easily use the distress to make him kill again. And again...And again-
Which brings my next point. He didn't kill Michael. I want you to really hear me when I say this. He chose not to kill his son. He could have easily done so when he left. If William truly was unaffected but all of this and did not care about anyone but himself, he would have killed Michael. No problems about it. Michael was a teen, William's killed one of those before. What would be one more to him. But no, instead of killing or forcing Michael to be just like him, he left.
And then we get to the journals of William. If he felt no guilt, no remorse, if he was so sure of himself and what he was doing; he wouldn't have gone mad. You see a very obvious and gradual decrease of his mental health and how love turns into bitterness and hate. People who don't regret their actions with a situation don't suddenly have a mental break out of no where.
AND FINALLY. He keeps coming back, to anything Freddy's related specifically. As much as it's become a meme, there seems to be a reason for that. Freddy's is at the center of this, anyone with a knowledge of the attractions would be able to follow the same paper trail Michael did. Maybe, just maybe, William needs someone else to end him. He's dug his grave so far in that whatever has a hold on him, won't let go. He needs someone else to pull that trigger. Playing God only works but for so long until you have to sit down with yourself (which he has had to do a lot and not by choice) and go, "Y'know I don't like how this turned out." And once you admit one small thing to yourself, everything else eventually follows and smacks you.
So.
TL;DR William Afton is a shitty dude but fuck guys, he can still be an unwilling participant.
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
And we can't forget the canon implications surrounding Charlie's death either, namely that we aren't even sure William actually killed her.
We know he was THERE when she died, but unlike every other 8bit mini game death, there was no blood on Charlie
Several people have theorized that a combination of the cold, the rain, and the strain from being scared and alone was enough to overwork such a young child's heart. To my knowledge (yes that is a disclaimer) we don't ACTUALLY know for certain if it was even a murder at all! I'd like to think that with how consistent each 8bit mini game was, there would've been blood animations, like there was for William, when Charlie died IF she had been murdered.
But let's say William DID kill Charlie, this is where those implications I was talking about earlier come in. We learn from Midnight Motorist that William was an alcoholic, and with the clear absence of Elizabeth from the Afton household we're led to belive this is AFTER her death, but before Crying Child's. Put simply, William was NOT handling her death well. It's 100% possible that William was drunk the night he drove to the restaurant while Charlie was locked outside.
It's possible that he killed her on accident
William, in his drunken state, might not have even known that it was Charlie until the next morning, when Henry gave him the news.
So if Charlie WASNT murdered, or her death WAS an accident from poor decisions and grief, it's not unreasonable to see how little he actually planned at least her death.
Now I'm NOT saying he didn't kill the other children on purpose, because he did, HOWEVER his reason as he stated HIMSELF was so that he could give the children their happiest day, so he could make a family that couldn't leave him.
Remnant is THE driving force behind everything William does, because he knows that if he can keep it tethered to this world, the person is never truly gone.
I think that William, stricken with grief at the loss of his two youngest children, drove himself mad trying to save his family. He chased a power only made known to him once he saw Charlie was still hanging around after her death, he tried to play God, and like every character who tried to play God, was driven to insanity by it.
William believed he could save his children, and his grief made him desperate to put them back together, to fix whatever was left of them so he didn't have to say goodbye to them. He only wanted Michael dead once he actively tried to undo everything William gave his life to achieve. William could have killed Michael a thousand times ever, but he didn't, because he couldn't stand to lose the last of his children. But that desperation to hold onto whatever you have left CAN be overpowered. William could not let Michael destroy everything he achieved, it would, in William's mind, equate to sacrificing his life for nothing. To have given everything: his life, his family, his morals, his sanity. To have given everything he had just to watch it fail in the end was something William could not allow. So even if it meant killing his own son to protect what he had made, William was not going to fail

Please rant abt fnaf interpretations I am, all ears
.I didn't expect such a positive response! 8D I got a few asks for them, and I'll see if maybe I can reply to a few of them with different interpretations...
...Also-
Tumblr media
Let's begin with the rants. You might've seen some of these points before, but I'll bring them back up because I desire to.
1. The ghosts of the Missing Children are evil.
I don't read a lot of fanworks anymore, but I used to loathe when I would find those fics where the murdered children would be portrayed as vindictive little monsters who were going out of their way to ruin everyone's lives. Possessing main characters and forcing animatronics to go against their wishes to attack innocents for little reason.
I find this is the reason I also don't like the "animatronics are sentient and possessed by second consciousness" headcanon. Not all of them are bad, mind, you, but many of them eventually go the earlier route.
Why I hate this is because it's never a situation where we're being led to see the children as sympathetic, or corrupted by time, but a way to make the Missing Children less sympathetic to the audience. Or to raise drama by having a slew of ghosts who feel no sympathy and cannot be stopped.
Other versions show them as being especially bratty or excessively mischievous, which I just find a little annoying.
Funny enough, I don't think a child's soul going rogue is a bad idea. Such as in the case of Andrew, who I feel was massively underutilized. You can just tell when it is a pull to make the reader see in a specific direction. You can tell when there's a subconscious desire to make the murders seem 'not that bad'.
Also, the idea that the ghosts of dead children are evil because they're looking for justice for their deaths is kind of frustrating when so many headcanons try to excuse William's actions by suggesting that something traumatic triggered them.
Of course, in these cases the children are seldom actually looking for their murderer and instead are just circling around someone else.
...Oh yeah, and since we're on it-
2. William killed those children for revenge. (As a defense)
Specifically, when this is NOT used as a plotpoint, but instead used as a blame shield for William Afton. You can usually tell the difference by how the effect is cast on William.
If the tone is: William lost someone and then went on a kamikaze mission to ruin everyone's lives. Then typically it's fine.
If the tone is: William killed a lot of people- but he only did it because he lost his x! Then it gets frustrating.
It's the same boat as that Henry depression excuse, though it's worse in this case because William didn't just murder children, it's suggested that he hunted and tortured them, and then brought them back to continue making them suffer as animatronics.
3. William was a scientist.
Don't give him that much credit. This man didn't start doing science experiments until the plot got so elaborate that they needed to one-up him with himself.
4. Henry was a good father.
I absolutely loathe this one, because it hinges off of the novel's version of Henry, who actively abandoned one of his children to obsess on the other one. To the point of forcibly bringing them back without caring if the other existed- and then ditching that one too.
Sammy Emily does not exist to the FNAF fanbase. He's not a sympathetic character or an important character, he's just a plotpoint that's written out when it comes time for the big Shyamalan twist. He's pretty much totally ignored.
And by his father too. Henry never acknowledges Sammy, never cares about Sammy. He only cares about what happened to Charlie.
...But not enough to do anything about it.
Which is why I think a little acknowledgement that Henry wasn't great just because he died would go a long way. I won't even go into his more egregious actions.
5. Circus Baby's sexualization.
This is one actually backed by canon, but that doesn't make it any better. I hate the constant sexualization of Circus Baby... and especially the hypocrisy that surrounds it.
Let me give you one example of an event I had once.
When I was first writing CGHA and Mike and Mari got together, there were a lot of people who apparently missed the numerous references to the fact that Mari had aged in his many years as a puppet. This meant that Mari was now an adult, but they said since he died as a child that he is still a child. The word pedophilia was dropped a few times.
These are the SAME people who are all gung-ho about Baby dolled up in a sexy human body with skimpy skirts and long boots, dolled up by her daddy. But isn't SHE still a child?
Well, no... Because she's a bad girl, so she doesn't count.
Get off with that.
6: Vanny is in love with William Afton.
Unless we're talking Stockholm Syndrome, I don't think you're going to love a demonic entity possessing you and threatening to break your fingers if you do the wrong thing. I guess you can say that's abusive love, but like Joker and Harley Quinn, people somehow manage to forget that aspect.
I've gone into this before, so I'm not going to rant on it again. Largely because I don't know how FNAF will portray Vanny, and it's not above them to take inspiration from other sources.
Now, unlike some of these other headcanons, I THINK someone could actually write a story and make this work if they acknowledged that it was beyond "toxic". Vanny would have to be emotionally and mentally crippled to respond positively to such treatment, but it is possible if it was backed up with behavioral issues and a backstory.
You'd have to get on Silent Hill 2 levels of backstory, but it is possible if you want to go that dark.
---
I think I'll end it there for now. I know some of these might be hot takes, but I'm just voicing my thoughts here. Again, not saying anyone's wrong for holding these interpretations, but I think they should consider why they hold them.
Because it looks to me like these are used-
1: To make this Missing Children Incident less severe. 2: To make William Afton more sympathetic. 3: To make William Afton look cool. 4: To make Henry a martyr in contrast with William. 5: To have a forced femme fatal. 6: To underplay how gross the possession aspect- especially when it is a middle-aged man in complete control of a young woman's body and actions.
...But hey! That's just me. Rant over, for now. XD

Made a tier list of FNaF media!!! Not counting the activity book or the security survival log because those don’t really add anything, they’re just neat activities or summaries of game info
I explained the choices under the cut, equal parts personal bias and objective opinion, so if you think differently then hey, good on ya!
Going down to up XD
F
The Silver Eyes Graphic Novel: Do I even need to explain this one? Rushed art with countless mistakes, horrid coloring, samey designs, the important scenes come off as bland and even goofy instead of impactful. It’s clear Pinky wasn’t used to drawing humans, the colorist had no idea what they were doing, and no one on the team made a graphic novel before. It’s laughable how bad this was XD
E
The Fourth Closet: Does anyone really know what happened at the end? I... really don’t like what they did with Charlie in this one. I don’t like how William was able to get out of his Springtrap- it was SUPPOSED to trap him, and yet he just... is out of it... I think the whole thing with Baby being like this hot clown girl instead of what she is in Sister Location is very... ... it exists... Tbh I respect the bold direction it took, but I honestly felt it was too much of a stretch and just didn’t work.
D
FNaF AR, Special Delivery: Not bad! The character models and voice acting is where the game shines most. Other than that, there isn’t really much substantial to the game other than some lore with Vanny/Ness and Luis. The gameplay can get frustrating sometimes(I cant collect remnant, read my mail, or even work on my own animatronics without DING DONG SOMEONES HERE every 5 seconds), and all you do is spin in a circle until you get glitchy, look away if they get glitchy, or zap them when they run at you. Some people probably love this game and good on them for that, but I find myself not touching it for weeks at a time.
Freddy In Space 2: GREAT game for charity, great art, great music! ... That’s all it has going for it, though. It was clear that this was a quickly made game designed to be beaten in one sitting, and it did exactly what it needed to do! Other than being amazing how it was for charity, the game doesn’t have that much going for it(except introducing Lolzhax aka BEST ROBO), so overall not bad but also did almost nothing outside of being for the Charity Livestream XD
Fazbear Frights, Into The Pit: Again, not bad! A nice collection of short stories, almost like goofy campfire horror you’d tell to kids... like goosebumps! I felt each story was REALLY lacking in some areas, but I liked the general idea they were going for. That being said, they’re moreso neat scary stories with the name FNaF attached than anything else(except maybe the first of the three). It hints that they have an overarching plot that will be covered in future books, but as of right now, I feel no one’s missing out by not reading them.
C
FNaF 3: A satisfying end to the original trilogy story! Purple Guy gets justice, everything gets tied together with a neat bow, and the first arc in the series comes to an end. Also Springtrap, aka my favorite. This game is riddled with neat 8-bit minigames and bits of lore, but the gameplay itself is where I find it not as good as the S A and B tiers. The new setup with the system reboots are def really interesting, but other than that, each night is just... the same thing but harder. Most other games introduce different characters on different difficulties per night, but since Springtrap is the only deadly one, it’s just... him more aggressive each night and systems failing more often. Makes the gameplay pretty repetitive and frustrating after Night 3 or so.
FNaF 4: The beginning of what I like to call the Afton saga(4, SL, FFPS, UCN)! This is when the lore began to get REALLY good... and also really confusing. Props for it taking such a bold direction by taking place in a child’s bedroom instead of in an office with cameras, its a neat change of pace! That being said, the gameplay can get frustrating and there’s a high learning curve for needing to listen to each sound the anmatronics make. Also lore wise... there really isn’t much! Just mainly focuses on what happened to this poor kid. Also the box still being a loose end... yeah.
The Twisted Ones: I enjoyed this one! It had a very interesting direction that kinda kept me guessing on what was going on, and this is when Scott really started nailing in the foreshadowing for the reveal in TFC. The Twisted animatronics are SO cool, and the introduction of those little alteration chips provided new context to games like 4 and SL! That being said, I don’t remember it being... that memorable? I also didn’t like how Charlie’s and John’s relationship was... so awkward... It was neat, but honestly nothing to really go crazy over, in my opinion.
B
The Silver Eyes: Honestly, I adored this book when I read it back in 2016, before Sister Location happened. At the time I wasn’t trying to connect it to any lore, so it was really great just to see a sort of retelling of the FNaF story. A lot of people complained about how long it was... I might agree if I reread it but tbh it never bothered me before. It was delightfully creepy, yet had a simple plot and wasn’t NEARLY as out there as TTO and TFC. Especially TFC. I felt this book didnt need 2 sequels and would’ve been just fine on its own, but whatcha gonna do. Carlton is forever my fav, and it’s the first time we really learn about Henry AND it was the first time we got a name for our Purple Guy: William Afton!
Sister Location: I like this one for just how bold of a game it was. I’m also including SL’s Custom Night wrapped into this package. Jam packed with lore, our first (main) game with VOICE ACTING, and honestly the humor has no right being as good as it is. I love how this not only expanded on the crying child from 4′s story, but also gives us so much Elizabeth and Michael content. The gameplay has a lot of unbalanced features and feels a little too over the place at times, but I appreciate where it was going with it!
FNaF World: ... This one is pure personal bias. A lot of people don’t like it. I adore it. Honestly I love the cute overworld, I love beating up enemies as my favorite animatronics, I love the horror, nihilism, and lore shoved into this game alongside SO MUCH humor. Update 2 was nothing short of an absolute delight and... wait, no!!! FNaF World had our first voice acting!!! So many endings and nods to other games Scott’s made, a cool scene with Desk Man/Henry and Baby, just... muah. Good content. Also Scott 57 <3
A
Ultimate Custom Night: Name a better way to end the Afton Saga, I’ll wait. It’s so obvious how much time, thought, and care went into this one. I love how the game rewards you with funny cutscenes the higher scores you get, and I just! So much voice acting! I love how each preset- no, each character has their own moves so every time you do a certain mode, you need to learn to manage them all and get a good strategy. I like how it’s way more strategy and skill than the RNG that many previous games had. Also, Scott!!! You managed to put this into the LORE by making it William’s hell, MUAH, couldnt have done it better!!!
FNaF 2: This one might have bias for being the peak of the fandom, but it was one of the greatest times to be in that fandom. Freaking out over the trailers, theories galore, prequel vs sequel, and just... so good. 1 didn’t have much plot, 2 DID. 2 had more mechanics and strategy to it than 1, and gave us over twice as many characters! We finally got a “face” to our killer, Mr. Purple Man, and how could I ever complain about more Phone Guy~? This one also introduced the 8-bit minigames, which became a HUGE staple for the series! Perfect expansion of the first!
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator: The PERFECT blend of old and new gameplay. The salvage scenes are intense, the nights had a great balancing mechanic of juggling doing tasks while also avoiding animatronics, multiple endings, and a neat tycoon segment to give the player a breather... but with LORE!!! Midnight Motorist is easily one of the best tracks in the series. Also has a GREAT canonical ending, when(with paired with UCN), ties the plots of 1-6 SO nicely with a neat bow.
S
FNaF 1: Okay. From a personal and gameplay standpoint, I was going to put this much lower. Like B or C. That being said... this has to go in S. Yes, it has the least lore and arguably the worst gameplay(too much RNG for 4/20 mode), but this was the game. I can’t even exaggerate when I say just how much FNaF changed not only the gaming community, but especially the horror and indie communities. So many names got big from this: Markiplier, Dawko, Game Theory, The Living Tombstone, DA Games, SCOTT HIMSELF, just to name a few!!! And to think, this was originally going to be Scott’s last game! FNaF changed gaming HISTORY, and I think that alone makes this title deserving of S.
FNaF VR, Help Wanted: Okay, personal bias time, but I truly think VR deserves this S. Seeing Glitchtrap for the first time incited a panic in me that I hadn’t felt since FNaF 1 and 2. You get FNaF 1-4 in one, all in VR, WONDERFUL character models that you can WATCH MOVE!!! SO many minigames and fun challenges to play, so many neat knickknacks to collect, the Halloween update is FANTASTIC. The introduction of some great characters, such as: Glitchtrap, Vanny, Tape Girl, Dreadbear, Grim Foxy, etc!!! There’s also just- something so nice about being able to see every office and the pizzeria in 3D spaces where you can look around! Just from a gameplay and environment standpoint, this was an AMAZING addition and deserves the S.
... Thanks for listening to me ramble XD If you disagree... then good for you! I won’t fight anyone on this, I’m aware that this is a lot of personal bias. But if you made it this far... thanks for hearing me ramble!!!!

IT'S PRIDE MONTH
for a moment there I accidentally had Pierce's photo under Marian's name oop
Time to officially confirm some AU canon LGBT stuff! Each character is their own pride flag but I'll add in other stuff that's canon in universe plus some bonus stuff at the bottom.
First up is Freddy Fazbear Jr! Gay all the way.
Tumblr media
He's definitely the "move I'm gay" type
Was honestly super freaked out to tell his dad but went with the bold approach of bringing home his first boyfriend and blatantly announcing their relationship as such as a challenge and was honestly surprised his dad wasn't bothered by it
He was around 13 at the time and so the twins and Fred were still in touch with Maddie's parents and brother. All three were incredibly supportive (and still would be)
He absolutely had a crush on Bonnie Burnette even though he had never talked to him. Since the twins and Bonnie went to the same high school he knew of Bonnie, thought he was a dreamboat, but because Bonnie was somehow in with the popular kids (it was the money 100%) Freddy didn't even bother
Frankie Fazbear! My ace son! (The ears are wrong blame the app lol)
Tumblr media
Honestly doesn't even know he's ace until much later
He's had crushes before but he's never been in a relationship (part of it is the attempt to communicate since he's mute sort of stops him)
He wasn't even sure it was worth mentioning to his dad so Fred never knew
This boy can hold so much love in his heart but he's not a very physical person that's all
Fred Fazbear Sr! YES. HE'S BI.
Tumblr media
Only Maddie even knew he was bi. That he knew of. Some people probably figured it out with his over the top always on personality.
Fred was constantly sure that Pierce picked up on it particularly after the Christmas mistletoe fiasco but if Pierce gave a shit he never said anything.
Frankly it was amazing that more people didn't pick up on it. He was over the top about everything until a point.
While he didn't overreact to his son very blatantly announcing he had a boyfriend, he was very proud of him. It was a very Fazbear family way to come out. Even though he got so distant, he was always proud of his boys.
Bonnie Burnette! Also bi!
Tumblr media
Being constantly surrounded by the popular crowd and always being the sort of stand out with purple hair and stupid purple bunny ears didn't do much to make Bonnie feel like he could even tell anyone he was bi.
Really the only reason he was even in the popular crowd was he was rich.
It made him less of a target for bullies at least cause the jocks wouldn't stand for anyone messing with him.
Knew Frankie from math class and honestly wished he could have talked to the quiet kid with bear ears as an alternative to the entirety of the popular group
Sort of in the background of the AU story very quietly develops a crush on Freddy and then thinks "oh God I like the troublemaker NO"
Chandler Cicily! Lesbian!
Tumblr media
Would absolutely describe her sexuality as "girls"
She's starting to discover it during the AU (even if it's not a topic that comes up but that's why there's this post about stuff lmao).
She's the baby of the group since she's 16 when the story starts and relationships aren't important to her yet
But the crew still support her when later she's like "maybe I just wanna bake things for a cute girl and let her put flowers in my hair is that too much to ask" (Marian always chimes in with "mood")
Tumblr media
Marian Mengele! An absolute bi icon!
Listen, her one goal in life may be to find her lost childhood friend, but that doesn't mean she's solely interested in this one Irish redhead
That said she's definitely only dated redheads
She's not afraid to be open about her orientation. It doesn't bother her. She's seen as weird already what can it hurt.
That said she falls for Finn so goddamn fast when she finds him that she questions herself and then is like "no wait I'm definitely not straight"
She's very upfront with Finn about it. There's no reason to hide this from him (or anyone) and if they're a thing she wants him to know.
Finn being the wonderful human being still loves her and it doesn't bother him. Why should it? He's just happy to be with someone who loves him.
Chetana might be Chandler's fake big sister but Marian is like fake mama when it comes to Chandler finally coming out.
God bless Finn for being the kind of person to sit and let Marian braid his hair with flowers because that's one of Marian's favorite things to do when her partner has longer hair and Finn's never really bothered with keeping his hair short THESE TWO ARE ICONIC I love them
Pierce Graves! A shitty pansexual icon
Tumblr media
First off he absolutely knew that Fred wasn't 100% straight he had no idea how it wasn't immediately obvious to everyone
That said Pierce literally did not give a shit who knew about his sexuality
As shitty as his whole personality was he could turn on the charm easily
His parents definitely knew but he was already a punk ass rebellious teen at the time so they have him the "be careful, don't get anyone pregnant" talk and worried from afar. If it bothered them, Pierce never knew because they made sure that he could still count on them (even though at the time Pierce didn't really talk to them much about anything)
Fred absolutely knew though I mean they were good friends
He's not a romantic. He's never really had a meaningful relationship because he's not that type of person. To be honest, there's a piece of him that saw relationships that worked and wondered how that would feel but he knew that wasn't for him. He figured that out way early on when he asked his granddad why he didn't have a grandma and Mortimer Graves didn't sugarcoat the answer. "She wasn't happy with me. I gave her the choice. She could stay and be miserable with my lack of a decent personality even though I was already struggling to not be such an ass or she could go and find someone who actually made her happy. She chose happiness, and while it sucks that she drifted out of my life and your dad's, she's better off."
Pierce could frankly always tell that he was more like his granddad and as much as he sometimes wanted to know if he could even out up with a meaningful relationship, he avoided it. Better to not hurt anyone and wonder than to become the catalyst for someone else to overcome, right?
Fritz Smith! Gay!
Tumblr media
The shy bumbling mechanic of the early 90s Freddy's ? Gay? It's more likely than you think
He was still far in the closet in the 90s He was young, living at home still because he had just gotten out of school, and while his parents weren't super conservative, he also didn't know how they'd take it
Found a friend in the day guard Mike Schmidt early on. Mike was looking for a roommate since his last one had moved out and Fritz jumped at the chance
They are like totally boyfriends by the time they cameo in the story though
Mike Schmidt! Another gay icon!
Tumblr media
Mostly invited Fritz to live at his apartment because he felt bad that this poor shy mechanic was getting constantly harangued about the animatronics having problems
Was glad to let Fritz complain about it and even cry it was very stressful but Fritz needed the money
Mike liked him. It would be hard not to really. Fritz was a sweetheart.
Mike didn't ask him out till much later though he wasn't quite sure that Fritz was gay and didn't want to ruin their friendship.
Luckily it didn't and as it turns out they worked well in a relationship.
Fritz's parents had to take some time to get used to it when finally Fritz got the nerve to tell them but as soon as they did there was no end of support from them
Mike's parents were the opposite which was mainly why he already lived by himself but oh well he got a cute boyfriend and cool parents-in-law later it was kind of a win
Daniel Hartford-Dunn! Gay!
Tumblr media
Presenting Maddie's older brother!
outside universe fact, he's loosely based in my actual cousin who lives in California with his husband.
He's 7 years older than Maddie was. Despite that, they were still close. Maddie's parents wanted more kids but struggled to get the two they had.
He's an accountant for a corporation and his boyfriend (and later his husband) is a pilot.
Last time he saw his nephews in person was at Maddie's funeral. He misses them terribly but over the years less and less contact came from his brother in law
Sometime in 2006 though he ends up getting a call from his nephews and there's this great reunion.
He's just. This chill older guy. Who loves his family. And doesn't care what people think.
Since I can't put anymore photos, here's the bonus content!
-as mentioned last night Dr. Phillip Guy is on the ace spectrum. I don't have anymore details about that at the moment unfortunately.
-Charlie Emily is a lesbian. The Emily twins were born in 1980. They haven't appeared in the AU yet even as cameos but they exist. Considering in AU canon the Emily family is alive and well in Hurricane, Utah without an Afton to be found, Charlie's dating her childhood friend Jessica at around the time the AU events are happening.
-Sammy Emily is trans and bi. Both Henry and his wife (who I know I at one point named but don't remember what it is anymore) love their two daughters to pieces.
That said I'll make a post at a later point introducing the Emily family because so far I've only officially given the design for Henry and not the rest.
In line with canon, Spring Bonnie/Springtrap can be counted as gay.
While Fred kept the shows at the diner pretty simple and straightforward, there was definitely this subtle underlying idea that Spring Bonnie and Fredbear were a content gay couple although if asked it was easy to present them as friends. At least, that was during '81-'82
However!
Fred also had Henry help him program in a special one time only song called Springtime for his and Maddie's anniversary in 1983, which was of course a love song. Fred always thought of that as being mostly for his wife, and partially as a turning point thematically for the two characters.
Henry was on board with this. They still kept it subtle, but there were clear moments where it was pretty much certain that the only way to interpret Spring Bonnie and Fredbear was as a couple. It was either so subtle that no one was bothered or Spring Bonnie's chosen voice was so ambiguously non-binary that no one thought it was odd.
Fred had plans for it to become more "canon" but never got to implement them since Spring Bonnie got damaged before he could.
Springtrap, being sentient and able to later interpret his emotions, is very confused about how he as a machine was meant to feel about this character he knew but the more sentient he becomes the more aware he is that he misses Fredbear and that he loved him. It's the cause of a lot of internal conflict for him. But he can be counted in the category of LGBT characters in the AU.
Happy pride month ya'll! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Meta Monday: why Circus Baby’s betrayal in Sister Location was a surpise while Goro Akechi’s in Persona 5 wasn’t.
Happy Goro Day.
In a way that shouldn’t be the case, we’re introduced to her with her apparently  murdering Sad Desk Man who is either one of Scott Cawthon’ s avatars or Henry or both since FNaF World is both very meta and lore rich.
youtube
“I’ve made something terrible. Her name is Baby. It’s too late to deactivate her.”  The word terror is shown to us in the Sister Location trailer right before we’re shown the elevator for the game.
youtube
She shows an interest in the player character sooner than Akechi (Night 2) and is also quite helpful in keeping Michael alive.( It has been brought up by people more clever than me if Akechi wasn’t the last one to join the party he’d be less suspicious.) In a way she is what the FNaF fandom has wanted since after FNaF 1 a talking robot that’s not trying to kill us. Balloon Boy doesn’t count because he’s Withered Foxy’s accomplice in killing the player character.
We’ve known since FNaF2 that the kids want to protect and help other children and don’t trust adults “Help them. Save them. Save him her.” Even Foxy looks shocked and saddened to see the remains of his murdered audience. “ But the characters have been acting very unusual, almost aggressive towards the staff. They interact with kids just fine but when they encounter an adult they just … stare.” FNaF2 Night 4  “Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back a yellow one, someone used it... now none of them are acting right.” FNaF 2 Night 6
She becomes sorta the Phone Guy/Phone Dude of Sister Location. A morally questionable (but friendly and pleasant) character at best that you listen to because they do seem to want you to survive and they have advice that will help. They also have information important to understanding the story.  Phone Guy wants you to survive because it’ s cheaper than tearing out and replacing carpeting/ cleaning fees and guilt by the end more guilt than anything else. I think you’ re actually Phone Dude’s friend/minion and he doesn’t want you to burn or hallucinating nightmares brought on from traumatic memories. Baby wants you alive because she thinks Michael is her father and she wants him to save her from the Hell he placed her in. And she’ll need to turn his body in a suit to do so.
She sells herself as a tragic monster just looking for an escape from being forced to commit acts of murder as early as Night 3 if you’re rebellious. Night 5 if you’re not.

Yes I am saying that Goro Akechi would have been less suspicious if he joined The Phantom Thieves as Black Mask to break free of being his father’s assassin/attack dog as counterintuitive that may seem. Everyone else admits a selfish motive for joining before the fateful day Joker gets captured. Everyone except Crow. (Even Ren wants to clear his name and restore his reputation and can sell his soul and friends out for it.)
In part Baby works as a twist villain because like Michael a lot of us wanted to trust and help her. It made sense to trust her too. Part of her is yet an other minor whose death William Afton is responsible for. He knew if he left her there at Circus Baby’s Pizza World there was a chance that she would win the unlucky lottery. Baby only strikes when she’s alone with her victim. He left her alone with Baby anyway. And that the more charitable interpretation. He could have always intended her to die to and possess Baby. (“Didn’t you make her just for me?”)
To make maters worse ,Elizabeth could have died on her birthday. It was someone’s birthday. Why else would Baby smell like birthday cake? A detail that could only have come from Elizabeth. None of the robots can smell.
Akechi is also a dead minor because of his bastard of a father. At least he died rejecting his father’s evil will . (That being said I would love to see Akechi truly alive in P5R.)
Elizabeth never does she still thinks her father loves her and wants her even right before her death by fire in Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria Simulator.
In the end Akechi loved the Thieves more than he hated his father. In The Fourth Closet Elizabeth told Charlie she hated her more than she loved her father.

FNaF Theory: Phone Guy is not only an imposter Henry he always was.
It’s clear Phone Guy and Henry have striking parallels from telling people how to use springlock suits "safely”, commenting on the oddities of Freddy's interior design , both seem to love Foxy despite his glichiness, even meta similarities Hurricane though Henry was the murderer of the children, it was a common fan theory that Phone Guy was Purple Guy.
But there are things Phone Guy doesn't know or doesn't know well enough if he is Henry. It’s strongly implied Phone Guy doesn't  know how to matain or build robots in a satisfactory manner. Henry built and fixed robots for a living. If Phone Guy was Henry you think he'd remember his first successful business and if he was Henry he wouldn't need to call the original owner of Fredbear's Family Diner because he was one of the two owners.
There's a secret mini-game in FNaF 3 that deals with Fredbear's Family Diner and to get it you have to punch in the hexadecimal code for one of Purple Guy's purple backwards and in an invisible phone keypad. What song plays when you finally play the mini-game? Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. A story where someone flawlessly pretends to be someone else with tragic consequences.
So who is this imposter? I’m a bit unsure myself but I think it’s either William Afton or his daughter. The Fredbear we see in the mini game looks like how William was described in The Silver Eyes when Fredbear's was open. William has strong parallels with Vlad the vampire in the soap from Sister Location. Vlad’s voice actor said in an interview that Scott wanted Vlad to sound like Bella Lugosi’s iconic Dracula. And what does the movie open with? Swan Lake.
But that's just one possibility. What if his daughter/Circus Baby 1.0 was the one who was Phone Guy? She is “good at pretending” and she does introduce herself with three hellos like Phone Guy always does at first ,then he drops a hello. Like he forgot that he does two instead of three. Old habits die hard. And the imposter was the main antagonist’s daughter in Swan Lake. Remember voice changing technology exists in FNaF. So it wouldn't be impossible for either to pretend to be Henry. Though I’m leaning to it being Afton’s daughter Phone Guy's inconsistentcies would be the same if it was William but not if it was his daughter since she would have no practical knowledge of Mechanics or Robotics. And if she was really young when Fredbear's Family Diner closed down like Charlie and Sammy were it would make sense she could just barely remember Fredbear's Family Diner if she's our Phone Guy.
