Need a separate list of fics where hobbits don't praise Yavanna on each occasion 😭
#vent post#there are too many#I simply can't read them#I will open one and Bilbo blesses Yavanna there#then I open the next one and he does the same and there are no separate tags for this headcanon to filter it out#one of my least favourite tropes and it's so popular just so yavanna/aule would parallel bilbo/thorin#no 😔#or I am shipping in a wrong way as usual#oops the placement of pairs should be reversed in that sentence to make more sense#anyway#it's best when the creation of hobbits continues being a mystery#and Yavanna has ents animals and plants already#why would she have hobbits#she seemed so devastated by dwarves in the silm chapter (probably was more tame about elves and men since they are creations of eru)#and not in a single sentence a hobbit in canonical text praises yavanna#it bugs me so much#someone can't enjoy nor reading nor writing so this vent post was created#hopefully it will be ignored and won't trouble anyone#I don't know how to turn this snobbism off and it feels lonely#since there is very little about hobbits and dwarves I suppose it is ok to make up your own lore#I just wish it wasn't this popular#there are amazing writings but sadly I can't enjoy them
